Cute place and very nice staff! My frozen Buckeye coffee (latte?) was amazing! They have a nice little area with items for sale from local craftsman as well. Great experience and will definitely return!

I really like the coffee they serve. I personally have never had an order wrong. They are also open Sundays which it seems every other local (non chain) is closed on Sundays so it is nice to have a close by coffee house that is open. The coffee cake is amazing.

Love the buckeye beverage anyway they make it its awesome!!! The staff is nice. They sell cute Ohio and other signs at the shop.

I like going here rather than Starbucks or Panera because it is local but it seems to be hit or miss if your coffee order is going to be correct. The past 2 days in a row my order was wrong, I asked for almond or soy milk for health reason and my drink has been made with regular milk both times. I might try again when they arent so busy in the morning. They do have delicious bakery items from Der Dutchman which is great.

I’ve gone to New Grounds 4 times to get some work done on my laptop in the last month but turned around and had to leave 2 of those times simply because there are really only two spots that have outlet access inside. It is a cute little spot and I like their hours and the fact that there’s a drive thru, but there just aren’t enough spots to sit and work in there. If there are two other people already working in there and need an outlet, you’re out of luck. It seems like a silly gripe to some, but a good chunk of people out there who work from home who like going to coffee shops to get out of the house. New Grounds is more of a sit and lounge and talk to a friend over coffee spot than a work spot. Also, their coffee drinks are very sweet and overly milky, their specialty seems to be very desert-y drinks. I normally just get a regular latte, and here they seem to barely add enough espresso to change the color of the milk. Not a bad place, good service and friendly employees, it’s clean inside, but there are more work-friendly coffee shops close by. I’ve seen a few other reviews with similar comments so I hope they consider changing the layout inside, they have a lot of potential in such a busy area.

Really like these small, local coffee shops. Very clean inside, quick service from the barista and the counter staff are helpful. There is good seating inside and it is very comfortable feeling. The espresso was good, the crema could have poured a little thicker for my taste and they use regular size cups for their espresso which dilutes it a little bit as well. My wife said he cappuccino was very good.

This is a great coffee place. It’s out my way but it’s worth the drive! I always get a cappuccino and it’s literally the best I’ve ever had. The staff is always quick at the drive thru and I love how they work together. I will continue to make it a weekend routine for me to come visit.

Cozy and quite place.I got their hot buckeyes latte, loved it.Specially the crema tasted amazing.My friend got a mango bubble tea which was mediocre though.Coffee cake was super soft with a slight cinnamon touch, just the way it is supposed to be.Employees could be more welcoming, when it’s literally nobody else for the customers except us.

Love going to this place. Its a small locally owned shop and the staff is great. I have had their hot, cold and frozen options and all are great.

I dont go here often, maybe a few times a year since 2007, but every time my experience has been positive, ranging between 4 and 5 stars. Both going through drive through and going into the shop itself.Today is the first time Ive been there for a while as I wanted to treat myself to something nicer than say Tim Hortons. I ordered a large (16 oz) hot Buckeye Latte. It totally met my expectations as I had it a few years ago and it was super awesome. Ive only ordered a handful of different coffee drinks, hot and cold ones, and, based on my experience, New Grounds is just as good as any Starbucks in terms of quality and taste.

Best coffee place ever! I love their specials especially the cinnamon pumpkin iced coffee, red Rudolph iced coffee and mocha praline iced coffee - all are amazing. Their baked goods are delicious too, brownie is my favorite.

I ordered a Caramel mocha hot coffee which tasted basically like a regular coffee with sweetner and cream. It was okay. The cinnamon roll was good though. Neither item was worth what I payed for it.

Coffee is okay, definitely not the best in Columbus though! The workers are very friendly. I ordered an iced Americano and I think I got a cold brew instead. Overall, my experiences here have been eh.

People seem to order the buckeye a lot. I had a vanilla latte and it was delicious. Quiet and plenty of space for studying, lounging. They have a drive thru if you want your coffee fix to go. Friendly staff. Would visit again.

The pictures in my opinion were better than the taste, I got the frozen Carmel mocha and it wasnt that good, especially not for 5 dollars

Its not bad, a coffee shop for a high-school crowd so dont expect strong or exceptional black coffee. Get a scone and something sugary to drink and youll have a good time.

Lacrose intolerant beware! These baristas can not tell the diffrence between milk, and almond milk. And upon questioning will lie to you.

I was last here in 2016 so things may have changed since then. I ordered a large iced coffee, plain black, no cream or sugar added.Atmosphere: Nice, relaxed. The sofas look comfortable.Coffee: Too much ice, actual fluid volume equivalent to a tall at Starbucks. Flavor and aroma were pleasant, not over-roasted. Unmemorable though; if anything, slightly on the weak side.Service: Absolutely terrible. I was a bit surprised by the What do you want? when I approached the counter. Two unpleasant girls; one of whom was complaining in a very fed up with everything voice, seemingly annoyed by the fact that she had to make a coffee. I had a gut feeling that employee theft was an issue at this coffee shop. I didnt feel comfortable or welcome here so I took my coffee to go. It was my first and last visit to New Grounds.

I hate coffee; my wife loves it. So I get dragged around to every little coffee shop wherever we go.I usually dont get anything during these trips, but I was really craving something chocolaty and sweet. I ended up getting a frozen hot chocolate with cookie crumbles added...and let me tell you, it was fantastic. Delicious chocolate flavor that was sweet, but not overly so, and a perfectly smooth texture that went down easy...almost too easy. Its as expensive as every other coffee shop (hence the reason I rarely get anything at any of them), but it satisfied my sweet tooth, and the service was great, too.I wouldnt go out of my way to come here, but seeing as how Im sure Ill be coerced into going again at some point in the near future, Id definitely get that drink again.

I usually go through the drive thru. The Frozen Buckeye Latte is TO DIE FOR. There’s no better coffee drink out there. It tastes like your drinking a Reeses cup.

I love all of the different coffee offerings. The decor and look of the Coffee House is very nice. So not only are all of the drinks excellent but all of the employees are absolutely amazing!!!! High recommend to everyone!!!!

Cute little place, not much seating but there is a drive through if you just need some coffee. Free wifi and the lattes are amazing. They recycle all of their cardboard too. Pretty cool. Use crimson cup coffee.

I agree with some of the other reviews for this place. The coffee is OK, the atmosphere is cute, but the service is poor. Unfriendly staff can make or break a business. I frequent coffee shops and I was hoping this place would be my new go to. But due to the curtness and disregard from the male and female workers today I will not be back.

Ive always had a good experience here. Ample of sitting area. Their coffee is on par with Starbucks in taste and price. This is a locally owned coffee shop and I always like to support local businesses.

I really want to like this place but have yet to have a positive experience. The staff seems annoyed to take/fill orders. Today, my $5 beverage tastes burnt and the lid popped off, spilling coffee all over me and my car. And by popped off I really mean exploded. With no provocation. Cool. Id let that slide as a random cup failure but add it to the slow, disinterested staff and I think I am done here.

Their blended New Grounds White Mocha is my everything! My friends, however, are in love with the blended Buckeye latte. Even in the dead of winter people (myself included) still get the blended drinks. Nuff said! 😉

I always get a large Frozen Buckeye which is usually very good, but it hasnt been as thick lately, as if theyre leaving something out. Im not quite sure what, but somethsomething. But I would recommend and take my friends here.

I just love local coffee shops since I work my business from my laptop and I would much rather support small places like this than the big green mermaid. Its super quiet and cozy and the coffee is delish. Some people have complained about how its a little pricy but I honestly dont think its much more than other places- lattes and specialty drinks are always pricy, what can you do? Like others, I definitely recommend the Buckeye latte: iced, cold, frozen, its all good!

Great place and great coffee except for the one worker who is incredibly rude. From what I can see in the comments, some other customers must have run into this worker too. If New Grounds wants to stop losing customers, they will fire her immediately.

Absolutely great coffee!! True to the flavors everytime and if the coffee wasnt so goodI would look for another coffee shop to frequent. The big issue that New Grounds is lacking is customer service. You can typically feel like you are inconveniencing the staff by ordering anything. They are not welcoming and more interested in talking amongst themselves.

Tasty coffee at a decent price.my only issue is that sometimes they do not open at the time listed, so you are sitting at the menu board waiting for someone and no one responds. I have driven off more than once because of that.

The coffee is delicious, wifi available, and TV playing MeTV (i didnt ask about changing it). A couple of other posts were about politeness, and they were true. I was greeted with do you know what you want and not spoken to again until here you go. Its all high top tables and a couch, so not really good for spending time to get any work done (ergonomically at least). Still, the coffee is pretty good.

I asked for a smoothie and they filled the large cup up only halfway.

I’ve been here twice and tried their iced and frozen drinks and they are both DELICIOUS. I have not yet been inside but I love the fact that they have a drive thru. I moved here from Seattle where drive thru coffee is everywhere and that is rare to find in Ohio unless it’s a Starbucks.

I come here almost everyday but please get new hot drinks cups. Your cups leak out the sides and ruins dress shirts and pants. Please spend the extra 5 cents and get decent cups and lids.

I would give zero stars if possiable. Inconsistent PRICES the employee told me the price was diffrent than the SIGN was priced. A large frozen chai latte is 4.25. The price I have been paying for 3 years of business!!!! Adding soy is .60 cents. Then she disputed with me soy is more than what the sign says? Giving me a total of 6$? I think they are over charging to pocket the money. Very shady and rude female I encountered here. The past employees within the last 3 years have drastically changed the standards and attitude. Will not have me or my accociates business again.

I love love the frozen buckeyes!! If it wasnt for those i probably wouldnt come here often. The staff about 85% of the time are very rude and seems like you are annoying them for coming there. There are a couple girls who seem nice but for the most part you should get a nicer staff who are more customer oriented. Pretty doesnt always mean nice :)
