Started using the Kroger app for 2 months after I finally caught on that Instacart was over charging by more than 15% (including the mandatory 5% Service Fee) for my Publix orders. Bye-bye Instacart. All had been well until my experience yesterday (Monday). Over $70 worth of my order were not placed in my trunk and there were 3 bags of groceries belonging to someone elses order! To top it all off, the pre-packaged Deli Ham from the free groceries had an expiration date of 8/14 (two weeks expired). I reached out to the manager, Lilliam Torrabas, for resolution. She stated that my missing food items of $13 would be free if I came up and got them. The $60 of adult beverages (UGA football party!) would have to be investigated further (was she calling me a liar???). Had not heard from Lilliam so I reached out to Lilliam today. On-duty manager stated Lilliam was off today and tomorrow. On-duty manager stated Lilliam left no notes so she couldnt do anything and I would have to wait until Thursday for her to return to work. Something is wrong with this Krogers desire to provide outstanding Customer Service as they claim. And CHECK the expiration dates!
Could be a 5 star Kroger if they would enforce the masks to enter. Wear a mask, wear a mask, heavens sakes it just a mask. Be gone Karen and Chads! Wear a mask!
Waited long to get call through and finally someone picked up and I simply asked if they had gas and the reply was we cant disclose that information. Very bizarre how Highway 92 Kroger in Woodstock, GA is contributing to the madness and frenzy playing games during a gas shortage! Kroger sells a product yet wont disclose to their customers if that product they sell is available or not!? So drive there and waste gas in a gamble to see if they have any available gas? Why not just Inform your customers over the phone so we can all help save gas? Some of us are dependent on fuel to travel to make a living, we cant be out driving around on a wild goose chase trying to see if you have gas or not. Avoiding this Kroger in the future.
I have been trying to call your Kroger for 15 minutes and no one is answering.
Excellent customer service in the Pharmacy, they helped by taking my GoodRX discount card without giving me a big hassle like my previous pharmacy.
The pharmacy at this location is seriously bad. Bad as in, the worst Ive ever personally experienced. We have had three prescriptions sent here from our pediatrician and all three times, the prescriptions were not ready when we went to pick them up. Today, my wife had to wait for over half an hour on a prescription that was sent over yesterday afternoon. The previous (2nd) time, I had a sick toddler with me and not only was the prescription not there (it was, they just missed it), I then had to wait ~45 minutes(!) with a fussy, sick toddler to get it filled. My God! Why does every prescription take so long to fill at this location? Publix can manage it WITHOUT me having to call the pharmacy beforehand. Never again! Ill be going to Publix from now on.
This is the finest of all Krogers. Despite the occasional Karen customer trying to crush their spirit, the people who work here seem like they really want to be here. They are super helpful. Especially the meat counter guy. Unlike the ones closer to atlanta, this Kroger has enough people running checkouts that you dont have to self-scan a whole cart full of groceries. Since the kind of attitudes that Im seeing generally come from top down, Im guessing the manager is good people.
Store is always very clean and a great selection of orchids. The markdown aisle is amazing and the staff are very friendly. The manager can be seen on the floors frequently and is very helpful. Keep up the great work out there!
Since the pandemic, Ive been doing my grocery shopping early in the morning. This Kroger opens at 5 a.m. Im usually the first or second one in the store.
I can’t even give this Kroger pharmacy a half star because they are SO AWFUL. I moved and changed my pharmacy to this Kroger and the 3 times that I have called over a couple months, it rings about 15 times, they pick up and immediately put me on hold. It then will start ringing again and they pick up and immediately hang up on me, EVERY SINGLE TIME I CALLED. Not to mention the 1st time I filled my sons RX there, they said it wouldn’t process and to call the insurance company. I did and the insurance company said it was the pharmacy’s fault. I will continue to use the other Kroger that is out of the way and NOT this one. HORRIBLE!
To the Pharmacy dept: Was just horridness! We went here to get my BF asthma medicine and we needed help to find the right inhaler. They said his order was ready, but when we got there, they said they forgot to fill it and this is not the first time. There was a lady telling us to leave because were holding up the line as my BF was having an asthma attack! Your job is to help those in needs with meds! Lives matter! This place may be convenient for us, but wow, rather drive further to get better help. Next time, treat people in need better, bless your heart!
I’ve bought food from here that’s been opened upon opening package and seeing supposed to be sealed food. I’ve bought steak that’s supposed to be good but smells rancid. I’ve bought bread that’s labeled good and it’s far from that and stale. I’m not sure what the heck is going on here at all because most Kroger’s I’ve ever used have been more than ok but this one needs to have a meeting and get their stuff together because it’s insane and ridiculous 0 stars.
Very rude pharmacy staff.
Mold on their bread with it expiring as much as a week ago! This has happened on more than one occasion. Avocados, cherry tomatoes and other produce completely squishy and should have been thrown out days before.
The hwy 92 Kroger sales bad, expired food under manager special, so be careful buying anything that has the manager specials sale on it. You cannot get a refund if the food is bad and on the manager special sale. Be careful!
The Kroger fuel center is one of my stops every day. Heather one of the employees that works the fuel center is A+. She is always very friendly and always has a Smile on her face. Glad to have her at our Local Kroger!
Great grocery store, great employees. Really nice and helpful every time I go. Including the general manager who I always see running around working hard to keep everything in order. 4 stars because they sometimes dont have enough cashiers, and then the line gets crazy long.
Great place to shop, had some new Salsa and tacos for tomorrow night. Kroger is open until 1am great place to go to at night no one is there.
Called the pharmacy- staff was RUDE and not helpful. Had my meds called in elsewhere!
The people here are great, very helpful.
Just left this location. After entering all the sanitizer stations were empty! Continued through the store and there’s no sanitation stations anywhere, but on the self check screen it has a big red sign to not spray the screen but yet no one is wiping down after ANY customers. With only two lanes open I was forced to use self check which is no biggie but I had time to watch and notice this store didn’t following any cdc guidelines - unacceptable!! Please do better and check the attitudes at the customer service desk!! Maybe it’s time for his shift to end!
Convenience and easy to get in and out.
I went to this Kroger store to get prescriptions filled, and they were super nice. The Pharmacist was very sympathetic when I told her that I was in pain because I had 2 teeth extracted. She expedited my request. She talked to me, explained in laymans terms what I should do. She was so caring and concerned. I appreciate the awesome customer service. While I was waiting I went to the deli for soup. They didnt have hot soup, so she suggested that I pay first and they would warm it up for me. Sorry, I didnt get her name). I thanked her for her kindness and professionalism. I truly love this Kroger and I hope that it continues through out the holiday season and beyond.
This review is for the pharmacy. I had a prescription called in by my sons doctor and when we went to pick it up the pharmacist told us she didnt fill it because we had never picked up from there before. Then she asked why that was, as if it was any of her business. I guess she had never heard of people moving to new areas and having to get prescriptions filled at new pharmacies.Otherwise, this is your standard Kroger. They have good selection and stuff in the produce area is fresh.
I live over 1,000 miles away and my son works in your area. I called your bakery department to see if you could deliver a birthday cake. Yvonne agreed and delivered the cake on HER OWN TIME! Very satisfied and impressed. Thank you!
This particular location has the worst customer service of any kroger Ive ever gone to I have been a customer for theirs for over 30 years I actually until to day preferred them over Publix you can never get any service in the store and everyone who works there when you ask them a question acts like theyre lost Leeann the store manager obviously is not doing a good enough job training the employees. Do yourself a favor and go across the street to Publix you may spend more but youll have a way better experience
We only go to this Kroger whenever we forget to buy specific spices that not too many places have or pastries. Never ever heard of Kroger before moving to the area and first impression was that this store is overpriced. I get better quality vegetables and meat even at Walmart.
15 minutes, 8 miles vs 5 minutes, 2 miles. Sometimes I still go here because this is another world. Produce a zillion times better than 92 near Wade Green. This store overall is very well managed. GM here genuinely helpful, friendly. This store is clean, well stocked,
Just don’t go here. Left an initial review of 3 stars and they’re just worse and worse every time. Kroger’s are typically good, but you’ll be better off going to the publix across the street. This place is horrible and I’ve been a life long Kroger shopper
Overall a fine Kroger comparably but less variety than the one close by on hwy 5, possibly because its smaller than that one. Their plant department is bland compared to ones close by. I know Towne Lake gets a great selection of houseplants that are hard to find. This one gets basically nothing but peace lilies and other dull houseplants. :/
Best place for grocery shopping and love the fuel points! Love clicklist! Not sure what is going on with the pharmacy. Seems very understaffed. Prescriptions are never filled in a timely manner. Communication is awful. They are nice but, if they werent the best price, I would never go there again.
The Kroger fuel center is one of my stops every day. Heather one of the employees that works the fuel center is A+. She is always very friendly and always has a Smile on her face. Glad to have her at our Local Kroger!
This place is usually really good so Im not sure what happened tonight. Was going to get some chicken fingers from the deli but it seemed like the employees were too busy talking amongst themselves to help me. I guess Ill stick to Publix from now on...
I like salmon and always believed Kroger had the best salmon. Today for the 3th time, i had to return stinky salmon. Yes, they refund the money, but they cant refund the time and the gas it takes to bring the stuff back. Come on Kroger, you can do better.
Great selection and prices.
Great place to shop, had some new Salsa and tacos for tomorrow night. Kroger is open until 1am great place to go to at night no one is there.
I’m switching to Publix for now on because the pharmacy tech is SO RUDE!!!! She ALWAYS has an attitude! Last time I called in my prescription I wanted to change the discount card to make my prescription cheaper Since I dont have insurance and she wouldn’t let me get a word in and kept cutting me off and huffing and puffing like it was an inconvenience for her to do her job!!! That was the final straw!!! I’m over Kroger, id rather spend a couple more bucks and take my business to Publix! It’s cleaner and the service is outstanding!!
Staff is amazing, produce is usually lacking, pharmacy is almost always slow, but the store itself is always dependable, rain, sleet, snow, you name it, they are always there for you! Management is great and the cashiers and customer service is always fantastic. You grow to love the cashiers and know them by name, which is always a really nice thing to see familiar faces who know you when you come in! :)
This is my closest Kroger, but it seems old, tired and crowded. The staff is incredibly nice and quick, so their is so much potential for this location. The company is improving the store, because it is getting a new gas station, so I am hoping this Kroger will be getting an interior refurbishment as well. Would definitely be my regular Kroger if it was just a bit nicer.
My favorite part about this location is that they have an area JUST for the vegan/vegetarian/gluten free items. Generally krogers do have the same but the difference is the way its set up. The set up at the Woodstock location is ideal. Thanks guys!
Kroger stores are always my favorite. Good prices and great selection for healthy, organic options. Great fruits and vegetables, too. I like the choices for organic beef. Pretty much the only grocery store I shop at.
As I was shopping an employee by the name or Mike asked if I needed help finding anything. I inquired about a shrink wrapped pallet of water that had my favorite brand, that was out of stock on the shelf. Mike indicated that the night crew would stock the water, but that he would be happy to get me what I wanted. As we approached the pallet another employee, Will was already cutting open the pallet for another customer. This customers water was on top, he gladly handed it to the customer. He then looked at me with a frown, and was like what do you want??? The water that I wanted was a few down the pallet, which made him upset. He stated angrily, that now he has to break down the pallet, and started slamming the cases of water onto the floor. Mike offered to help, which he ignored. He then went to shove the water at me, which Mike politely took instead and walked it to my cart. Will is extremely rude and nasty and has no concept of customer service, he doesnt like to be inconvenienced by customers. Mike on the other hand is fantastic!!!! Thanks again for your help Mike!!!
This is an average Kroger. The pharmacy is amazing so Im giving them the 5 stars! They have went above and beyond for my with his prescriptions. My son is disabled so he has a lot of medications he has to take and they keep it in stock. The pharmacist is so sweet!!
I would give it a zero star if I could. They wouldnt return an item purchased at another kroger, even with a receipt. Suggested I try and take it back to the store I purchased it, which was not close. The item was only 4 dollars. Should be able to return it at any kroger location. Your company can do better!!. Now I know why some kroger stores are closing.
My husband and I have been going to this Kroger for two years now. We live basically walking distance away, so the location is perfect. But, the service, is terrible. Theres never been a time where the lines are insane because they only have one register open. Almost ALWAYS they are out of things. It seems like they lack in quickness when stocking their shelves. We shop every single Sunday for our weekly groceries and its never been a pleasant experience. Im really bummed since its the closest location for us. Management should be trained better in my opinion.
Just remodeled. Looks great. Good selection and best prices for the majority of items. My wife and I pass 3 other stores to come here.
I only go to this Kroger in an emergency situation. Why? It smells weird, it seems like no one is working there and when I call to inquire, I either don’t get someone to pick up the phone or if I do, they are pretty dismissive. Not sure what has happened, but with the self serve registers, I think they must have gotten rid of all their employees. Much to improve, but hopefully they will when they finish renovating.
Its Kroger, but the manager is a hands on guy, he really knows the pulse of the customers. He will even greet you as he is walking around to ensure everyone. Taken care of. Pretty cool, you dont really see that any more.
I shop at this Kroger every weekend, and drive past 2 publix and an Aldi to get there. This is such a great store! Clean, always stocked, and all the employees are so friendly and helpful. This is the only place Ill go to shop with my 2 year old daughter.
All the kids car carts have broken seatbelts so having 3 kids under 4 makes it hard to have a reliable cart. I have to put two inside a regular cart and thats not safe. This location does not have the kids cart where two children can sit up top in the car.
Convenient but not like yhem one on Canton or Sandy Plains. This is strictly a grocery location. If you need produce or floral, go to one of the other ones
Not much of a selection on fruits. Out of most tomatoes. The rotisserie chicken salad used to be good, but now its dry & the chicken pcs are the size of walnuts & 2 to 4, 1/2 grapes (thats one or 2 grapes
Best staff ever. Always willing to help with a smile
Outdated Kroger with no sushi station. Their seafood selection is very limited and not fresh looking. Meat cuts are also lacking. They need to upgrade this Kroger. Cashiers are slow and do not want to be there. Only plus is its near my home and the gas prices.
Below is from 3 years ago. Refer to the current review 5-2021 below that.Always expect a long wait at the deli. I dread needing deli meat for that reason. The store is clean and organized. The employees are always very friendly. The prices are very reasonable compared to other chains of grocery stores.5-2021 awful store, dirty, rotten produce, no one acknowledges the deli. You wait and wait to find someone. I bought no bake chocolate cookies. Got home ate 2 of them and the next morning wanted another one..early a.m. and saw fuzzy stuff on them. MOLD MOLD all over all of them and the sell by date was a week expired. Thankfully I inspected the fuzzy stuff closely. Id like to score the store 0 star.
Self checkout lady racist. Watch her greet this white guy in self checkout asked him if he needed help and how his night was going. Then comes over by me and watch me as if I’m going to steal something! Don’t greet me like she did him and just was being rude. Treat everybody the same and treat others the way you’d like to be treated. Just because I’m black don’t mean I’m going to steal from you all store. Please hire more cultured individuals.
We always shop here at this Kroger. It gets a bit frustrating though when I have to drive to another store for milk. There were a few items that were not in stock..or at least on the shelves. Milk. Raspberry danish. Prime rib and horseradish potato chips . This just so happened to be 80% of my list.. holidays are here and I know my family is visiting! Hince the strange list. We will keep coming back to shop.. thanks guys!
Best prices. Points for cheaper gas means Im getting good quality food at a decent price and keeping my gas bill low.
This is s smaller Kroger...but by no means its less in quality, the food, the staff and the atmosphere is fantastic. This was my first visit, very pleased.
As a fellow grocery worker I give this place a 2.... not for the store but for customer service...the store itself is a 4 if not higher. I walked in with a sprouts work, not one associate said hey to me or asked how I was doing...whats even worst is I haven’t gotten to the self checkout...where the young lady is in charge has her nose in her phone the whole time..not once did she look up...I’m positing this sitting in the car after my experience e. It’s 8:47pm. I hope you guys can fix your customer service and get that girl off her phone for once. Thanks.
Store is always clean, shelves are always stocked. If there is a long line at the resgisters, they will open another line up for you. Staff is very friendly and helpful as well.
Great visit, had three things to buy. Found them easily, checked out and was on my way.
Went to the pharmacy to pick up two prescriptions. The associate that was checking me out with Kristina.I’ve never dealt with somebody as rude as her.So unprofessional.Does it need to be working in the pharmacy.
Nicest Kroger I have ever been to, its always first in The area to get renovations or new technology. Theres a nice variety of products, but their meat and deli is not the best.
Please update or refresh this Kroger. I feel like it is the 1980s when I walk in there. The Kroger on Sandy Plains is much nicer.
Its almost as nice as Publix. Employees are nice and the place is well kept.
They are pretty good at opening up a register if a lot of customers are waiting. The staff is pretty friendly.
Good experience, found quickly all I needed. Good products.
ALL the employees are super friendly! Prices and selections are great. Tonight, being Sunday, the alarm went off as I was leaving the store. The cashier said NO WORRIES. ITS PROBABLY YOUR PHONE. I appreciated that as it was kind of embarrasing. I left the store to go and get a dry buggy and went back into the store to shop. After checking out, as so approached the exit, the doors opened and the alarm went off again! This has never, ever happened again. The cashier said to not pay attention to the alarm. Other than that, its great to go Krogering! One more thing, I still shop at Publix because their meats seem to cook better and not so tough. Still love Kroger!
Good Ole Fashioned Kroger. Very nice in recent years.
Very friendly staff and nice prices on the items were looking for.
My review may be a little biased as I often stop by to location on Green and Arnold Mill on ny way home from work, a location that brings many more fresh and exciting items to the floor. This location is smallerand just does not have the capacity to bring everything out. But that does not make it a poor location. They still have most of what you need and, of course, the staff is very friendly and kind to you.
Worst team of management all around the store. No care for the customers, employees or themselves. Store needs to be fixed
The GM here does such a great job. I believe he genuinely cares about his store and customers
Love this Kroger just big enough and packed with loads of goodies and good priced.
Easy to get through the store and find what you need.
Its dark and cluddered. Employees are not very friendly. Prices are good sometimes so I will go there. Otherwise I avoid going.
Not enough electric carts for handicapped people. Had to go through the store hunched over like the the hunchback of Notre Dame.
Always a bunch of smiling helpful people willing to help you. Love my Woodstock Kroger!
Always have a great selection, open till 1 am...love my late night shopping
I just love Krogers lower prices.
This is my favorite Kroger, friendly and helpful every time!
It had great labor day sales and very courteous sales clerks
Best Kroger ever. Old fashioned looking inside but quick and helpful service
Favorite grocery store thst always gas great prices daily
Well stocked grocery store with helpful staff.
Lines are always short. Shelves apways stocked. Never have any problems.
Certainly lots of choices! I used the digital coupons... amazing!
I love the Kroger Plus points I get when I shop here, I get groceries, medications and I can fill up my gas tank while I am there!! Bonus!!
Clean store, rarely any problems, recently renovated - but my favorite is the managers section first aisle to the right of self checkout where the discontinued and older but still ok foods are kept. Loaves of bread for $0.98, whole pies and bear claw boxes for $1.99, etc. Love this kroger especially for this section. I havent seen any other Krogers that have this - my favorite way to save money.
Great full service grocery store and fuel
I always enjoy Kroger.and their points to save money on gas
Best place to shop and get everything you want.
Clean,it is a older store but it is easy to get in and get out with groceries.
Recently remodeled. Can find deals via mail and mobile app, also save at the pump.
But as good as the one on town lake but still better than Publix.
Good place to shop. Kroger sends out checks you can spend on their store.
I stop to get fuel and coca cola bottle and the employee name heather had a attitude and said she did not have change for $100 bill so there couldnt fuel up on my vehicle.
Pretty clean and always well stocked. I like that hey have a gas station.
Gas pumps worked, loyal card great points.
