The Fresh Value Marketplace is not my usual grocery store; however, it is definitely worth a visit. The employees inside this particular grocery store are hands down the nicest, most congenial, and helpful people I have ever encountered. Theyre always so prompt and efficient in their service, and the best part about them is that you can actually see the personalities come through when they speak to you and in the way they handle themselves at work. This alone is a refreshing attribute uncommon in most stores. There are two particular items that I buy at this store only and nowhere else, and they are 12 pack cans of Pepsi products and Ramen noodles. Not only do they have the best price in both items, but they also have the biggest variety anywhere in Trussville. When you enter the store, there are bins by the door filled with dollar value items that are special deals.It would be of great interest to you to check those out as well. Im so thankful that this grocery store is so close to my house. I appreciate the service and the low prices. If you have never ventured out into the store, I encourage you to add the Fresh Value Marketplace to your regular shopping routine

Have nice variety of items, the will custom make you dinner in a pouch. You can pick the veggies you was an the type of meat, an season it too. It was really good.

Friendly local grocery sometime not the best prices but usually very competitive.

Very nice supermarket, everything is always organized well and products are easy to find. The staff is also very friendly & I very rarely have much of a wait to checkout if there is any wait at all. Overall its a great place to shop.My only complaint would be that the parking is less than ideal. Actually the parking lot arrangement makes no sense at all to me, the handicap spots are in the middle instead of the front. I dont use those spots but their location baffles me, either way dont hold your hopes for a close spot. Only other thing Im not crazy about is that their prices are not that great. Some products theyre right on par, but others its common to see 30 to 50 cents higher, plus they tack on an extra 10% at the register before the 10% sales tax is added.Despite those two negatives, their location is excellent & is the primary pull that keeps me coming back. Depending on where you live & how much traffic you feel like dealing with, this market may very well be the best option & most convenient.

I was in line and the service desk just became free they looked at me waiting to move in their line they called a man behind me that is not cool. My son was a loyal shopper i came back and i was dissappointed. 😞

Great small store, I absolutely love seeing their selection of smaller brands to purchase from. I sometimes find it hard to find access to smaller local brands but I tend to find that kind of thing here. Could easily recommend to a friend in town.

We really like the Fresh Market. Price is shown on tags and is cost plus 10%. The reason for 4 stars as opposed to 5 is the are smaller store and dont carry some of our staple items like organic milk. There fruits and vegetables are very good. Their fresh veggies, meat and pick 5 program gets 5 stars.

Oh I love this Value Market!! The cost is reasonable and youre greeted with smiley friendly faces!

Not too keen on the merchandise inside the store...my checkout experience was.. amazing.. my cashier was accommodating, professional and very friendly and made me feel valued.

I love shopping at Fresh Value. The prices are much better than neighboring grocery stores. There is a greater variety of frozen vegetables there at great prices and they have good quality meats. It is an uplifting store to shop in. We love Robin who is one of the managers there. She is so willing to help you if you have a question or need. Even in the midst of the coronovirus situation going on, everyone there seems like family and they are always willing to help you and they go out of their way to help. It is a great place for seniors to shop because of the money that you save!

Our first visit was quite pleasant. We came by around lunch time, and it was not crowded at all. They have good value products at decent prices with several group specials (5 items for $18 sort of thing). Our cashier was informative and didnt mind answering our questions, and even went so far as to let us know that they have a great sale every Tuesday afternoon. I would describe it as a mix of family dollar and piggly wiggly. We look forward to returning to take advantage of their frozen foods and meat specials.

I enjoyed my shopping at Fresh Value Market, the prices was well deserved the trip. The prices were so good, that I made other trip the same day for some the relatives in my family. They had chicken drumsticks for 2.38 for a 5lb. bag. I got five bags for myself then went back to the store and got additional five more bags for the relatives in my family. They also had bags of already cut and washed collard greens for $1.50. I got two bags and took the home. I washed the greens again and put them in freezer bags. The trip to the Fresh Value Market was worth the trip. I told another member of my family and she had me to take her to Fresh Value Market to see for herself the great deals. She didnt believe me until she saw the great deals for herself. She got the last two chicken drumsticks and made calls to other family of the great deals at Fresh Value Market. My cousin ended up getting several items for other members of the family. Now that she knows where Fresh Value Market is located, she will visit the store. Again, it is worthwhile your trip and the people that works in the store are so awesome. They were eager to assist you with finding items that you need.

This grocery store is rather new to our community. Seem to have bargains on sale papers, but I dont really care for the store. Seems like low class grocery store. They charge a percentage above price and taxes. Seems like a rip off to me. I am also particular about my veggies and fruit. Publix is the best grocery store in our area. Love shopping there. Fresh and good specials.

Before I started shopping at Fresh Value Market I could not find a grocery store that carried some of the items I needed for my family, so I had to shop at a grocery store and my local large chain store. But Fresh Value Market has everything I need. Awesome selection in all departments. Their meat department is fabulous!

I always like this store. ALL employees are polite and helpful. The meat cutter has been there since the store opened cuts meat by request when you need something. The prices beat a lot of other places around. My one stop shop.

1st visit there and at first my experience was going great . Their prices will bring you back. But the manager was very rule my sister is 7 months pregnant and can hardly walk so she got a riding cart to shop with so the lady manger follow us to the back of the store and said to her this is for people who cant really walk . so I explain to her my sister was pregnant and really couldnt walk well I guess she didnt believe us .So my sister had to pull up her shirt just to prove she was pregnant .... That is so unacceptable . Then my sister just took the riding cart back and walk around in pain . I wont be back until they correct this and I even thought about contacting Fox 6 to share what happen so it wont happen to others.
