Went to this Best Buy to return a life proof case that didn’t seal properly when I bought it and the customer service was very disrespectful. She told me I couldn’t return this item I had to contact my purse to get them to replace it. Went to a different Best Buy and they told me that was not their policy and they return the case.
Three reasons I bought my Apple MacBook Air from Best Buy. Fast Delivery, Superb Service on line and at their physical stores without pressure to buy and why give my money to Apple directly when they can’t ship for weeks. Why not give a chance to a smaller corporation! I try to buy all my Apple Gadgets at the store in Williamsburg. Great store. If you like to buy an expensive Apple item I would prefer to see it and touch it. See in person if it’s for me. Best Buy gives you that chance but Apple makes it difficult because you have to wait for weeks for delivery or if by any chance it’s available, having to ride to only one store which is very far from Williamsburg and if you are lucky to be able to pick it up it will depress you. You wait on line. The reps call names, come over to verify the information than you are called in where’s only associates can be seen. They give you a $1,100 plus taxes iPhone and you leave. That’s ridiculous. Yes there is danger with the pandemic but the experience can we warmer. I was a fool not to go seven miles to Best Buy but 90 miles round trip to the Apple Store in Norfolk. * pictures of Apple Store location in Norfolk are labeled as Best Buy. I don’t take responsibility and it’s time consuming to edit each picture.

Went in to see about a step tracker and this wonderful young lady assisted us by quickly telling us where the items we were looking for were, then asking some general questions to help determine my ultimate needs. She knew detailed information about the different brands and models and helped get the product from lock and key, all the way to the cash register. Pretty sure she was smiling behind that mask because she was so friendly and helpful! Wish Id caught her name, but I was distracted by the new gift from my boyfriend!
We had a young man, employee named Trey help us to find a video game. He was patient, friendly and went above and beyond to find the single game they had in the back. Trey was also very knowledgeable about the gaming consoles. Thanks to Trey, this was a wonderful experience, his customer service skills are exemplary! Thanks, Trey! Best buy sells protection plans as a scam and dont actually repair your appliances. I purchase a protection plan dropped my play station off in July I just got it back today and was told they are unable to repair it and cant give me a refund for the plan I purchased.

My experience at Best Buy was Awesome. The salesmen, Ryan Graves, and Brian I think his namewas. They both were very knowledgeable and willing to help me and my daughter find everything we need.
Had an excellent experience. Customer Service was great. The sales representative Shane was great. He was very professional, patient, and funny. He went above and beyond his work ethics you make sure we got what we needed, he deserve an promotion. I also had an excellent experience with Drake. He was very helpful, understanding and patient. Both guys was very friendly and answered all our questions. They didn’t waste any time to assist us. I give this store 10 STARS.

(Coming from a PA resident) This store is very clean, and very organized. Yes, you can shop, in-store (60 person store limit was posted on the front). The staff was hospitable and friendly. The staff was punctual with cleaning tester devices. All-in-all, a good visit.Also, they sell Dyson air-purifiers that, although on the high-end of the buying spectrum, look like something from a (more) Blade Runner movie. Check them out:

Horrible customer service, was asking for prices on laptops and to get more information about them because I was interested in purchasing one. They said realistic prices for a standard laptop are $1,000 which is 100% not accurate at all. When I asked for something in the $600 price range they just hung up on me. Twice. I guess a $600 sale wasn’t good enough for them.
People need to be aware that with the micro chip shortage, computers are being affected just like cars. That being said, the staff was helpful in making our selection for a new school computer.
My phone from Sprint store moto port was busted for second time .I went to Best Buy had a patient and very thoughtful and thorough expert guide me and assist me to choose an affordable phone that I am very pleased with better camera, 4 x the storage .Good Job!

Online it showed a new windows surface was at the store for display but it wasnt. Sales associate had little to no knowledge about Windows surface devices.

The staff and manager were extremely rude. I know we are in a pandemic. I can not wear a mask for medical reasons. The governor and the president say that if a person can not wear a mask for medical reasons that person is still allowed to enter any business that is open to the public without prejudice. To be treated like I was subhuman because of my medical conditions is wrong on so many levels. Im 50 years old with disabilities. The staff and manager told me to shop online. I dont know how to shop online for anything because I dont understand computers. The item I was going in for I wasnt exactly sure what it was called and needed technical help. I get treated better by the less fortunate in our community than I did here. What happened to the Golden Rule treat others with kindness. I will NEVER shop at this store or any other Best Buy if this is the way Im going to be treated. During this time of what we are going through this is discrimination to the persons with disabilities act. Have a great day.

Treva told 2 workers to tell me that the price I was quoted couldnt be honored because it was for elite members only. After leaving the store, I called the 800# and learned that elite members do not get special pricing and helped me order the items that I wanted at the price the store quoted me at first but said they misquoted me an elite member price. Afterwards I spoke with Christina who said you got what you wanted and there is nothing else we can do for you. Explained to her that it took me calling the national number to get what I wanted and that that doesnt change the fact that I had to make a 2nd trip there and that her team lied to me. I dont recall her ever even apologizing. Store needs better management!
Visiting from New Jersey this week and had to go buy a case for my phone, unfortunately they did not have model instock. However it took me less than a minute to find the section for phone cases. It was very organized and clean. The staff was extremely polite and helpful as well. Parking was available and was right next to as Target so I could do my shopping afterwards.

Went to exchange an item I purchased. Stood in the huge line then finally made it to the cashier. They stated they wanted me to go get the item and bring it back. Well this was a locked up item. So then I spent twenty five minutes looking for someone who could get the item. Finally got the item and they walked it back up to customer service. I waited towards the side thinking he was just going to take me and make the exchange really quick. Nopppeee. Stood there for about ten minutes of him continuing to take people so I got back in line. Waited another 45 minutes in line. Then when I finally reached the front he dares to say, oh sorry I didnt see you or I would of taken you. Okay sir there are so many flaws with this statement. One we made direct eye contact several times. The employee handed you my item. You had to know I was with the item he handed you. We discussed thats the only reason I was hear. You could of just left that out entirely.
They had exactly what I needed. I worked with two different staff members, and they were both very helpful, knowledgeable, and guided me to the best decisions. In addition, all staff members were correctly wearing masks, making it very comfortable to work with them.

Best Buy and staff were excellent. Unfortunately, even though I have had excellent credit for many years and I pay my bills on time, Citi Bank denied me an increase on credit available for my Best Buy credit card after stonewalling me for over an hour on the phone. I found that the scissors that I have at home works very well.
This one is better than Newport News store. No hassle.

Wanted to purchase a car radio which the audio installer could not provide. I called the store. They confirmed the item was available and would set it aside. When I arrived some hours later, they knew who I was and what I wanted to purchase. Very nice customer service.
Bought a TV online, free delivery included, and it was delivered on time without an issue.
Worst service ever. We got there at 5:15 pm, and specifically ask for an iPhone 12 pro max. The lady at the front desk cut me off, and told me to wait until the next appointment at 7:00 pm. After 2 hours waiting finally a employee asked me “which iPhone are you looking for again” so when I told him he apologized saying “sorry we only have iPhone for Verizon we don’t carry AT & T”. Obviously good customer service is not a priority for Best Buy Williamsburg 😡
Amazing experience buying a new refrigerator! They had the fastest delivery dates, price matched, and helpful staff do not work on commission. Our salesperson, Tyler, helped us decide between models both with advice as well as knocking $200 off the higher priced model we wanted! Definitely recommend!

I would give 0 if I could. Ordered a phone for in store pickup and was told it would be ready in an hour, fast forward 5 hours, no phone. I then switch my delivery method to 2 day shipping and still no phone.Now Ive wasted 3 days and dont have a phone to show for it. To add insult to injury, Best Buy has taken it upon themselves to disconnect my old phone from my network so I now have NO PHONE at all. They have the WORST customer service and I will never shop here again.

The place is horrible. The staff does not know what they’re doing. They always recommend you were the wrong thing and tell you the wrong specs. Sometimes still tell you one thing and the truth is that the product doesn’t have that feature that they’re talking about. Customer service is nice. Worth to buy online and pick it up.

We have all of our electronic devices covered by a Geek Squad service warranty. Its a great service whenever computer issues arise. They diagnose the problem and get us up and running efficiently, and explain the process as they fix it. We also use Best Buy for ink supplies, routers, and the occasional printer purchases. Good friendly service oriented store.

Tim in the mobile department. I asked him to help me find a phone case for my phone. He said he didnt have any and started talking to another customer. Online it said they had some and brushed mr off to help some lady. he didnt even try to point me in the right direction or try to help me find what I was looking for. I eventually found 6 other cases with the help of the other employees.
This particular Best Buy is the best. It if smaller and what they carry is not as much as Richmond or Newport News. But the staff is the best especially compared to the Newport News location. I never hesitate going here.
I would tell you about my experience except I can’t seem to get a hold of them. I ordered something online for in store pick up. I have a question that will determine whether or not I need to cancel the order. I’ve been on hold for 30 minutes and counting. And have yet to talk to a real person.

Difficult to write a positive review for the store. Been in here twice this year so far and inventory is atrocious, no readily available parts unless you order it online, I was looking for a display port to HDMI adapter, had a spot on the shelf but no inventory in the store. Also staff didnt seem to willing to work with me on price of an item (they would have taken a total loss of about $30 because the item that they had in the box on the shelf was not the same item as on display). Sales staff didnt even make an attempt to make a deal just said no thats the wrong one and thats the price. This is probably a big reason why big box retail is losing out so badly to online sales. I understand that there are some store exclusives however when the opportunity exists to make a sale and still end up turning a profit even if at a smaller margin staff are unwilling to make the deal. For me I just dont see the value in buying anything in a technology store anymore just to have it in your hands the same day. I am willing to wait a day or two and have it sent right to my doorstep without having to search around a physical store to get the best price.
Phone system is awful!!! I had a question about a 65in. Lg tv I purchased yesterday. When i called I had to deal with an automated system first and was made to listen to information about playstation and other products that I had no interest in. Then I made a selection and was on hold for 30 minutes just to be put on hold for another 20 minutes before I hung up the phone with no help received. I then called geek squad and was told they couldnt help me. Due to inaccessible customer service I will be returning the television and canceling my BestBuy card and account.
