These are popping up all over and I believe this is taking away from the importance of good customer service. I live very close to 1 that I only go to if I forget something when driving by several others. I have never had a good experience at this particular Dollar General. Which leads me to believe it goes up the chain of command. The other night was the straw that really killed it for me. The girl was talking to the other girl behind the registers, they were deep in conversation about personal stuff. There was a line of 3 people at the register. She finally came over. Never said hello, never told me my total, in fact, while I was processing my CC she turned away to avoid having to acknowledge anyone. She is getting paid to do a job. She is there because of customers. If there were no customers, there would be NO need for her. She went to hand me my receipt and I said, Im so sorry we bothered you. Of course, she took immediate offense to that. I mean how was I the one who inconvenienced her for buying a product from the store that is paying her to do a job. I was so frustrated after leaving the store. I got online and read all kinds of negative reviews from a lot of Dollar Generals. Its really sad. Why isnt this being addressed? Why is it ok to treat customers this way?

I work here and while the prices are always going to bad for a small store, the employees and customers are great people.

Staff is not friendly or helpful. Store is always out of stuff like propane, cigarettes, beer etc.

The employees here are always wonderful. They provide great customer service every time. The selection is really nice, and this location is really great because its the quickest way to do a small grocery run when you live outside of town.

Before this Dollar General location opened we had to drive in to Waco for anything we couldnt get at a gas station. Now we have a store close to home with a larger selection and better pricing than before. Gets busy during heavy commutes so sometimes expect to wait in line. An extra employee during high volume would be nice.

Everyone was so kind and helpful and the store was very clean.

We love Dollar General you get $5 off on Saturdays when you get a coupon they always have pretty much what you need and they have some decent clothes in there definitely good cookies and chips good deals on sodas ice creams pretty much anything you can think of. Our local dollar store is very convenient and the staff is very friendly.

Its a good place to go if you gotta get something real quick. But its not good service because theres usually only one person working there at time.

Staff are rude, and will inform you how much they hate to work there, I personally avoid this place and drive the extra mile to a different store

Manager stood there while line was getting longer didnt help till 6 people were in line

There is always a cart infront of aisles so you have move them to get to the things behind the cart.They are not very friendly and hardly say a word while they are checking you out.

Watch the price switches between the signs on the aisle and at the checkout counter.

When your in a hurry they have almost everything that you usually need. Cant beat the prices!
