Its been around as long as I have, since I was a kid. And I have always loved old mom and pops kind of stores. They always treat you like family to. Thats the big plus in my book. And I used to love to build thing when I was capable, and they have got what you need on a shorts notice.

This is the coolest all around “general store” I’ve ever seen. Hardware, locally prepped food, diesel, ethanol-free gas, garden plants, beer on tap, and wonderful people. Nothing but good things to say about this place!

Argo Hardware is local owned and ran by helpful people from the community. This is The best hardware store in Birmingham metro area do not bother with the blue or orange Walmart ripoffs. No reason to go anywhere else first argo hardware always has obscure parts and there prices are usually 20% less than anywhere else and the service is 10 fold above and beyond anywhere else.

You can buy hatchling baby chicks among many other community needed items and the staff is friendly

We go out there to buy our Victor Dog Food. Which is one of the top 5 rated dog foods. Jan who is usually at the register always has a smile when you walk into the store. There is a young man that always comes right away to see if you need help with the dog food. Everybody is so friendly. That’s what I call a 5 star store with 5 star dog food

Surprisingly, they carry Victor, which is on the higher end dog foods and Diamond Large Breed dog food, also a good feed at very reasonable prices. Can only get Victor online from Chewy before I found out about here, very happy about that and they were also so kind to help me pick out some hardware I needed, everyone is super nice and helpful. Will be continuing to buy all my dog food there.

Great service. My pregnant best friend went in to get change to put in the air machine. The sweet man working came out and put air in all 4 tires for us. Will definitely be going there more often!

Glen is always wearing a smile and remembered my name after my first visit. If they don’t have it, he’ll get it for you, and keep it in stock. Their prices are extremely reasonable and with a well stocked store combined with 1st class treatment (compared to the big chain guys), who cares? I’ll buy everything I can from them.
