The guy on the floor was awesome and helped my husband and I very quickly. Though the cashier shouldnt be working there! I hate to say that but she gave me the wrong change twice even after I told her what the amount I should of received back. She even questioned the amount I gave her. I know the store is new and Im sure the register told her how much you give back the customer. I had even told her didnt give the correct change and her drawer would be off. She went on and said oh well... it will wok out. Not a receipt either. Just very bad customer service. Definitely makes me not want to come back to that store again!

Had an issue with a propane tank that had been improperly filled previously and they took great care of us. Beautiful new store!

I just moved to downtown Woodstock and have been anxiously awaiting the opening of the new Ace Hardware. I happened to need something on 9/7/21. I made my first trip to the new store, arriving at 7:55AM. No other cars in parking lot. I pulled my vehicle up to the front door. The employees were standing inside the store leaned up against the counter and saw me pull up. I watched an employee run to the front door to lock it. I know he locked it as I got out of my vehicle thinking he was unlocking it. However, it was locked. It was 5 minutes until time to open! I should have left, but waited until the same man unlocked the door 5 minutes later. I walked in store and told them that I had never seen a store personnel see someone approaching the door and run up and lock it in their face. I told them that was rude. Not a very smart way to start a new location and attract customers. They did not have the two things I needed anyway and I left. I won’t be back. I will stick to the nearby big box stores. It’s a shame.Tim McCracken.

We have been going to Morgans since we moved to Woodstock in 2004. Go... They are an institution here. Why, because the level of customer service is always phenomenal. They are always helpful, friendly and have what we need - everytime (and) if by chance not they will get it without hassle. While you are in the store no searching for someone to help; there is more times than not a staffer walking around the store waiting to help. Now, they have a bigger location right down the road from the old one. More stuff... Yay! Morgans is a modern (general) store with all the convenience of (those box ones) without the hassle and bad customer service. Save time, your money and eliminate frustration, go to Morgans.

Went for a threaded rod,and other things for a project restoration. Found mostly everything. Helpful staff and great service.Wish they carried more industrial and automotive bolts etc.. Maybe at the thier new building since its next too Bell Industrial Park.Highly recommend to give them a try.

I liked the old location in downtown, old school hardware store with character and hated that it had to move for a boring (but much needed) parking garage.However I like the new store too... seems a bit larger and more of a selection in various departments than the former downtown location. I went the first week it was open and walked every isle to see it all. I plan to be a regular of this location too.

Went in for some threaded rod, clevis pin and another part that we are working on a project. Understanding this is NOT a automotive or industrial bolt, nuts and specialty faster store but they do have a pretty good selection of items.Great customer service, friendly people and if they dont have what youre looking for thier not asahemed to tell you, so youre not wasting your time.I do hope when they move to the fancy nice building down the street, they will incorporate more automotive and industrial nuts, bolts and special parts ordering since they will be closer to the Bell Park Industrial complex. That would be great and more business for them.Recommend giving this place a try and hope they go more industrial on stuff since relocating next to the industrial park.

I went to get help on an Allen wrench to fix for my old handheld microphone. I ended up getting more than I expected from Bill and Dixie who came near the end. Not only did Bill fix the problem, but made my mic as good as new. Bill not only took the time fixing the problem, but was patient in making sure every step taken was cleared and worked to my advantage. Even with other things going on he took time in fixing and repairing the problem, but was personal in his service. I will definitely come back if I need anything else and would recommend Morgans, Bill, and Dixie to anyone need a fix or tool for a tough and in this case specialty job.

Everytime Ive called or shopped at Morgans Ace Hardware, Ive had exceptional customer service. A week ago I stopped in looking for something and what I needed isnt made in the size I need (isnt at other home improvement stores or online - I checked). Instead of trying to sell me something to replace what was damaged, I was told how I could easily repair it with a couple things I already have at home, thus saving me money... their suggestion worked and worked well. A few days later I needed something else and since I had the children with me I called to see if they had it in stock - they did and immediately offered to have it for me at the front so I could get it quickly and easily. The children came with me and were quite excited to find all sorts of things they wanted me to take pictures of and my youngest son was over the moon excited to see some John Deer toys he hopes Ill get him for Christmas. ;-) The customer service at Morgans is definitely far superior to their much larger competitors.

Nice store with lots of stuff. Website said they had certain 20x25x6 air filters in stock. Got there and they said no, you have to order. Call before you go.

Larry was by far the most helpful guy around. I had to call around to a lot of auto parts stores and hardware stores to get a replacement remote key for my vehicle. When I talked to Larry on the phone, he gave me more info and asked more questions than anybody else I talked to - even at other Ace Hardwares. Actually went to a different Ace because the lady on the phone said that they could help me, but they couldnt. Larry stood by his word and had us in and out in about 15 minutes - which is shorter than the guy had us at the Ace that didnt help us!

I really love this place its very convenient. They dont have everything the big Box stores have but when you just need 1 or 2 things its so much easier to get in and get out. The people are very friendly and very helpful and they know where everything is.

Very nice staff, clean, organized and very helpful. If you have ever lived in a small town as a child and grew up with a hardware store that had everything, this is that store. I will definitely come back and will go here before I fight with the hassle of Home Depot and Lowes.

I’ve shopped there since 1988 and have been mostly pleased with the service and products offered. There have been hiccups along the way but they always squared things away. Recently, and for the second time, they got some pricing wrong that had to be fixed at checkout. The price was always marked up and I was given the option of “returning” the product or “Did I still want it” ? No biggie really. On my most recent trip however, I went in to buy a Stihl saw that I had eyed the week before and got a quote of $669 from Larry. I figured it was on promotion since it was less than msrp. They had another Pro saw on promotion a week or two earlier. (The 500i for $1215) So, I went in to get it and was told it was $730. A mgr came over and explained Larry had made a mistake but if I still wanted the same it would $739. My wife and I left and I bought the saw elsewhere for $740. If you’re gonna empower somebody to sell chainsaws and quote prices you should stand behind them. He should have sold the saw for $669. Maybe lost s few $ but would have retained a customer. I went to Morgan’s Ace Hardware with my very pregnant wife and 3 year old son to pick up some materials for a deck refinishing project at our home. I had never been there and wanted to give a shot at supporting a local business over a big box store, and what a mistake that was. My wife who is very pregnant needed to use a restroom while my son and I shopped for sandpaper and other various materials. They told my wife that she wasn’t not allowed to use the restroom and it would be impossible for her to use the restroom there. I was a would be paying customer with a pregnant wife who needed to use the restroom and was told that wasn’t allowed. I will never return and will take my business else where. In a world where big box stores offer better pricing, customer service should be a priority; at Morgan’s Ace Hardware it is not. As a note; regardless of COVID denying restroom use to a paying customer, and pregnant woman no less is appalling.

Nice small town hardware store. Staff are friendly and helpful. However check your receipt before leaving. Ive been there twice and overcharged twice. First time I did not report it the second time I did. Was told to bring receipt in and they would correct it.

I took my Stihl backpack blower in for repair back in March 2020.They told me three and a half weeks. 7 weeks later and I STILL AMGETTING THE RUN-AROUND. Its always three to five days beforethey can even look at it. I bought the blower from them, however, Iwill NEVER STEP FOOT IN THE STORE AGAIN NOR WILL I RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE!!!!

Store does not accept any returns of any kind. I do a lot of small projects & hobbies & often times I’ll buy too many odds and ends or the wrong size something. As convenient as a small town hardware store is. I’d much rather go to a big box retailer, where I can exchange or replace the wrong items or things I don’t need. It’s just not cost-effective. And in 2020 to have a store we’re all sales are final is a bit ridiculous.

Have never been to this Ace Hdwe. Dropped off my mower for service. What a dump. Decided to pick my mower up without service. Spoke with Paul who needs to freshen up his customer service skills. Will never go back.

I love going to Morgan Ace Hardware. It was the Stihl tools that first brought me in. They have a little bit of everything including some great gift items.

The people here have always been kind and helpful everytime I go in.

Did what I could for my Craftsman lawnmower, but it wouldn’t start, then the pull cord broke. Ace fixed it. Starts right up and I think it runs even better than when it was new 8 yrs or so ago. Fills the bag with grass where it never had before. Very pleased!

Vicky was great I had an issue to get some keys made for my car. She went the extra mile to help me out. She has help me in the past, always friendly and helpful. Ace is very lucky to have her as an employee. Thanks

Came here to purchase a chainsaw. Staff was friendly and helpful, and very knowledgeable about the product. They even gassed it up, filled it with bar oil, cranked it up, and adjusted everything for me before they carried it out to my car! Impressive service! Ill definitely be back...

Glad Morgan is going to stay in the neighborhood after they move next year!! My husband is so happy-- now we live by two or three tool stores. But Morgan always seems to have the best things, hard to find anywhere else.
