Bought a Venue and the dealership was pretty good. Nice facility and easygoing staff. Sales are not high pressure and they try to find answers to any questions you could ask. Even technical sprays they will try hard to get you a answer. I have no experience with the service department yet.
Be careful with the service department! I have brought my car in several times and they told me it needed work. When I went to my mechanic he said that the repairs they suggested were not necessary. I brought it in several months before the engine completely blew. I took it to another Hyundai dealership and they said there had been a recall on the engine. The service department at Joseph Airport never told me about the recall, instead they told me my car and my engine needed several thousand dollars worth of repairs. Other dealership has replaced my engine for free, this model of Santa Fe did indeed have a recall, and they gave me a free rental car for the three weeks it took to do the repair. I’m going back to that dealership

Literally the worst place to get your Hyundai car fix. They are so rude.They seem like they always have a attitude.My mom recently took her car up there to get some engine work done on her car. Not even TWO HOURS! After getting the car the engine light popped right back on.When she called to let them know about the light coming back on. They said she will have to pay $125 to have her car hooked up to the machine to see what was wrong with it.Also now the engine light is back flashing. I will not recommend this location.

Id like to give a shout out to Nolan, the Service Manager. My sister-in-laws car broke down in Richmond, IN while traveling to meet me in Columbus, OH from Upstate NY. I had the car towed to Joseph Airport Hyundai and called Nolan to let him know the situation. My SIL had to travel back to St. Louis in a rental car, while we had to return to Upstate NY. The motor had blown to sum it up and he had told me he wasnt sure when they would be able to look at it, but hed do his best to move the process along. The very next day he called to tell me the motor was covered via extended warranty by Hyundai and hed ordered the motor. I let him know that wed be through Vandalia, OH on the 7th of August and asked if he could have it done before then to save everyone a trip. Within a week, he called to let me know that the vehicle was done!! I was shocked and very, very happy because we could pick it up on our way from Upstate NY to St. Louis on the 7th. Nolan went out of his way to make everything go smoothly and didnt give me any unrealistic expectations. Instead, he exceeded them! Thank you, thank you, Thank you! We appreciate it more than you know.

I will be the first to admit I do not leaving negative reviews, and when I do it is pretty warranted. Other than simple maintenance and 1 small recall -which was a very very simple fix my husband and I hadnt used them. Now that being said Ive used them now and my husband for major issues each once. After both experiences I am saddened at the lack of expertise of this dealership.Last year one of our cars a/c wasnt working properly early fall. Still under warranty so we took it to dealer. We were informed they found the leak and repaired it. Didnt need the air again. Fast forward to spring- called the dealer we were out of warranty but they couldnt get us in for 3-4 weeks to look at it. So we checked the charge, and checked other things on our own .- The charge was low and when we looked throughout the car the expansion valve was the problem and their was also still the leak that was present from last year. We replaced the expansion valve and recharged the air runs cold as can be.Meanwhile during the 1 car that was having the ac issues this year was being worked on by us and family members- our other vehicle started acting up. It is newer and definitely under warranty. First call to dealer- service rep was very rude and flat out informed us anything a/c wise wasnt covered under warranty. I knew that it was because of the previous car. So I called back -the next rep said if there was a problem- after providing car mileage, and details and everything it could be covered under warranty, but itd be 3 weeks until they get in. We made the appointment and I explained in great detail what was going on. They made me feel confident they could find the problem. Fast forward 3 weeks to dropping the car off-we dropped it off early as requested was told would be till 5 and then could get car, and if they had any updates theyd call us. We did call at 1 to check on it, and we were told there was nothing wrong we explained the problem again- found out they didnt listen when we said it only occurs while driving, they let it sit at idle at dealer when the problem is driving. Then they told us theyd have someone drive it and try to get it to occur then call us back shortly. Fast forward two hours-no call. We called back as it was close to 4. They said they drove it and the driver got it to do what we had been describing. The tech couldnt get it to do it, but the driver did and they confirmed there was definitely something going on. They had a call into Hyundai and l/m. Then they said they wouldnt have my car done-would be in touch in the morning. At 1130 no call I called, they still hadnt heard back from Hyundai . I called Hyundai directly, explained situation, was assigned case manager, and they confirmed a/c is covered under warranty and service bulletin and it could take 7-10 business days to reach out to me. They said there was nothing wrong and it is fine. Even after all what was described and acknowledgement of there being something wrong now the story is nothing has changed, nothing is wrong now and they werent going to do anything. I demanded for them to fix what the bulletin said and I would pay for it. At this point I am just frustrated, they are fixing it and they wont guarantee itll fix the issue. While I understand that it may not fix the issue, the fact of the matter is they didnt listen to what we were telling them it was doing and when, and they wouldnt even call me back until myself went irate which they didnt charge me additional labor for the part but thats not the point. . I do 100% believe it is what the bulletin says it is, and I will not be taking my car back due to lack of customer service and follow through on more than one occasion.
Bill Houchins was beyond professional and friendly. He answered all my questions, worked hard to get me in the car of my choice and made me feel very comfortable throughout the entire process. It was an excellent experience and I highly recommend Airport Hyundai if you need a new or used car.
I tried to schedule an oil change for my Genesis and was told they were booked for 3 weeks. This might not be the best place to purchase a premium brand like Genesis if you want to get it serviced. I was treated much better at Montgomery Genesis.

I had the misfortune of having my car break down while my son was driving it. Even worse, the engine had failed and needed to be replaced. While the process took time, I was able to work with the service advisor to have an extended warranty honored because of an engine recall several years ago. I felt like the dealership was on my side during the process as they worked with the Hyundai warranty folks. Everyone was very helpful and the work was well done.

Dj in the service department took care of a 2014 Hyundai Sonata we sent in for service. It needed the waste-gate actuator adjusted, which was done properly & then they also took care of a few recalls that were needed. On top of that he let me know of a few things they noticed I’ll have to change like a crack in the serpentine belt, and a tire that needed changed. Meaning they took their time to look over my vehicle & got me together. Very satisfied. Thank you to DJ & the service staff.

We did Not have a very good experience at Joseph airport hyandai! We had pretty much given up on getting a car with the right payment!And the least amount of rollover as possible.We got a message on Facebook messenger from Joseph Airport hyandai that said we could get kbb value plus up to 5000.00 to it.But instead for a car in good condition and serviced on regular basis barely kbb value then knock 1000.00 for service if the car needed it.So that was taking away from the kbb value.We definitely felt like this was false advertising because when confronted about the add thesent we were told that that meant kbb value up to 5000 was all u get!This is definitely not what their message said and was still not true because thats not what they offered! We thought car lots were out to get our business not us trying to get theirs!!Very disappointed!Salesman was great 👍

We bought a new Santa fe in January. My little gas tank door blew off. My husband called in July to get an appointment scheduled and wait until October to hear anything.Finally I get here for what should take 1 minute to replace door. The lady in the service center I would wait for an hour and a half. I am very displeased. I havent had lunch but that woman said an employee would take me for food. Are you seriously thinking Im getting in a car with a strange man bu myself?I will drive to another dealership after this if I need to. Maybe Hyundai should refund my extended warranty I paid for after this

My initial impression was positive.The dalership was enthusiastic to show several vehicles I expressed an interest in, and generally seemed polite.After supplying a counter offer on a vehicle,I received no response. Upon calling two days later to check on my offer I was told the salesperson could not be reached. I ultimately chose to work with a different dealer as I received no response. To be clear, it seems quite rude to simply ignore my offer, even if the answer were no. Would likely not do business again
Had to be the best car buying experience I have ever had. I had recently gone through some financial problems and needed a fresh start as well as a vehicle. I started on their website and met Terri she was amazing answered all my questions quickly and got me started in the right direction by pairing me up with Bob a fantastic guy and a great salesman he made us comfortable and pressured free. Then Todd finished it up with a very affordable payment with nothing down which helped us out and was able to take our new SUV home within a couple hours. I will always buy a vehicle from here fantastic group. Highly recommend.

I recently made my 2nd car purchase on 1/25/20 and I stayed with the same sales rep Abby Robertson she is absolutely amazing and brilliant at her job. Its not about commission but she wants to truly service and help her customers be happy. Im in love my car Im a Hyundai Sonata girl and I wouldnt go anywhere else but here and I would always have Abby as my sales rep. If I could give this rating 10 stars I would. Would take my vehicle here again if it needs serviced by dealer.I do most maintenance myself but if it requires done by dealer then Joseph is my first choice.My 2.4 litre engine failed. This is common with this Hyundai engine unfortunately. Had it towed to dealer and they confirmed engine needed replaced. Hyundai has a lifetime warranty on this engine so no charge to me.I was expecting resistance from either Joseph or Hyundai about replacing engine but it was a very good experience. Engine replaced without any hassle.Only complaint is slow with loaner or rental car. Engine was diagnosed as needing replaced on a Wednesday the 21st, Hyundai approved it the next day on Thursday the 22nd. I should have received loaner car at this point. I did not get loaner car until Monday the 26th. But engine was replaced next day on Tuesday the 27th so only had loaner car for one day when should have had it for almost a week.I recommend Joseph for repairs though.Nolan in the Service Department is great to work with.

Not sure where to start really....This place had a car that I had been looking for for over a year. I was able to pull up and take a few minutes of my time looking over the car before I was greeted by my salesman Justin Rike. Justin was very accommodating and let me take all the time I wanted looking over the car. He wasnt pushy and could tell that I already knew exactly what I was looking for. Getting to take the car out for a drive was a quick and easy process, unlike I have experienced at other dealers. We got back to talk business and everything was buttery smooth and they really do take pride in making the customer feel at home and comfortable.Everything was fast and painless, They had me out the door in my new car in a matter of a couple hours. Very disappointed in Hyundai claim response. The dealership did a good job covering for Hyundai. Our car had the peeling paint problem that all white Hyundai cars seem to have. The dealership did the repair after Hyundai said no and was denied by the extended warranty company. I will recommend the dealership, but will not buy a Hyundai again.

I am very dissatisfied with my service experience here. I called a week in advance to set up a 1:30 apt to have multiple issues looked at on my Sonata I bought here. Over the phone I was told the apt should take 30 min. Upon dropping my car off on time I was told it will take 60-90 minutes. 2 and a half hours later my car was done and the issues that I had come in for were not fixed because parts needed to be ordered despite me explaining over the phone what needed fixing when making the apt. They fixed a recall that I was unaware of which to save all us time could have been fixed upon bringing my car back to have the electronic issue fixed they needed parts for. At no time during the time I was there was I provided an update on time duration or status of my car until I enquired after 2 hrs. The car buying experience 2 years ago was good and the warranty covered the issues with my car only having 37,000 miles but the service department experience was lackluster. I live an hr from the dealership so the options to pass my time were nill.
Wonderful staff, complementary coffee, a great warranty plan, and cars fit for the customer. When I first walked in here I was greeted and showed around. They asked me what I wanted in a car. Before I knew it the conversation switched to test driving. A little while later I made the first big purchase of my life at 19 and have since never regretted it. The service for my car is relatively affordable with great service, a nice waiting area, and timely mechanics. Highly recommended if you like Hyundais. Great gas mileage and wonderful onboard media device integration.
