Purchased 2019 R1250GS at BMW Motorcycle of Seattle about a month ago. After putting first thousand miles on this bike, Im thrilled about my decision to get this machine. Great handling, good looking, fun to ride!Thank you Roman and Laurie for your professional assistance with my buying decision! It was smooth and enjoyable customer experience.BMW Motorcycle of Seattle is the the ultimate way to shop, buy and service motorcycle in Seattle.Highly recommend this place for buying and servicing your bike!Thank you
What a great place to get your new motorcycle! I traded up my adventure bike and was very happy about the process. The team is well organized and takes care about your experience from day one. Buying a motorcycle is a special type of deal so chose some special place like this one!
Absolutely delighted BMW motorcycles of Seattle is back. Wonderful place and great service.
Nothing but a good experience when I bought a scooter and traded in my scooter. My traded in scooter had high miles for the year and they offered a very fair price for it. The dealership is high class looking and friendly.
I brought my 2012 BMW GSA here because of a fuel pump recall notice. the service department inspected my bike and determined that it did not need to have the recall performed on it. They were very professional and service oriented. first time I have visited this new dealership. If you like BMW motorcycles I would highly recommend it.
Laurie sold me my R1250R. Super professional, and very responsive to emails, and follow ups. She clearly works super hard, and is a passionate rider herself. Roman, the GM is a good guy with deep knowledge about BMW’ and Jorge the service manager is excellent. They are a great team, representing an amazing product.
I miss the old Ride West, after years and years of shopping there, but now that the new owner has combined Ducati Seattle with BMW Motorycles of Seattle (each have half of the same building that Ride West once had all to itself), you get more bang for your buck. Pun not intended. Really, its nice to have two great brands under the same roof. I do wish they had a broader selection of safety gear, jackets, pants, boots, gloves, etc, because the only thing they really have a GREAT selection of is helmets. Thats 1 of the 10 things a rider needs! Maybe they dont make enough money off this gear, but if its not available to purchase or get you excited about quality gear, people have no choice but to shop for their gear out of state/online. Id rather give my money to these guys, but during a recent shopping spree there, all I could buy was a back protector, when I was in the market for hot weather riding pants, jacket, and boots. I had to buy all of these things online, instead. Maybe the owner has a good reason for the slim apparel line-up, or maybe hes oblivious to the benefits of stocking quality gear, but I hope they improve the range of their gear, in the future.
5 star customer service. Very happy to get good info from service department.
It was very refreshing to walk into the new location for Seattle BMW and find that the staff were very friendly and courteous welcoming me as I walked in the door and attending to my parts and service needs. My 40-year-old R 100 BMW was taken care of and enjoyed the service that it received I was very pleased also
I bought a 900xr on Thursday and really great customer service. Laurie was super nice and spent a lot of time going over my new bike controls. They answered all my questions throughly. The tech and manager were also super nice and helpful.
Friendly, expert service team. Outstanding all around.Oh, and they sell BMW motorcycles and gear.
Its the people. Its 100% the people. Many Name Brand service departments wont discuss the problems youre experiencing or give an opinion from their, I wont have any idea until I get it on the lift. NOT THESE GUYS, after tearing a tire trying to mount it myself & then pouring the wrong oil in the wrong whole... these guys spent more time on the phone with me than in person!SAINTHOOD!!! Can we petition the Vatican yet?
So glad to have BMW Motorcycles back on Lakecity! New digs are gorgeous!
I really like the new BMW Motorcycles of Seattle. Lots of experienced staff came over after the old store went out of business including the chief mechanic, Jorge, and manager, Roman. The shop is up and running. They are BMW exclusively.
Best BMW bike shop, by far!! Unlike the Polaris owned shops, this place is staffed by knowledgeable biking enthusiasts, that listen and care. I bought a GTL, and it was fun and easy. No pressure, just like you’re one of the family... like Harley shops used to be. I’ve owned Harleys, Indians, Aprilia, Yamaha, and Kawasaki bikes and zig-zagged the country’s backroads, so know dealer personalities. BUY HERE. They’re great!
My first experience there means I’ll be a lifetime customer. They went above and beyond to help a customer they’ve never met. If the world had more customer service like these guys provide, it would be a better place. Support this business, you’ll be happy you did.
Wonderful experience here. Kevin and Roman absolutely made the difference between here and other dealers. They were extremely patient and spent lots of time with me as I was ensuring I was making the right decision. At the end of the day, I walked away with the best bike Ill ever own, and from a brand and dealership that Im confident will take care of me. Definitely recommend this place and ask for Kevin!
What a great place to do business. Shout out to my salesman, Kevin. Great guy, not too pushy and was excited for me too! I would recommend!
Have been to their shop twice in the past two weeks, first time I wandered around the shop for about 15 minutes while some guy in a stocking cap sat at a desk making sure not to make eye contact, after I was on the sidewalk with my back to the dealership a woman finally asked if she could help me. I went back yesterday, to look at a bike I saw on their website... This time I made an effort to engage their personnel, I walked up to the counter and told the same guy (well the same hat anyway) I was interested in this particular bike. Without lifting his head he said used bikes are across the street in a voice that couldnt have possibly shown more disinterest. Not a great way to get a new client, or treat an old one.
This place bent over backwards to help us. We had a crazy schedule and needed the work done before we could send the bike overseas. Jorge was simply fabulous got the parts in a day worked with our schedule got the work done in a day and let us keep the bike there for two days saving us over 6 hours of driving. Shame we only got to use it once of we lived there they would be out absolute go to guys.
I decided to check this dealership out because I was interested in a BMW S1000RR. I went and filled out an online reservation last week to test ride the bike today 4/30/19 at 1pm. As soon as I get to the dealership & go inside there are two employees conversing with one another. They stop & the girl says hi while the guy behind the counter in the hat just looks away, I say hi back and nothing else is said after that. I then proceed to let the girl know I was there to test ride a bike & that I reserved the test ride online. The girl looked at me as if she was scared and confused. After she went to go find someone to help me, I pulled up the email to get the name of the lady who sent me an email back. I asked the same girl for Laurie because I no longer wanted to deal with her. I met with Laurie who didnt have the bike ready & had to go check to see if it was close by. She questioned me about if I had reserved a test ride which I said yes but could not show her a confirmation email as they never sent one out.(Apparently their website does not send out confirmations to potential clients nor the people working there) After 20 minutes of waiting I was told that the bike had sold on Saturday. No one bothered to inform me that the bike was sold until after I wasted gas & time to go there. Their website needs to be updated to reflect confirmations & when a bike that a client is interested in has been sold. I will not be doing any business in the future at this place ever. I can find another S1000RR somewhere else that is on top of things with better customer service.
I have purchased over 15 BMW motorcycles from this dealership both as Ride West and Seattle BMW. Roman has been there since 2004, Laurie is relatively new to the store but experienced. She has extensive training and sales experience with BMW cars and motorcycles in San Diego. She also rides and owns several BMW models. One of the best!I recently purchased a 2019 R1250RT from Roman. He treated me right with a fair deal and honest trade. I trust theses people! You should too.
We traveled from Alaska and bought a few things for the return trip--highway pegs, face shield, pin lock, etc. Called, talked to Ben, and the next day the pegs had arrived. Ben, Zach, and Brian were particularly helpful. Excellent dealership with a strong inventory of parts, and they could order overnight items they did not carry. Great customer service.
I have bought two motorcycles here. I always get good service and a fair price. I like the service loaners also. Ramon is very knowledgeable about BMW motorcycles. Honestly I have nothing bad to say.
I called to see if they had a bracket for my wifes new bike, the guy I spoke to said they had it in stock and would hold it for me. When I got there the parts guy was not able to find it. They were very apologetic and said they could order and ship it to me. While they were looking for it my wife tried on a jacket that was perfect fit. Chris bell without hesitation offered to give a 20% discount on the jacket. I wasnt upset over the part issue and understood that the computer is not always right. I didnt buy my wifes bike from their store but I will bring my future business to them. I hope the owners take good care of their employees, they are the reason people come back. Btw my wife loves the jacket.
Well, personally I have never been here but I have driven & walked by PLENTY of times! All I can really say is that they look like that got some good bikes for sale! They tend to have a bunch outside during business hours! Check em out!!
Awesome customer service! Service department was extremely helpful they had my carburetors clean super fast. Will definitely return for any future work on the bike that I cannot do myself. The only con is they are a bit pricey, it is worth it because of the exceptional work they do.
I bought a bike here a year ago, and the process was super easy, and the salespeople were helpful the whole way through. My experience with the service department is a bit hit & miss though, they tend to take longer than expected, and can be tough to get on the phone (goes to voicemail all the time, and dont call back) but the service they do provide is excellent. Ill keep taking my bike here.
I just purchased a 2019 R1250 GS Adventure. I had some financing challenges that made the process slow and tiresome - and it was all my fault. Through that process, my salesperson, Laurie McSeveney was the star. She was supportive, positive and understanding. I felt guilty; she said it will be OK and it was. I took possession of the bike and got the first 600 miles on it in (4) days. Tomorrow I am scheduled for the initial service and I get to thank Laurie and team for making it happen. Thanks so much - I LOVE THIS BIKE. Brad
The staff are helpful, friendly, and very reasonable. I will definitely go back in the future.
Bought my GS from sales woman Laurie. She knows her stuff being a rider herself. This is a great new dealership, new owner, exclusively BMW, and the best customer service you’d expect with a premium brand. Service is top notch and overall it is great to have BMW motorcycles back in Seattle!!I highly recommend this dealer/Laurie
Why is that motorcycle stores seem to go out of their way to ignore potential customers. I have never seen this in any other retail venue. BMW Motorcycles takes customer indifference to new heights. I went in yesterday fully prepared to walk out with a BMW K1600 for this summers big touring schedule. Instead, after 25 minutes of wandering around while the employees busied themselves with important papers on their desks, I left empty handed in search of a dealer that was actually interested in my business.
These guys are great. Bought my first bike here 15 months ago and they delivered it to me in Mill Creek so I wouldnt have to ride the freeway in the rain. Great showroom, lots of new and used bikes, semi-annual swap meets for bikes and equipment/apparel, Team Ride West riding club with seminars and group rides at least twice a month, very friendly and knowledgeable service staff. Overall, the best dealership I have ever dealt with for cars or bikes.
Great selection of used bikes that are parked outside when the weather is nice, but overall the Ducati and BMW dealerships feel disjointed inside. And I didnt find the sales staff very warm, helpful or friendly. I wandered around for quite a while before I was helped. They should make the space easier to explore, more approachable if they want to make more sales.
I came in with my just purchased 1996 r1100rt and in not to savy on the BMW touring models. They scheduled me in for an adjustment and educated me on some things I can do to help maintain my bike. Going into dealerships can be intimidating or sometimes a hassle, but the crew here kept it simple and took really good care of me and the bike. I will be back for all my maintenance to this location!!! Thanks for giving superior service (this is in regards to the service department in the alley)!
Ironically, I had a great experience here buying a used Yamaha FJR1300! Not knocking on the BMWs but I dont have that kind of money...The salesman, Eric was very helpful in the whole process. Would definitely recommend these guys!
Small, but friendly staff.
Great knowledgeable staff. No one talked down to me as I asked questions and educated myself. They were pleasent to work with and let me test rode A bunch a bikes trying to find the one.
Had my part in Stock. Very knowledgeable tech who rides the same 2003 GS ADV I ride. He gave great tips and hack ideas.
Very experience,Roman and Ken, made my day. Ken is Super and really knows motorcycles first hand and is great communicator,no pressure. This is THE PLCE to go ! Thank you Ken for being so kind! I will be back.
Kevin and the rest of staff at BMW were excellent. Informative and enthusiastic about biking and the shop has a good variety to choose from...Still working on the bike I will ride away on but theyve been great throughout the process.
They have a riding club thats inclusive to all types of bikes, and unlike other big box dealers, you can pretty much test ride any bike here, and even take their bikes out on a club ride. They also have multi-day riding trips for both street and dual sport bikes.
This dealership is fairly large and they have a lot of eye candy on the floor (new bikes). The service department took my bike in without an appointment without an appointment and were able to turn it around quickly... within a day and a half.
Bought a bike here and had an average experience. They definitely lost my trust when they told me that I couldnt transfer my license plates, after I asked about it. I looked it up online later on and found out that you can easily transfer plates in the State of Washington. The sales manager straight up lied to me when I asked about it, and instead charged me the full registration price for the State of Washington.
Two of us on GSAs from San Diego called to buy tires on way to Alaska. They dont carry Motoz tires, so we ordered online and drop shipped and made an appt. to have them mounted. We arrived per schedule and were told it would be $251 for each bike to mount and balance the tires we had shipped there. That is almost double the $130 I pay at home in San Diego. We had no choice at that point, so we said do it. Both bikes were in and out in just over 1 hour. Mat in service at BMW Motorcycles of Seattle was pleasant enough, but obviously took the opportunity to really stick it to a couple of out of town riders passing thru Seattle. We paid the $500 and left with our new tires mounted but will certainly never be back. I have dealt with BMW Motorrad dealers all over the US and until now have always been treated fairly. So be warned, if heading up to Alaska, consider stopping at the BMW Motorrad dealer in Vancouver, BC instead!
Didnt seem super interested in selling me some boots. Perhaps if I were there to drop 20k on an ADV bike it would have been a different experience. I know where I wont buy a BMW or Ducati in the future ...
Put in a trade in quote request for my 2014 ninja 650. I was told I would get 4200 for it so I went in to test ride the bike I wanted. After test riding Im told that they would only give me 2800 for the bike because its not the year they thought it was.I showed them the email request with the info showing I did not make a mistake, but they just shrugged and said nothing we can do. They got me to ride an hour to the dealership then pulled the old bait and switch. I expected more from a BMW dealership but it was a complete waste of time. The one saving grace is that the service department was fantastic. I ended up selling my bike privately for 4600 and buying a r1200gs through a private sale. I had some maintenance questions in the new BMW and they were very helpful and thoughtful with their answers.
Good shop, well staffed and knowledgable customer service. Lot of variety new and used bikes and a good selection of clothing. Twinned with the Ducati store.
Wonderful shop! Great staff!
EXCELLENT customer service. Highly recommend this place.
Say that you love Mitch Dore and they will give you%10 off
Good selection of higher end gear, and obviously lots of beautiful BMW bikes. Staff was friendly, and talked me through some helmet options.
No warm and fuzzy at BMW of Seattle.... If youre traveling through, you might want seek out another dealer. We were riding BMWs and the the Ducati side of the dealership was far more interested...
Took my 17 C650GT in for a recall on a front brake hose; and had them perform an oil change as well.
Great sales and service. They always go out of way to service the customers
Does it really matter that a FACTORY dealership DOESNT honor older models, like my 87 K75? YES! Had I known that they dont service them- I NEVER wouldve bought the damn bike.SHAME on BMW for not honoring the product line for service.
Great service department...good people.
Awesome experience in all departments. Staff is always honest, courteous and professional.
Service Department is Awesome! Now has Ducati, best in the west!
Nice folks but not cheap
Ride West in both service and apparel never seace to amaze me. I dont shop much for apparel at ride west but when I do they always have what I want or know how to get it for a lower price. Service wise, yes ive had ups and downs with Ride West but when the downs do happen, they fixed it right away. You guys are great idk what id do with out this shop.
The team has been super helpful.
Very helpful. Was down from anchorage and picked up a k60 scout tire.
Awesome customer service!
Beyond lame that they are only open 4 days/wk.
Always great and efficient service!
The best BMW dealer the city
Very friendly staff who are knowledgeable about motorcycles
Not very friendly or helpful. Wish I had a job that didnt start until 10am
Always great service!
Permanently closed
Great service!
Love the bikes
Good shop!
