I highly do not recommend anyone to this place .. all there cars are LEMONS!! I purchased a Car here not even a month later the check engine light comes on I paid the money to get it fixed and a week later the check engine light was right back on I took it back up there to Marty he said it will run me a couple more hundred dollars to get it fixed! Which is crazy because I just paid them to fix it the first time. I didn’t pay to get absolutely NOTHING else fixed on that car idc if smoke was coming from it. They’re crooks and only after your MONEY!! Please find something better like I did NOW they can have there car back ;) and I’m pretty sure they going to put it back on the lot KNOWING it’s useless

I’m Reading these comments and am very humored. First and foremost, PAY YOUR PAYMENT. Most of these comments are about cars being shut off for non payment. As someone who has gotten 4 cars from them, I can PROMISE YOU that in those papers (the ones everyone rushes through because you’re in a hurry to leave) that it states there is a passtime device in the car. And that failure to pay WILL result in shut off. Your signature is there. So I have no sympathy for someone complaining about the paper they signed. I understand times are tough, but as a local small business, they have bills just like the rest of us. Would you accept non payments when running a business? Didn’t think so. Secondly, this is a USED CAR DEALERSHIP. I’m not sure if no one is aware of what used means, but it means USED. not new, not perfect, nothing. USED. Anytime you buy a item from consignment or a used place, there CAN AND WILL be issues. But from experience I can say without a doubt these people will work with you. There’s a 1000 mile or 1 month warranty. I’ve had issues outside of the warranty and they’ve helped me. If you’re good to them, they’re good to you. Calling and complaining, cussing them out, being rude, anything like that.. who wants to help you??!! Do good to them, they’ll do good to you. They’re humans just like the rest of us. They won’t tolerate disrespect as you wouldn’t expect yourself or your mother or father to be either. They’re good people, with used cars, trying to make a living, and helping other people who don’t have the best credit or financial situation. Marty, Heather, Helen, and Matt have gone above and beyond for 3 years for me now. Without them, I would not have a car. I’m gracious and thankful for them and what they’ve done for me. If you can’t make your payments, don’t go. Also, don’t take your tax check or stimulus payment there expecting to make 1-3 payments and be done because it’s a waste of your time and money and their time and money. Make your payments, pay your insurance, and if you have issues.. BE HONEST. the rest will fall into place. If you can’t do that, maybe try enterprise or hertz. They’ve got some good rental cars that won’t waste time or money for those who can’t make payments for long periods of time. But whatever you do, quit bashing them as if they are the problem. 🙄🤦🏼‍♂️

I brought a SUV from them they was nice persuading people I went for one SUV they talked me into getting some else. When I purchase the vehicle it was having issues by my work schedule I sent my cousin with the SUV to take it up there to get checked, cause Marty kept saying bring it.. Marty talked so hateful to my cousin about why she driving my vehicle she not on my insurance just rude. Marty had the shop next to them check the vehicle out he claimed they couldnt find no issue long story short the vehicle put me down.. I was told I could get another vehicle I waited till I got more money saved up now they coming with Marty wont let me purchase another vehicle cause I put so many miles on the SUV.. Half of the vehicle out there have high mileage, hell all of e m.. So I dont recommend no one to purchase from these rip offs.

DO NOT BUY FROM HERE! I promise you it is much easier and better to just wait it out for your credit to get better. My mom bought a car from here super over priced within the first month the car was not starting up come to find out the water pump was broken! Not only was the water pump broken the starter started to mess up within the first 2 weeks of having the car and they refused to acknowledge that their mechanics did a half job. Because of Covid-19 my mother was out of work and they cut her car off because she could not afford insurance DURING A DAMN PANDEMIC!!! Calling her at 10 am to tell her she had 4 hours to get the money to pay for her insurance! Just so evil! Yeah this place is TERRIBLE, cars are TERRIBLE!!!

.My friend got a 2008 Saturn Vue from them to help me get back and forth to work so I can get to work and get me a place to live because right now I was living in that car. This morning the day the first payment is due the car dies going down the interstate she has it towed to them and because she let me drive they will not fix the car and give it back to her. I cant believe Marty and all the employees at Emc Auto Sales treated people who are trying to make a living and find a place like this. I hope the owner of the car lot knows how people are treated by his employees.

I’ve learned that you can’t please everyone, I brought a nice suburban from Marty and the lady’s at emc, yes the truck had some issues and they were there 100% to make sure issue was fixed, with no issues Marty let me switch out to a newer suburban than I originally had, he showed me the work order and everything that was done to the vehicle. When buying a used car things happen an it’s not the dealers fault. I bought 3 cars from them honestly and never had any issues, some of u guys write reviews after your vehicle had been repo, I would be mad too.

DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM HERE!!!! It all looks good in the beginning but they do not sell reliable cars THEY ARE LEMONS!!! I purchased a car and not even two days later the car was shuttering when I accelerated. Another week and a half and the battery light came on while driving I pulled over to Firestone for them to check it out. Come to find out the car had a used engine that had been installed incorrectly and was causing the pulley to be thrown off track. * with a used engine I have no clue as to how many miles are actually on the vehicle. I also came to find out that the car had been in an accident, which was not disclosed to me when I purchased the car. Once I tried to crank the car to leave Firestone it would not start. I had the car towed back to EMC and asked for my downpayment back as I had not had the vehicle long enough for the first payment to be due and already having all these issues. I also was sold the car under false pretenses. I contacted a lawyer who sent them a letter asking for my downpayment back because they did not disclose full information on the vehicle before selling it. EMC has refused to respond to the letter so I will now have to proceed with filling a claim in court. I purchased the vehicle because I was 3 days away from having my third child and needed a vehicle that my whole family could fit in. Now I am without a vehicle and the money I spent on the downpayment. Don’t put yourself through this it’s not worth it they don’t care about there customers just getting over on people.

This is the sixth car that I had bought from EMC auto sales we have been kind and courteous to me have been over backwards to help me as long as you’re upfront with them and tell them how it really is they will work with you if not it’s gonna be like any other business they have to follow procedures I have always had pretty good fortunes with my purchases I still have the first vehicle I’ve bought from them back in 2016 and another one that I had bought in 2017 and I just bought one on October 10, 2020 they have given me plenty of latitude when I hit some hard times you cannot blame them for their service if you do not pay that is on you and I will probably come and purchase another one when in need

Don’t buy from here! Twice the GPS that they put on the car has malfunctioned to the point where it won’t start! I have a job and stuff to do I have been stranded twice with my job on the line. The first time I had to wait DAYS for my car to be fixed!!!!! Then I had to pay someone to take me to actually take me to the dealership to pick up the car instead of them bringing it back to me like they said they would. It happened again today! Today is Saturday and they are saying they can’t send anyone out until Monday Morning. And it’s 6 days until Christmas when I need to work as well as get things done! My job is now on the line through no fault of my own but because the equipment they put in the car is faulty.

A family member put me on and I got exactly what I needed for a reasonable price and I had one lil minor issue and theyre willing to fix my car with a rental to drive but the day I chose to bring my car in they where down to there last car on the lot there nice people who works with you as long as you pay your bill I keep mines paid up a month ahead to avoid the cut off problem

Bought a car from them in April 2020 I have taken the car there every other month for a problem at first they where good and now since the warranty out they have changed up told them my check engine light and traction light is on and now oil light blinking they wanted me to wait two weeks to get it checked...Marty doesnt return calls and he rudely brushes you they good when there getting your money..after that your nothing.....

Currently in a loan with them. I will never in my life work with this company again. I’m not going to say all of them have bad customer service but Helen is horrible. She has no desire to help anyone.They turn your car off after ONE day of being late. (They have ignition stoppers on your car)They changed their rules to if you’re late on a payment you have to pay at least half of your payment to get your car turned back on and it’s only good for a week. If you are a car company that helps others who are in tight situations why make things harder? They are not helping or understanding.They help you get into a car though! Please don’t be stupid like myself and work with them. There’s other places WITHOUT ignition stoppers who gives you a month to catch up and with better customer service.My husbands grandmother was in the hospital from a stroke and because of their rules we weren’t able to visit. I’ve had to walk my kids to the store miles away multiple times to feed them because they weren’t at all understanding.You can take that $1000/down and go to those places. This is not the one..

Without EMC I would not have a vehicle. We have terrible credit but pay our bills for the most important bills. February 2017 was a terrible month for us and we a family of 5 went 6 weeks with no car. I stumbled upon the website for EMC after weeks of desperate rejections and luckily Marty was able to help us get into a Honda Odyssey. They have also gone above and beyond to fix things that come from normal age of a extended mileage vehicle. I cannot sing the praises of this business enough and how grateful my family is for the opportunity to be mobile!! Don’t expect a miracle without putting in the work. The customer service started off great he got me in and out of the dealership quick. Everything was going good until a month later the car the broke down. I had to pay a $70 shop fee to get the car diagnosed. I paid the fee. They told me what was wrong with the car and i told them i will pay the following week. When i went to go pay to pick the car up they said they haven’t worked on it because they was waiting on me to pay. I told him i would come get the car and have it worked on myself but i never went and picked the car up. I called to take to talk about purchasing again the person that person that answered the phone was hateful and stated that they will never do business with me again even though i never missed a payment.

First let me start off by saying everyones experience is different. Cars are different and some cars last a lot longer then others. EMC AUTO SALES is a good place if you have bad credit it doesnt matter they get you in something.However needless to say, I was recommended to EMC Auto by a friend, her car 3 months later is doing well from what she told me. My car on the other hand after only having it for 1 month the check engine light came on. I shrugged it off, I mean I have seen check engine lights come on from the Honda dealership so its not that big of a deal, plus the cars are used.I took my jeep to the auto zone to have them diagnose it, it turned out to be something minor. Now here I am 2 months and a couple of days into having this vehicle and I cant go 10 miles without the car overheating and cutting off. Yea yea that being said when I told Martis son cant remember his name I really dont care and the other lady, there was no surprise look on their face that i have only had my jeep for 2 months and its already trash. I was told that they emc auto would charge $65 to look at it, and then if they had to fix it they would just add it to my car payment.I just want to say, I understand you guys have a hustle we all have one, but at the end of the day you have single moms people who trust in you to put them in something reliable it doesnt have to be perfect because obviously we don t have perfect money and the cars are used. You all know up front before you sale these cars what the issue is, so dont use your systems or whatever it is that you do to turn check engine lights off, and fix the problem temporarily to get it out of your shop.Nothing was wrong with my friends car so Im not going to say its all bad, but from the looks of things and i probably should have read the reviews before I chose to come, I am not the first person you all have chosen to screw over.

I have nothing but good things to say about this company. I bought my 08 chevy impala in august. PRISTINE CONDITION. She still runs amazing. Ive had no issues with this company at all. They offer coupons for your 1st 7 oil changes(free) and your next years inspection is free as well. Beauty(my car) had less than 138,000 miles when I bought her. The customer service was amazing. They helped me through the entire car buying process, as I was unsure what vehicle I wanted to purchase. I would recommend them again and again and again. I will say this. when buying a car, take it for a decent test drive. Dont leave it to chance. Get up to highway speeds, take sharp corners. Test all the lights. Let it idle. And bring a mechanic if youre that worried. All in all, this is a great place to buy a car from.

Horrible place, I wish I saved the down payment and went thru DriveTime or something. Almost all the cars have something wrong with them. I have had multiple things wrong with my car every other month I’ve almost spent almost 1000 on repairs. Every time you have to go get the car fix they charge 70 dollars before they know what’s wrong with it. This time I was scammed because they could fix what’s wrong my car, when they’ve had it multiple days. They don’t give refunds for anything. One time other time I got the car fix they told me a price to get the car fix, when they finally fixed it and I went to pick up the car it was now 100 more than what they told me.so I ended up paying almost 500$. My advice to anyone thinking about getting a car here, don’t. You’re better off saving 1000 down payment and go thru a car loan. I promise that something will be wrong with the car you get in the next month if that. Most of all the cars are wayyyyyyyy over priced, and this is the second car I’ve gotten from them they don’t last at all

This place will work with you and your down payment. I had the worst experience of life I will never buy another car from them or refer anyone to this company they sold me a car with transmission issues and the car had been involved in 3 accidents although the car fax showed none. I was told that they do not have to tell you the vehicle has been involved in an accident unless it was a major one unacceptable. No one would let me trade the car not even the dealer that sold me the car and all their cars have high mileage and they never reported the credit bureau that I made all of my payments on time this is the worst company ever.

I am a repeat customer and I no longer recommend them. I am financing a 2011 Dodge Avenger since Saturday 11/3/18. After driving off of the lot, not even 30 mins later, I discover the car needs rotors, brakes and a wheel alignment. My husband drove the car (hes a mechanic) and he called me to tell me the steering wheel was shaking badly and the car kept drifting to the left. Now I test drove the car and everything seemed ok. Only drove for 10 minutes at 45mph. There wouldve been no way for me to know this in that short period of time and driving at that speed. I called Marty and his son Matthew kept fielding the calls. Told me I had to pay a $100 deductible for them to look at it. I said I just drove off the lot their response??!!?? Those are the rules. Terrible business practice. I am convinced they dont service their cars prior to putting them out on the lot. I came to them because I DID have a positive first experience. I am not one of their disgruntled customers whos mad because they turned my car off because I didnt pay the note. I pay before hand, they wanted my business. I regret coming back to them. I urge anyone reading this review to look elsewhere, they dont value their good customers.

Over all it is easy to get a car from this lot.. the used cars is Over priced, the GPS they have programmed (which cuts the car off after the 3rd day of your payment), but what they will do is let you pay half your payment and that gives you a week to pay the rest, you will just have to hear the GPS beeping noise for a few seconds.I have a 2014 Chevy impala and the car havent had any issues and Im greatful, I referred a friend and his impala messed up in 3months, transmission. But since he referred 10ppl they title was his, but the car was trash. They know when they have bad and good cars, they not totally honest with they sells.But Marty and Matt are my favorite ppl to talk to

This is the worst car lot. I wouldnt recommend anyone else buy a car from here. I have not had the car a full 6 months and I repaired almost all the of the parts. And still EMC wanted a car payment. Now the car needs a engine when that was the problem the whole time there mechanics were fixing parts that didnt need replaced so I can come back and kept giving them money. In all I have paid about 2000. Now they do not want to give me another car or the money I gave them. Chris and and Jack were two very disrespectful employees and told me to get out. They are the worst. Go somewhere else.

Wrecked my car and was referred to this place. Drove off the lot the same way with a Cobalt with low miles. 2 weeks later the key started gettin stuck in the ignition causing the car lights and radio to stay on and die over time. Called Marty and he said bring it up and I can look at it. Took it there they put WD40 on the ignition switch. Drove down the road and back and the key came right out. 10 min later I went to get gas and the key was yet stuck again. I called right back and took it right back. Come to find out it was a wiring issue which had to have happened before I bought the car. Since then nothing has happened and I’ve had the car since May. Recommended them to another friend.

However, it seems that they are never there when there are other important business matter that need to be taken care of besides a sale. This dealership is by far the worst dealership to do any type of business with. Worst customer service i have ever dealt with. ive had a jeep i got from him for only 4 months and it is breaking down and they are very hard to work with. i work and i tried scheduling an appt. to have my car looked at and they say they are booked because they have already seen 2 people.... but they deal with over 500 people. he will sell you anything to make a buck.!

DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE. They place a gps device in your car which cuts the car off if you dont make payment or if your insurance company is late sending them a declaration page stating that you have insurance, which you have no control over. You could be anywhere and not even realize your car has been cut off due to no fault of your own. This very thing happen to me and I was beyond infuriated. What happens for those people who work late or those people who dont realize their car is off before the place closes.? What are those people to do? This place is not worth it. Go somewhere else with newer cars that will actually be worth fixing should you get in an accident.

Please do not get a car from this place I knew it was too easy to get in a car here, my 30 day tags runs out today and the dealer does not have my tags or registration ready putting me at a lost to get pulled over and getting a ticket my car is also how I pay for my car because I am a delivery driver and how I make the money to pay my car note every two weeks so this has really held me back for a lot of things take your money eles where and go to someone more organized!!!!

And Mark wants to charge me $75 for them to pick up from my home, plus an additional $1500 to rebuild the transmission and still make a car payment!! They are crazy! Very bad customer service I bought a car from them and from day one it keep breaking down and call them they would come get it and keep it for weeks and when you call about it they get rude like you are bothering them then kept telling them something was wrong with motor didnt sound right they said well its over 10 years old cars do that I was wow but anything motor did finally got out and they said they would come get it which they kept the car more than I did and called them 3 weeks later only for them to tell me they are keeping the car cause the repairs are over 2500.00 and its for the best they are the worst car place I have ever seen do not go to EMC Auto unless you like to give away money to crooks
