Went to Beau Townsend Nissan in Vandalia, OH to do a test drive and get a feel for a new car. Was not looking to do a one stop shop, but Doug Baker approached me wholeheartedly. Asked what I was looking for and took me in to his office to look at options and to better assess.Doug treated me like family, did not treat me like the average sales man for a cash grab. I was allowed to take my friend on a test drive and was given ample time to come to a conclusion and ultimately became the owner of a 2021 Nissan Altima SR!My experience was hassle free and very welcoming, highly recommend!!! Will keep doing business their along with Doug Baker.

The experience I had leasing my new car at Beau Townsend was refreshing. I had shopped around at over 10+ car dealerships. Beau Townsend was by far the most accommodating and professional. I ultimately chose this dealership because they were upfront and honest about the financing structure of our deal. While other competitors lied about the same exact aspect.I worked with AJ (sales) & Anthony (GSM) and couldnt be more pleased with their customer service. I went an hour out of my way to work with these guys. Additionally, Helen (finance manager) was extremely helpful, understanding, & patient.

Not trustworthyWent with tire loosing psi every day. Expected a nail and patch up for that as it was very small. Technician informed that can’t be patched and insisted on new tires. My tires had regular wear and tear of 35k miles only. They put the spare and charged 40$ for it with plan to invest another 800$ for new set. Went to tirediscounters and they fixed the tire for 25$ by patching it good to go and asked to look for new post 40k miles.. never expected the dealership will make a fool out of me as it was my trusted place since 2013 . After my scheduled service on 26 I m ending relationship with them..

I had a 2018 Explorer...Started with Johnny at Ford and was not happy after driving the new Explorer.Johnny offered to take us over to Nissan (my wife has 2015 Marano)which we like.After driving the 2022 Pathfinder I fell in love with it.It was 8pm at this point, Johnny introduced me to Chuck who bent over backwards to answer questions, and make sure we were happy. My sales associate Cory did an excellent job and I was pleased with the experience that he gave me. What I disliked was that I spent $37K with your company and when they delivered my new car to me, it was not detailed at all. The windows were grimy, there was dirt all over the car. This makes me think that you really do not care about the customer, its all about getting the sale. Blaming younger staff for the delivery is also a fault on management. Why didnt management oversee the delivery process? I would have given a much lower score if it had not been the professionalism shown to me by Cory.

I recently bought a 2018 Rouge and it was the best experience I have ever had while purchasing a car. From start to finish it was 5 star service.First, Robert was an amazing salesman. He wasnt at all pushy but very helpful and eager to help me find the perfect vehicle.Financing was also amazing. She stayed a bit later because she wanted to make sure I go the best deal possible. My tire sensor light came on and stayed on the rest of my 20-mile trip. Intended to take to the dealer the next day. Forgot. Then when I got in to drive it, light was off, however I was still concerned since this had happened 10 or so days before & I called & Tom told me to bring it in and both front tires were low, so I had a gut feeling Id better get them checked out again & Tom checked and one was low and upon further inspection discovered a nail in my tire! They fixed it promptly and I was on my way with peach of mind and much gratitude!

After test driving maybe 5 cars and at different lots and makers we chose a Nissan Rogue. Came home, got online and chatted with someone online. Told them what we wanted, they found 3 at Beau Townsend and sent us the link. They arranged a meeting with a salesperson the next day and he accommodated everything and our text drives. Even provided us with fresh bottles of cold water. WePurchased a vehicle that night and scheduled a follow up the next morning so he could review the cars features. Then scheduled a ziebart appt and made sure I had a loaner for two days. So I must say we had a seamless pleasurable experience. From the Nissan online assistant directing us to BT, to being greeted by the store manager and directed to our salesman (super nice guy! I believe his name was Greg), the finance girls and also the service department we were very pleased.

Went out this morning with the intention of buying a Jeep from another dealer and happened into Beau Townsend Nissan by accident, but am glad I did! Doug Baker helped me get, what I felt, was a very fair price for my trade in and I took home a 2018 Nissan Kicks. I am not a car person, but I am genuinely excited about this purchase. The repair shop kept my car from February 8, 2021 until March 29, 2021. There was never any communication unless I initiated it. I was told that my car had been repaired and I arrived on the February 29 to return the Enterprise renter to be told that my car wasnt ready. I checked the next to Fridays because I was told it would be ready by Wednesday for 2 weeks in a role, when I called on the Thursday or Friday to check.For 2 weeks, I received the same message that it would be ready by Wednesday of the next week.I was called to pick up the car on Monday March 29, 2021. When, I arrived the back up light on the drivers side was cracked. The exact same crack that happened on January 9, 2021, when I was rear ended. I had pictures to prove it. The service ask me to send him a picture of the car from the accident on 1/20/21. They said that they would order a back up light and call my insurance Geico to get them to approve the repair. The service guy said that I could take the car and they would call me to bring the car back when the nack up light that they had to order came in

Took my Nissan Juke in for a coolant and brake flush, received it back with a fresh scratch and chip out of the paint, right by the drivers side door handle. The manager said it mustve been there before and wouldnt take any liability for it, saying it was an old car (its a 2011 with only 35k on it in excellent condition worth $10k).I shouldve taken pictures of the mechanic standing in the customer checkout area without a mask, along with the salesmen walking around with customers (both with masks pulled down around their neck) and reported this place.

DO NOT SHOP HERE-----RIP OFF so I bought a car and an extended warranty and paid alot for what seemed to be a good warranty but when I took my car in 2x they said they found no issues and then the front end was shaking so I called them a 3rd time went in and then they said it wasnt covered anymore they said the warranty time that I paid alot of money for started before I ever owned the car but that wasnt what the salesman said, they are a rip off do yourself a favor and save money and shop elsewhere

The service I received on my new vehicle was great. However, I did not know to pull my vehicle in the garage, so they had a young man go out to the lot and drive it in for me. He was driving a little fast for my preference and squealed my tires in the parking lot. Everyone else was helpful and very friendly. The service was done quickly and at the price I was quoted. I would not buy a car from the lot as when I was looking, the sales men were incredibly unprofessional. They argued in front of me and my children and told me to go down the road to the Ford dealership when I told them the price range I was interested in. I did find a vehicle in my price range (the 2015 Nissan Sentra that you performed maintenance on) at another lot, so I felt in hind sight that the comment was unnecessary. I will return for service on the car, though, as the service department was very professional and courteous, minus the tire squealing. I will just pull my own car into the garage next time.

I just purchased a new 2020 kick. Love the car! My experience wasnt the best but not the worst. My sales person was the BOMB. He was very low pressure & answered my questions. & if he didnt know the answer, he found someone who did. I didnt get the best trade in value, but it was okay. My biggest problem is the service team. My steering wheel isnt straight & I cant use my android auto. They wouldnt even attempt to fix either of my issues. Now Im stuck with two major problems that wont get fixed. Which is extremely frustrating. Definitely wouldnt recommend buying a car here. If you have any issues then they wont get fixed. Best of luck!

Bought my Rogue in June from you guys. While talking with David in service about my radio turning off and back on, he realized I did not have the SD card for the system. My family was introduced at the door which was nice, but the salesperson did not properly protect him nor my family from risk of spreading COVID. He had his nose sticking out of his mask the entire time and half the time his mouth was exposed above his mask. This completely defeats the entire point of the Ohio mandate to wear masks indoors. This needs to be addressed. I also saw multiple employees walking around with their mask on their neck and eating. Sitting alone in a office is one thing, but openly talking while eating without wearing a mask indoors near customers is absolutely disrespectful and unsafe.

DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM BEAU TOWNSEND! I just bought a car from them 2 months ago and after having the car for a month my engine light came on. I took it to them to see what the problem was. They said they didn’t see anything wrong with it. The VERY NEXT DAY I got stranded with my 5 year old son THREE times due to the battery. I assumed the battery needed charged but after the 3rd time of it needing charged I got the battery tested at O’Reilleys and it’s a bad battery. I have owned many cars in my life and I have never ever got a new car with a bad battery. On top of that one of there service workers hung up on me when I asked to talk to a manager. Do yourself a favor and do not buy a car from this horrible dealership.

Listen... Doug & Helen are actual angels. I firmly believe that. First of all, it didnt even seem like Doug was selling us a car. It felt like Doug was our financial advisor and was helping us make a smart, thoughtful decision as we knew if we drove away in a 2020 Murano, that would be our forever car (meaning were going to have this thing for a LONG time!) Im an over-thinker and I like to consider pros and cons in every situation. At one point, Doug left his office and gave us time to talk and make a decision. He wanted to ensure he wasnt pressuring us to make a timely decision. He even asked if we wanted to leave to think about it for a while. Ive NEVER had a car salesperson do this! We of course ended up coming to the decision to purchase and started the process. It was late. It was 8PM. They were closing. I was apologizing profusely for taking so long and Doug continuously told me it was fine and he would stay until midnight if it meant we left happy! Doug then took us over to wait for financing with Helen. When I say this gal is a gem, I mean it! She was so kind, so honest and so helpful! Being that it was so late, she wasnt sure we were going to get an approval right away. We ended up getting one and were happy with the rate and payment. Helen called me the next day to let me know we needed to come back in because she found another $1,000 off rebate and lowered our monthly payment over $30!When we returned, Doug greeted us like family. Helen was amazing and she goofed around with our 3 year old.The staff in the showroom were putting golf balls and let our little guy play with them! I ended up finding a screw in my tire and when staff looked at it, they determined it was a license plate screw and they covered the cost of a new tire!I cant say enough amazing things about this dealership. SHADY BUSINESS HERE...I recommend you drive the extra 20miles and go to JEFF SCHMITT NISSAN!!!The used car sales manager at Beau Townsend Nissan provided a quote that they would buy my used car and that the quote would be good for a couple weeks. When I returned to the dealership a couple weeks later, the manager no longer worked here. However, the new sales manager reviewed the previous offer and said they would honor the same previously provided price/quote.About 30 minutes later, the new sales manager comes in and tells me that he would no longer be honoring the price and instead offers $1,500 below the price he had agreed to 30 minutes earlier (there was no change in condition of the vehicle).My advice to people trying to sell your used vehicle is to do some extra research and visit portals such as NADA Guide, cargurus.com, Edmunds and KBB.com. The only come back that shady sales persons such as the ones at Beau Townsend Nissan will have for you is they will quote something from a report known as MMR (Manheim Market Report) which reflects prices based on vehicles auctioned. If you have a car in great condition, you should not have to worry about this and dont let them negotiate a price based on this MMR value. In short, just walk away from here! Period.The way they conduct business is shady and not professional and wasted my time!!I recommend you drive the extra 20 miles and go to JEFF SCHMITT NISSAN in BEAVERCREEK if you are interested in a Nissan where they are professional and respectful

Our sales guy Justin Jacobs works in the Ford area and he was amazing. I would recommend him to everyone, very nice, quick and knew what he was doing. The guy who showed us everything on the car was also very nice. He knew we were kind of in a hurry and he was quick and showed us everything we needed to know.

Do NOT purchase a used car at Beau Townsend. I purchased a 2013 Ford Escape in May of 2018 so my daughter would have a reliable vehicle for college. After 18 months of chasing a coolant leak (water pump, sensors, etc...) it was determined that coolant could be leaking into the block. I traded the Escape in on October 13, 2019 and received $1,600 less on the trade in than it was valued at. I didnt want to sell the problem to someone else so I took the deal. I accepted that it as just picking the wrong car.The vehicle we purchased on October 13, 2019 was a 2014 Nissan Rogue. The engine light came on week 1. 90 days later, after having a tune up and a coil replaced the car was deemed to be losing compression in the engine. Not safe to drive was what I was told. In fact, the service department informed me that I needed both a new engine AND new transmission. I was expected to be thankful because I only took about $2,000 more of negative equity on the Rogue after 90 days of ownership. In addition, GM Jamie Spencer refused to meet with me in person or offer a personal apology of any kind for selling a vehicle that lasted 90 days (not including time in the shop).As you read through the rest of the reviews that are marked so high, ask yourself if they reflect how this dealership responds when there is a problem like I had. A $13,000 vehicle lasting you 90 days. A measure of good customer service isnt how your treated when things go good, it is measured how you are treated when things dont go good. If youre reading this remember, I traded in one bad luck car that lasted 18 months for another that lasted 90 days and the GM treated me like I was the problem. Owner Larry Walter also ignored my attempts to reach out to him. If you move forward with your used car purchase at Beau Townsend (Nissan or Ford) you cant say you werent warned.The outcome was that I purchased a 2020 Nissan Sentra. Why? Because they gave me just enough on a junk car that I couldnt match it any place else and a brand new car has a Nissan warranty and does not have to be serviced by Beau Townsend. Needless to say... It will be the last time I walk through their doors. Consider yourself warned!
