I saw that this place was advertising Taiwanese bubble tea so I had to stop by and try it! The bubble tea is superb. No pre-made mixes here, just real tea with fresh fruit and perfectly cooked boba. My husband had the combo with black tea and Taiwanese popcorn chicken. Took me back to the night markets of Taiwan. I had the ramen, which was OK but not great. The broth was really good though. The mango green tea was the perfect combination of sweet and astringent with little bits of fresh mango. Rolled ice cream for dessert was a great ending to the meal. I would definitely stop by again for authentic tea and snacks while in the area!

Fun rolled ice cream, the tiramasu ice cream was good. The mango green tea was a little sweet but yummy I would get a water as well if you are looking to be refreshed. Brown sugar sweet tea also super yummy.

First time trying this place out and it was pretty good! I was in the mood for some boba but after seeing their rolled ice cream menu I decided to give it a try. I had a mango smoothie with boba which did not disappoint. It had a good amount of boba for the smoothie size. The ice cream I choose was strawberry and mango but I felt like it had more strawberry than mango. Ordering was easy, there were plenty of tables open if you choose to dine in, and the service was excellent! Overall I do look forward in returning soon!

Tips: *The bubble tea menu is more expansive inside than online. *They are taking Covid precautions seriously. *When you walk in the first thing you will see is an assortment of over 20 macaroons that arent on the online menu- buy some!Wow, this place blew my expectations out of the water! Our family was desperate for some ramen after having an unsuccessful beach trip (I really wish Google could stay up on Covid closings) and I found this place on our way home. Bonus that it had bubble tea too! We ordered online and our food was ready in 15 minutes. We had a ramen/bubble tea tailgate party in the parking lot.The tonkatsu broth was perfect (we got spicy and reg - spicy was a nice heat but not too much). I especially loved how they packaged the noodles and toppings separately (maybe thats standard? I dont usually get ramen take out). We could have traveled quite a while before eating if we hadnt wanted to eat in the parking lot. And I could add half the noodles at a time. The crunchy chicken was also a big hit! I loved my strawberry taro milk tea; my daughter said her matcha milk foam was weird but drank it. I wish we lived closer so we could try everything!

First time here and we ordered Rainbow Bubble Tea with 50% sugar and Mint Chocolate rolled ice cream and everything was DELICIOUS! The gentleman at the front desk was very informative when helping me make my choice on how much sugar to add to my drink and he really made me feel good about my choice. We’ll definitely be going back!

It was Amazing only thing is, that I wish the drinks had more detail. The Oolong Mousse nor the Latte was exactly what I had thought I would be. Besides that rje Dining experience as Amazing and so was the food. Love the bubble!!!! Become 1 with the bubble lol....

Great place for some delicious bubble tea. My favorite is the red bean milk tea. They have a very large menu of drinks both hot and cold. They have milk tea and fruit flavor options as well. I just tried their ramen bowls and it was very tasty. The shrimp was a bit tough to open so you could eat it, but it worth the struggle once you get it open. It’s pretty flavorful and has lots of authentic ingredients in each bowl. It can get quite busy here sometimes. Get idea for date night!

Just passing through and we only tried their fruit teas with popping boba. Service was well organized and COVID friendly, as well as fast. Ive enjoyed many bubble teas from all over and only give 4 of 5 as something seemed off with this one. Still good, maybe just too much black tea and not sweet enough for a fruit tea.

Interesting Asian restaurant. Daughter is hooked on their bubble tea. This time we stayed for dinner. They have meat, seafood, and a vegan options. Since many ingredients were new to me, it would have been nice to have descriptions. Bowls were huge. Daughter was very happy with her vegan bowl. I probably would have preferred a different combo, but the food quality was very good. Wish I had room for the rolled ice cream. Wide selection of bubble tea and other drinks. Prices seemed a bit high.

Great food and service...I ordered online to avoid the covid, limited customer wait. My food was ready on time, tasted great, and I didnt have to wait in any line.All the drinks were great, the only neggative is my Thai Tea came with a plastic lid that kept falling off and causing it to spill, so I would recommend having them seal it in a regular bubble tea drink cup and sealed lid.

I love coming here for ramen and milk tea!Kontetsu ramen is superior to the other flavors though! I do not recommend the ebi fry ramen though. Usually, the pork belly in the kontetsu is perfect, but the last time it was just a little dry. Everything else was awesome though!

The drinks are delicious, I am biased towards the black milk tea. The boba is fresh and soft, their Taiwanese fried chicken and their vegan Ramen is also amazing. They work pretty fast even when theres a long line.

I went here all the time, and I have enjoyed the food very much. Drinks are great and I loved their Creamy Vegan Ramen, but recently I had an unpleasant experience with a staff member who, when I asked an allergy question, decided to give me an attitude about the food I was talking about. It was a big surprise for me. Made me rather uncomfortable. I read another review about how unpleasant the staff has been recently. Maybe they need to be talked to? I understand the fast food industry is stressful and can be very overwhelming but please don’t put your frustrations out on a customer. ☹️ One things for sure they helped me make my decision when it comes to going back to this restaurant … which I won’t.

Great ramen, wide variety of good tea selections and ice creams. The house milk bubble tea was very good. There will be something new to try every time you go there. Small, clean environment and nice staff. Definitely a good place to stop at for a bite or a cool refresher/dessert.

I love their foods. Staff very friendly. I was made a call before I bringing my pet and luckily they allow it but not all the time and I do respect and understand their reason. But I’m very happy to be able to have some good time with my bunny :3

I had their chicken ramen and it wasn’t good. I couldn’t even finish it because something tasted off in the broth. The broth tasted like dish water. I would not recommend coming here for ramen.

This place was awesome! I love the flavors here and the atmosphere of the restaurant. I also like how inexpensive the tea is. We enjoyed the ice cream! We will def be back !My only complain would be how long our ice cream took to make.

First time to this place. I usually just head the Chicago (Chinatown) for bubble tea but I figured why not check it out. Coming in first impression of the establishment very clean and open. I wasn’t greeted when I came in and one worker took a guys order, instead of him saying hello someone will be with you;That’s what one would think instead he just walked off. I waited maybe an additional 5 min before someone finally came over to take my order. Over all the drinks/food was good but the service absolute trash. If your someone that likes a friendly atmosphere this isn’t it,but to grab a bite to eat and take off sure thing. I think I’ll continue to stay local in my city Chicago and keep visiting Chinatown!!

I loooove this place so much! there’s a wide variety of different milk teas, smoothies, lattes, boba drinks, and so many more drinks. there is also rolled ice cream and a variety of different ramens. I ordered the Carmel Pudding Milk Tea and it was bombbb!! not too overly sweet and the perfect amount in size large, definitely worth the price. i also ordered 2 green tea macaroons which happened to be the PERFECT amount because they are definitely very sweet, but DEFINITELY very worth it. staff were friendly and left pointers on what they did and didn’t have. inside is decorated nicely with a decent amount of seating. not to mention, whoever chooses the music has amazing taste. will most definitely come back someday !!!

This is literally my favorite place to eat. Any time I want to spend a little time on myself I go here for ramen with my baby. Its quiet and I get to just sit there enjoying the best ramen and bubble tea ever.

Excellent customer service. Above and beyond. My first time having this and it was good. Would like to try their smoothies. We also had the dumplings and they were great.

I went to Motea- Rolled Ice Cream and the ice cream was delicious!! They roll the ice cream into roses, it really was pretty! They also offer appetizers and ramen bowls as well as bubble tea. I will say that this place is a little on the pricey side (it adds up when a family goes!. I would definitely say go and find something you like!!

Excellent environment, clean, open atmosphere. Contemporary music plays above you through the in-ceiling speakers. Noticeable but not too loud.The wood along the wall and ceiling is a nice touch. The whole thing really reminds me of the tea shops over in the west coast, namely the Los Angeles area and Inland Empire. As for the tea, I ordered the rainbow jelly milk tea and the caramel pudding variant. Simply delicious. I like how they package the cup with a peelable lid so as not to spill your drinks on the go. Well thought out. Service is quick and friendly. Two thumbs up.

The staff is so friendly and knowledgeable on products. You can sit and enjoy a variety of ramen, bubble teas, rolled ice cream or macaroons. They also have the option to take your ramen or tea to go! If you havent tried it yet, I highly recommend it.

Frequently visit for the bubble tea alone. By far some of the best in the area, however it it frequently busy from high school students during weekday nights. I highly recommend asking the staff for popular teas as some are very hit or miss.

The food and tea here are amazing! I have been here a handful of times now and have had pleasant and patient customer service every time. The only qualm I have is the giant plexiglass at the register where you order... I understand it is for safety but it needs a break in it somewhere to make it possible to hear each other. Other than that, delicious ramen, tea and macaroons await you in this gem of NWI!

Amazing tea, ramen noodles and ice cream! I had the strawberry black tea. The house tonkotsu ramen is also very well done. The soup is flavorful, just enough amount of salt! Also, the noodles are not too firm and not too soft. The ice cream is really tasty and perfect. Highly recommend this place!

A really nice/ clean place. Employees are fun and personable. Food is great. Portions are decent. The teas are great and the rolled ice cream is amazing!. We usually go to chi town/ China Town for good Asian food but this is local and mighty convenient. Keep up the good work guys! It all began while searching to see if we had any good Ramen nearby as I grow tired of driving to Chicago. Thats when I saw it Motea bubble tea, ice cream, ramen... what! When did this place open I thought. So me and the wife headed on over to try some bubble tea and ramen.I tried the spicy tonkotsu ramen with a raspberry black tea and mango boba aka poppers. The wife tried the miso ramen and house green tea with mango boba. Dont get me wrong tapioca balls are decent but the poppers aka boba are amazing. The ramen was spot on.Be sure to get the ramen and tea combo as it saves you money. We cannot recommend this place enough. Gonna have to try the shaved and rolled ice cream soon.

My first time I have purchased the Brown sugar tea. So delicious and the customer service was wonderful. I will be returning soon to taste more delicious drinks and try out their Ramen.(UPDATE) Went back to try the Ramen (seafood RAMEN) it was not the best Ill give the RAMEN 3 stars the broth was great but the noodles was like the pack noodles n a few toppings. It look more like a TV dinner RAMEN.

Wanted to try it but with the minimum they try to push for a large and I’m not sure how it taste so I passed I’ll just stick with a different bubble tea place...

The drinks were good but I waited for my 2 drinks for about 20-30 minutes and 1 of my drinks were a lemon black tea and they gave me a mango black tea after I repeatedly explained to them that I don’t like mango.

Motea is an amazing place for anyone who likes bubble tea, smoothies, ice cream, or ramen. I go here all the time, and I am always impressed with the quality and service. Try the vegan ramen (it is excellent)!

The novelty of rolled ice cream is fun, but its the quality that will keep me coming back. The ice cream literally starts out as strawberries and cream that they chop and freeze in front of your eyes, its as fresh as ice cream could ever be. The food is good too, and decent prices.

Honestly, was really disappointed with our last visit. Me and two of my friends came here the other day, in which we each ordered ramen bowls. Our first friend had made it clear that we were dining in, and we received a timer for our order. Within 10 minutes, the first one of us who ordered and the last one of us who ordered (me) received our ramen. After 30 minutes had gone by, my friend (second person to order in our group) still not had received their food, so they politely asked if they could just receive a refund. When looking for the order, it was discovered that their order had been placed into a to-go box and had been sitting at the pick up table the entire time. We had clearly made it known we were dining in, we were even given a buzzer, so my friend had no idea that their order was going to be to-go. The girl was nice and explained it was not our fault, yet insisted that we just take the ramen because it was unlikely we would be able to receive a refund. Which was truthful, as the lady who I’m assuming was her boss stated “the ramen is already made” in a rude tone therefore we just accepted it and left. The ramen was cold and we had no way to heat it, and we just simply wanted the money back. The situation was definitely handled pretty unprofessional (coming from someone who has worked in customer food service for years) Additionally, the ramen that my other friend and I did eat tasted extremely bland and flavorless-a severe letdown for how pricey it was. The tea was good at least. :(

I love this place for their bubble tea and rolled ice cream. So many flavors. But they also do delicious authentic ramen noodles, which are very different from the packaged salt bombs at the grocery store. I recommend the ebi fry, its my favorite.

This was our first time at Motea. My daughter and I were pleasantly surprised when we tasted our Strawberry Rolled Ice Cream and Strawberry Bubble milk tea. I thought the wait was a little too long but they did have a steady stream of customers. We will go back!

Online orders take very long time

Different take on ice cream than your regular scoop shop. Fun to watch them make it. You get alot for the money. I went with a group of 7, we each got a different flavor and all of them tasted great. 👍

This is a nice little spot in Schererville. They have rolled ice cream, since I like watching food videos it was fun to get it here. My son loves their wintermelon latte with boba.... and they have a stamp card for drinks!

I come here pretty often. The workers are pretty nice. My cup broke and my tea spilled all over my car and the manager (Leo) replaced my drink for free. The tea and ice cream are good but sometimes it smells bad in the store. I have worked at a bubble tea place before and was let go for being too meticulous about cleanliness so i have to call the cleanliness of this place into question. No other complaints though

I was very excited to have a ramen place in the area. I ordered the Ebi fry ramen, and it was OK but not great. The portion size was good. The shrimp were good. Noodles themselves were fine. The broth was on the salty side. The real disappointment for me was the egg, which was pretty much hard-boiled. I know many places in the U.S. serve it this way, but a soft-boiled ramen egg is my favorite part of a bowl of ramen -- and some of the other photos led me to believe such would be the case here. Anyway, it was all perfectly edible, but probably not something I would order again.The shop itself is pretty cute and casual.EDIT: I have since returned here and tried their potstickers (good), milk foam cap drink (delicious), and a pink champagne macaron (super sweet but better than I expected). Im changing my star rating from 3 to 4. I would definitely come back to try more drinks.

A wonderful ambiance and equally wonderful workers, all are so sweet, attentive, and quick! I was disappointed to see the bathrooms didn’t work as I love seeing the sinks fountain head, it looks like a mini waterfall! Along with not seeing the sink I also had to go very bad after eating not one but two bowls of soup! Please congratulate your workers for their excellent service and work on getting that bathroom fixed!!!- a satisfied yet backed up customer. ❤️

This place is a hit or miss in terms of service. This is the second time in a row where I come in to order one milk tea drink and Im standing there 25+ mins when other people after me get their drinks and food. I get that there can be rushes but seeing a handful of people behind you get all of their orders while youre just standing there is upsetting, especially if its just one drink youre waiting on.

I didnt know what to order, since its my first time and everything looks so delish. First impression, it is so clean! The staff is super happy and friendly. Went there today for the first time and found it to be pretty great. I got the miso ramen and green tea/black tea. The ramen was really good and better than I expected. Glad a place like this now exists and will be returning to try more items!
