Mr Rick McMillan was my car salesman an he took very good care of me from when I walked in the door to me driving off the lot. He kept me up to date an informed at all times he even made sure I received a second key to my truck. He negotiated for me an got me the best price possible. I’m telling u he’s a older salesman don’t let that fool u he is one of a kind never met one like him.he gave me a tour of the vehicle I bought from the lights to the paperwork in the vehicle an he never rushed me he was patient an very professional. Don’t bother calling ahead about a vehicle. They will sell it out from under you. Called today and asked if the vehicle was still available. Gave my name and said I’m on my way. Drove 45 mins to get there and they were already selling it to someone else. They don’t have much integrity here. I’d go somewhere else.

I recently had a brake problem with my 2020 Trax. I was out of town. Called service dept on Saturday and Doug Caffrey called me and I explained that I was out of town and my brakes went out. He arranged a tow truck to come get me and tow my car to Jimmy Gray in Southaven MS . I was given a loaner car to drive until my car was fixed. Everyone there is so nice and good to me as I am 85 years old and have to rely on them when I have a car problem and they always have taken care of my needs for past 10 years since my husband passed away. I cannot say enough good things about Doug, Steve, David, Nick and person who handles loaners. Also Jimmy Gray, Jr. himself, I consider my dear friend

I have been living in this area for less than 2 years.I brought in my car for broken windshield wiper linkage. When I arrived at the service department the people were friendly and courteous. What really impressed me was how fast they completed the service! I have over 40 years experience of having to reluctantly deal with slow automobile service departments. I was used to having to wait 3-4 hours for any service to be completed. Jimmy Grey Chevrolet completed their service in less than 45 minutes! Jimmy Grey Chevrolet will now be my Chevrolet dealer of choice in this area.

Never again!!! Less than a month after purchase, I had to have 2100.00 of work done on the vehicle because it stopped running. When I call they tell me the parts were not part of their point inspection. Now its time for an oil change, which I was promised free & all of a sudden the paperwork is unable to be found anywhere in their system. When I say it has been nothing but a headache when something is needed but definitely not one when I gave them my $$.

Summary: Jimmy Gray dinged my new vehicle, tried to cut corners, resulted in multiple trips/headaches/weeks and a vehicle that will never be the same as when I took it. I’ve never left a review before, but I hope this review keeps auto owner from going through the same thing (especially on a brand new vehicle). Not showing all photos on this review. Click profile to see additional.If I could give zero stars, I would. I dropped off my new vehicle (only ~2,500 miles on it) at Jimmy Gray Chevrolet for the first complimentary oil change. When I returned and walked up to my truck I noticed grease was on all four door handles (why did they open my doors for an oil change?), the hood, other exterior areas, and dirt and grease had also been tracked inside the truck. I did not want to cause trouble, so I went home and washed the vehicle.While washing I notice a door ding with blue paint. I called Jimmy Gray and they took ownership (maybe worth one star in review). I took the car back up there and the touch up looked like dried up white out. Next attempt looked better, but this is my brand new vehicle and on my drivers side door...I dont want to notice their mistake every time I get in my expensive, new vehicle.So, we get to the extremely screwed up part...Jimmy Gray takes my truck to their paint shop to fix it and tells the paint shop to only paint the damaged area. My vehicle has metallic flakes and they know this will be noticeable (I even spoke with a person who was involved in all of this and they told me they tried to warn the Jimmy Gray people this wouldnt work but they said do it anyway). I go to pick my truck up and you can see a stripe down the side of it. After getting rid of the sick feeling in my stomach, I asked the Jimmy Gray worker I had been dealing with to come look. He acts like he cant see it. I leave. Everyone else sees it right away...Many other things happened during this process (interior damage, etc.) that would make anyone never take anything they care about to this place, but I dont want to make this TOO long. Jimmy Gray ended up fixing most of this after battling on a daily basis, but the truck will never be 100% the same. Im including pictures. Some are hard to tell whats going on, but just trust me... you dont want to take your vehicle to Jimmy Gray. Im not the first person I have heard to have their vehicle damaged by this place.

I bought a Nissan Versa from Jimmy Gray Chevrolet in October. 10 DAYS after the purchase, the transmission broke and I had to replace it. It happens. But in January, so less than 4 months after buying the car, the drive belt and the alternator broke. I now have to replace both. I keep on having troubles with that car and, to me, Jimmy Gray Chevrolet did not do its job well. This is unacceptable. Would not recommend at all, unless you love not being able to use your car because it is constantly being repaired.

Had high hopes for this place due to rave reviews, however after visiting twice, I won’t EVER set foot this lot. On two separate occasions my husband and I went with great intentions to purpose but no sales person to be found. The second time, there was an actual salesman who did not even acknowledge us. I went in to speak with the manager and his EXCUSE were that they were short of staff but when I walk in I see a room full of people soaking up the air. We also walked across the entire parking lot and still no one came out to acknowledge us. No sir, no ma’m. No thank you.

The service department here is beyond great. Working with Steve and David over the phone and through the work being done on my vehicle was wonderful. They were able to keep me informed of everything so that I was able to know and plan my days. Upon pick up they were both very professional and explained what was done to my vehicle very thoroughly. The amount I paid was exactly what was quoted. No hidden fees. There was a slight issue when I picked up that had nothing to do with the dealership yet Kyle came out to my vehicle and fixed the issue and Steve did not even charge me. My husband and I purchased a vehicle from this location in June of this year and the vehicle has been in the shop 4 times for a time frame of 2 weeks OR more each time. Just got the car back MAYBE a week ago and its now sitting on the side of the road ready to be towed back to this dealership again. My fiancee and I were on vacation driving from Iowa down to Tunica and our wheel bearing hub broke in Arkansas. We drove to this dealership and arrived around 4 in the afternoon. They closed at 6. I would recommend Jimmy Gray as a dealership, especially Alberta (shes our favorite salesperson), but I probably will not be going back in the future to have my vehicle serviced. An oil change for my 2014 Chevy has went from around 49.99 to now 69.99. I used to could not buy the oil and filter myself to change my oil, but since their prices have gone up... I can buy it cheaper. None of the coupons work for as many quarts as mine takes and they kept sending me a 10% off coupon, but the tech said it was not valid on oil changes.

If I could rate the service at Jimmy Gray less than 1 star I would. I called for warranty service on my 2017 Camaro 2SS (for a known issue with the Torque Converter Shudder) with less than 10,000 miles to understand if I should make an appointment. I was told they do not make appointments for this type of service and it was first come first serve. I dropped my car off Thursday 8am, I was told by Kevin they were busy and it would probably be Monday before I get my car back and they would diagnose the car on Friday. I called Monday morning to check the status. I was told Kevin was busy, the person (I believe his name was Nick) took my number and would have Kevin call me back. Two hours pass, I called back and was able to reach Kevin. At this time I was told the tech had not looked at my car yet, but would probably do the diagnosis that afternoon. I was told the standard for this issue (GM has released a tech bulletin) was to flush and replace the trans-fluid 3 times but the tech had to diagnose the first and would do so that afternoon. I called back at 3:45 pm to check the status and progress again. I was told it had still not been looked at and Kevin would find the tech (if he was still there) and call me back in 30 minutes. An hour later (not receiving a call AGAIN) I called and reached Kevin. This time Kevin told me the tech had left for the day. He said the tech gets in at 8:30am and he would see about getting me to the front and that Kevin would call me Tuesday at 9:00am to let me know the status. Kevin said that if all they needed was to change the Fluid the car would be ready around noon. Its Tuesday morning and at 9:15, after NOT RECEIVING A CALL AS PROMISED YET AGAIN, I called and spoke to Kevin. I was told the tech had not shown up yet and nothing had been done. Keep in mind my car has been there for FOUR working days Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Monday (without a call for 5 total days) and it had not yet been looked at. I told Kevin I would be over to pick my car up and take it elsewhere. Kevin at this point decided he was going to offer me a loaner. I told him it was too late and I am taking my business elsewhere. I called All Star Chevy in Olive Branch - they make appointments and committed to having the diagnosis performed the same-day as dropped off - we will see how that works. Bottom-line, I cannot comment about the quality of the service work at Jimmy Gray as there was no opportunity for the work to be completed.

Called service to get the radio unlocked the dealer is the only one that can do it in my 2008 GM and I was told they don’t work on cars over 10 years old. (I just had a battery put in next door at Sams Club right next door). The guy actually said I might need a new radio- What a joke had to drive out to Olive Branch. I will be changing my pick up trucks to Toyota. I will tell anyone not to go here for anything.

I dont dislike the dealership it self. The service department disappointed me brought my truck in for oil change. I asked how long an hour or so was the answer I got. Ok I went in the lobby watch TV. Got on Facebook but then I noticed it was over two hours and no truck. I went to ask if my truck was done saw it outside went and asked is my truck done the answer I got was no. 30 min later dude had me sign the work ticket. And said it had recalls they will call me. Might take it somewhere else.

I have never been more pleased with either the purchase of a new vehicle or (more importantly) the high level of service I have consistently received for more than a decade. The service department even helped me find the correct accessory for my car looking up the VIN number and making sure everything was correct. Worst dealership Ive ever had the DISPLEASURE of dealing with! Staff members are RUDE and DISHONEST! I took my car in for an engine replacement and my car was returned to me needing an additional $1700 worth of repairs.The service department had no explanation and did want to assume responsibility for anything! I still have yet to understand how one can bring their vehicle in with NO PROBLEMS other than a locked engine and have their vehicle returned to them in need of a new transmission cable AND in need of a complete replacement of the power steering. My car was at the dealership from August until December and I was out of THOUSANDS because I was forced to rent a car for 3 months!!!! They took their time repairing my vehicle and when I finally picked my vehicle up 4 months later, I wasnt even greeted by the receptionist upon entering! She was more focused on doing her paperwork and when she finally looked up all I got was a very rude Whats the name? I have nothing positive to say about this dealership. Anyone that Ive ever known to use the service station here has encountered new problems with their vehicle within weeks. Save yourself TIME, MONEY, AND STRESS and just use another dealership! Jimmy Gray Chevrolet Southaven wont ever get my business again and I discourage anyone from using them! HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!

I needed to get my car serviced before making a trip so I went to Jimmy Gray Chevrolet to get it done. My husband and I bought the 2010 Malibu there 3 years ago. I only have 21,000 miles on it but I really enjoy driving it, mostly on trips. Since we have 2 other older vehicles I usually run around in them. I have had nothing but problems out of the service department. Been having an issue with my truck for months. Ive brought it in for service 3 times now, and have nothing back on it other than they cannot recreate the problem. The old codes that it has thrown are still stored in the computer. It seems like since I didnt buy it from them they dont want to even look at it. It is like they tell you what you want to hear just to get you out of the door.

A GREAT experience from the moment i walked through the door. Mark and the entire team made me feel so welcome. I went to a previous Chevrolet dealership close by (i wont say any names) and was absolutely dumbfounded at how poorly i was treated. I have bought a couple of vehicles from Jimmy Gray and they have went above all other dealerships ive worked with. Also I lost my house and belongings due to fire 2 years ago and Jimmy Gray along with TNT Pressure Washing stepped up and Helped my family during our time of need. My family is grateful for their generosity and this is the least I can do. They do give back to their community!

Sleazy cunning people. Realize their behavior before and after buying the car. Till the time u hand over the check theyll be very respective and soft spoken. Moment u give the check, theyll almost push u out wont answer the questions. A quick change. Bunch of crooks. Stay away.

My experience at this dealership was WONDERFUL.!! Honestly, I had been to 5 different dealerships(no joke) and they could not get me in anything!! I told myself that this dealership would be my last stop and after this, I’ll just keep the car I got! I went in this dealership and Brandon Bowden was my salesman. I went in expecting not to drive away in ANYTHING!! However, Brandon said “just bare with me, let me see what I can do for you, trust me”! So I said okay! And when I say he got me approved with the numbers I was looking for, he did!!! I was soooooo excited cause I DEFINITELY wasn’t expecting that!!! He’s GREAT!! If you’re looking for a car, he is the person to see! Go and let him see what he can do for YOU!! Btw, he got me approved for a 2018 Ford Fusion!!🤗

Its official. Im going to have to take my truck elsewhere for an oil change. The last time I came here, I was told there was a 4 hr wait. Really? For an oil change? Ridiculous. My husband called, blasted the service man and I was gone in 45 mins. So I am here again today. The young man who checked me in said itll be a couple hours. I said ok. He changes his mind and says more like 3 or 4 hours..do you not want my business? Are you trying to convince me not to wait????? Its an OIL CHANGE Jimmy Gray...hire someone to do JUST that. One pesron who will be here all the time just for oil changes. Who makes appointments for an oil change? Why should I need an appointment for an oil change? I wont come back after this one. They arent accommodating.

I was misled from the very beginning and after I purchased the vehicle I had it inspected by a factory technician only to find out that the truck needed 7000 dollars if work on the engine and steering system. I asked Jimmy Gray Chevrolet to help with the work and they flat out refused. They even refused to buy the truck back at fair market value. That says it all. They knew this truck had these issues and yet sold it to me anyway and then refused to help fix it once I found out the problems it had and Ive only had the vehicle 3 weeks

Horrible service, purchased a car from here a year ago. After I took my car in for an oil change, EVERYTHING was wrong after. Went to another dealer to be told that I had no oil in the vehicle which was only two weeks after the oil change. Which is causing even more damage. I am so disappointed in them if I could give ZERO stars I would.DISCLAIMER: it was my first time getting my oil changed from there because of an offer sent in the mail, NEVER again. It is causing too much of a headache all because OIL WAS NOT PUT IN MY CAR . a complete mess.
