So my original review was not good due to a major miscommunication between me and a sales manager. I’ve updated this review to reflect my current experience with Shaver Jeep. Their sales manager reached out to me to make right what I believed to be poor customer service. This impressed me and showed me they cared about their customer experience and wanted to keep me happy. I ended up purchasing my wife’s Jeep from them and it was a smooth and pleasurable experience. Though I do feel that no dealership should ever put a markup on vehicles because I believe it to be in bad taste, this dealership made good on what they promised.
Horrible service center. Certain service advisors do not keep you updated for several days about a car. Only once I called on the 4th day of them having my car, and asking for the service manager, did they do anything to help me. Do not take your vehicle here for service unless you enjoy being treated like garbage.
It was a great experience to buy my new 2021 Ram 1500 at the Shaver dealership in thousand oaks. I really appreciate the business with sellers manager, forgot his name (Im sorry). It was easy and pleasant to make a deal, it took me 20-30min to get everything done. Looking forward to go to againThanks a lot.
Lease up. Went in. Bought car after lease. Went in when they opened, Talked, made deal out in 1 1/2 hours. Great Dealership. Nice people good automobile and would highly recommend.
Update: Back up to 5. They are responding again and finally sent the check. Unfortunately, the prior owner did not have the spare key and manuals, though Shaver did ask them to try to find.Update: Im lowering this from 5 stars to 2. After purchase, Miguel stopped returning calls and emails, failed to send a check for $ they owe me (so far a month and a half out), and I did not get manuals or 2nd key for the car. Cant really recommend the Shaver dealership at this time.Original review: I bought a low mileage Lexus from Shaver online and it was a smooth transaction, everything handled by phone and through the website. Miguel even arranged for shipping to Arizona, which was a nice extra. Would not hesitate to buy from them again or recommend the dealership.
I had to bring my JGC in for a routine recall. My on site advisor Mike was great. Got my checked in quickly and the work was done within an hour. The repair was fast and free of any unsell.PS - Id previously bought my Jeep from there a few years prior and that experience was great as well.

I came a long way just to get service at Shaver. Pedro Silva, my service manager saw that my car was serviced promptly and completely and I was out in less than an hour. Thanks Pedro, Shaver is my go to from now on.
Worst service department I’ve ever been to. Took 3 weeks to get an appointment, then they couldn’t get to it for 3 days. They kept my vehicle for a week for a simple one day repair. They tried selling me parts I didn’t need cuz they weren’t making any money on warranty repairs. They left me hanging, didn’t respond to my texts and had to go to the manager to get info. Service technicain Chris never said 2 words to me when I picked it up, never went over what they did or didn’t do, handed me my keys and walked away. Shame on them, I see why they have a 2 star rating, I wouldn’t even give them one . I will never go back there . Their service department needs a serious overhaul, go somewhere else.
This was the first time coming to this dealership for service. I was super impressed. I brought in both my Jeeps for everything needed on both of them. Anthony was my service advisor. He was amazing! Ill definitely be back.

0815 appointment for recall waited in line until 0845 to see service tech Pedro Silva. I was told Jeep should be ready at 1200. Did not hear anything so I called at 2:30 to find if car was ready after being put on hold and hung up on by their system and put on hold for ten minutes at a time with no one answering the line numerous times, I made fifteen (15) calls over the next hour talked to a few receptionist without reaching Pedro Silva until about 3:30 where I finally was able to find out my car was ready. The receipt I got shows that the software update took .2 hours (12 minutes) to complete. I should have known better as I had a similar experience about 7/8 years ago with another vehicle which is why I bought my current Jeep at another dealer instead of Shaver in Westlake. I thought that service at this dealer would have improved, but sadly I was mistaken. Would rate the experience with ZERO STARS but unable to comment unless at least one star selected.
I never purchased a vehicle here nor would I ever but Ive had my Dodge Charger serviced here and wow its difficult to get someone on the phone, the staff answers the phone as if they hate their job and place you on hold for minutes. I scheduled my vehicle for a minor recall and dropped off my vehicle over night, the representative told me if would take 2 hours for them to complete their work. Its been 8 hours with no update, I had to call twice for a update (first time rep hung up). The man Pedro there needs to work on his customer service.

Ive had good experiences at Shaver Chrysler Jeep Ram since buying my 2013 Grand Cherokee there. I took my Jeep in for an oil change and tire rotation, and the total cost was $0.00. That was because they offered me a package of 2 oil changes and tire rotations for $39.95 during my last visit. Ive had a couple of recalls on my Jeep, but theyre painless to schedule and take care of. Shaver also has an Express Lane available for small jobs, like oil changes, tire rotations or tire inflation (with nitrogen gas), where no appointment is necessary. In 6 years of my Jeeps ownership, Ive thankfully had no repairs outside of recalls and maintenance. I bought an 8-year Logix repair warranty when I purchased my Jeep, but Ive not had to use it. The sales process at the time was low pressure and comfortable. I recommend you consider Shaver for your next car-buying or service needs.

Cars were a huge part of my Fathers and my relationship. From his Cobra, Porsche, Rally Car and the 2012 Jeep Wrangler we built together. He purchased the vehicle for what would be the last project car we did together. We put countless hours and allot of money into the base model Jeep to make it “Awesome”....every receipt every booklet from everything that was done to the Jeep and parts that were purchased was put into a binder along with memories of us together. The only thing I had missing was the Window Sticker! I called Jeep HQ and my local dealers in Idaho to no avail. I decided to call the dealer we bought it from...Shaver. I was turned down over the phone with in seconds by a salesman. I gave up and just let the idea die. Today after time had passed Butch called me. He understood how important it was. He called me...Gave me the window sticker right away. I kept it cool on the phone but was moved to tears. Thank you Butch. Thank you. This story....this doesn’t happen anymore. Butch is one in a million.
I had an appointment for an oil change and a stripped lug stud at 8:00 am. I drove 30 miles to go to Shaver because I hate the dealer near me. I told the service writer that I would be waiting due to not having a ride. 8 hours later, I had to ask again for an update and that is when I was told my Jeep wouldn’t be ready until the next day. Horrible communication and customer service. I have purchased 2 vehicles from Shaver but they lost a customer that day.
Went there told them I had squeaky brakes. Car was in shop for two days, got car back and found out they only did a test. Just received a recipe that said exactly what I told them about my brakes and no other information.
Short Version: Absolute nightmare. Extremely disrespectful staff, evasive communication, they couldnt fix my vehicle, they lied about my warranty, and I wasnt provided a loaner car.Long Version: I scheduled my Jeep for warranty repairs on a malfunctioning TPMS module. When I arrived, the salesperson was extremely dismissive. He skipped me in line to help one of his friends, then skipped me again, before acknowledging that I was there. He tried to tell me that he wouldnt give me any sort of paperwork saying that I dropped off my Jeep, and acted like a receipt was an unreasonable request when dropping off a vehicle. I was promised that the Jeep would be ready either later that day or the following morning. The next afternoon (Tuesday) when I called my service advisor to ask if the Jeep was ready, I was told it wasnt and that my service advisor would call me back. He texted me back, and told me they were waiting on approval for the repairs (that turned out to be a lie). I asked for a time estimate and he ignored me. The next day (Weds) I texted again asking when they would be done. He said Friday. On Friday I asked if it was ready and he said it would be Tuesday since they waited so long for the approval. I called the Jeep warranty number and they told me that they were first contacted on Thursday and approved repairs same day. On Tuesday of week 2 I called and was told that it would be ready Wednesday. On Wednesday of week 2, I called, and was told Thursday. On Thursday of week 2 I told them I was going to go in and pick it up regardless of if the problem was solved or not. They told me that was fine, and that my service advisor would call to tell me once it was ready. After 4 hours without being contacted I arrived and was told I had to wait, but that the problem remained unsolved. I picked up my Jeep with a faulty TPMS module.Takeaway: Avoid at all costs. These guys are a total waste of time. This is the same type of experience I had the other time I took the Jeep to this location. After reading a few other reviews, I imagine they are going to ask me to contact their service director, Mike Allen, but at this point, if he hasnt already figured out that theres a problem with his department, talking to him about it is a lost cause. For what its worth, I took my Jeep to Simi Jeep and they had this issue fixed same-day.

Incredible experience. Needed a new car in less than 24 hrs without trying to rip me off. Albert the sales manager gave me a fair price in about 15 minutes of talking on the phone and had an incredible interest plan shortly after. Jovanny even drove the car over an hour to my house to deliver the paperwork and car so I didn’t even have to step foot on the lot since it was so far away. Dealer was extremely professional and helpful. Would completely buy from them again.

Shaver did a great job fixing an electrical problem. I was quoted a price, there were more problems than originally estimated. Shaver did the job cheaper than the quote because of the extra problems that occurred and Chris got me a loaner vehicle until my car was finished. Great job!

Arguably the creepiest car buying experience Ive ever dealt with. While it may be there process Im not a fan of continually asking what are we even doing. I dont mind asking valid questions but this wasnt that. May have been because I was on the lot late and they were rushing, or something like that, who knows. Its a place I would not recommend going to, just felt disorganized and unprofessional.
Over several years of purchasing company vehicles at various dealerships, the process was dreaded, time consuming and never seamless until this week. We found a vehicle we wanted to purchase for our company fleet, made contact on line, requested a quote, effortlessly negotiated and had the vehicle delivered to our office within two days of first contact. No haggling, no pressure, very little time required, no headaches and ALL OF THE CONVENIENCE that is much needed for small business owners. Thank you Shaver Auto, we will be returning for our next fleet purchases.
I guess these guys must be doing really well if they are too busy to reach out to a potential customer that has repeatedly tried to get in contact with them. If I didnt live hours away, I would still go in there to check out the Jeep in person! I couldnt care less if they have poor customer service. Lets be real, customer service is the last thing anyone should expect from a car dealership. Unfortunately, I got nothing at all.Good luck to everyone else...
Unbelievably bad. I went in ready and willing to buy a car right on the spot. I even had a preapproval letter. (the salesmen Tony and Arnold seemed to be interested to help me make a deal and were great. Jim, however was Terrible. He didnt follow through on returning phone calls. and told me that I had a Chrysler repo on my credit, which is completely untrue. He also called me by a different name which indicated to me that he had me mixed up with someone else. When I thought it couldnt get any worse he actually had the audacity to tell me that I shouldnt be shopping in this area because it is higher end... funny because I just bought a car a month ago from Hyundai and didnt have a problem! He was exasperated by my daughter calling and asking questions yet changed his tune when I got on the phone. It is funny to me that I went somewhere else and got the exact deal that I wanted... when jim told me that there was zero way to get what I wanted and needed to put at least $1500 down. The place I took my business to gave me exactly what I wanted for $0 down and $120 less payment with the same bank. Interesting... This is not the way to conduct business. Totally gross and they wasted 2 days of my time.
I was debating a lot on wether or not to bring my car here for service based on some of the reviews, but Im glad I did. John, in the service department was really nice and helped me get the reccomened service on the vehicle. He also found out that my water pump was going bad and replaced while it was still covered by the warranty. The fact that they look for potential problems and fix them before they become a big issue really gives me a peace of mind that theyre looking out for my car. John, if you get to read this, thank you very much !
The customer service department isn’t very friendly and the car we were looking at had electrical issues and they were only willing to drop the price $100 it was already overpriced according to Carfax and Kelly Blue book. Ended up going somewhere else that was actually willing to negotiate and ended up getting a vehicle without obvious issues.
Had a terrible experience with a big name dealership (who will remain nameless) would reneged on car that we agreed on in principle. Went over to Shaver Automotive hoping to salvage what was already a terrible day. Was met with kindness and professionalism from Brenton, Todd, and Butch. At first they did not have exact color car I was looking for but went above and beyond to track my exact choice down. Was even able to get me a far better interest rate that what was previously quoted from the big name dealership. I highly recommend any who values customer services as much as fair dealings, to check out Shaver Auto and talk to Brenton, Todd, or Butch!
They have always treated me well. They found the exact car I wanted and it was three hours away. So, they drove there and picked it up and drove it back. No charge. I couldn’t find it anywhere else. Literally went the extra mile. I am very loyal and when I shop I like to trust people and be treated the way I treat people when I am required to when I am working. I don’t write many reviews but I believe in giving credit were credit is due. You need to decide for yourself but I have always had a good experience.

Stumbled upon this dealership by accident after being given terrible, marked up numbers at the Downtown LA Dodge dealership. Shaver Dodge gave us more for our trade-in than any other Dodge dealership we had been to, and beat Carmax’s quote. They went above and beyond to find ways to make our payments cheaper. The finance manager even called us back the next morning AFTER our purchase to tell us he had researched more banks and found a better rate, thus lowering the payment even more.Usually salesmen compete with each other for sales, but the vibe I noticed was that the employees at this dealership worked as a team.If anyone from LA is reading this, make the trip here. At the very least, this place will save you $5k.

Buying a new car can be exciting and at the same time very stressful, until now. I recently purchased a car from Shaver Dodge, the best experience in buying car yet. My salesperson was Eddie, honest, friendly, with no surprises. Finding a salesperson like that is rare. The whole experience was great, down to finance Dustin was also friendly and did not pressure me at all. Anytime Ive bought a car, I leave feeling frustrated and cheated. Worst service department!Do not service your car at this location.Unprofessional and rude staff.Bought a brand new car with audio defects and Anthony Ramirez said that he went above and beyond for me and could not fix the problem. Called another dealership and they immediately suggested to either fix it or replace the audio system if needed. He was very rude on the phone and said he cannot help me anymore.

Best experience ever purchasing a used car online. We had the pleasure of working with Jovanny, a very pleasant and professional representative. Even though we live over 1 1/2 hours away, he was willing to work with us over the phone with no pressure. Thier price was very fair, better than market, and they did not play games. We negotiated a great deal without all the over priced add ons most other dealer we called wanted to forse on us. They did everything over the phone and even delivered the car to our home in Riverside, at no extra charge! The vehicle was exactly as they discribed, we couldnt be happier. Ive gone in twice for maintenance checks for my fiat 500e and have always been taken care of by John Snell. Easy folks to work with and have always left happy with the service. I much prefer to go to Shaver Auto rather than the Fiat dealership in SB. I know that if I have to go in for something more serious the quality will be high.

They where both very honest, when buying my truck thata the one thing I looked for was honesty with the associates I was dealing with. Overall I highly reccomend both of these gentlemen. Honestly Alan and Shant love there jobs and listen to the customers wants and dislikes. Alan was prepared as soon as I walked in he already had a layout of various trucks that I had wanted to look at . Shant did his best by lower my monthly payment I really am happy.
Today, my mom and I came down here to the Shaver Chrysler Dodge dealership and worked with Miguel. We had such a great and positive experience with him. We really appreciated the kindness and information he shared with us. My mom and I have been to a couple dealerships before and the salesman are usually somewhat nice, they are usually more to the point though, kind of careless. But, our experience today with Miguel was so perfect. I truly feel that by going into a dealership, the salesman is the starting point of buying a car and their attitude really affects the choice of shopping with their company compared to a different dealership we could do our business with instead. But today was fantastic. Miguel helped us with a beautiful lease on a gorgeous White Dodge Challenger and I couldn’t be more happy with this day and with Miguel’s service. A big thank you to him!!!! I stopped by Shaver to look at a Pacifica hybrid for my sister, and I wanted to try and redeem a test drive offer at the same time. Shaver Chrysler was awesome. They didnt give me a hard time on just wanting to test drive a vehicle, and when I was done they redeemed the gift card offer before I even left. And since leaving, they have not spammed me with calls or emails. Then Ive heard back from them both same email about contacting them. Then Ashely asked again. I told her non of them sent me any pictures. She said Ill ask manager. Today I check and car is SOLD!!!!!
Albert A was my sales person. Ive been in the car dealership business for some time so i have an idea of the ins and outs of things. Every salesman has good intentions, and for some it just comes naturally and that was Albert ! He has great customer service and hes a very personable person. Albert made sure i got what i wanted to the T. He was patient and thorough with all my questions and concerns & he made the process simple & made good time. With the world going through covid the last thing anyone wants to do is go into a dealership and get a car, but Albert was reassuring & he helped my family and I feel comfortable throughout the entire process. Hey john. We are trying to get you guys some business to have the A/C fixed in a couple Promasters but were told there is a two week wait. We were told to pound sand and call another dealership if we needed any type of service quicker. Not the type of treatment we used to get from shaver. Kind of disappointing that we now need to shift our business to crown dodge in ventura who is more than happy to get us in tomorrow morning
Wow! I did not know that purchasing a used vehicle from a dealership would be like walking up a hill in the snow both ways! Every department I had to speak to (sales, finance, and service) was not helpful, rude, and dismissive.Albert Avalos, the sales manger, claims he goes above and beyond for his customers but he really dropped the ball across the board when I worked with him. He was too busy and unavailable to return any of my calls when I first purchased the vehicle for pick up and again when I had to take it back for service when the check engine light came on.Sogol Etminani, the Finance Director, hung up on me when I was asking for clarification. I didnt realize that as a paying customer my questions didnt deem a response.Chris Lugo, Service Advisor, couldnt be bothered to do anything. I had a check engine light come on the day after I drove off the lot. I took it to my mechanic and he was able to get a code. The fuel sensor/gas gauge was unable to read. Took the car back to Shaver the Monday after purchase. Now, I waited for 1.5hr for an update on my car when I finally went out to find Chris. Chris was chatting and showing pictures on his phone to a desk mate like a couple of school kids coming back from break. He told me that Albert could get me a loner car because mine wont be ready until tomorrow (Tues.).Tuesdays work day was close to an end and I still didnt receive a text/call/email with a status update on my car. When I called around 5pm there was no answer but by the grace of God, I was able to get a hold of Albert.Albert informed me that my car should be ready for pick up the next morning (Wednesday). He also asked me about my check from my bank. I informed him that my bank had reached out to the Shaver dealership to give them a tracking# and an expected day to receive payment, NO ONE ANSWERED what a shock, they left a VM instead with all this information.Come Wednesday morning, I still havent received a text/call/email from anyone at Shaver to inform me about my car. I called and was told it should be ready a little after lunch which translates to 2pm.Dean, Jack of All Trades, was the only person I interacted with that showed any empathy and worked to try and get things done on my behalf. He was able to get me a loner vehicle to drive while it took 2 1/2 days to fix a fuel sensor. When I came to pick up my car Dean personally filled up my tank to show that the gauge and sensor actually worked, because Chris was unable to do that, (previously wouldnt move past 3/4 a tank) and he gave my car a wash. THANK YOU DEAN!Shaver Chrysler Doge Jeep RAM & FIAT dealership, I am astonished the way you do business and have such a lackluster idea of what customer service is. The only thing that would make this awful experience be forgiven is to reprimand your staff or at the very least have some kind of accountability. Clearly these are big asks because these days no one knows how to be accountable for their actions, (take a look at the current state of the world) but my goodness, so much anger and frustration could have been avoided if your employees showed an ounce of decency, excluding Dean of course.

Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. I had my ram 1500 in the shop for 3 weeks for an egr replacement. I had to call to get updates as the representatives never reached out to me. Then after finally getting the truck back the check engine light came on before I left the parking lot. When I took it back it turned out their tech didn’t complete the full repair and they had it for another week. Again when I got it back the check engine light came back on 20 miles down the road. I don’t know if this is a one off situation but I will never take a vehicle in to this service center again and do everything I can to encourage anyone else I know not to as well.
Everyone was professional, polite and quick. Didnt have to wait many hours like other dealerships. It was a simple in and out transaction. The dealership itself was clean and amazing. The reason Ive given 2 stars to shaver is the quality of vehicle that sold to me. I understand that it is a Chrysler specialized dealer and I bought a used Ford F150 from them, however the vehicle within a week of owning it and driving less than 60 miles Ive had to deal with a few issues.1. Low oil pressure (really bad)2. Tire pressure Sensor on one wheel3. The gas lid came off and I had to re-install properly4. Worn down breaks, break job immediately after purchase? No bueno.
I was searching across a 500 mile radius for a low-mileage FJ Cruiser in Magma Orange for months - theyre hard to find with less than 50,000 miles or in that limited edition color. When I saw this one on the Shaver inventory, driving all the way to southern California was just barely within my range, but this vehicle is in such great condition - only 26,000 miles (6k a year), only one owner, only lived in dry, paved Santa Monica its whole life, full offroad and convenience package, nice aftermarket upgrades. I knew this was a great vehicle, but did I want to deal with an unknown lot that would take 9.5 hours to drive to from Reno? Im glad I did. We negotiated the deal so that it was acceptable to me before I ever left Reno. I came down this weekend and bought it. I went to the wrong lot at first (the Google address is for the new car lot, not the used lot) and there wasnt anyone there, but someone showed up and we figured it out soon.My salesperson for the week of working the deal, Butch, was great - he answered my calls and texts afterhours and put me at ease about the deal. Once onsite, JT helped me with the test drive and the details, and then I signed all the papers with manager Dustin - and there were no last minute surprises, just everything I had negotiated before I left Reno. I was in and out within about an hour.I drove it back to Reno yesterday and it was a joy to drive. I love my new 2013 FJ Cruiser (they stopped making them in 2014, theyve now become kind of collectible and competitive to buy). Shaver included a limited warranty so even if I need to take care of something, they will help me pay to have it fixed in Reno.Thanks Butch, JT, Dustin, and all of Shaver.
We have been doing business with Shaver Chrysler Dodge for over 5 years now, leasing a Jeep Wrangler on two different occasions and purchasing a slightly used Dodge Caravan mini-van today for my father-in-law. Our experiences with everybody there has been nothing but fantastic. Their used car lot has so many nice cars to choose from, all priced very fair. Turning in our leased Jeep was easy and painless, and they were more than fair during that process.

We have bought several cars at Shaver and always had a good experience. This time, however, the experience was exceptional! Our sales associate, Gilbert Butch Smith immediately greeted us on the lot and made us feel welcome. Our daughter was shopping for her first car and was very excited. She decided on a Fiat 500X that was used but just like new. Butch helped her make the decision without any pressure and made sure that she really loved the car. He pointed out all of the great features the car had for a first time driver and gave her a great price that worked within her budget. Butch seemed genuinely excited about helping her buy her first car. When we reached finance, or finance officer, Sogol, was also very supportive and excited for our daughter. She answered a lot of our questions and the process was streamline and easy. Thanks to these two individuals, our daughter will always have a GREAT memory of her first car purchase and we all will go back there in the future!!!
What started off as a very horrible day for me turned out to become a great day, and it was all thanks to Al Jones! I had to trade in a car that loved, although fun to drive as my family continues to grow a sedan is more sensible, compared to my Challenger. Al made sure we looked at all the vehicles that were in my budget, and helped me get a great deal on Chrysler 300! This is the second car I buy from shaver, I recommend shaver to all my friends and family. I always get my service there too, ask for Chris Lugo or Anthony Ramirez they always take great care of me and my car!
This place is a joke, I purchased a 2015 Jeep Wrangler from them, I was talked into purchasing an extended warranty “top of the line” so I agreed. My Jeep has an oil leak I brought it in with the expectation that the “top of the line” warranty would cover it, unfortunately I was told, this particular part wasn’t covered, but we can do it for 1k, I denied.About a month later I contacted the extended warranty company directly, I was told by them that, guess what?? It’s covered, not only is it covered but they stated that no one ever contacted them about this issue and there is no denial. Furious from hearing this I decided to give the dealership the chance to make things right, before I shared my experience with the world. What I was told by the service manager was, their computers are directly linked to the extended warranty company and that they input the part number and it will either accept or Deny the claim.Interestingly enough, I brought my vehicle to another repair shop, who actually called the warranty company & received the same confirmation I did, that guess what? It’s covered!!The manager at the shaver Jeep said if I post a negative review, he’ll make me look silly because he has documentation proving it was denied, the proof he showed me appeared to be a snapshot of a computer screen, so he may be legit with his claim, however, since the warranty company paid the bill, no matter what he claims it was false.I’d suggest steering clear of theses people, for all I know they could have charged me, then when back and charged the warranty company.

Cheap Dealership. Extremely chintzy, would not even pay for a second set of keys. Cheap dealership only care about them, not you.You go to a dealership because they are reputable. Willing to pay a little more because they are a recognized as a premium dealership and what do they do. They say on no when the car was turned in the owner lost the other set of keys. Replace them, spend a little money of the thousands you just made by selling me the car. I would never go back based on princple. Shaver Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram & Fiat would be a zero stars.

This is by far the BEST car leasing experience I have ever had. I never felt rushed or pressured which is rare in these kinds of situations. I also think the lease I received was fair and with far better pricing than other surrounding dealerships I went too with ten times as good customer service. Both Jose C. and Trevor were accommodating and understanding with my needs and wants. They definitely did whatever they could to truly earn my business even letting me loan the car I was thinking about for a night to see how I felt about it in the morning. On August 03, 2017, I went to your dealership for a factory recall. While I was checking in my vehicle, the service rep asked me if I would be interested in purchasing a promotion for Oil Change. I asked for pricing, and I was told it will cost $165.00, for 4 oil changes. I asked if there was an expiration date since I hardly use my Ram, and he said “no expiration date”. Based on this information, I went ahead and paid in full for the promo, and since I purchased it, I had used it once. this month I tried to use it again, but guess what, they told me that it has expired.I told them that “no one had told me that there was an expiration date, and if there was one, I wouldntve bought it since my truck is parked most of the time”.The service manager came and allowed just one oil change, telling me that he will EAT an oil change for me, as if he was doing me a favor, a very unprofessional statement I didn’t appreciate. I repeated the story to him again, and told him that I was never told about an expiration despite asking your rep that specific question, but again, he repeated the statement that he will “Eat” this oil change for me, instead of apologizing for the misrepresentation of his service department, and for the fact that I am the one who actually got “screwed” out of 2 oil changes.While I was standing there, another customer came back with his truck telling them that he left his truck for service, and on the road, he just discovered that his window wouldnt go up, asking them to take a look at it. Guess what; instead of looking at it, they sent him away, telling him that they are not responsible for it, and that he could have brought it to the dealership with a broken window. The man tried to argue, but it didnt go anywhere, and he left.Every time I checked into this place, the waiting stinks, and no one would ever asks what are you here for, until you finally get checked in. The staff is not friendly, and you can tell, no one cares … final word, dont go there, find another dealership.
I made an appointment for service. I asked if the work can be done in one day he said yes. I texted at noon and the vehicle has not been looked at. I was told he will need another day to get it in. This is the third time this has happened. I was wrong to trust the word of this dealership. The only thing they are on time for is lunch. I would call Simi Dodge. They keep their word.
Darrel Shores and Tim at the Used Car sales department did an excellent job of working with me in a purchase of an awesome scat pack! They gave me a great price on my trade in and came down to a deal on the price that we were all happy with on the scat pack. They kept in touch and showed me things to look for when I went to go look at another dealers car before committing to them. They were patient and did not pressure me. The sales manager was great and listened to my concerns. Wes at Finance department was outstanding as well and made it all painless. No hidden fees or tricks, just good people doing a great job. All individuals were professional and knowledgeable. Super satisfied with the whole experience and would recommend them to anyone looking for their next Mopar. I posted this here as well as other places because this was the best car sales experience I have had in 20 years!
I husband and I came into the shaver Autro group lot unsure about which car we wanted for a new growing family. Arnold was so patient with us he let us test drive a few different cars so we get a feel for which car was best suited for us. Arnold wasn’t trying to force us to buy a car instead he took the time to listen to our needs and in the end we got the perfect car for us. We will definitely be coming back to work with Arnold in the future.

Service department is horrible... if you didnt buy your car there they push out for weeks! The lady who runs it should be replaced by someone who is more service oriented.

Keep in mind, I have already shopped numerous dealerships including jeep dealerships in Simi Valley and San Fernando where they straight show you a car, test drive and stick a sheet in my face and pay but not at Shaver! I was greeted by everyone on the lot and got set up with Mike and Octavio, we had a good conversation on what we were looking for, discussing my budget and everything I wanted I would like in my vehicle, what I could live without and what they can do to get me into the car I wanted within a budget that met my needs. No selling pressure and it was like talking to friends throughout the whole shopping experience. But wait, theres more. After Mike and Octavio took care of me, it was time to go to finance to finalize and get the last minute pitch, but quite the opposite. I sat down with Brenton, the finance manager, and the knowledge, and professionalism shown by Brenton was super amazing! Broke down everything and made strong recommendations and made it super easy to pick, select what I needed and finalize my deal! If you want an awesome car buying experience, then you need to go see Mike, Octavio and Brenton! Awesome guys and a class act!!!
