Allen was killing it today!! It was a busy Buckeye football day and Kroger’s was hopping! Allen was working the self checkout and showed the most impressive patience with each and every customer. I mean, he never stopped moving between self checkout registers, was so pleasant and helpful to every customer (even the not so nice ones!). I commend him for his hard work and am grateful for his amazing work ethic and attitude. Give this guy a raise!

I go here to buy lunch every once in a while and they have some hidden treasures throughout the store. I really appreciate the table area outside where I can eat lunch in the shade instead of the hot car. I was in heaven when I first discovered it! I wish their indoor dining area was open but Bc of Covid I can understand. And I’m not trying to complain, the outdoor area is very nice too! :)

This is the worst service ever! This is the second time I tried Kroger pick up at the Maxtown Westerville location. The same thing happened again. I ordered groceries this morning at 7 AM for a pick up time of 6 to 7 PM I got to the store and received a text saying that my order wouldn’t be ready until 7 to 8 that evening. I turned around went home and then came back to the store at 8 o’clock, called into the store so they would bring the groceries out and the employee told me that they won’t have my order ready today and that somebody should’ve called me. This is ridiculous and I will never use Kroger pick up again. I had them cancel my order and I’m done with this service!🤬

Great staff at the bakery!! :) This extremely pleasant lady at the bakery named Nikki helped me out when I was in a bit of a rush. I said if I gave you guys my order now...could I pick up a custom decorated cake in about an hour and a half? To which she replied with a big lovely smile I can do that right now if you find one you like over there! Shes awesome!! I luckily found the flavor of cake I wanted and she decorated it beautifully. She was finished within minutes! I am sure that they cannot always help customers that quickly because some days are busier than others--but I just wanted to make sure that I made people aware of the great customer service over there at the Maxtown Crossing Krogers. Thank you again for the outstanding great service. Busy single moms (and most moms) can have crazy busy schedules and every little bit of kindness really helps. :) oh! And the cake was delicious also of course!

Large store with a wide selection of food and other merchandise. I like the floral and houseware shops for home or gifts. Kroger carries several items I cannot find elsewhere so this store is a regular stop for me. Its frequently crowded but plenty of checkout lanes always open.

They wouldnt let me buy beer even though Im over 21 because my license was a little expired, never had that happen anywhere before, including other Krogers, actual bars and other states.

Sunday morning and only 3 regular lanes open??

Around 1-2pm today, I went into this Kroger with my wife.After looking around the store, the toy aisle and the end caps, and happened to notice a cart with boxes in the middle of the aisles. I tried to pick up and sort through 1 of 3 OPEN boxes of merchandise (Mattel Hotwheels) from this cart that was on the sales floor. A worker approached me and my wife and rudely and condescendingly asked “Excuse me, me I help you?!” to which I replied “No, I’m just looking for some to buy, I collect these.”At this point you could see his visible frustration and he replied again: “YEAH, we don’t really allow customers to do that here.”So I asked: “These boxes are open and on this cart, Which is on the sales floor. I am I paying customer - are these, or are these not for sale?”He rudely looked at me without saying a word and then took the box out of my hands! He repeated “we don’t let customers do that here.”There were (3) boxes I was willing to look through and make purchases from. I could have potentially bought all three boxes. He rudely turned me away as if he were offended I tried to sort through them. I had not left anything anywhere, and was even going to offer to put the rest away before he rudely took one of the boxes from my hands.I fail to see how it is this employee’s job to decide what I choose to spend my money on if the items are in an open box on the sales floor.He was a man around 6ft and had brown hair. Looked as if he were a “supervisor,” but I sure wish he knew the rules of retail and customer service. Sadly disappointed in the behavior of this employee.

I feel like I was being discriminated at my local Kroger store in this pandemic because I am Asian!This incident happened on Jan 5, 2021 at 8:30 am!Kroger pizzas were on sale $2.99 and one out of the 4 pizzas I got was $4.99 I asked Sandra to return the $4.99 and she gave me a hard time. She called Mitchell over and they both argued with me. They end up refund me $2, but kept my $4.99 pizza! Money was not the issue, but I hate discrimination because I am Asian!I have nothing to do with the Coronavirus and I am a US citizen, I go to Kroger and paid for everything with my hard earned money. I should not be treated the way I was treated there at Kroger!

Kroger is always stocked with what we need for our team and always has great customer service!! We will always utilize Kroger for our company and team!!

The entrance closed at 9 on Friday. Had to walk back to that entrance to get a cart. Then back again with the cart. At checkout there was a long line for the self-serve which was all that was open. The self-serve turn tables only hold 4 bags after scanning. Who is in charge here!? They were obviously not there!

A good selection of food & other products with average costs & friendly service. The staff are very friendly and helpful. It is a great place to shop.

Online order pickup is great! 8/10 as far as having what I want in stock!

My husband is highly contagious to a lot of things due to allergies. I stopped at the Deli to get some turkey lunch meat and explained to Jacob about his allergy. Jacob took the time to clean the cutter prior to cutting my meat. He put my mind at ease and he was so friendly.That’s why we shop Kroger! He is an asset to your company.

The times I have shopped here, there are full-service lanes open with friendly cashiers and baggers for my groceries:) I want to encourage you to continue to always have a full-service lane open at all hours because it is difficult to scan a cart of groceries myself/find a place to put everything otherwise.

Im enjoying the spacious remodel and new ways for integrating the organic items with the rest of the selection. This is my go-to store now. The new speed bumps outside are way too tall and seem oddly placed in reference to the stop signs.

This Kroger is so nice and beautiful inside. I was shocked and amazed. Usually Kroger is a mess and un organized and no employees or cash registers open. I call it kroghetto for that very reason. This Kroger is the best Kroger Ive ever seen and the associates are very polite and helpful

I hate being followed around the store by the mangers as a black person!!!!! I forgot something at the bottom of the cart and she made a big deal about it and I honestly felt embarrassed in front of ever body.....I feel not welcome and I will not be back because of her....she is a tall skinny white woman in her late 40s!!!! Ughhh never again

Always a good place to shop. Has everything you need and probably more then you even know what it is. Friendly staff that will assist You in finding everything you need and everything thats in the store. The cash registers normally move pretty good but not always. The self check out Im not a self check out fan is OK. They have good parking good lighting in the evenings nice size store with a bit of everything

This 24 hour supermarket offers a variety of food at competitive prices. There are plenty of cashier lines open as well as self-service during the day. The produce looks fresh and beautiful. The fish, meat and deli looks appetizing as well. Of youre ever in the Westerville area and want healthy delicious groceries, pay them a visit!

Food seems fresh, and produce, deli and cheese selections are extensive and nicely varied. Bakery offerings looked and smelled quite tempting! Seafood selection not great, only farmed salmon available, as far as I could see.I have not shopped this store before, not being from this area. Perhaps on another day (it is the Monday of Thanksgiving Week) this would not have been a problem, but the store was sold-out of several items on my list, including sour cream (only store brand, containing corn syrup solids available) and frozen pie crusts (the sort not already in a tin). Employees were friendly and helpful.

I got cake and ice cream, flowers and grapes, 😋, customer service is nice and diverse. Young man named Mitchell has been helpful this last few week. Store was clean, shelves were stocked up.

Today was my last trip to this Kroger. Whether its managers getting testy with staff in front of the customers, or that, and not for the first time, I purchased something on a managers special that was well beyond its sell by date, this store just isnt great. While I understand I should look at the dates on these, generally its same day or the next day, not three days ago on chicken products in the refrigerator. Just not a fan.

I absolutely love the Kroger on Maxtown Road! From the cleanliness to always being fully stocked and the wonderful customer services received by all staff! It is always a great experience shopping here!

The people in the store are very friendly and available to help you out if needed. The produce is always full and fresh and the workers are very knowledgeable. I feel like I never have to wait in line to check out at this store and the baggers do an excellent job. They even offer carryout, which not very many stores do anymore. I love shopping here so much that they even know me by name. I love this store!

I tried out the new hot food section. I waited a while but the once the lady came she was nice and polite. The food was okay. The new remodel looks good!!

The bathroom was unclean and had a disturbing odor. The store didnt carry the first item I was looking. The store carried the second item, but it costed almost twice as much as it does at my usual grocery store, so I did not buy it. The WiFi did not connect and the pharmacy technician trainee was a bit rude.

Went in after 10:30 PM. Obviously not crowded. Had items out for restocking, so had to be observant. Found what I needed. Self checked out. Easy in and out.

Not open 24 hours. All the lights are on. There arent any signs showing the hours of operation. I drove 32 miles tonight to 3 different 24 hour locations and theyre all closed. I guess Im going to Walmart...

Beautiful and clean inside, night crew and customers all unfriendly and had a snobbish-outer shell, considering i came from a nicer town that was surprising to see in Westerville, i asked someone about it and heard its apparently common there in what they consider richer areas.....sad to see, especially in such a beautiful nicely arranged store, really it was immaculate, perfection, but personality is a really big deal when deciding wether or not you would enjoy returning to any establishment, so if you can just smile and nod and be grateful for your finds there, i guess no problem, maybe smiling at them will rub off....eventually! SMILE, ITS CONTAGIOUS! It couldnt hurt right.

Need more selection!!! Starting to love store organic options but Ive been to other Krogers with much better variety. Produce is lacking. Pre-packaged Healthy lunch options for kids lunches are lacking. I do want to try the seasoned and wrapped fresh fish option for dinner. ***They are currently expanding. Hoping for a better store!

Very friendly customer service. The store offers many nice amenities. They have Starbucks and a bistro to grab lunch on the go.

Not liking the remodeling changes. They say more merchandise but lot items use to buy are gone off shelves. They say isles bigger but put displays in them so still cant get around other shoppers. With the pickup grocery delivery options the shopping carts are huge and employees filling those orders block space making my shopping slower and harder. No dont want use pickup delivery. Use to enjoy shopping experience but not with kroger.

Really disappointed in this Kroger. We have shopped there for years but recently noticed with curbside pick up, that we’re often given expired products. Just picked up groceries on Monday and the yogurt was expired a week. I shouldn’t have to check every expiration date to see what’s good and what’s not. Looks like we will be switching stores.

Out of item I came in for, everyone too busy to acknowledge my existence. Bad stocking and inattentive customer service is a Kroger staple though or Id have given 1 star.

Thank you!And since Im on here, I might as well highlight a few others. Dave Mason is always so kind and helpful whenever I see him in the store. A few months ago he went out of his way to help me find some plastic knives, ended up giving me some of his own plastic silverware for free! Thank you!Alberto Martínez, Betsy Lococo and Ron Kupper in the meat department are always so friendly with my kids! Thank you!

Unhappy experience on Sunday last. Tried to attract attention in fish department 5 times. Non-charismatic assistant eventually shouted. We do not open here until 9. Had no answer to Why didnt you tell me that twenty minutes ago. Pointed out several string bags of rotting potatoes to unhelpful stocker, had to go wash hands after touching them. Saw another stocker squeezing huge zit in greengrocery. Check expiry dates they are not always vigilant about such matters. You can always find ancient spilled milk and broken eggs in the dairy freezers. In great need of aggressive management.

Dont ask the manager where anything is right now. Heres very rude!! My husband asked him where the make up is and he waved his arm around and says this is the way the store is right now! We took it down. Thanks Captain obvious wouldnt have guessed you took iit down because everything in the store is messed up because of construction. We thought maybe you moved it to another isle like some of the other stuff in the store that has no ryme or reason why you put it there. No Im sorry for your inconvenience but because we are under construction we took the make up isle down temporarily.* No just arms waving around like were idiots! Where is the customer service!

Wont be going to Kroger anymore. They dont stock shelves with sale items. I have several raincheck because there out of stock of the items. Went there yeaterday, left without several things that were on sale. My advice to Kroger; Dont put items on sale, if you dont have them in stock!. Found this at both Westerville stores.

I wouldnt recommend getting any open fruit/veggies here such as gapes, apples, bananas and so on. Fruit cups/packeged fruit are fine though.

I have shopped at this Kroger for a very long time and always felt safe, the store is clean and always inviting, however in the past month or more I have noticed a large caucasian man dressed all in black with black very short shaved hair sitting in the lounge area by Starbucks typing on a lap top computer. No matter what time of the day or night you go in the store this man is there watching TV and typing on his lap top. He is a scary presents and my children are afraid of him and dont want to go in the store because of him. I assume he is homeless and uses the store for the free TV and Wifi and restroom. I am ready to start shopping elsewhere and wonder if we will see something bad on the evening news one night concerning this man. The Westerville Police should check him out or management should do something.
