My girlfriend and I were looking to get some new sunglasses adjusted. We wondered into LensCrafters and met Mike, who was wonderful and very delicate with our glasses. Customer care was outstanding, helping me pick the best frames for me. I already had a good idea of all the options that were available since I was a returning customer, have purchased my last glasses from LensCrafters. Only cataract surgery prevented that last pair lasting more than 10 years.

One of the arms on my glasses broke off so I went in to get them fixed. They guy was super helpful and nice. They didnt even ask if I got my glasses from them (I hadnt) and there was no charge. 10/10 would recommend.

Damaged ray bands with severely bent temple hinge.Matt at lens crafters was able to repair my glasses completely. I didnt think it was possible but he made it happen.Service was excellent and will return with any of my glasses needs.

Rick and Mike were extremely pleasant to work with, showed in-depth knowledge of their craft and products, and made the process of finding new glasses completely painless. Trash customer service. Have been waiting in line for 20 minutes now to get glasses I already paid for. They have not even made eye contact or acknowledged o existed. All I want was maybe a simple “we will be with you in a second” and to maybe hear it will take a while. I don’t have anywhere to be but what I did? I am not a difficult person either this is just TRASH service.

I have been going to the Asheville Mall Lens Crafters for over two years and I have been getting excellent customer service. The people there are extremely competent, helpful in finding the best prices, and willing to take the time to make a good fit. Today I had to replace one of my eye glass lenses.The associate who assisted me today was extremely helpful and went out of his way to fix my problem. Thank you! My family and I will continue to use this Lens Crafters.

Awful experience!! First of all they have half their entrance is blocked off which is very unwelcoming, you then wait at the front expected to be greeted. It took several minutes before I was acknowledged despite the fact that four employees were in the building - one behind the register and three talking amongst themselves. When finally asked how they could help me I said I was looking for frames, they just then pointed to the wall and told me to put what I tried on in a tray and let me go on my way. They then went back to their conversation, after about 10 minutes I decided this was not the place I needed to get my glasses. I had several questions but no one willing to help. Sad to see such poor service.

Dont waste your time anywhere else. After making an appointment to update my prescription I walked right in and placed my order for my new lenses. I was in and out in 15 minutes. All the employees, Donnie, Rick and Rachel, are absolutly delightful, professional and blissfully friendly. After not even a week I recieved the text that my lenses were ready to pick up. As I returned to get them set into my frames, I was greeted by name as I walked into the store. You do not get service like this very often these days from large corporations. This store is the exception to that rule. Their lab was quick and efficient as well. Cutting my lens to my frame only took about 30 minutes. While we waited Donnie helped my wife and I look at new glasses for her. We will be back for her glasses because of the excellent service.

I recently purchased a pair of glasses at LensCrafters in the State of Arizona before moving here to Asheville. Upon trying to obtain my state license and registration I was unable to pass the vision test with my new glasses. The specific distance test they gave me left me unable to read the lettering on the eye test. Needless to say I was quite disappointed and returned to the local store here to find out what could be done about the matter.Upon arriving at the LensCrafters at the Asheville mall I was warmly greeted and assisted by a gentlemen named Michael. He has worked in the eye business for over 40 years, and patiently spent a significant amount of his time in diagnosing the nature of my eyeglass issues. After some tests he determined that the tri-focal glasses I purchased were correctly cut to the Optometrists specifications in Arizona. Upon looking at my old glasses he felt that the new frame simply needed to be pitched properly. In doing so he stated small adjustments such as this can change how light reflects off the glass lenses, and how you ultimately view an object. In retaking a 2nd eye test at the NC License Bureau I was able to properly read the lettering and subsequently obtain my NC license and registration.I would like to thank Michael at LensCrafters for the significant time that he spent in assisting me in this matter. I can recommend him highly for all your needs regarding the purchase and fitting of eye glasses.

The staff got me back quickly for my eye exam and the doctor fully explained everything she was doing. I then picked out frames and had them perfectly fitted to my face. They even fixed my old glasses!

All the staff have been really helpful and such a positive attitude during such a trying time for all of us. But I have to say Rick, the retail manager went above expectations in helping to replace my glasses which I had just purchased. He was able to help me right away and took such a weight off my mind. Exceptional service!!

The customer service was unbelievable from the receptionists to the eye examiners to the floor salesmen and women. They helped me choose a look that is right for me while browsing something I could afford out of pocket. They explained things that I didnt know in a way I could understand, gave me an estimate of price before payment and participated in my excitement as a first time glasses wearer. They also gave me helpful tips on how to properly clean my glasses and take care of them as a first time wearer. They were quick workers and had my glasses ready in 1 hour, sunglasses in 2 hours. I couldnt wait the 2 hours, so they shipped my sunglasses at low cost within days. Customer service afterwards also knowledgeable and responsive. Highly recommend.

I have been a customer of Lenscrafters for many years. I get my eyes checked every year at the office next door but I havent needed new glasses every year. When I do I go to Lenscrafters because of the professionalism of the staff there and the selection of eye wear. I want to thank Chrystal for her kindness and professionalism she showed me while picking out new glasses the other day.

I tried Tunnel Vision, right across the street, as a matter of convenience. I could not look at their inventory. They told me that by law they had to have a signed prescription to duplicate a prescription lens that I was wearing. In short, they made it very hard for me to spend my money. By contrast, we were immediately helped at LensCrafters, the prescription I was wearing was duplicated at my request, and I had a large selection from which to choose . . . immediately. In short, LensCrafters made it very easy for me to spend my money. Well done.

The young lady who assisted us, Chrystal, was very helpful and kind to my young daughter who was getting glasses for her first time.

Lenscrafters in the mall was our third and final stop of the day in a search to find glasses for my four year old son. We really lucked out having Rick help us today. The first two stops of the day included salespeople who were completely unaware of their own products/ labels/ sizing, and people who seemed like theyd never spoken to a four year old before (let alone helped a child select glasses). Rick was so kind and enthusiastic, and with his help, my son didnt even want to take the frames off to leave the store!

Arelis was great. She provided one of best shopping experiences I have ever had ! And I’m 61. She was very thorough, making that I was considering all options. Can’t wait to get my new glasses.

Went in to get a yearly exam which is covered by my insurance...they found a clot or something on my eye and told me if its worse the next time I come In i may need medical attention, I guess they billed my insurance as a medical procedure and not a regular exam, so now I owe them money...do not go here, they will find stuff to charge your insurance for even if they dont do anything.

Today I went in for a new pair of frames, I wanted a change; the staff was really nice and helpful but not overwhelming, let me have my space and take the time to look at things without being pressured, I wish I got the woman’s name who was so sweet to me later in the evening, I believe she was the manager but she was really nice and made sure I was satisfied! Def ask for her :)

My Dad, John Hughes, had a terrible fall. His glasses were broken, and we were at a loss as to the best (and fastest) way to get a new pair. I called LensCrafters and talked with Rick. My goodness! He was so professional, and he knew what lenses you had available, and that Dad could have bifocals the same day! He was so kind, and he took his time in helping me. The following morning, Dad and I came in to the store in the Asheville Mall. We were greeted in such a warm way and given a seat. It didnt take very long until Danielle came to help us. She was very knowledgeable, and she was so warm and helpful in our situation. She fitted the frames to Dads face so that he would not have to come back with me when I picked them up. When I came back to pick them up, a wonderful lady greeted me and gave me his new glasses! (I didnt catch her name, but she is a tremendous asset to your company as well.) All in all, my family would highly recommend LensCrafters...especially your store in the Asheville Mall. Thank you for making a difficult situation so much easier. May God bless you!

Rick, Audrey, and Evette here at this store do an amazing Job. They work hard to get you the right fit once you pick out your glasses. They actually take the time, however long needed to make sure youre comfortable in your frames unlike Americas best. My mom just got cataract surgery and I liked my Ray Ban Andys so much ie. ( they are really sturdy) that I told her I would personally pay for her new glasses here, because she usually gets cheapos at americas best. Rick actually took an hour and a half to get my mom properly fitted with 2 pairs and another 30 minutes for me. Came back today ( the next day) with my prescription to get everything finalized and was amazed at how thorough Audrey was at making sure I got my discount and 12 month promotion. Americas best took only 5 minutes trying to fit mom for glasses and they were done with her. Here I feel like they actually care about you and your eyes. If youve got the means to shop here, do it. Dont waste your time anywhere else. Hopefully your next experience will be as great as ours was!

Quick service and Dr. Morse is awesome!Just be aware they dont get you with their retinal photography charge of $37.00. Which is not covered by insurance. Of course, I know Its my fault for not knowing my deductibles and should have questioned it before paying. Which I was kindly reminded by the staff after noticing my error that yup...I did indeed sign and agree to the charges. Looks like my 16 years of business is going somewhere else 😕 37 bucks aint that much for me to act a fool about, but its the principal of trying to grab a few extra bucks from people that made me loose all respect for this company.

I have had to make several trips to this store to get my new glasses adjusted comfortably and because I was having issues seeing out of the them. The new lenses come in and they have a chip out of it. They ordered the new lenses and they are now here. They have been helpful but I shouldnt have to make so many trips to get a pair of glasses I can see out of. I live over an hour a way and will be in Asheville all the way across town and they cant accommodate customers and transfer the lenses to the store that I will be sitting across from all day. So now I am going to have to spend an extra few hours in Asheville just to get my lenses changed our and hopefully finally my glasses adjusted comfortably because they still do not sit right. Its just been a very frustrating experience this time around.

Love my new progressives - I can see all the things now!tl;dr version: I’m very happy with my glasses, and with Lenscrafters service and value.When a friend called me out on my struggles to read the menu at dinner one night, I knew it was time for reading glasses. I went to LensCrafters in the Asheville Mall. It had been a few years so I first got a comprehensive eye exam at the affiliated ophthalmologist next door then popped over to pick out glasses.I worked with a woman named Arelis throughout the process and she really helped make what’s usually a very painful process quite smooth. Because I also have a correction for near sighted and astigmatisms, she helped educate me on why I might want to go with progressives. I decided to try them and it turns out I really like the fact that I have a middle distance correction because I use a computer for work.Arelis helped me pick out some super cute frames that matched my face shape and my coloring that were also suitable for the progressives. We talked budget and she had me try on a few colors and shapes to get a sense of what looked good and what I liked, then brought targeted pairs for me to try on - so helpful (and she was spot on with those)! I really appreciated that she respected my desire for something fairly basic as my everyday pair, pointing out I could easily get additional funky pairs later. She had a good understanding who I am (which is someone who occasionally wants/needs fashion advice ha but also pretty conservative with my look). If you care at all about how you present, it’s an important decision that you have to feel good about!When I picked up my new glasses, we spent some time going over what to expect as my eyes adjusted and sure enough, how it was described was exactly how it went down.Overall zero complaints and I’m pleased with my experience. I love my new specs. And everyone I encountered at LensCrafters were professional, friendly and helpful. Thanks y’all!

They have a great selection of glasses and the people who work there are very friendly. The wait isnt long and they took my insurance. They were also very accommodating and waited for me to transfer money to my account to pay. However, they messed up my prescription very badly and I was walking around basically blind for a year. My prescription is -2.75 and they gave me -1.50...

I had a great experience from start to finish. Here’s the story with details that show why I was a happy customer. My son and I were visiting from out of town at an outdoor camp. I lost my glasses in the lake while swimming and faced the task of finding a way to see so I could drive home, 7 hours, the following day. It was Memorial Day weekend and 4pm on a Saturday. I had called 3 other stores and finally reached this Asheville Mall Lens Crafters. After speaking with folks at other locations who would not help me at all, my stress finally began to abate speaking with Amanda who worked hard to see if there was anything they could do to help. What ended up happening was they worked me in for an eye exam, and were able to give me temporary contacts within minutes after my exam. I had been very concerned for how I was going to drive my son home the next day. And the folks at this Lens Crafters saved my butt. All of the folks there were sympathetic and kind to me and my son. Amanda, the man who did my preliminary eye exams work, the doctor, and the woman who helped fit my contacts get an A+. Thank you all for helping me avoid the multiple days of stress trying to get back home!

EXTREMELY poor service. The “general manager” and sales person both jumped to sell a new walk in customer glasses while letting me ( with eyeglass lens problem) sit for 15 minutes with no response. They then would not replace their (LensCrafters) faulty lenses because I had had them put their lenses into my frames purchased from another company ; they said that because they were in another company’s frames, they could not help me with the lens.I WILL NEVER SPEND ANOTHER PENNY AT LENSCRAFTERS!!!

After getting my eye exam, trying on glasses and paying, I thought Why all these negative reviews? Then the trouble began. The store manager mis-measured my pupil thing, gave me an inaccurate time frame, then lost my glasses. She promised me an interim pair and mis-measured my pupil thing again. They find my glasses, they are useless because they were AGAIN mis-measured. A new person (not the manager) measures properly and I get my new, properly adjusted glasses two days later. It took about 14 days to get glasses I had been promised in 5 to 6 days, due to the managers repeated mistakes and incompetency. I had to go in 5 times all told. I will say, all of the other employees I interacted with were helpful and good at their jobs. As well, the eye exam was great, the doctor was a pleasant, competent woman, no waiting, insurance was easy. It was just this incompetent manager that was the problem. She had an annoying personality as well and kept calling me Sweetie. Ugh.

Dont get your glasses here. I called them immediately after I picked up my glasses and told the girl on the phone, that my glasses were not sharp. The agent told me to keep them for awhile and bring them back later.When I went back to the Asheville, NC office today, I first let the rep know I had a scratch on my lens which was under warranty. But apparently the $35.00 fee doesnt cover a $25.00 co pay that I was not told about. I was scammed #Scam .#LensCrafters provide extremely cheap chinese-like frames and lenses and they are NOT scratch proof even when you pay for it and like the sales team suggests..The products are made of #Chinese - #Like - #Materials I forgot to mention another set I bought from there less than a year old all the screws are loose on them and they too are all scratched up. Both were extremely expensive as opposed to what else is out there, I paid roughly $800 for the pair. Last but not least, as far as polar sunglasses - I cant tell a bit of difference. I was talked into it by the sales rep. I feel scammed twice.

Doctor was great but when i went to pick out glasses it was horrible. Insurance only paid partial so they tried to upsale me to the highest price. When i told her i needed the cheaper glasses she left and started waiting on another customer. Went to walmart and saved $250.00. Had always bought from lenscrafters but never again.

They do not honor quotes and all kind of excuses. Also, birthday discount is a scam to get you into store. Two trips and a really miserable experience.

Purchased glasses here and had some problems with them a year later they gladly fixed them for me.

We have been a customer for 15 years and spent thousands of dollars over the years, prescription sunglasses lenses for oakley frames that were defective and losing color on edges by the center and they refused to stand behind them ! We will never go there again there !
