This review is specifically for the service department. I just brought in my vehicle for scheduled maintenance and Im extremely impressed by the service I was provided. The work was done efficiency, everyone I interacted with was kind and professional, and the communication throughout the process, from appointment setup to pickup, was exceptional. Theres another Audi dealer much closer to my home but I plan on bringing my vehicle to Audi Silver Spring exclusively for all future service. Before I talk about my experience I want to say I was not given any benefits for writing this review. I recently called multiple Audi dealerships in the DC area trying to get a glimpse of a car I have been waiting for a long time to see. Both dealerships are 15 minutes from the heart of DC and couldn’t have been bothered by me or my request (you can check my review on their page). I recently called Audi silver springs randomly 2 weeks ago looking to see an RS6, but also wanted to see a potential place to service my 18S5 and my 21Q7. I was on the phone with JAMES WOOD and told him what I wanted to see and he said no problem I’ll call you as soon as one hits our dealership, well that day was today. James wood called me today and I drove 30 minutes to see my potential car. James was extremely friendly and took me to see the car. The whole staff who came out to see the car and was extremely friendly! This was the Audi experience i was looking for. Thank you James for being a great guy. I will be servicing both my audis with you.
I recently had my Audi Q5 repaired at Audi Silver Spring. Dimitra is awesome! She made sure that the issues with my car were quickly diagnosed and she provided sound and helpful advice on next steps. She listened to my concerns about the costs and was able to make sure everything was done within my budget. Dimitra also immediately responded to my calls and texts and proactively provided me with updates on the status of the repairs. Most importantly, she and the service team went over and beyond to get my car repaired and back to me earlier than expected. It was also a nice touch to walk into the service area and to have such a warm reception from her and then from the service team. Wow!!! Tons of thanks and kudos to her and the service team!! Thanks to Dimitras impeccable customer service and advice, I will be bringing my car back to Audi SS whether for an oil change or trade in. SHE IS A ROCK STAR!!!!
Silver Spring Audi is some of the finest people in the automotive industry full stop. Thats say a lot because most of the time stepping on a dealership lot is a harrowing experience. Not at Silver Spring Audi. Ive purchased and serviced my Audis here for over 10 years and theyve always treated me and my family like valued customers. Their staff is kind, customer focused and genuinely appear to enjoy the value and professionalism they provide. There isnt a sense of pressure from anyone at the location. Theyre honest to a fault and work quickly to insure youre experience there is pleasant. They start with the customer relationship and develop an excellent buying and service experience as you spend time there. To put a finer point on this review, this experience isnt true for all Audi dealerships in the Metro D.C. area. Some are better then others, but, in particular, one dealership in Northern Virginia is terrible and should be avoid at all cost. Avoid all that nonsense and take your Audi over to Silver Spring Audi. Silver Spring Audi is an exemplary dealership and youll honestly have a great experience there. Ask for Tom in sales, hell make you feel at home. If youre in for service or repair, theyre all great there, but Dimitra in particular is awesome, ask for her by name if shes available.
I’ve always had a pleasant experience when going to this dealership. I purchased my car from here and the salesman was great. Each time I take it in for service, the way they talk to me and treat me is always extremely pleasant. I also love how they provide videos of the car after the service is completed with an explanation of everything they’ve done and checked for. I highly recommend!
My experience at Audi Silver Spring is always amazing. I can’t stress that enough. It’s mostly because of my service advisor Christian. He’s so personable and accommodating. He truly exudes excellent customer service. Honestly, the whole team is really great. They take good care of my A6.

So I take my first Audi RS3 to this dealership for brake noise and alignment, they told me it’s not covered under warranty with under 20k miles, I had cracks on the pads and I was advised that I needed rotors and brake pads which with ceramic rotors it costs over 3k and about 1500 for pads, they told me the rotors were contaminated which they were not! The pads were not worn, they were cracked and making a lot of squeaking, all I had to do was pay to put a new set of pads in another shop and problem solved for under 500. I went back to tell them and out of shame the manager did my alignment under warranty, to which they wanted 700 in beginning. Ok, I left it at that, now fast forward with my second RS3 I took it to them for vibration in the rear end I am told my rear end noise probably will not be covered under warranty, I have to pay 159 diagnostic fee before they determine if my rear end is bad. I asked the service advisor Demitri, if my rear end is determined to be bad will it be cover under the warranty, just a high hypothetical question. they sent me a message today saying can’t answer that question without paying the 150 diagnostic fee, why do I have to pay a diagnostic fee if we have warranty??? they don’t want to answer the question because they don’t want to fix any thing under the factory warranty. This is the most dishonest dealership service department I have ever encountered.They absolutely don’t know how to diagnose a car they just recommend throwing parts at it in the hopes of fixing the car at the cost of innocent consumers.
I always take the time to read reviews. Those reviews led me to Audi of Silver Spring even though there are at least four local Audi dealers. The reviewers spoke highly of all the key elements of a dealership (top notch service, experienced service techs, professional sales team, etc.). The comments regarding Julie Yoo, one of the Audi service consultants, were spot on and a compelling reason to come to this location. Julie is an invaluable asset to the team. She went out of her way to assist me, answered all my questions and truly went beyond the call of duty. I was kept up to date with telephone calls and texts throughout the process. This is a well organized and professional dealership.
I really like the video this dealership provides after the diagnosis has been completed. I dont know of any dealership that does this. I was very impressed.

Would give 10 starts if I could, by far the best experience I have ever had at any dealership. I normally never go to the dealer for service, but since this was a warranty claim I figured I would try it out, and Im glad I did. My service writer, Julia, was extremely knowledgeable, kind, and did everything she could to make sure I was taken care of. Even when there were complications with my warranty, she handled them swiftly and efficiently. Both her and the loaner manager, Brittany, went out of their way to make sure I was never left without transportation and always taken care of. All repairs were done correctly the first time and in a timely manner.Like I said before, I never take my cars to the dealer for service but after such a great experience I dont know if I could go anywhere else. Went to the service department for a leak in my tire. They found a small hole in the rim that was from an obvious manufacturers defect and they were trying to say it wasnt a manufacturers issue. Went to a different Audi and they said it was obvious that it was a manufacturers defect. Money hungry service department by DC.

To my good fortune, when I called the nearest Audi dealership (this one), Brittany answered the phone on the first ring.To: management... give this glorious woman a promotion immediately! Audi Silver Spring made is painless to schedule a service appointment and took my car in quickly. Julie was beyond helpful and provided timely updates regarding the status of my car and within a day, the technician completed the service and also fixed 3 other issues with the vehicle. The whole service experience was pleasantly surprising. It started with my call around 3ish pm, asking if I can come in to replace a tire. I was expecting a no or you can drop the car off, but instead, Christian took time to confirm the tire was in stock and told me he could replace it today.Surprise 2, when I got there at 4 pm, he greeted me at the door with the paperwork ready.Surprise 3, Christian said the tire would be done in less than 1 hr. He was very hospitable and offered me a couple of waiting room options. Everyone there seemed very friendly.Surprise 4, while waiting, I received text messages with a contact card and video update (I love the technology and efficiency).Surprise 5, the car was ready in less than 1 hr, as promised.Surprise 6, the car was washed.Surprise 7, it didnt cost me anything because I previously purchased the tire protection plan.Too bad Google only has a 5-star rating because Christian and the team at Audi Silver Spring deserve a star for each pleasant surprise.

We just purchased a 2020 A6 from this location and I’ll start off with the good; pricing was overall better than we expected and but we had to haggle for our trade value. The sales experience was very low pressure and we felt welcomed since we were prepared to buy that day.Our salesman was nice but didn’t seem to ‘sell’ the car. Perhaps this was their approach but we had to ask questions about features, learn the functions ourselves, etc. There was no explanation of the car’s bells and whistles.Financing was good, because of our extremely high credit score we were able to get a very low rate but this is after we negotiated that as well. They dropped the rate one full percent after we asked them to run the numbers again.The reason for the 3 star is because after we signed and ready to leave, our car was locked away in the detail shop with no access. The salesman didn’t mention anything immediately and we waited over an hour at 9 pm to retrieve our car. It wasn’t until almost 10:30 that we left the showroom with little or no news or updates. We didn’t even receive a call from the manager or apology explaining why we were there almost 2 hrs after we finalized the paperwork.Overall the experience was just ok, we didn’t feel the service was on par with other higher end dealers like our old Audi of Annap or BMW dealers. It felt like going in to Macy’s to buy a sweater.Edit;Upon finding out our situation, the sales a manager contacted us to make amends and offered a nice perk for our vehicle. They were kind and apologetic about the odd situation.We came back and were happy to see the shop bustling with customers.

Audi of Silver Springs is a Top Tier operation. I own two Audis. On Saturday May 1, 2021, I was returning from a trip and I got a flat tire about a 100 miles away from home. I had to drive on the spare all the way. I called Audi and informed them of my situation and that I would be able to get to them around 2pm to get a new tire. They told me that their service department closes at 2pm, however, they would wait for me. I arrived around 2:15 and they replaced my tire and had me back on the road by 3:15. I recommend Audi of Silver Springs to anyone looking to purchase and Audi. Their customer service is superb!

We purchased our Audi Q7 from this dealership in 2015 and have been bringing our car here for maintenance for years without any major issues. However, recently, on March and July of this year, I had to wait an additional hour and a half more for each repair than initially promised. Often, I had to inquire about the status of my vehicle to even find out about the cause of the delay. Today, the reason for the delay was 45 mins of wait time just to have my car washed when I was originally told that it would only take 15-20 mins.I dont understand why they would mislead their customers with shorter estimated wait times when they couldnt deliver on their promises.The only reason that Im giving them 2 stars instead of the one star is that they did fix my brakes and rotor. The car is running smoothly but I would have asked for a loaner if I had known that I would have to wait for 3 and a half hours vs the 2 hours that they indicated by text earlier.

We had the best service rep helping us that even went out of her way to ensure we got all the needed service and then brought the car back to us since we were in quarantine when our car was done. She kept us updated with with the progress for both of our cars and super helpful and has quick responses. Both of our Audis needed new brakes and the technicians gave us all the info needed to make the best decisions. Highly recommend this Audi Dealer for any Service.

Just wrapped up the purchase of a used Audi Q5 here and enthusiastically give this dealership 5 stars for the amazingly positive car buying experience and outstanding customer service! My sales professional (Atanas Ivanov) was an encyclopedia of knowledge about the different Audi models and patiently answered all of my questions so I could gain a better understanding about the various model years and features. He was very friendly and warm and really hustled to win my business from the very first contact. He sent me a video of the specific car I asked about via email, an email detailing the features, and arranged for me to come the next day for a test drive. When I arrived at the dealership, the car was ready and waiting and so was Atanas! Atanas spent a good deal of time explaining all of the features to me during the test drive. There was no pressure for me to purchase during any of my interactions with Atanas. He respectfully listened when I indicated I was not interested in considering a similar Q5 on the lot that was more expensive and had features I did not want/need. He asked me if I wanted to consider it and when I said no, we went back to talking about the vehicle I wound up purchasing. When I took delivery of my new car, it was clean, nicely detailed, had a full tank of gas, and was again waiting for me on the lot, ready to go. I also got an email from Atanas the next day following up and inviting me to call/email him if I had any questions or to come back to the dealership for additional information about the car and service expectations. The experience I had at another Audi dealership in the region was far different, from the test drive to the email follow-up where I was sent generic responses rather than answers to my specific questions. In addition, none of the vehicles I wanted to test drive at the other dealership were ready when I arrived (despite having an appointment) and I had to wait while they were brought over from an adjacent lot. The folks at Silver Spring really have their act together and I would definitely recommend them to friends/family. I financed through Audi Finance and that too was a smooth process where Serghei was very professional and took time to address my questions. There was no waiting for the Finance guy or back-and-forth 12 times. I chose Audi Silver Spring because they had good inventory on the make/model year I wanted, the best online prices, and very positive Google reviews. Im so glad I did! If you are in the market for an Audi head over to Silver Spring and ask for Atanas!

It was one of the worse car sales experience we have ever experienced. The wait time was VERY LONG, the sales person did not seem to really care about our concerns (just did what was required) and had no regard for his customer service. We thought we accomplished most of what was needed via online/phone with the dealership prior to the arrival. The offer was only contingent on the drive of the vehicle. We arrived to drive and all was fine. The wait time was unexpected and we were again advised to come back due to overnight payment delay (understood). Came back 2 days later from VA to sign the final paperwork and get the car from dealer. We informed dealership of our arrival time and we AGAIN waited a LONG time. Once the final finance advisor realized we were not an up-sell the process went faster and we were finally out the door. I would not recommend this dealership. We ended up with what we wanted but that was not due to this dealership’s assistance. Too bad:( Beware!!!!

I am glad it turned out to be this one! The team took care of me immediately and were so accommodating. What could have been a really expensive and stressful experience was so smooth. They were able to work with Audi USA to figure out how to address the recalls and still honor service options that did not transfer across country lines. Brought my RS5 Sportback in for service at Audi Silver Spring on Friday morning at 10. Had received “Please reduce oil level” diagnostic message/light. Had taken car in for annual service four weeks earlier. Technician indicated that fuel was mixed with engine oil due to repeated short trips that failed to allow engine to achieve recommended operating temperatures. This was an accurate description of my recent driving practices under Covid and a good explanation for the increased oil level/volume. Dealer provided an oil change at no charge under the vehicle warranty. I had the vehicle back, washed and cleaned, before noon. My service advisor communicated with me promptly and clearly. Dealer routinely provides video from technician explaining the services provided, followed by summary email report on vehicle status. I have had consistently good experiences at Audi Silver Spring in my first two years of service with the RS5

Have been to the location numerous times and Steve, Julie and Adam at service will be able to help you set up anything you need and be there to have a great conversation and make you feel as welcome as can be. Regardless if you have a factory Audi or even something with your own personal touch and mods added, you will have no issue. Hands down the best experience I’ve had with a dealership

The quality of service and repair at this location is excellent. (I expect the repairs to be A1 as usual)My complaint stems from the ability to provide a quality loaner vehicle when repairs are being made.Audi A7 - dropped off to get a new front suspension - three days of work $$$- dropped on Friday March 19th expected pickup Monday 22nd.My Service rep was apologetic about not having a loaner car before letting me know that enterprise would be providing with a rental. (We/I drive an Audi for reason - not to be pushed off to enterprise to drive a Malibu, I’m ranting.)This issue: unbeknownst to Audi Service rep I cannot rent from Enterprise due to an accident while In a work provided enterprise rental.Result - me tentatively with out a vehicle for 4 day.Solution provided- The reasonable offer presented to me for the issue.$100 bucks credit for Uber homeA shuttle service back to the dealership Monday/Tuesday.This was after being in the service Dept for 3 hours.I would have expected more of an effort to be provided a loaner from Audi at least by the following day.But the $100 offer to cover my Uber when I’ll have to rent a vehicle for 3 to days doesn’t fit the customer service typically provided by Audi.Update -2 hours later.Mike calls, is apologetic and has a vehicle available!As a customer i understand that sometimes things don’t go according to the process. I appreciate the response an effort to find a reasonable solution.Thanks to all involved,The quality of service and repair at this location is excellent.

We had a warranty issue that wasnt fixed by another dealer when we bought our car. Dimitra was able to get the entire issue resolved without any cost to us, despite there being things not normally covered as part of it. Would go again, and would recommend to others.

It’s been a fantastic car.I finally booked an appointment (6/8/20) to have two outstanding recalls handled, as well as to have two issues looked at. Very unprofessional. Made an appointment to get maintenance. Dropped the car off came back & wasnt done...I needed a loaner car & they didnt want to give me one. Several disgruntled customers in waiting area, and one was complaining that he had been waiting 5 hours, and the customer service rep said things hsppen...very unprofessional

I strongly suggest people avoid this dealership when youre outside of your warranty. I have always had my Q5 hybrid serviced here. My warranty ran out a few years ago. I was quite happy with service when things were covered. I found the advisors polite and personable, and the car was always returned clean, and without issues. The sales room is nice and the waiting area is very airy (for these pandemic times) with a good coffee machine. Prior to my recent experiences I was considering a second Q5 and would have purchased it here, after twice looking at the Q5 and Q7 while waiting for service, with helpful, knowledgable salespeople.After my warranty expired though, its been a different story. Ive been unhappy and felt ripped off, potentially paid for things I didnt need to, and had my follow-up questions ignored for the last three times in a row. Fool me once, etc. I will be writing to Audis Head Office about this dealerships service department. This is a detailed review, and if you dont have time to read it, the tl;dr version is that I felt consistently ripped off. If you look at the other reviews, youll see a clear pattern that others have had the same experiences.So yes, the high prices you see at any dealership for after warranty service exist here. Ive continued to use the dealership because I have always felt they know what they are doing, and that justifies the prices and Ive trusted them when theyve told me things need doing. No more though. They continually find expensive things they claim need to be fixed.I was told my battery was bad and needed replacing immediately. I opted not to do this, and a month later with multiple starts including cold ones, the battery is still fine.I had a warning light. Id already pulled the code, I knew what the problem was. I asked how much it would cost to fix it, and I told them I had no interest in replacing the whole headlamp, because it was just the adaptive (cornering) part that was malfunctioning. I got a $150 charge and a ridiculous 3k quote to replace the whole headlight.I was told at at least two visits that a tire needed to be replaced and couldnt be repaired. Both times I agreed to replacement and both times, when I asked, oops, no picture was available showing it couldnt be repaired and the tire had already been recycled, so they couldnt show me the tires either. Once, I could understand, but twice? Then, both times, I needed, according to them, an alignment at their crazy prices (it shows $465 on the estimate for alignment and an extra $77 for rotation). I had that done both times and most recently, its actually pulling left now where it was not before.I was told an exhaust clamp needed putting in, and paid for that, and now its making a noise that it wasnt making before. Maybe the noise is the clamp, maybe its something else. (They did a recall repair on my airbag once and left something loose in there that rattled around for a year until it finally fixed itself, amusingly, after Id driven on a bumpy road.They quoted me almost $1,300 for the front brake pads/rotors to be replaced, despite not telling me at the last service that pads needed replacing at a certain point or Id need new rotors again too. This is a place Ive always trusted and just paid whatever theyve charged me and done the service at whatever mileage theyve recommended.I texted and called after the last service and I was ignored. Im busy. I let it slide. I did the same this time ~ ignored by the service advisor, an unfailingly polite guy until youve paid and then theres no answer. I emailed the service manager, who immediately called me, and I had a very long talk with him explaining things to me in detail. Yes, ok, I get where Audi never repairs a tire, but you could have left it on the car and let me try somewhere else? And, why twice havent you taken a picture of the unrepairable tire? He offered me a credit of 150.00 to the unnecessary headlamp diagnostic, and he asked me to take and send a video of the weird noises (two of them). I did. No reply.
Not very happy with the way this dealership does business. I ordered a 2020 S4 (personalized) on February 2020 and they told me they should be able to get it made and delivered at their dealer within 4-5 months, June or beginning of July so I left them the deposit they required. Well, nobody was expecting a pandemic and I understand the factories in Germany had to close. I get it. Not their fault. I called back at the end of June just to get an ETA already expecting it wasn’t going to come in on time. They told me I should be able to see it late August or beginning of September. I called back on August 28th to make sure everything was still on track. Well, it turns out they had not even started making the vehicle so they told me it wasn’t going to get made as a 2020 anymore, but instead a 2021. That added and exta 4-5 months I had wait. ETA was MAYBE December 2020 or 2021. So instead I looked at other options and found 4 vehicles available already in the states. I decided to go in person Saturday August 29th to get one of them ordered. They told me they were going to get in contact with the dealer and let me know Monday August 31st if the car was available. Even though I had already told them it was. I left disappointed. Minutes later I decided to call Audi of Bethesda and they were able to secure the vehicle for me over the phone, take my deposit over the phone, and get a deal done with me over the phone. They also told me over the phone I should be able to see the car within a week. So I go back to this dealer (Audi of Silver Spring) on Sunday August 30th to ask for my original deposit back and they told me since I gave them cash they’ll have to order a check for me and that they’ll have it ready for pick up Wednesday Sep 2nd. I gave them an extra day and went today September 3rd to pick it up only to hear from the manager that the check was going to get mailed to me instead. I believe Daniel (the salesman) did his part because he has no control of special orders. The issue was with sales manager/ordering manager Tom who didn’t seemed interested in getting my business.
My daughter bought a 2018 Q5 from Brian Sarecky and he was amazing. He was very prompt in his text and calls before purchase. We made the deal on the phone and drove 2 1/2 hours to the dealership. He had the car ready and it was exactly as he said it would be. They gave her a good price and treated us very professionally and friendly. For starters Christian’s enthusiasm was through the roof, he makes me feel “better than family” every time I come in. This is the best Audi dealership I’ve been too, and will be the only Audi dealership I’ll ever come too. His company knowledge and flexibility makes him an awesome representstive. Honestly everyone I spoke too from the time I drove into the service lane and back out again, gave me phenomenal Customer service. Christian even went to the extents of providing breakfast. If I don’t give that 6 stars, I don’t know who will. They always have a solution to any Audi’s complications you may have. I’ll recommend them over n over!
