I eat the prepared foods here EVERY day... and 5 out of 7 are terrific and I know its because of the amazing lady who is always visibly taking care of that area. I struggle with eating enough but not on her days..and my budget of $6 is almost $30 some days because of her. The food is ALWAYS so good on her days AND I am eager to simply because I trust it will be good.. keep the vegan dressing and the vegan sweet potato casserole..even try new foods too.Keep up the yummy standards and best presentation. 👍💕 some of us wont eat at all when food is not appealing.

I love this Whole Foods in West Hartford. Everything I need, and then some in one place. I need keto/paleo friendly options and their store is full of them. Every cheese you could imagine, the bakery is full every time I come here, so is the prepared foods section. Their freshly made peanut butter is so much better than any other peanut butter in my opinion. Make sure if you have amazon prime you scan it at the register to get your savings.

What a mess…the store was a jumble, no prepackaged cupcakes (going into the Halloween weekend), their fruit salad platters are from a supplier now (not made in-house) and even though the sell by date was 11/4 (6 days from today) all of the melon looked half rotted and mushy. Amazon has “optimized” a once great grocery chain into mid-range mediocracy.

Service with a smile is so important these days. Ran in and picked up a cheese cake for home on Saturday. Young woman in the bakery area was so friendly and helpful when I couldn’t find the one I was looking for. Unfortunately I didn’t get her name.

Whole Foods Market is one of my favorite places to shop. Particularly for clean and organic items. I enjoy the prepared foods and access to things that have a lotof health benefits. It is also an excellent place for me to grab a sensible lunch, snack, and a sweet treat!

Use to be My favorite shopping spot, but not the same since Amazon took over, use to have top of the line products now it seems its turning into a Walmart type of store. Quality and priority from decision makers is lacked. This is not Whole Foods Store any more. I dont even purchase fresh vegetables and fruits to much from there anymore because the quality is poor. Now I go to Highland Park Market.

Although, Amazon has taken over WholeFoods,it’s still the place to get good quality produce and meats.Great flowers and hard to find items!

As the store employee at the prepared food counter was having a non work related conversation with another individual, I waited a while then left and returned. The employee was still having this long conversation. As I tried to inquire as to when the rotisserie chicken will be available a rather harsh reply was given, we are short of staff.. No time to answer question but plenty of time to talk...

Bakery review.The bakery here is always incredible. I had an amazing cheesecake for my birthday. Amazing cupcakes for the kids. Incredible fruit tarts to choose from. And to top it all off you know you’re getting really good ingredients.You can’t go wrong for a quick sweet tooth remediation, or for larger scale desert requirement events.

Awesome shop foods you cant find elsewhere. A must stop.

Everybody that works there is so nice, always helpful, super nice, clean store, always busy, always fresh and great food I can eat for lunch, Im a contractor so I eat on the fly, and all there food that is prepared is amazing.

Great selection of items. The biggest Whole Foods around. Plenty of parking with some underground parking. The staff are very friendly. Store is clean. We would recommend this place if you are in the area. 4 out of 5 because of the rude customers which Whole Foods can’t control.

Overall good quality and products. Some slide in selection, availability and freshness since Amazon took over, but still a good place for groceries.

Once upon a time, whole foods had the produce that one could only dream of finding in a mere supermarket. But those days are gone. The lemons this week were hard and gave precious little juice. I could go on... Their variety of kefir flavors and suja juice is what held them at 4 stars.

I purchased tres leches piece of cake did not enjoy it was very very dry. So disappointed I expected better from Whole Foods

Quality produce and a variety of unique food you cannot get anywhere else. Spend the money now or spend it later in life on medical bills after shopping at low quality food stores.

This is the place to be. But I would like to see a Publix supermarket. Where shopping is (truely) an experience. Whole foods is still good but five, six years ago the atmosphere was exhilarating. Now its more exhausting. I hear their delivery service is top notch. Whole Foods will always be my first choice...PUBLIX.

I love that there’s a grocery store near blue back, so there’s a place to stroll and spend time after eating at restaurants or walking around. Been here over 10+ times and have had generally a decent experience in terms of customer service. The bakery stands out since they usually help me out right away and their selection is so tempting and delicious looking. Yesterday though I had a bad experience with someone who works there which brings my review from what would have been a 4-5 star to a 2 star. At the check out, the associate packing my things wanted me to put my whole order back myself when I realized I didn’t have my phone to complete the payment. Haven’t been to any store that asks that of the customers. Isn’t it his job working there to do that? I’m already disappointed to begin with when I spent so much time shopping to realize that I can’t finish paying when I didn’t have my phone, and he has the guts to tell me to put everything back? And when I tried to use my friends phone to scan/pay, he said oh I guess that works too, if you remember your password. Who says that? That guy had an attitude, I hope they work on customer service more because it doesn’t feel good as a customer to feel treated like a worker and have to deal with their attitude at the same time. Hope I don’t have that kind of interaction there again.

Over price for everything, I bought something off the prepared food section, I just had a scoop of rice, vegetables and orange chicken and it was $10 and some change, I wont be buying anything else off the prepare food section anymore.

Just moved to the area, 2nd time there. Food is unbelievably good! Their were more people working at whole foods than customers in the store. Almost everyone I saw were on their phones, and the ones not on their phones were huddled in small groups talking.The cashier was too busy on her phone. I didnt like being ignored. The people behind the counters and the buffet guy were very nice and not on their phones.

Its whole foods. High prices for stuff you wont find at a normal chain grocery store, but you can absolutely find the same stuff at smaller stores for less.

2-stars for being a decent-enough chain grocery store with good customer service (despite some fraudulently pretentious pricing), but major demarcations for disingenuously masquerading as an eco-conscious brand with shelves of plastic wrapped and plastic encased store-packaged products... perhaps not the particular responsibility of the specific location, but as an Amazon-owned company that promotes itself as ecologically-guided, they fail the smell-test knowing that recyclable (or not), that plastic is not being recycled!Step up and lead, Mackey (et al)!

I havent been back here for a while because of their attitude with the coronavirus at the store I have been visiting the Glastonbury one instead this experience was much improved and they were not arrogant or condescending like my previous experience had been so much better this time around

Very busy and the aisles are pretty narrow. But the line went quickly and the employee facilitating which lane to go to was quick and helpful.

Not all wholefoods is the same. Went to pick up my holiday orders Christmas eve online not realizing west hartford has a stricter check out policy than glastonbury where I bought my last holiday orders. Cameron at customer service was great and patiently listened and resolved my problems. The 5 stars is for Cameron. Happy holidays.

I love this market, i dont do any major household shopping hear because its rather pricey. If i go in i always find some delectable treats.

Id give them 5 stars if their stockers didnt seem so indifferent to acknowledging that customers are around them.

Good store with all the choices needed. Very crowded though. I came back positive with covid four days after visiting and highly suspect it was because of the crowd here. There were no crowd control measures in place.

I love the seafood dept, cheese dept and, love the butcher dept . Once you try the chopper you can never go anywhere else

The store is fine in the quality is high but the prices are just too high. With a little bit of work you could probably find cheaper somewhere else. To be honest I am a Stew Leonards fan. When it comes to fresh fruits and vegetables and Quality Meats and fish, I think Stew is Superior.

This whole foods was great! They had a good variety of goods and a lot more variety of local made baked goods. I was excited when I got there and found the whole foods made peanut butter and they had other variations as well. The workers where kind and cheerful people. Such a good environment to shop in. Some of the managers here are extraordinarily good -- Joey really stands out. Smart, fast, friendly and professional. He knows how to roll up his sleeves and get the job done quickly. I hope he sticks around. The produce people are super smart and can give very good advice about the produce, and whoever *chooses* the produce definitely gets five stars. Cynthia in Whole Body has an amazing breadth of knowledge and has steered me toward good products repeatedly. Alec at the coffee and cheese counters is efficient, reliable, and friendly.

Amazon strikes again! $6.99 lb for turkey breast the week before Thanksgiving. $20 for a 2.5 turkey breast. Criminal. Shameful during the pandemic. Stop & Shop was charging .99 lb for organic whole turkey per lb and $3.99 for breast on the same day. If I only knew that before I went shopping here. The days of shopping at Whole Foods before the holidays is over. It is gouge-city--far worse than before Amazon ownership.

Better than I had anticipated with the two gentlemen in the fish department being extremely attentive and helpful.

I dont get the hype. Yes lots of organic choices but in overall very limited selection, high costs,, extremely long lines and snooty attitudes of both the customers and workers is off putting.

When you are looking for something hard to find theres a great chance you will find it at Whole Foods. On this visit I was able to find the King Arthurs white whole wheat flour I could not find anywhere else

Love finding environment friendly everyday items

Store has gone downhill. Dirty. Shelves, meats, and produce are all poorly displayed. Front end of the store is filthy with grungy delivery and drive up materials everywhere. Even see staff sitting up in front of the store with their masks half on with their noses hanging out. Truly sad at the conditions of this store.

So much selection & incredible staff with great customer service. Just used their curbside pickup which was ready in less than an hour of me putting in the order. Saves time & stress. So thankful!

These are good stores but there are way too few of them. There are better or healthier options here than say Stop & Shop or Big Y. You will spend more, much more but you will find better quality. Do your homework before buying vitamins or health products. Many items are not legit.

Its whole foods, I only only shop here because free delivery with Amazon prime.

The staff are incredible. I live in Avon and very rarely go over the mountain if I don’t have too. It reminded me of Fresh Market Avon. I definitely would make the drive again. My only complaint is there were not many cashiers on duty. The bakery and the deli top-notch. Keep up the good work!!!!

As i shopped today for my family i decided to get some pizza. the nice young man, chris (prep foods), helped me AND saved me money! he informed me that since i was a prime member, the plain pizza was only $6.00 per pie. i was easily abled to purchase several for my family and give one to my neighbor. chris was helpful and i sure will return to have chris help me in the future. CHRIS IS A KEEPER!!!!

This place is beyond expensive! I need to pull out a second mortgage just to shop here, but I do shop here because of the quality of everything! The customer service is impeccable and. Went tonight and was beyond impressed with Jay at register 1 and the woman with the beautiful eyes and tattoos who was helping bag our items. They BOTH deserve recognition and a raise. Those are the faces you want representing your company! I pay not only for quality but for quality SERVICE. I will still work a second job just to grocery shop there. Keep up the amazing work. Ps please please stock up on napkins (thats my only complaint lol) there never is any when I go.

I was looking for diary free pudding, I ask the people who worked in grocery about the item, they pointed me to the dairy department, they said, they didnt carry it. The dairy department had almond chocolate pudding. When I google the item look and behold it listed whole foods carry it but I guess false advertising

My family shops here regularly. Its a nice store, always clean, good overall selections, friendly service, my only gripe is the size of this place. Needs to be bigger. It can get VERY crowed, to the point where you cant move because the checkout area gets so packed. It doesnt happen that frequently so it doesnt turn me off from coming back.

Great selection, especially if you are looking for healthy options. Prices are not the cheapest but you pay a premium for a better product.The premade foods and salad bar are some of the best in Connecticut. They also offer a lot of vegan options in grocery and bakery goods.The only downside can be the parking during peak hours. The lot can become very congested and hard to navigate due to the layout and location.If you are in the area its worth stopping in.

Somehow this whole Foods is next level and Im usually directed to the other Whole Foods Via funds, the dry-aged meat tho🤗 aside from the privileged stink eye, i was pretty happy! look forward to the Avon whole foods 🤭

This Wholefoods on Raymond road is great. Prices are comparable for the area. Staff is extremely knowledgeable in the products they offer. Wish they had more parking and patrons were nicer.

Its difficult to find good help these days in CT. Thats evident by shopping here. Ive noticed the quality of staff has decreased to the point its rivaling discount stores in terms of helpfulness and urgency. Cashiers arent very friendly anymore, theyre not efficient, and theyre not engaged with the shopper (theyre engaged, however, with their partner who is supposed to be bagging).We love the hot food bar and the salad bar. I love the pizza. We find good products here, but can find many of them on Amazon or at Costco for much less. Be that as it may, this is a good place to grab an Amazon product if you dont want to wait the 24-48 hours for shipment (if they can find the keys to the display).Decidedly average shopping experience now...it used to be outstanding. I thought Amazons purchase of WF was going to retain high quality hiring.

Love going here for all your organic needs. Their products are just as good if not better than the name brands. Excellent selection of fresh produce, butchers shop, and seafood.

My husband was there this morning and unfortunately, they were letting too many people in the store at one time. He also said that some shoppers couldn’t respect the six feet apart rule. He had to ask a couple people to step away as they got too close. I wish Whole Foods would limit the number of people let in at one time to keep their shoppers safe!

Make sure your reserves of patience are topped off before you go. Shopping here is exhausting. Never enough checkers to keep up with the crowds. Prepare to do a ton of bobbing and weaving around the more important shoppers than you.
