I went to US Cellular with a friend. They use US cellular not me. The people working were really nice, but were unable to resolve the issues we came in to have fixed. We needed to contact customer service, again it took 3 separate people to take care of the situation that they caused to happen. I personally would never use US Cellular. They messed up my friends bill so bad they had extra charges of $286 worth of DATA that he never used. He has a basic plan that he had for many years. When he got a new phone they were charging him for data he never used. He got a new phone and was trying to learn how to use it. He never added a data plan because he does use it. So when we when there to have that fixed they accidentally turned off his phone. So we had to get that fixed as well as the $286 worth of charges he did use. Personally there was alot of its not my job to fix this situation so after having to go directly to the store and then having to call customer service and taking a lot of time to resolve a issue that they caused to begin with because they put data plan on his phone that he never wanted or needed. It was very frustrating.... It took about 2 hours to have this taken care of. All because the original staff person didnt listen to my friend when he said to leave the plan as is, and they added a data plan to his service. Well it was taken off and the charges were reversed seeing they should never have been on the bill to begin with.... Like I said I would never have US Cellular as my provider. I didnt care for the situation it caused my friend. Yes they fixed it, but they caused the situation to begin with, bso they should have to fix it.
So I had some questions about my bill and some other things so I went in and one person in particular always seems to be very helpful at the Sheboygan vanguard drive office his name is David helped me out today big time .. if I could Id give him 10 stars he is just all around a nice guy
No one ever looks forward to switching cell phone carriers and transferring data from an old phone to a new phone but Im glad I came here to switch 5 lines from Sprint/T-Mobile to US Cellular. From the moment I met with the sales rep I knew I had made the right decision...the sales rep was kind, honest, and patient during the whole process which took two days because of some hiccups on my end but my sales rep was a rockstar coming in during times that he wasnt scheduled to work so that he could work with me personally. The sales rep was also not pushy about upselling me on services that I didnt need which was much appreciated. So, if you go to the US Cellular on Vanguard Drive ask for Brian Sischo as your sales rep...if he is able to help you you wont be disappointed!!! Thanks again for all the help, Brian!
An update was requested. The service attendant was very knowledgeable and took care of the request quickly.Additionally the service attendant identified an issue I was experiencing was due to a faulty sim card and took care of replacing it.
Very friendly. Helped me register the product I purchased from them. A big deal for me. But no chocolate covered strawberrys available.
Worst US Cellular customer service. Made my appointment online for a device upgrade per COVID protocol. Walked in and I was the lucky person who got the sales rep who didnt feel like being at work that day....swell! His attitude wasnt appreciated and his lack of work ethic made me wonder how he is keeping his job. I have never in my life walked out of a cellphone store without the employee helping me set up my phone and showing me features and helping with questions....until my last visit. After asking 3 times if hed help me, and getting the answer of the phone will tell you what to do.... I was fed up took my new phone and rode the struggle bus figuring it out. If 0 stars was an option that is what my review rating would be
Very knowledgeable and friendly staff
It Depends on the day. We had Great service.Josh was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions.
A bit busy but overall good
Do not work with a consultant named Jeff. Called to discuss upgrade options over the phone, and unfortunate Jeff was very unprofessional and over the top rude. He would cut us off mid sentence and had no interest in hearing our concerns. One of those situations where they think they know absolutely everything and belittle the customer. In fact, I would just check out a different U.S. Cellular store rather then going to Deer Trace. Not a good experience at all.
We went there to get an device upgraded. And after 30 min of waiting we decide to leave. Is not bad to be friendly with the customer but keep the chit.chat after they are done is just not.good for business or.other customers waiting
After getting 2 cheaper phones that had issues, I spoke with Dave who advised me to get a medium priced phone after I had my most recent phone had been serviced twice, then other issues cropped up. So I reluctantly plucked down a pretty decent amount for a better quality phone with Dave admitting that lately the quality of the lower priced phones are going down. Its a Samsung Galaxy S 10. It works like a dream, excellent sound quality, great picture quality, etc. The phond is smarter than me, i think with a whole bunch of added features and such to enhance the phones usage.I do like my android devices, so Im glad I spent the extra money even though I was reluctant. Ive had the phone for about a month now. Money well spent. I just hope that they will continue upgrading their towers since Ive been getting some dropped calls a little more than I used to. Thanks again Dave! (Vanguard Drivd Sheboygan location).
Thank you, Jeremy, for helping my family and I switch to US Cellular. Great customer care!
They do not offer an unlimited service with their data despite the fact they advertise that they do. Sure, you can use it as much as you like, however you are capped at 2G speeds if you use 22GB of data with no option of paying for better service. Speeds arent very fast to begin with, so this bandwidth throttling makes it almost unusable. Sounds like a limitation to anybody with a brain.
Sonja was so awesome!!! We went in to switch over to US Cellular and her customer service was great! Everyone was super friendly that we spoke to and they had everything we wanted in stock.
Excellent customer service. Not pushy. Very helpful, knowledgeable, and available. All the sales assistants and the manager seemed to take their jobs seriously, greeted people when they entered, and let them know how long of a wait there was (when there was one).
Must stand outside in the cold to wait.
My experience with Kaitlyn my Experience with Brad Butler was extremely helpful. I felt they really cared and was very helpful and bringing us to be a US cellular customer. I’m glad I made the changeover from AT&T. Thank you again.
I have had issues with us cellular every month since switching over. However, usually when I go in they help me solve the issue without a problem and have had amazing customer service. However, this last time the person who was working with me decided to yell at me when I was explaining what was going on. I don’t know if he was having a bad day or what but it pissed me off even more and if you are working in customer service you need to leave your issues at the door. I realize there are some customers that can be irritating but to go off on me because you aren’t understanding what I am saying is unacceptable and I am looking into changing providers now due to my last experience
The experience was great and the guy I had was somewhat mostly knowledgeable except when it came to Samsung watches, they need to train the employees on the Samsung watches. I had bought the Active two watch the LTE version and the guy threw out the sim card for it and I wasted two days of my days off of work calling customer service and tech support and going to multiple stores. To be fair like I said its not his fault but they need to train them on new products. Nobody seemed to know anything about the Samsung Watches.
Ive had US Cellular for 8+ years. Ive used the services at four of their stores, in and around Sheboygan, and the staff at this one is far and above the best. Theyre organized, well informed, well staffed and dont push the products or services. The quality of cell service is excellent, too, everywhere weve traveled in the US.
Worst service ever. Nothing but issues the last 4+ years. After a half hour of waiting, the guy called the Plymouth US Cellular and got a voicemail, so he said I would have to wait for them to call back or go to Plymouth. Plymouth said I could come here. This is US Cellular. I should be able to do what I need to do at ANY US Cellular. What a joke.
Customer service personal are great .got in right away
DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME IN THIS STORE!! Unfortunately, this store is closest to my home. Ive had to go in this store 3-4 times in my time with US Cellular. Each time Ive entered, the service, the entire customer service experience has been worse each time. Always new people in there, and not a one knows how to multi task. I stood to pay a bill once for over 1/2 hour while no one noticed me. Today, I had the worst experience of my entire life. I entered the store to pick out a new phone. When I entered, there were 4 employees, each trying desperately to get a sale. No one recognized me, or acknowledged me. After about 5 minutes, a slightly attractive woman walks in. This older looking slob who was in the first desk, looks up and says to her, welcome to us cellular, may I have your name? Well be right with you!!So, guess I wasnt attractive enough for this guy, Dave, who was wearing what at one time was a white shirt, but had become gray because he appeared dirty. Even walked closer to see his name tag! Nothing! So, I drove to the next store, had a great experience, and spent money. When I called to complain on their corporate line, they apologized, and offered me a credit! They also mentioned the manager of the polluted store would call. Not surprisingly one day later, no call.Bottom line, US Cellular still has good service, just avoid the nightmare at the Vanguard Drive store in Sheboygan. You will leave there very unhappy.
Very helpful in addressing my concerns in a very timely manner.
Decent service just have to wait forever and a day to be helped.
Despite some reviews, recieved good customer service and Sonja was helpful and knowledgeable.
You should have more people working there takes too long even if you just want to see a built there was a girl there who wanted to pay a bill in the locked out because she could she had an appointment
Go to a different US Cellular Store if you can!!! At least until they get competent employees here. Customer Since June 2013, decided to go there a few different times for different reasons, a different employee assisted me every time, and that is if I even received assistance. Once I went there to pay my bill, waited well over ten (10) mins. – just walked out without paying bill…Extremely horrible customer service. Nobody was rude, just ignorant as to how to accomplish your goals or issues, without messing up your account in the process… If you can go to another location for customer service do it! You will be highly disappointed if you don’t!!!
The employees arent very well informed and hence cannot be very helpful.
Friendly staff and i was in and out in 20 min
Very helpful,
Sucked
