2019 Sonata Hybrid stranded me on vacation in Grayling, towed to the closest dealership, Bill Marsh in Traverse City, about an hour away. Service department staff was great from the manager all the way down to the tech working on the car, everybody was helpful and friendly. Had the car repaired and on my way home in 2 days.

This was my first visit to Bill Marsh Hyundai as I moved here from another state. The service department was great. They answered all of my questions and even told me about two recalls my former dealer never mentioned. They serviced my car in a timely manner and it even cost less than their original estimate. I will return to Bill Marsh without hesitation the next time I need my car serviced.
I took my Hyundai in for a recall item that was to be changed up free. Then I ordered up an oil change and then they found other things that needed attention so I was lucky to get out with a $200+ bill. But I was happy with the service—especially the shuttle service that dropped me and my friend off at Costco and then picked us up while the work was being done. Everyone were pleasant and efficient as usual, so I was quite satisfied. I love my Hyundai Elantra so I’ll continue to use their service center for the important stuff but will use my local (Benzie County) mechanics for the less important stuff.

Traveling thru Michigan had a issue with my 2017 Santa fe, Bill Marsh dealership took my car in first thing in the morning saying service department was very busy bit if they could would look at it. By 11 a.m. they called me to say they had reset computer and car was ready to go. Shuttle picked me up at hotel and I was able to continue my vacation. Service people were more than amazing. THANK YOU SO MUCH.
Felt Bill Marsh Hyundai was a very nice place to deal with. Received a good deal for my trade in and walked out with a beautiful new Kona Limited. Never felt pushed into buying anything. I had my winter tires changed out at a very popular tire store just yesterday. About five minutes after leaving, my low tire pressure light came on. Concerned, my boyfriend and I checked the tire pressure on every tire, raising and lowering the pressure multiple times, trying to make the light go out, to no avail. I took my car into the Hyundai dealership this morning and explained the situation. They took my car back right away and ran a diagnostic test. They told me my left rear sensor was not responding to their test. This could mean it simply needs to be reset or that the sensor was damaged during the tire switch yesterday. I call the popular tire store to explain the situation to which they insisted wasnt their fault but I could bring it in for them to look at. I explained this to the mechanic and receptionists at Hyundai, the mechanic offered to take my car back again and remove the tire to check for sensor damage. The receptionist also took me back and showed me where this sensor was located and, in fact, could be damaged during tire removal and replacement. I appreciated this so much as it made me understand that the popular tire store was lying in telling me it couldnt possibility be their error. He verified the sensor was not broken, but wanted to replace the part if it was in stock. He did, re mounted my tire and the light went off. The manager came out, told me my car was done, and asked if I had another few moments for them to run it through a car wash and quick vacuum. I agreed. Once they told me my car was ready, I signed for a bill of $0.00. They told me they covered all charges under the warranty (though I had already agreed to a $40 fee for checking just 30 minutes earlier) and I owed nothing. And they even threw in the car wash. I was absolutely thrilled as this was quite an upset for me after paying to have my tires removed just a day before. I thank everyone that helped me today at the Hyundai service department. You all were fantastic and I cannot brag about your service enough! Needless to say, I will be back this winter to have my tires changed with YOU and not the ever popular other tire store. Thank you!!!

We just purchased a 2011 Hyundai Sonata after driving the last one for 93,000 miles. Still had a hard time turning it in because it was such a great car. Josh Lawson sold us the car and was there when we brought it in for a routine check over. He wasnt trying to push a new car on us, we asked to see the 2011 Sonata that was a pre-owned certified vehicle. We fell in love with it and Josh made it so easy to trade ours in,and in a matter of hours we drove our new Sonata home! We love Bill Marsh mainly because they are not like other dealerships. I like the people here but they never did find out what the issue was with my husbands car. His one tire continues to lock up and not move when the temps outside get cold. They say it is due to snow and ice build up, but I am not sure about that answer...especially here in Michigan.

Thanks to the Bill Marsh team and the friendly mechanic (sorry, forgot his name) who squeezed me in today when I showed up unannounced with a rattle that I wanted to get addressed before my warranty expires on my recently purchased 2014 Hyundai Sonata (CPO). The tech discovered the source of my rattle was, in fact, coming from a slightly loose hood (in the latch area). A quick adjustment of a couple of the bumpers and the hood no longer moves when closed, and the rattle is GONE. Thus was a difficult noise source to find. Im very appreciative of everyones time, including the two test drives with the tech during the process.Keep up the great work, Bill Marsh Hyundai team! Ill be back!

Awful. When I got there, I mentioned what I was in for and how they had my fourth snow tire in their shop (because they took 6 months to order my new one). The desk lady, Leigh Ann assured me that they had it (as my mother in law confirmed with the manager, Brad, the night before). I gave her all my paperwork regarding warranty information and she had saw a paper I had that said CNA. She told me that this was one of the better warrantys to have. Shortly after being seated, the mechanic comes up to me and says I just wanted to let you know that you are missing a hub cap and their is some rim damage. I told him I was aware of the rim damage and the hub cap went missing after the last time I brought it to their dealership. I waited about 2 hours at this point and then the manager, Brad, comes in and picks my paperwork up off Leigh Anns counter. He mentions that what she had was my GAP coverage and not a warranty. After 3 1/2 hours of waiting Leigh Ann grabs my attention and tells me that the tire truck came in the morning and took the tire that supposedly had my name on it. I asked if the rental had snow tires because I needed something safe to transport my toddlers as a big winter storm was in our area and expected to last for another 24+ hours. She said the rental had all season tires. She said that my car should be ready the next day at or before 12-1. The ride home (I live an hour away) was very bad so I had arranged for babysitters to come to my house to watch my children the next day when I was to pick up my car. I got to the dealership the next day at 12:30. When I got there, they told me that my car was not ready and that the truck had not even arrived yet. I had asked Leigh Ann what my total would be since I did not want any other services done to my car. She told me that my total was $70 for the switching of the tires and that I had 2 diagnostic fees that were $90 each. I was very surprised and then she offered to waive one of the fees. I then mentioned that I didnt give the mechanic the go ahead to do a diagnostic without a warranty so I didnt understand why I had to pay for them not do a thorough check of my coverage and jumping the gun. I was pretty frustrated at this point and said that I would be leaving to run a couple errands and to call my cell when the tires were ready. After I pulled out of the dealership, Leigh Ann called and said that she had talked it over with her manager, Brad, and that she had the discretion to waive the rest of the diagnostic fee because of all the inconvenience theyve caused. I thanked her and then went on with my errands. Once I got back I immediately noticed that now I am missing 2 hub caps! I went in and asked the manager, Brad and the mechanic who was standing next to him why I am now missing 2 hub caps. The mechanic replied that he had already told me that I was missing 2 when he talked to me about my rim damage. I thought to myself, I would have definitely made a bigger reaction had he told me I was originally missing 2 and the fact that I had my car at a different mechanic the day before and was only missing one then. I then said that there was no way and that i didnt even know how to get those off. He insisted that I was wrong so I said that I guessed it was just going to be my word over his since I didnt take any photos. Brad then went on to say how their dealership did me a favor by letting me use their rental car. I then mentioned how their dealership inconvenienced me and my family by losing my tire and not keeping track of it and making me find a babysitter and drive back into town to get my car the next day. He apologized and then I payed for my tire service. Brad then took me to their parts guy to look up replacement hub caps. They said that the caps are $36 each! So they not only inconvenienced me and my family but they took $36 of value from my car and called me a liar... this is seriously the worst dealership I have ever experienced. I wont even get into the details with my boyfriends car he bought through them.
In the market for a mid size SUV AWD and have driven several. Right now we have been enormously impressed with the top of the line Santa Fe, and JC has been real helpful letting us road test it and answer all our questions.

Just recently bought a 2014 Sonata, Brad Shepler was my sales person. It was nice to have had a sales person who answered my questions and if he didnt know the answer he found out rather than make something up. While looking for cars I asked different sales people to email me photos of new inventory on lot, Brad was the only one to send me what I requested. This was my 2nd car purchase from Bill Marsh, but my 1st new car Ive ever owned. I expected there to be some hoops to jump through during the buying process but there wasnt. Besides coming to the dealer to sign paper work and pick up the vehicle, the salesman (JC) and I handled everything through text and email which worked very well for my busy schedule. We looked at new Chryslers and GMs but we got the most features and best warranty for the lowest price with our new 18 Hyundai Tucson. I love the panoramic sunroof, AWD system, and Android Auto is such a useful feature. I couldnt be happier with my new car purchase!
Per the dealers response to my review. No I didnt go into all the details and the ins and outs of what happened at your dealership but what I posted as a review is entirely accurate. I could go into detail and make your dealership look even worse but Ill leave it at: you can not be trusted to do good, accurate work and that youd rather try ripping off the customer. Telling them they need expensive parts that are unnecessary!If youre a woman be very careful bringing your car here to be fixed!! I brought my 2016 Hyundai Tucson Sport in to be fixed bc the engine light and 2 other warning lights were on. They told me to fix my car and get these warning lights to shut off that the remote start would need to be removed and the entire wiring harness would need to be replaced at a cost of $1500 or more out of my pocket. Because it wouldnt be warrantied.I was smart enough to not be gullible, and I questioned their diagnosis and took my car someplace else. If you want your vehicle fixed by a dealer with the customer and doing the right thing in mind! Take it to Garber Hyundai in Saginaw. It may be out of the way but its well worth your time and money. They found the real issue that was causing all the problems. It was an air pump that was bad and was back feeding which was confusing and messing up the other systems causing them not to work properly. Garber replaced the pump which was warrantied. This pump fixed all the problems my car was having and cost me nothing, zero, not a penny. Oh and an added bonus bc the pump was a warrantied part Hyundai paid for me to have a rental car during the time my car was being worked on. Ben at Garber Hyundai got that all set up so all I had to do was go pick up the rental. Big difference from the raking over the coals Bill Marsh tried.Thank you Garber Hyundai for doing the right thing and putting the customer first. I will always bring my cars back to you for future service and will buy my next new car/cars from you guys.

For years I have driven 3 1/2 hours (one way) to Traverse City to have my cars serviced at Bill Marsh. In speaking to people in the waiting room I have found that many others also come from a long distance away because the confidence in the service they will get there is well worth the extra drive time. They try hard to please their customers.I usually hate the process of buying a car but Bill Marsh make it pain free. Completely satisfied each time. Once they even delivered our new car to our house-222 miles away. Since Marsh doesnt sell Prius we had to buy one the Old Fashioned Way from a different dealer in Grand Rapids. A horrible experience. The salesperson was literally in tears when we left and we were MAD. This contrast made us appreciate again how easy it is to buy from Marsh versus the old check with my sales manager hassle/haggle, It took a whole morning to buy the Prius versus maybe an hour to buy our cars from Marsh, and their prices have been great.
J. C. Guillen was our salesperson, and he was the best weve ever dealt with: low-key, professional, knowledgable, and personable. We had a great experience in the service part of this dealership with Eric, and when we realized our repair problem might be endemic to the year of our Santa Fe (2013), we decided to trade it in for a 2015. What started out as just getting an oil change at Bill Marsh GMC turned into a nice car buying experience. We started the day knowing we would be looking at cars and had a few models picked out to test drive when we stopped for our oil change. While we were wandering around Jeff Baja asked if he could help us or if we had any questions. We started talking which turned into a test drive of a Buick Encore which was very nice but smaller than we wanted. Eventually we got around to discussing Hyundais and he met us over at the Hyundai facility to look at some further. Needless to say we ended up with a Hyundai Santa Fe Sport that we are very happy with. It ended up being the size we were looking for, the color we liked with all the options we wanted. Jeff was very helpful and seemed to be listening to all the questions we were asking and anything he didnt know JC at the Hyundai dealership answered for us. Both Jeff and JC were great when we took delivery of the car and even though we have not been able to stop back in to see them, I hope you let them know they both did an awesome job for us. Oh, and we never did get to the other dealerships we had on our list for that day.
