Stopped by yesterday to get a new phone . Despite it being a little bit over an hour before closing Cervante (sorry if i butchered your name !!) was great . He was knowledgeable about the products they have in store and extremely patient with me asking 1000 and 1 questions. I highly recommend asking for him as he provides excellent service.

I visited this store on yesterday to port my # from another carrier a day begin service w/ Verizon. I also had purchased a hot spot device and wanted to get a data plan for that. . I got there at 1100 and left at 1:15pm without any Verizon service. While the reps in the store were very nice and attempted to help me they were just not knowledgeable enough to get what I thought we be a simple task done. Even the managers who I thought would be senior level folks that could provide guidance and direction were not knowledgeable. I ended up putting my sim from my old carrier back in my phone and returning to their service. Then when I asked for a refund, they couldn’t even process that. So now I have paid for Verizon service that I can’t even use. After discussion w/ manager he and I felt disputing transaction on my credit card would be best since he couldn’t process refund. Again great group of folks but they need training. Now I have to figure out what to do. Do I try to move forward w/ Verizon or do I choose another provider.

If you go here you have to know which phone you want! They dont have the specs displayed on each phone and when I asked I was told its on the phone.... Nope each phone just displayed phone plans. So I went to another Verizon store! The store on Warwick Blvd by Todd Stadium, that store has specs and enough staff and they are actually knowledgeable!!

I called Verizon for a technician. He stayed for about 20mins checking out my router. Told me there’s nothing he can do to fix my WiFi and to call Verizon back. I’m tired of calling Verizon smh. Can anyone help me Verizon. If I could go to cox cable I would but the neighborhood I’m in only accepts Verizon…

Been a Verizon customer for 11 years. Bought a new phone in 2019 and purchased the insurance. With less than 3 months left, I found out I had damaged my phone. Asurion, the insurance provider, refused all claims and refused to help for over a week. I then went to the store and was refused help as well. I asked about upgrades or promotions but was told I couldnt see them until I paid off the remainder of my phone. I went across the street to AT&T and was given an excellent deal on a new phone and treated excellently. Verizon doesnt care about you, they just want your money. I highly recommend not wasting your time with them, the reputation they held as the best Wireless provider has long since passed.

Employees in store are not as knowledgeable as the Verizon 1-800 number customer service reps and sales reps.The folks in store are helpful as far as purchasing accessories go but if youre looking to make changes to your plan, upgrade phones, add a line, obtain the most discounts and be made aware of all incentives and specials, then I suggest calling the 1-800 number.

This is a review against something that happened in the store. My 2 year old used their hand sanitizer dispenser and the thing shot out directly in her eyes. She was standing out directly at a safe distance and her face wasn’t anywhere near the dispenser. When it happened I yelled to the lady who worked there saying that the hand sanitizer shot out in her eyes and the lady working there just nodded and didn’t do anything. She knew that it shot out. So I ran to the bathroom with my toddler to rinse out her eyes and came back and she had the decency to ask me if she was ok. I said no she had hand sanitizer shot into her face. And I turned the dispenser around to face the wall so it couldn’t shoot anyone else. They knew there was a problem and didn’t do anything to fix it or help out.

Slightly confusing operation to see customers. You can drive up as a walk in but I sugest an appointment. The salesman was very helpful with my options despite me ordering on line after the model I picked was out of stock. Explained the difference between the models I was interested in and how 5G worked in out area right now. .

This store was amazing. Thank you to Kenisha for taking care of me. I ordered wireless service on July 28th and was told that my SIM cards would be shipped to me because all the stores in my area didnt have any in stock according to the online chat rep. I was supposed to receive the SIM cards in two days, so that would mean July 30th delivery date. By Monday, August 2nd I still didnt have any SIM cards. I tried calling Verizon multiple times but could never get a live person. At one point I was listening to music for over 40 minutes. I went to the online chat again and the rep there said my SIM were marked for store pick and that they allegedly went to this location. So Tuesd morning August 3rd I went to this location as soon as they opened. They didnt have my SIM cards but Kenisha was able to get it all figured out and walked out of the store with service. Thank you Kenisha.

Purchased my phone online, needed to transfer everything & get it setup due to our family Geek squad being out of town lol. Rep Jason was awesome!! He was friendly, explained wait time, all my options, etc. Even after asking addtl questions he didnt get upset at my lack of knowledge w/ tech stuff. I recently got an iPhone 12 Pro from this store in-person. The guy who helped me in-store was Tabish and he was a really laid back, personable, and helpful dude however I had a ton of issues getting my old number transferred over to my new phone for reasons that I don’t fully understand or remember but either way I ended up having to go back to the store the very next day at the referral of Verizon support over the phone after trying to take care of the situation myself at home.This is where this store 100% stood out. Another worker in the store, Kenisha helped me after I explained the situation and she ended up having to call Verizon herself over the phone to help with my case. She was persistent and determined to help me in that moment to ensure I did not have to leave and come back to the store over and over again for the same issue. I could tell she was having a hard time with Verizon in the store but due to her diligence she was able to get the situation completely resolved. These days seeing someone care about their job and customer service in that way is rare and I had to leave this review just to say thank you.

Absolute terrible experience at this store. I’ve been a Verizon customer for 12 years and this is by far the worst store I’ve ever visited. Poor customer service, absurdly long wait while staff was sitting down laughing. They didn’t even know the terms of their own promotion and they upgraded my account without asking me. Seriously, one of the worst experiences in any retail store I’ve ever had in my life. If you need to go to a Verizon store, drive a little farther to avoid this one at all costs.

“Jason” (GBM, long untrimmed grayish beard) treated me NASTY today! He constantly belittled me about my knowledge of my iPhone and the settings. He condescended me using a phone and “not reading the owners manual”! His arrogance is duly noted. Then he saw my LGBTQ rainbow sticker on my ballcap and referred to me as “one of the fat ones, huh?” You know, this incident warrants a letter to Verizon Wireless’s CEO without question!

This is horrible. I was supposed to have a SIM card delivered overnight and its been 3 days. Now they have no record of it. They sent me to the store and Ive been waiting out here for over an hour and a half in the parking lot. This is after being on the phone with them for 2 hours today getting passed around. Absolutely horrible customer service. in the past once you get a hold of someone they usually can help you rather quickly but here lately its horrible.

It was ok. Couldnt really help us at all. We had to do everything ourselves. Then when we selected to pick up at the store, got an email that our thousands of dollars phones had already been picked up. When we asked about it, the curly haired employee said that it was being worked on. This total visit time was 2.5 hours with half an hour of it waiting in the parking lot to receive what we paid for. Why did we have to wait half an hour for something that is in the store that we already paid for to be given to us? The employee we worked with, Robert, was very nice, but was not able to help us port the numbers or get any of the discounts we were eligible for because of lack of knowledge on the new machines.

Excellent customer service!! Specifically the associates that worked the afternoon shift on 08/02/18. After having the worst customer service experience at another Verizon location this store in Hampton was a breath of fresh air.I purchased a new Samsung Galaxy S9+ with the screen protector less than a month ago. The screen protector cracked so I placed a claim and got a replacement. I was in the Jefferson, Newport News area so I decided to go that location to replace screen. They basically told me that I needed to put on the screen myself. I wrote a review for that location so Ill leave out the details.However, this location in Hampton was very friendly helpful, and best of all professional. The associate who helped me was amazing!. She was prompt in acknowledging me when I walked in the store and appeared to have been happy to help me. I commend your store for the superb customer service I experienced at this location.

As a military veteran having been stationed in many states throughout the country I have not once had a problem with Verizon service. As for this location I have been to multiple times and not once had to wait as they are very welcoming when you walk in and eager to help which is nice. To make it better I was able to shave a ton off my bill with discounts that I didn’t even know I was entitled! This place will take good care of you if you’re a military member or not they treat everyone with respect.

Went in to just check out size of new iPhone 11 pro - salesperson was chatting with another customer while just leaning against display counter in front of phone I wanted to look at. She asked if I had signed in to which I replied that I just wanted to physically examine the phone. She rudely told me to sign in she was looking at the phone with the customer which she was not at the time. Bad attitude in my opinion.

The only reason i am putting 2 stars is because of the wait time. The wait time is tremendously horrible. If you absolutely have to go to this place, clear your schedule. The wait time is like 30 min to a hour and more than likely longer than that. Dont expect to come here and think you are going to be in and out. I went there to simply turn a phone in or get more info, and it took a hour for them to just notify me i was next in line. Nothing against none of the employees, but, They would want to do better with the wait time. Also put better knowledgeable people in the front that puts u in line to get seen. They need to know whats going on besides just adding you to the roster. Ive be with verizon for 10 plus years.

As i write this, my wife and i are in the store, being helped by Keith -- i cannot remember ever being helped by a customer contact person in any establishment with a more disinterested attitude -- he exudes not WANTING to help us -- he is, of course, helping us but a more cavalier attitude cant exist and still be employed -- i havent seen him smile yet (weve been here 10 minutes or more) -- he hasnt even made eye contact with my wife since they sat down -- he just plain doesnt want to be here, at least not to help us -- hes spent more time looking at his own device(under the table) than at anything/anyone else -- the man severely needs retraining in how to make a customer feel appreciated

Decided to visit to see what all the reviews were about. Theyre accurate. Was greeted by two girls sitting on the table, not too friendly. One girl helped me and mid-conversation, started singing to the radio out loud. Nice looking store, nice modern feeling atmosphere, however, shame about the employees.

While at the Verizon center, I only needed a replacement protector for my phone. I had to be signed in, waited nearly an hour as I watched employees watching TV. When I approached one, I was told I would have to wait my turn of whoever signed me in, plus he was busy with a customer. Once it became my turn, I was not asked if I had a preference for a protector cover....was sold the most expensive. Was told I needed to wait until another employee was free to place it on my phone. I would think that all employees would have to know how to do this. Not happy with price or worthless service from 3 separate employees. And to think I have been a loyal customer for years....

Make sure you absolutely want something before you buy it. I went to the Mercury Blvd store for technical support on a new phone I purchased. The technical support was fine but they insisted I try a Hum device and if I didnt like it, I could return it within 14 days. I never took it out of the box and after two days I decided I really didnt need it. When I took it back (after only two days) they said I had to pay $50 if I wanted to return it. I spoke with Kaitlyn (a manager) about it and told her I should have been told it would cost $50 to return it within the 14 days. She said pay the $50 or keep the device. She was too busy to argue with me about not being told of the consequences of returning the Hum. I have 4 phone lines with Verizon wireless but will not be a customer much longer fter dealing with someone like Kaitlyn. It was horrible customer service.

There is no centralized way to tell how many people are waiting ahead of you. They are emulating an Apple store. Lots of people walking around with tablets, hard to tell who is helping customers and who is just hanging out. I havent had any issues with customer service, once I got waited on. The store is new and clean. Comfy couches and chairs to sit and wait in. Free WiFi for Verizon customers. They have all of the latest doodads and smart stuff. Workers seemed knowledgeable and helpful.

They tried to ruin my credit, after I terminated my service with them, had no contract with Verizon, they reported me delinquent each mo. for the next 26 months.Even though I have not had service with Verizon for over 26 months!!!! Still working on trying to straighten out the mess Verizon.I would not recommend a dog to get anything from Version. When I terminated Verizon, I went to Republic Wireless... $22.87 a month. Verses $83.00 a month. Thumbs down to Verizon.

The fact that there are as many one star reviews as 5 star reviews tells the real story. These are a bunch of ghetto jerks with no respect for their customers or their customers concerns. Expect at best a lazy maybe I can help you attitude and more realistically active disrespect and attitude that you dont matter at all. Even when the sales reps were rude and I asked to speak to a manager they refused, and the sales rep wouldnt even tell me her name so I could report her to corporate. The person I did speak with, whoever he was, never introduced himself, never identified himself, no business card, no apologies for his co-workers crappy attitude, nothing. Pick a different store.

Been here for 30 min and havent been even checked in, the layout is just so confusing there needs to be one corner where people are placed to wait. Even coming for a small question can take over 30-60min. Every time I come in its the same a long wait for just even checking in.(Updated: Ive seen people walk in and get signed in after a lady got my name and yet they have been served before me I now and wondering if the lady added my name to the check in at all she just got my name)

I had about a 10 minute wait, which isnt too bad for a cable or cell phone store in my opinion. Technician made every effort to recover my phone and info. Was unsuccessful with phone but I didnt loose too many pics and contacts. Was very helpful with phone choices, and after all said and done, I walked out with a new phone and a lower bill.
