A friend of mine knows the owners personally and recommended them to me. Ive always bought cars from the big dealerships thinking I would get better cars and service.....boy, was I wrong! These people are fantastic. They went the extra mile to make sure everything went perfectly and when I came to pickup the car I bought it literally took 15 minutes or so. Ive spent up to 7 hours at other dealerships waiting for them to get all the paperwork ready for a car I bought.

We bought a car a couple years ago from one of the places down the street and got taken when they jacked the price of the car up without us catching it on the paperwork. Used Car Factory was a much different experience. The sales guy was wonderful, very informative and helpful and explained every bit of the paperwork as we went through it. Dont buy a car anywhere else.

The guys at Used Car Factory went above and beyond to help me understand the car-buying and financing process. My mom works for a local bank and did not think they could get me financed. Not only did they get me financed, but I got a good rate and my payment was lower than I expected.

I initially was not sure what to expect from a smaller dealership as I have always went to big ones but this experience reminded me why it is so important to support local small businesses. We have been around to all of the dealerships around town and this place stands above the rest. They are not the biggest lot in town but their cars are cleaner and better maintained than any of the other lots we looked at. We eneded up buying a like-new Toyota Tundra and couldnt be happier with it.

Greg was very welcoming and helpful. I drove through another dealership down the road and they were like vultures, to put it mildly.

Make sure you have someone look over the car personally and do your car fax. Bought a car from them in September almost left us stranded a couple weeks later in the middle of the Upper Peninsula. Had to drive slowly back to Traverse with about 1400 dollars worth of repairs to come. Valve cover gaskets, spark plugs, pvc valves, brakes all around. Also two oil changes on the way back home from the massive oil leak coming from the valve cover gaskets. I lost about 2 quarts in 225 miles nothing on the dipstick. Was puffing out white smoke when you were at 50% throttle so we couldn’t go over that accelerating. Not sure what kind of damage is done to the engine. Posting this now because I lost my job and can’t afford it anymore and no one seems to want to buy it with so many fender benders on car fax. Just make sure you do your research

My father bought a truck from used car factory. They didn’t have what he wanted on the lot so they found exactly what he wanted at auction within 10 days and had it ready to go at a very reasonable price. Great communication the whole way through the process. 50k miles later and the only thing it’s needed was normal maintenance(oil change, etc) great people to work with.

Purchased a Toyota Sequoia SR5 from them over 2 years ago. Car had 170 k miles on it. Now its approaching 230 k miles and runs amazing. All Ive done is brakes a few times on the ride. Drove to Tennessee and back a few times never had one issue with my ride. Definitely recommend them for anyone looking to get financed into a nice reliable ride.

I bought a car from Lyle (the owner) back in August and I also purchased the warranty he offered. I was told everything was covered 100% and they also covered rental cars as well. I go to make a claim on my warranty and am told I am responsible for tax, $100 deductible and I can be reimbursed for a rental if my car takes more than two business days to be fixed, none of this was discussed at the sale. This dealer is dishonest and will tell you anything to make the sale. I HIGHLY suggest going somewhere else to buy a used vehicle!

(Updated)I DO NOT SUGGEST BUYING FROM USED CAR FACTORY.I am 18 years old and I bought my first car from the salesman. I brought all of my high school savings with me and bought a 2005 Land Rover LR3 in August. The salesman swore up and down that Land Rovers are awesome and it would be a perfect car for me. They told me there were no problems and that it runs great! I thought it was a sweet deal. As soon as I drove it off the lot my check engine light came on. I took the car back and was told that it was just an emissions problem. Not even four months later my car is UNDRIVEABLE. I came to find that my Land Rover was used as a parts car by the Used Car Factory. My check engine light was really on because my transmission fluid was leaking into my oil. I took my car to a trusted mechanic that Used Car Factory recommended. The mechanic told me that he saw my car prior to my purchase, and told The Used Car Factory that it WAS UNSAFE TO SELL OR DRIVE!! Very few of my VIN numbers actually match and now I’m left with $7K+ in damages that were not disclosed to me! The damages are major as well, ranging from engine problems to my transmission leaking, my wheel bearings are about to go, faulty tie rods, major suspension issues. I was told that one of the only things that isn’t wrong with my car is there is 80% life in my front brakes. There is no way I caused $7,000 of damages in 4 months! My car is now sitting in my driveway and undriveable. Now I’m left with many questions. Did they take advantage of my lack of knowledge about cars? Were they were more interested in the money? Shouldn’t the top priority be putting a young driver in a safe and reliable vehicle?

Gave us a price added 3000 dollars to the price when we arrived then because we didnt buy it they ran 17 hard inquiries on my girlfriends credit dropping her almost 50 points on her good credit score of 690, down too 643.

Sold me a lemon car. Rusted out oil pan and transmission pan. When I came to pick the car up the windshield was broken and he had me pay for half. Had a brake failure, putting me in heavy danger. Lyle refuses to take any fault for any of it and was extremely rude as a result. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE! SOLD ME A CAR WITH BAD BRAKES AND WILL NOT OWN UP!

Dont believe anything in the description of the vehicle!! Took work off to drive up and buy a vehicle that they said was in excellent condition. After arriving, the vehicle had a major cracked moon roof, was filthy dirty, major dents and huge scratches through out the entire vehicle.They said in the description no noticeable dents or scratches, and that the vehicle was in excellent condition, they also said it was a non smoker who owned it before, it was all lies!
