First off I do not write reviews or commendations unless I believe the person sincerely deserves one. Today I was having an issue with my cell phone and drove to the Verizon store in Woodstock, Georgia. I was greeted right away by Cheryl and explained the problem I was having. Cheryl, for a good forty five minutes, patiently worked and resolved the problem. The overall experience with Cheryl restored my faith in customer service and reaffirmed the reason I continue to stay with Verizon for as long as I have. My message to Verizon management is for you to think about rewarding Cheryl in some special way to keep her working for you. Pay raise or promotion would be nice. She deserves it! Thank you.

Ridiculous and obnoxiuous wait for them to tell us they did not have multiple phones in stock for us to upgrade to. Even after telling the manager at check in what we were there for. The representative immediately asked me if I wanted to upgrade to the newest phone for samsung flip which apparently was the only model in stock. No google phones either. Waste of my time. Going into the store is pointless. Just order online and save yourself the time.

Highly recommend not coming here. Not only that, but Verizon Corporate told us this as well after our experience.Went to this location as we wanted to leave Sprint since they merged with T-Mobil. Met with the associate there and he showed us the black Friday deal they had where if you port over your line you get a $300 rebate applicable to your bill and if you trade in your phone you get a credit for the phone. This all sounded great. We got the Start unlimited plan and traded in our phones and upgraded to new ones. a couple weeks passed and our bill was extremely high. turned out that our plan SOMEHOW got switch to the Do More Unlimited. We got this all fixed through customer service over the phone which was Very difficult. Next we find out the rebate was not eligible for the original Start Unlimited Plan we had signed up for and were sold on by this associate. Went in the store(as instructed by customer service) and the associate was there working so we just went to the manager. This manager I believe his name is Manny took no responsibility for this fraudulent sale his associate had performed. He stated all he could do is run our issue up to customer service (Which we have been doing for weeks now) finally we called corporate and told them what had happened and we had proof of the sale and everything the associate sold us on. Verizon made it right and got us fixed up. DO NOT GO TO THIS VERIZON LOCATION. I would recommend audio recording your sales interactions as well and double check the screen before you sign the agreement for what you are purchasing (This is what we did). Its clear that the manager of this place is not trustworthy and extremely lacks any customer service skills or compassion. Not only that, but this was fraud. Verizon also stated they recommend doing all sales and purchases over the phone through their services to avoid locations and people like this.

Bought a new phone with accessories. Tried to put on screen protector, only to find out they sold me one for the S20, not the S21+ that I purchased. Tried calling the store to verify they had the right one before driving back and all I get is a computer message talking to me at a STORE FULL OF PHONES Horrible service! I went in on January 20th at around 3:30-4pm and I was talked to in a very condescending way by the lady who helped me at the back desk. I was told by Verizon to come in to complete a purchase in-store just for the lady to talk down to me and tell me that I was in fact, incorrect. I was trying to explain the situation and she acted as if I was inconveniencing her by her being there. Really unpleasant experience in the customer service area. I work in customer service every day, and I know that my store delivers the very best, but this was kind of unacceptable. It is already a stressful process and having rude staff makes me want to switch carriers.

Korey saved the business! My family and I received three new phones when we moved from AT&T to Verizon. The transfer was a mess. We werent at all happy as we became phoneless when AT&T switched off and Verizion wouldnt come on our new phones. My mother went to the Woodstock store and Korey sat with her and worked through the issue. After a new sim card all was well. I went to the store that evening and he remembered my mothers phone problem and was able to resolve mine within 15 minutes.

When my friend and I arrived at the store we were instructed to wait outside, which was no big deal, except the people who arrived after us were allowed to wait inside. Once we were inside, we were assisted by a very unprofessional employee. She was not attentive, and repetitively asked us the same questions, only to place an incorrect order, despite being corrected and told multiple times the specifics of the order. Now I am having to correct a mistake that I did not make.

Since I was wrote a scathing review of the Verizon in Canton I thought it was only fair to write one on how great the Verizon in Woodstock was. The moment I walked in I was immediately approached by Russell & he was very polite & professional. He greeted me & asked why I was stopping in. I explained to him my issue and he had me talk to Jon who also provided me with incredible customer service. My issue was handled and I bought a IPhone 11 Pro Max. If the reps make any commission I’m glad I bought it here and not Canton the evening I was ignored. None of those reps deserved a dime of my money.

I used to enjoy going into this location. The prior manager John was wonderful and the team there was always very engaged and wanted to assist you.I went in yesterday and wasnt greeted when I walked in the door even though there was only one other customer and several of their team. The new manager was sitting and joking around with the team. A very poor first impression. I walked up to the group and had to ask for help. In the past, I have always been greeted and asked what brought me in. Korey wasnt able to assist with my issue after I was referred to the location by Verizon Call Center. He cut me off as I explained the series of events. This was a second issue and the third time that I had been in recently. He acted like I was making it up, that they would never refer me in and told me that I needed to get on the phone with tech support and not the call center. He came across as condescending and more interested in discussing a tablet with my husband than helping with an issue. Through all this, the new manager just sat there and didnt intervene. Poorly done.

I dropped in recently to the Verizon Store in Woodstock. Ive done business at that location as long as they have been open. The previous Customer Service was excellent. This visit, A brusque man at the door met me. He seemed pleasant enough, but immediately started telling me that they couldnt help me with my issue. I would have to contact the manufacturer. It is acceptable that is their policy, however this manager was bullying & blustering so, it was offensive. He has NO idea how manage anyone. My compassion is for his employees! I decided to leave, but, then he sent me to speak with another associate. Hoping the associate would help, I explained my Dr Dre Beats had ceased functioning. This is the second time in less than 18 months. They have a one year warranty, but neither pair made it that far, despite my best care of them. The associate offered me the manufacturer contact information. It is acceptable if they want me to contact the manufacturer, but Mr. Brusque & Blustering informed me he was the General Manager & simply flatly refused to help with no courtesy or polite apologies. Just rude, loud denials to help. When I walked out he said, I hope you have a good afternoon. My reply was that I would never frequent that particular store again because of his lack of customer service. He proceeded to lose his temper and SCREAM at me abusively. He wouldnt let me even complete my sentence. I stood there in shock that any professional would conduct themselves in such an unprofessional manner. I glanced at his employees who were obviously seriously uncomfortable and their body language was the next thing to cowering. As I walked out, he was still screaming at me. I heard him halfway across the parking lot to my car.I will never use this store again.

I went in yesterday with a phone that I needed to ship back to the main office and not only did he give me a box for it, he also packaged it up and even put the shipping label on for me. Under new management since my last visit. Seems to be an entirely new staff. Some of the staffMembers seem nice and friendly. The GM is aggressive, rude and doesn’t have good customer service skills at all. Came out of the back to assist like a drill sergeant- immediately had an aggressive and rude tone. I definitely wouldn’t want to work with or deal with him in the future. So I wouldn’t purchase anything from this particular location. Someone needs to work with this guy on how to approach the public. This is a customer service environment. He told me exchanging a defective charger was against policy without being an account manager on a shared plan. I told him I had done it before and all I wanted was to do an even exchange. (The $60 charger stopped charging) he said β€œit’s against policy and the associate could lose her job and I won’t repeat myself!!!!” he said it so aggressively I thought he was gonna throat punch me. I was a little concerned about how angry he was over a charger exchange. I mean seriously. Horrible experience. Will not be back to do any future business.

I had a poor experience. I had purchased a Rapid Car Charger about 5 months ago and it was not working in my phone. Thinking my phone was damaged and not realizing it was my car charger, I obtained a new phone only to find the same thing was happening. We tried using the car charger with my wifes phone, no success. When we took it to the store the associate took the car charger, my brand new phone and tried it, sure enough, it didnt work. He tried it on his phone (no idea the type or age of his phone) but it worked. His solution, it was our phones and we should see about getting them fixed or better yet, buy new phones. When I explained my phone was 1 day old, he stated, well it could have a problem. At no time did he remotely think the car charger could have been an issue. I was ready to walk out when my wife asked to speak to a manager. When the manager came out, I explained the entire scenario to him and simply asked which is more plausible, a failing car charger or two phones, one of which is brand new. He didnt have a problem replacing the car charger (it was still under warranty). He asked the associate to get another one and the associate asked the manager to have someone else do it, he didnt like having to deal with rude people. The end result, the manager made the purchase right, but the customer service was lacking that day.

I do not recommend this place for anyone. It’s the worst customer service I’ve ever received from a Verizon store. I know it’s inconsiderate to go to a store close to closing. Upon arrival of 30 minutes prior to closing all the employees were just sitting in their group and talking. It was awkward when I walked up to them all just casually talking and ask for someone to help with my phone. Normally sales places like Verizon or a car shop they come meet you at the door and speak to you. Nope, it seemed like I was a hindrance to their conversation. I’m not from the area and this Verizon literally is of no help. I simply asked about my iPhone battery not holding a charge and he just shrugged me off like β€œnot my problem” kinda shrug. The reason why customers come to Verizon is either to buy products or receive help with their product. Fairly simple. Along with that I didn’t know if my phone was insured and he looked it up after I told him I was on my parents plan and not my own. Even when he looked it up he was reluctant in doing so. You know how you can tell someone doesn’t wanna speak to you? Well that’s how it felt. My phone wasn’t uninsured therefore not his fault and I don’t blame him for that. He then told me I’d have to take it to Apple and stated it was in some mall. I get that I have a Georgia area code but I’m not from this area so it was frustrating when he was describing what was around the mall when I grew up in Alabama.... I would have preferred an address. If you have problems with your phone that’s an Apple product speak with Apple. I received phenomenal service from them and even though I spoke with them over the phone he was pleasant and very patient with finding MULTIPLE solutions for me. Bottom line... please don’t go here and read some of the other comments because they’re lacking in customer service. I wish there was a zero rating....

Last month my husband went in this store with my phone which had a broken screen protector. As former retail management I keep boxes and receipts.He took in the box of the screen protector that was broken. He spoke to Mutasim he explained their location did not carry the screen protector I currently have. He showed my husband another brand. He explained that this one had a lifetime warranty and if we had any problems in any way to bring it back in.Well it broke this week so my husband and I went there tonight with the box, receipt and Mutasims business card. As we entered the store my husband recognized Mutasim and said there’s the guy that sold it to me. I am disabled and went over to the counter area to sit down so we could get the screen replaced.Mutasim immediately came over and stated he wasn’t returning the screen protector and became very rude and angry.After trying to explain to him what he stated at the time of the sale he walked off and left the store.I immediately tried to get customer service on the phone. There were 7 employees in the store and one customer. The manager Manny heard me and came over and started the same behavior he refused to let us talk and explain what had happened. He yelled and said we will exchange it one time and that we could never come back to his store! He sent over John who replaced the screen. I have NEVER been treated so badly by an employee and the General Manager in my life. What happened to customer service?I have shopped at this store for years and spent a lot of money and I have always been treated like a valuedCustomer!Terrible customer service and no professionalism by the General Manager he is a poor example for his staff.I want to file a formal complaint but Verizon probably won’t care!

Very friendly and helpful staff. I have an older LGG5 that no longer picked up GPS and was dropping calls. I took it into the store and was immediately helped. The rep suggested a new SMS card and put it in for me, explaining if that didnt work that I should make a warranty claim. It did help with the dropped calls but not the GPS so I followed the employees directions and made the warranty claim. Now my phone has Oreo 8.0 and works perfectly. Thank you Verizon, awesome job.

My wife and I went in today to fix my cell phone and perhaps replace it. I got this sales rep named Rubin. Rude, rude, rude and disrespectful. He told him what was wrong with my cell phone and mentioned I probably needed to replace it and he never looked at my old phone from that point on. I asked him for assistance in moving my info from my old phone to the new and he said I can do it myself. I showed him my old jelly bean case and wanted a similar one and he took me over to a rack and said this is what we have. He never looked at my old cell case. He never really listened to what I was saying and then would not respond to my questions. His mission was to get my new cell phone and be done with it. When we left my wife told me she had been in the day before and got Rubin and she had experienced the same exact treatment. This was the 3rd new Samsung Galaxy S 4 we had bought in 1 week. The help and assistance at the Barrett Parkway store is incredible. Bought 2 there. We will always go there in the future. You might as well shut this one down in Woodstock or just fire Rubin. His type of behavior will drive business away.

Jon Sharkey and MikeCaptain Jocassee Kapcheck were amazing. I had a galaxy s4 that was crashing. Jon was able to transfer my precious photos over to a memory card and put in ny new S9. Wow.....what an amazing phone. Thank you guys.

Staff standing around doing nothing, with their iPads in hand, while we wait for service from someone else who is busy. Every staff person should be crossed-trained so people dont have to wait. Horrible customer service..

I was, until a few days ago, a verizon customer for over 15 years. I thought that longevityΒ  meant something. I was never late on my payment, never pitched a fit when my bill increased. Never caused any problems with Verizon. I was a loyal customer. About 10 days ago, I was forced to do a system update on my phone that was just shy of two years old. Right after that update, my charging capabilitiesΒ  stopped working. My phone would not recognize that the charger was in the port. It would also shut down at around 25% charged, saying the battery was dead. My phone was in prestige condition, untilΒ  the software update.Β  I took it to a verizon store. The one located in Woodstock GA. I was told the best they could do was ship me a new phone that would arrive two days later. I explained that my phone wouldnt last two days, let alone through the end of the day, as it only charged to 13% over a 12 hour period over night.Β  I also explained that I was $96 from paying off my current phone and I was more than happy to buy a new phone, if they would just wave my $96 payoff fee. I was willing to give you more money for the next two years! All I asked them to do was wave that fee so that I could walk out the door with a phone that charged. I received no help what so ever. I left the verizon store with my same uncharged phone. I felt very neglected after 15 years of service. I took myself right across the street and signed up with At&t. So not only did VerizonΒ  lose a very loyal customer, but they also lost several thousand dollars of service charges that would have accrued over the next few years. All over $96 whooping dollars. Seems pretty stupid if you ask me.
