The doctor and his staff were fabulous! The glasses side not so much. There was confusion over frames/lenses, what my insurance would pay... two different sets of answers coming from two different people sitting right in front of me. The glasses were going to be sent to me, then I got a text saying to come pick them up. Then I ended up at Walmart to get them adjusted properly. I WILL be going back here and I WILL recommend you, I just think maybe a little more familiarity with insurance and such would be beneficial.
Had a 10:40 appointment, arrived at 10:30 no customers in lobby. Filled out paperwork thinking this is going to be short visit. A customer came in stating her appt was at 1100. Waited to be called I started checking my phone for time and it was 11am. Other customers that had came in after me were being called up. Lady behind counter noticed me squirming, she called me in for a glycoma check, at this time another patient was called up, I asked how far behind they were and she stated they were not behind schedule. I told her my appointment was 20 minutes ago and I have other commitments. She told me to have a seat at that same time the doctor called another patient back. The lady asked me when my other appt was, ad if wanted to go to my other appt and then come back this afternoon. I replied NO, that Im leaving now and I my not reschedule. As I was leaving I heard the Doctor ask if everything was alright I exclaimed No it wasnt and proceeded to leave. At 3:15pm the office called me and asked me to come in to finish the appt. I declined. If you can not follow your schedule and then lie, how can I trust you with my eyes?????
I walked in the get my glasses, i was not acknowledged, I stood there for a few minutes, still nothing. They only had two workers assisting customers. I was on my lunch break and i could not wait any longer so i left without getting my glasses. But when I went to get my eye exam three weeks ago the young lady that was helping me acknowledged the customer and stopped assisting me to help the customer who just walked in to pick up her glasses and had me wait until she was finished. Then i walk in to get my glasses i am not even acknowledged....hmmmmmm! Poor customer service.
Great experience! Dr. Fadee Bittar is one of the best eye doctors Ive every visited. The office was clean and inviting. Everyone was pleasant and professional. Dr. Bittar went above and beyond to answer all my questions and the staff was very helpful. A+ experience!
Very nice staff. Efficient, quick, and inexpensive
Customer service is excellent at this location.
They have poor costumer service. I felt like i shouldve applied for a job instead of glasses
I recently visited there and the customer service was exceptional. I arrived at my appointment a few minutes earlier and was seen in the back with 5 minutes. I was very pleased with the selection of frames and the staff was very helpful when time to pick out my glasses. I would highly recommend the Hampton office a great group of guys.
I have bought glasses at My Eye Dr. repeatedly and found the staff at this office to be extremely competent, friendly, and interactive. I love their wide variety of frames and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable optometrist. The reminders they send out to me before exams are so helpful for my busy forgetful self
Just left and it was great! They made my daughter feel comfortable and answered all concerns. Also great prices!! Definitely coming back!
I was seen quickly and efficiently. The staff was pleasant and very knowledgeable. Even the manager was hands on and engaged. I have recommended this place to others and I will be coming back!
My husband was able to get a same day appointment on a Saturday and the cost for glasses was more affordable than we expected. Rose was great to work with, she explained everything to us and we were able to take our time choosing the right frames. We did not feel rushed and the staff was very friendly.
I set an appointment that worked around my work hours, and they called to confirm several times before the appointment date. The exam was quick, and Dr. Bittar saw me shortly there after. He was gentlemanly and very explanatory of my current eye health status. He hooked me up with contacts on the spot, and I got a great rate for a year supply of contacts as well as a free pair of sunglasses for essentially nothing. All the staff was kind, and quick to answer my questions. I highly recommend Dr. Bittar.
Even though I was late for my appointment and they had spots open, they still did not see me. Claiming to limit the number of people inside the building but someone walked out as I was coming to the door
Id give them a zero!! Worst ever. Dont know how to adjust glasses, or assist people properly!!
I highly recommend Dr Bittar, Ive been going to him for years and my children see him also. However, I had some issues with my contact lens exam never being recorded in the computer, so I had to redo my eye exam before I could buy contacts. That was very inconvenient. From now on I will be getting my exams here but purchasing materials elsewhere.
Bad customer service and cheap glasses. My daughters glasses broke only after 2 months. We brought them back and they would not honor the manufacturer warranty. MyEyeDr claims there is an extra $25 insurance we should of purchased, this was never offered to us and it was not explained to us that they wouldn’t honor the manufacturer warranty with out purchasing. Needless to say, our business will not be brought back here.
Getting my prescription for the first time there was not a good experience. Had to go back in because the prescription was off and now waiting almost another month to have them shipped back to me after being corrected. Was put on hold several times and on average waited 20 minutes before hanging up to get service finally. Needs work on customer service and priority to people that have already purchased glasses or contacts.
I made an appointment for my wife and I via phone and the first thing I did was to confirm they accepted my insurance (Cigna). The first available appointment was over 3 weeks out but I took it anyway as we needed exams.Check-in went smoothly and the front desk staff was friendly and attentive. The paperwork was a little sketchy as there was a space for SSN (granted it wasnt highlighted to be filled out). Read the paperwork carefully as there are three locations where you can opt out of communications (read advertisements) via phone, email, and SMS.I was called back a few minutes before my appointment which was a good sign. However, I was a little confused/concerned when the technician who brought me back said she forgot her calculator. Before beginning the preliminaries for my exam, she started to tell me about the cost. She explained my insurance covered $45.00 for the eye exam. She further explained that they had two prices for eye exams. One was for people who were covered by insurance and it was about $100 more than what my coverage allowed meaning I would be paying over $100 out of pocket despite having vision coverage that costs approximately $120 per year. The other price was for people who did not have coverage and it was about $40 less.Using her calculator, she advised me that the cost was about the same whether I used my insurance or not. I told her that was not right and the last time Id been examined (different eye care place), the insurance had covered the exam. I told her if what she said was true, I wouldnt be getting my exam there. She said she would double check. She came back and said the prices she quoted were accurate after checking with her manager. My wife and I left without getting our long-awaited exams. Something smells fishy about this place. Ive advised my insurance carrier about their practices so hopefully they wont be in the network for long.
I feel like the back where they do the eye exam they where races and uncomfortable
Disgusted! Wouldnt Recommend Them To Anyone !!!!!
I rock wit em...
Awesome staff !!!!
