The ownership here was so nice and the food was great! We had lunch here and everyone had great quality food. I tried a mocha and was very satisfied. He had to go back in for donuts after seeing how good they looked. Management was chatting with us and made sure everything tasted great. Will definitely be coming back soon

I always am disappointed when I go to breakfast food places because everything is always egg based and I am NOT an egg person. This morning was my first time trying out Daylight Donuts and I was nervous to get the build your own egg sandwich, but I planned to just pick off the egg. BUT I did not have to! I got it with the croissant and bacon…it was SO delicious!!! I think maybe the best breakfast sandwich I have ever eaten. The egg was actually really good. Cooked perfectly, and not overpowering at all like places normally make it. 100% recommend!!

Just wanted to give a quick shoutout too my new favorite doughnut shop!!! Their product is high quality and has great flavor. They aren’t scared of using real ingredients to get their flavor. Everyone I’ve given these doughnuts to loves them. Their eyes get real big after that first bite it’s fun too see that reaction. I ordered donuts this morning through Uber Eats. The driver got all the way there and I was alerted (keep in mind this was at least a half hour after I placed order)that they were “out of donuts”. Kinda find this hard to believe. I see this happened to a DoorDash customer as well. Love their donuts but will avoid in the future. There are so many other donut shops you can support in Columbus that will appreciate your business.

Stopped in today thanks to a coupon I found, got a dozen. Probably won’t come close to eating all these but couldn’t resist. The few I ate were very tasty, especially the glazed cake with nuts- yum!I went late in the day around 3pm and the bites I took were as fresh as I’d expect coming in that late- definitely still fresh but not like they were just cooked 2 mins ago, if you know what I mean. I liked the variety that was available. I’ll definitely return and next time probably try a salad or sandwich- didn’t realize they had those items as well.Also, friendly service.

Not even close to the real daylight donut. I was born and raised in Southwest Kansas and we had road daylight donuts donuts. Even even the chocolate on top of the long Johns isnt even close to the same.. I guess if you want a real daylight donut you have to drive to Indiana Or back to my home of Kansas

They are incredibly rude. I was waiting for my donuts when I witnessed who I believe to be the owner, completely disrespect one of their dashers. The lady was very kind and patient yet at some point he even went as far to tell her “don’t talk to me. Just don’t talk to me” and he made her call the customer to tell them they are out of half their menu. This was frustrating for me as well. With the lacking in menu items that are actually available and the way he treated her I just left without my donuts that I paid for and was waiting on.. Won’t be giving them my business again. If you refuse to treat your dashers with respect do not put your restaurant on their platform.

Worst doughnuts Ive ever had. We got 4 doughnuts which cost about $10. A buckeye doughnut which had virtually no peanut butter, the peanuts on top were old and starting to turn bad. The 2 long Johns were stale, Im pretty sure it was day old also there was no cream in the center. The blueberry fritter was over cooked and tasted burnt.Wont be back.

The person working the counter was SO kind and helpful. My spouse said the apple fritters were better than Der Dutchmans. Well be back.

Ive tried ordering twice recently and both times they were out of donuts. They said it was just because of random busy days. But perhaps they just need to make more donuts. That said, when they have inventory, their donuts a pretty good.

When they have what you want theyre really good. When they dont, which half the time, its really disappointing. Make more beef and chicken pockets, please. They are the best things on your menu.

I dont make it up to Hilliard often but when I do I like to try local shops. They say they close at 2. Stopped in at 1:10 hoping to grab a cup of coffee and one donut. The shop was packed up and the lights were off. The photos look good though, hoping theyll still be in business the next time Im up there.

I was extremely disappointed. I got donuts delivered last Friday and was missing 2 Cherry fritters and a blueberry long john. I paid 2 dollars extra for the blueberry long john. They never called, refunded me or even added extra donuts make up for it. Just kept my money.Not sure if I will go back.

The two men running the store are always running out of donuts. The store is also constantly closed well before the posted closing time.If your running out of donuts and you are a donut shop and refusing to make more, then there is a serious problem.

Came in for a couple donuts for some family that came over. Fortunately they had some left of what I wanted, so come early if you are picky but they do bake them fresh each morning so I understand. The owner offered to bake me the one donut they didn’t have for me but I declined but I thought was really above and beyond. Donuts were delicious and I did actually try their breakfast burrito which was pretty good! So they do have more than donuts and recommend trying something off the breakfast/lunch menu! Overall good value and great quality and happy they have reopened!

Daylight Donuts has some of the best donuts in Columbus. They are baked fresh everyday and the have a wide variety of cake and raised donuts. The breakfast burrito is a great from scratch choice when eating from their breakfast menu. They also have excellent handcrafted drinks and options that you cannot get at other donut shops.

Usually stop in once a week. That’s how good these donuts are. Got 2 dozen to bring into work and had almost 2 dozen people ask where are they from. Apple fritters are very good

Extremely disappointed in my visit today. Stopped in about 1:35 to buy donuts. When I was there last week, I was told when you come in from 1-2 on Friday, you get a dozen free donuts with a purchase of a dozen donuts. It was called the Sleeping in Special. I thought as a business owner my self, that’s a great incentive to clear out the inventory and still make a profit because I imagine they have to discard for freshness sake. When I was there today I mentioned the special to the gal upfront and she went to the back to ask the same gentleman that was there last week when I purchased. He came out and informed me that they cannot be expected to give their product away at 50% rather condescending and rude. My apologies but I was just here for the special that I was given last week. I liken it to free kids meal night at a restaurant. They aren’t going to treat you poorly and not honor the special because you used it last week. If they’ve changed their policy that’s fine just simply state so but to act like this was just uncalled for and unprofessional. My family did enjoy the donuts. It’s just a shame that they handle business this way.

There is nothing here that isnt delicious. My favorite is the blueberry crème smoothie. The Turkish flat breads are also very delicious, as are the doughnuts and Turkish coffee. If youre looking for a great breakfast or early lunch / brunch place, I highly suggest coming here

I think I got hyped up by the reviews lol. I wasn’t impressed. The long John had cream at each end but none anywhere else in the donut. They did send me 2 more free donuts because they were out of 1 of the long Johns so that was cool. Ummm the vanilla iced coffee I was able to drink it but it def didn’t get an “mmm that’s good” lol just kinda meh. But there’s plenty of places where I can’t even swallow the iced coffee it’s so bad so this says a lot that I could drink it 😩🤣.

I’ve heard rave reviews about Daylight Donuts, so I decided to try. I ordered a sticky bun and 5 other donuts. I went to take a bite out of the sticky bun and realized there was a staple baked into the sticky topping. I’m very thankful I noticed it before I took a bite...Furthermore, the donuts seemed old to me. I ordered them at 8am on a Saturday, so I would have expected them to seem a lot more fresh.I was disappointed by my experience. It’s pretty hard to enjoy the rest of your donuts when your first attempted bite had a sharp piece of metal in it.

We ordered a dozen via GrubHub not realizing it was closing time but they processed our order and got it out quickly. They were low on some of the variety we ordered so they sent us an additional dozen at no charge!! Was not necessary and so nice! Out of this world service and the donuts are delicious! Thank you!!

The donuts, coffee, and service are great. The reason for only 2 stars is that they have an extremely loud and high pitched alarm on the door that chimes every time it opens. The last thing I need before Ive had coffee in the morning is that horrible noise each time someone comes in or out. I have no clue how the employees put up with it. I would love to enjoy this great local shop more often, but I cant, simply because of the door alarm.

Was driving my kids to daycare but the road was closed so I took another route and in the corner of the eye I saw Daylight Donuts and Cafe so I decided to stop in because my girls and I love donuts. There is parking at the donut shop but you have to walk a few steps to get to the door because the shop is located in the corner of the building. The shop have such a cute design to it and was clean. Gives you a modern farmhouse vibe. They have a huge selection is donuts and one of the employee there saw my daughters and right away gave them each 2 donuts holes (I didnt even order yet). SO SWEET. I ordered a dozen donuts (classic donuts for 10.98) and got 1 free. The prices varies depending what donuts you get also. They also sell cookies and brownies but I have not tried it yet. Plus, they have a rewards program. Get 10 points (purchase for 4 dollars and more per point) and get a dozen donuts free. Such a great deal. We will certainly be back again. Great service and donuts.

Went to Daylight Donuts & Cafe today and WOW what a surprise. Not only is it under new management but it has a new menu with a variety of selections, a new attitude because the staff seem friendlier. Because Im a vegan, I love, love, love the spinach role. If youve tried them before. Try them again. You will not be disappointed. By the way, the Turkish Coffee will light your fire. I was impressed!
