Store employees as a whole are invisible and not helpful but DIANE OVERSTREET in Kitchen & Bath is FANTASTIC. She is SO helpful and goes out of her way! Also provides great information. Thank you, Diane!

One of my favorite stores with competitive prices and helpful staff. I can usually find what I need in stock. Otherwise, I can order on line for pick up there or deliver to home.

My wife and I ordered a washer and dryer from home depot. The delivery date was set for yesterday Sept 25th. They gave a 4 hour window for delivery. My wife sat at home all morning, and had to miss my sons baseball games. They never showed up. We called home depot several times. They gave us an excuse saying the delivery driver came, and no one answered the door. My wife had been sitting at the dinner table putting in grades all morning. The table is within view of the front door. I asked to see the pictures, but they said they could only fax them to me, not email. I then asked what color the house was in the pics. They had gone to a tan house, not our grey one. They went to the wrong house! They never called to say they were there, and no one was answering the door, which would have solved the whole issue. Now, we are out at washer and dryer for another 2 weeks, because they said they cannot deliver it any earlier. I am a nurse who takes care of covid patients. My wife is a high school teacher. We have 4 kids. We have no washer and dryer. Very poor customer service.

Had what I needed, Simple Green and I bought a crape myrtle, nice 3 foot tree. Great checkout service.

I always have trouble finding what I need because shelves are never stocked and dont have the 2 hours to wait while they find a forklift operator. It would be nice to see the shelves and racks stocked instead of it always being on the top rack or just not gone. Recurring problem my years going there.

I had two heavy 36 wide doors, toilet to pickup and two sheets of drywall to put into a van. The pickup desk worked with me to pull the order items to have them ready to load while I did the quick shopping to purchase drywall. I had three people helping to load those big items into the car. They were great.

The staff was incredibly helpful during our shopping trip there today.

Never shopping here again. bottle of industrial bleach on the shelf was opened and spilt all over me when I lifted it. ruined my brand new jeans and shirt. aisle was partially closed down where toilet paper is, i asked the attendant if i could get some toilet paper, she was very rude and nasty. try lowes instead

I highly suggest you go to another hone depot or even Lowe’s. I’ve been waiting a month for my blinds that are already paid for to be installed in my new home. Every time I call I get the run around and they shift blame. My children abs I are still stuck without blinds in an unfamiliar city. Truly unacceptable. I’m very disappointed in this company.

Went to purchase piece of plywood, in lumber department approximately 20 min. Associates waited on other customers then disappeared at least 4 did this, had two or three walkby said nothing. Went to CK out only person I could find to ask for help. The lady there was super called someone said be right there. 16 minutes later no one cashier saw me still waiting recalled, sent me to the saw area gentleman went to plywood area said didnt have what I was looking for. Told him by stock on website had 43 pieces. Had to search with him and found whole rick 43 pieces. After getting mine told him thank you as he was walking away through up his hand. I need more material hate to have to go back here but the only place that has what I need.

During my weekly visit to Home Depot I have the occasion to visit the Williamsburg location. Truly organized and clean the store not to mention very attentive and friendly employees. The manager of this particular location should be praised for having such an attentive and efficient staff.

I needed a tomato plant. So when I got there I asked a nice man worker who directed me to a whole row of them. They had all the supplies that I needed. (This time)

The young guy in pro/lumber section, didnt know how to properly cut wood. Had to bring home and cut it ourselves.Went to customer service for help doing an online order. He told me to go online and do it myself, it would be quicker Ship if I did it myself. Not true. Then issues in paint. We gave up and left.

Had everything that i went for. Not too crowded. Pleasant staff.

I like the store but their tool rental are misogynistic, patriarchal and hostile to women. They sent me home with a pressure washer with tips that blew off just turning it on.

Terrible customer service. Trying to get $2,000+ worth of washer & dryer delivered and installed has been a nightmare. Canceling and getting a refund has been even worse. So many third parties is the mix, no one takes responsibility. Do not recommend.

Had what I wanted and easy to get in and out and back to work. No lines, no waits, no problem. Even had clean carts ready to go with a cleaning station next to it. Clean store for a tool store. As clean as it gets I guess. Parking was easy no carts on the lot.

Sales rep said I couldnt buy a Bosch dishwasher till year end, so I went next door to Loews and bought one. Its installed.

Worth the drive to get what is needed

Wouldnt allow me to use my store credit because it wasnt assigned to me per my ID but when I made the return to gain this store credit they did not scan my ID. I also wasnt told about this policy until I attempted to use it. I was basically told to wait it out to see if they can override the system which could actually take up to 24 hrs.

The worse customer service Ive ever had. I bought a whoolpool Refrigerator on February 28, 2021. I was told it would be delivered 11 days later. One day before my delivery I was called and told it was on back order it would be another month. This is unexcpectable because I am in a new build home without a refrigerator. I called and got a new delivery date of April 1, 2021. 2 days before my delivery I receive another phone call saying it will be another month because its on back order again. I called the Home depot in Williamsburg where I purchased my refrigerator and got no where but a run around. I will not be spending my money at home depot again.

Positives: Much better selection of tools (both types of tools as well as brand) compared to other big box stores as well as better prices in general. Often times there is a pretty good selection of things on sale up at the front of the store. Employees tend not to bother/nag you but will be of great help when asked.Negatives: While on par with most other Home Depots and other big box stores, the quality of lumber ranges from (rarely) mediocre to (abundantly) atrocious. There is also a very limited supply of lumber when compared to the Lowes next door.

These 5 Stars are all due to Cecil. I bought a mower and a grill just now (Im still in the parking lot). I attempted to buy a grill in the box because I knew it would be a tight fit in the suburban. They didnt have any in the box so Cecil was in the parking lot seeing me struggle and offered assistant not once but twice! I tell you what Ill be coming back just for that alone. Thanks Cecil! Home Depot youve got a good one!

I have been going to this Home Depot for 10+ years over 3 house renovations. Even after moving closer to another location, I drove to this one because I knew the store and the staff better. Ive always raved about them to everyone... until now and I may never go back. I ordered countertops for my latest kitchen renovation and we are finally at the point of installation. The sub that they contracted the actual countertop installation out to indicated that I needed to call the store to follow-up on having the stores contracted plumber out to hook up the sink after the counters are installed. (They said HD does not arrange it through them.) I called and left a message. And called and left a message. And called and left a message. On the 4th call, I finally get someone to tell me that they cannot do it because we are closer to another store, so their plumber wont come to our house. (We are less than 10 minutes closer to this other store and only 35 minutes from the store we ordered from.) Since weve been trying to get a hold of them for 5 days at this point, I share my concern that the other store wont be able to schedule a plumber to do the hook-up 3 days later. He agrees with me that its unlikely. I ask if Im better off arranging plumbing on my own. The response - yes. Basically, I got heres your money back, figure it out on your own. Gee, thanks. No one mentioned this could be an issue, when they asked if I wanted to purchase plumbing installation when I bought the counters and they made no effort to assist me in trying to solve the problem that they not only caused, but then made worse by refusing to return my calls. Theyve lost my business and I cannot in good conscience recommend making a major purchase through them.

This was the cleanest/neatest home depot Ive ever been in. The employees still avoided you like the plague and I think one who I nodded my head at actually said go away but she had a mask so it was hard to tell for sure, and even if it was what she said, who cares! at least they are honest in their uninterest in helping you. This one felt a step above.

I drove the Newport News store and was looking to rent a chipper/shreader and was told the rental employee that they did not carry them but the Williamsburg had them for rent. Drove to Williamsburg Home Depot and was told they did not have or rent them for over 4 years!! To say the least I am not happy or a satisfied customer with such uninformed or unknowledgeable employees in Home Depot departments such as experienced at the Newport News store. Lowes is beginning to show that they aremore on top of their products.

I got hanging flowers for my backyard. Ill hang it once it stops raining.

Long wait for returns. This place is hit or miss for customer service. Not my favorite HD but closest. Half the staff are great. The rest are either dumbbells or full of attitude.

Picked up a 1x12 piece of oak. They cut it length, the guy was right there to cut it and its a nice piece of wood. Ill be making an oak serving tray out of it

Its your typical home depot except they are the only one I know of that doesnt allow people to bring pets in. Almost every one Ive been to has. I was really disappointed that I needed something from there and had to take my dog home and come back. Of course its that stores right to but its a lil out of whack with other Home Depot stores.

The staff at this location prove heads and shoulders above those employed at the various MD stores in DC suburbs from where I relocated a few months ago. At this store reps don’t head in the other direction but actually seek me out to be of assistance. Tim in electrical has been there for me to help ensure I got the right stuff for our garage door installation and he set me in a good direction for having a chandelier rewired. On my last visit, Dylan in window treatments was tops on store offerings and product lines for blinds/shutters. Always a pleasant experience at this store.

They are usually stocked pretty good and the customer service helps when you need so i enjoy coming to this location..bonus chick fila in the same parking lot..lol

I love Home Depot. The prices are not that much different from Lowes, which is horrible. But the cleaners of the store and customer service makes a world of difference over Lowes. Just for that im forever a Home Depot unless customer service becomes worse then Lowes. Lowes customer service sucks and is the worse ever.

I want to thank Lizabeth in the appliance section for going above and beyond. I was looking for a specific product and Home Depot did not have available. The entire area was out of this product and Lizabeth told me she believes they might have three left in the store however they are currently trying to locate. She took my name and number and promised to call me. Lizabeth did call me back, I was already in the second store looking to no avail when she did call and unfortunately she confirmed that they too were unable to locate the appliance. Lizabeth gave me some other options however not what I needed and I thanked her for her follow up. A few hours later my phone rang again from the same number and this time Lizabeth had great news, they had found the appliance and she let me know she could take my order right over the phone and pick up the next day.Thank you so much Lizabeth your leaders are lucky to have you and so is Home Depot! See you tomorrow to pick up my appliance!

Never Buy an Appliance from this store! We just got done with a 2-month ordeal and I can tell you their service and installation is terrible. Unbelievably terrible.

In Williamsburg Ive made Home Depot my go-to store for tools, home repair, and similar needs. The staff has consistently proven friendly and helpful. They typically have a good stock of everything youd expect to find there and then some. My biggest complaint is I find too many tempting things there, so almost invariably end up buying more than I planned! 😃
