The class was better than I could have ever expected. The instructor was very knowledge, and blessed with a lot of patience. Unfortunately I took the written portion of the class on line and the practical with Andrew (instructor). After my experience, I wish I would have taken the entire class in person. I was super nervous about the practical test at first, the instructor was very encouraging and supportive. I definitely recommend everyone take the class in person.

This was my first time ever at a range. I came in wanting to know how to hold my gun and not be scared to shoot, Joe is a great instructor he showed me the right way and explained why on how to hold the weapon and I will be back often. I learned a lot in Ladys Sure Shot and highly reconmmend this class to all the ladies. This target is what we used and I think I did pretty good for a newbie. S&W Shield Plus 9mm

Very clean, friendly staff. No covid restrictions for anyone thats worried about that. They had a wide selection of new guns and there was some ammo available.

Well stocked and clean. Very organized. Ammo prices were great. Didnt have a holster for the hand gun I have. Thanks for smirking at my brand of handgun btw guy 🤣

Called ahead to see if they had a specific gun to rent and most likely purchase. Was told they did, but when we got there, it was out of service. It would have been nice for them to check and make sure it was available before we made the drive. They lost a sale and a customer.

Cash register broke when trying to check out. Somebody came to help and was very rude to the person who messed it up and us as well. Rental guns jammed. Sights were off. When I went refund a mag I bought they were acting mad about it and rude the whole time because their cash register broke when printing reciept. Won’t be back!

LTC class was very informative, concise, and to the point. Instructor knowledge was very good. Range portion was very good and professional with very clear insteuctions. Very safe although there were perhaps a couple of students that were not quite ready for the LTC class. I would, and have already, recommended this class to others.

First time visit and was ready to buy and spend 4-5,000.00..However I was very disappointed that after 10 minutes of at the counter waiting I didnt even get as much as a Hi Sir be right with you. Customers that can after me were attended to and greeted. Mmmm. Oh well. I left very disappointed. Wake up Staff. The store has great ratings. What happened here. Many other choices to buy fire arms.

Im usually not a fan of the big gun stores but this time Im so glad I came. Michael is one of the best salesman Ive ever worked with. He had tons of knowledge and shared it with me with no problem. I highly recommend point blank range now and Michael as a salesman.

The organization and classes teach all you need to know about the law, responsibilities, and safe practice of handling a firearm. You can use any instructor, but Keith, a Navy veteran, was an amazing, down-to-earth teacher, and you would not go wrong asking for him. So go learn, enjoy and be responsible!

They definitely know what they are talking about. Uppers, lowers, ammo and everything in between!

Just completed my 4 hour online class for my LTC. Excellent and easy to follow. Spoke with Chris Cravens National Director of Education and Membership and he explained that I would need to take the in store proficiency exam where I would have to fire 50 rounds accurately at a target. I have much experience with this so I am very excited. Figure between the online test, scheduling the in person proficiency exam and then the fingerprinting; I’ll have my license to carry within a couple of months. It’s very cool to be able to do all of this at my local gun store.

This class was great and the instructor was awsome. I highly recommend this location for classes.

As a first time buyer, Autumn was a great person to get information and made me feel at ease. She showed me different guns, to which a I had trouble with the release. I finally felt comfortable with the last gun she showed me, Autumn suggested I test it out on the range to which she was very helpful.

Shoot Point Blank is a great place to go. Employees are always courteous and helpful. Inside gun range so you dont have to worry about nasty weather. Wide range of guns to buy and shoot. They will let you try some of their used guns before you purchase. If youre a veteran their monthly rates are great. Various classes from new gun owners class to much more experienced shooters. Would highly recommend Shoot Point Blank.

I went into this class not knowing what to expect but, as the class went on, it became apparent how knowledgeable and experienced our instructor was. I learned so much and am confident to become a firearm carrier.

Did my LTC course here. Started on time, directions were clear and concise. Instructor Keith was very friendly and open to any questions. Helpful on the range but also strict with protocols. Well put together.Also I go in frequently to shoot or buy firearms and everyone there is very knowledgeable and friendly every time. Highly recommend. Great selection of guns btw.

What great people! Had a tremendous private lesson with Candace for Basic Handgun. She did a great job covering the fundamentals with me and my wife, and then provided expert instruction patient for us on the range. I highly recommend her for training! Also had wonderful interaction with other employees at the handgun rental counter. I was very impressed with their level of knowledge across the many manufacturers and models. Well be back to shop and train at Shoot Point Blank because of the people!

This place is amazing! The sales reps, the manages, and the instructors all take the time to make sure you leave informed and more comfortable then before. They leave you wanting to come back for more. It’s a great community feel. They offer tons of class options, memberships, range times. There is absolutely no excuse to not get your LTC or range time! Bring a friend or family member - they make you very comfortable.

Called to this location on Friday for ammo on a 223 and was told that we cant sell you any because I would have to have a membership or have a military id. I was shocked since i just gave them over $1500 for two weapons which I purchased in a months time frame and they even gave me free range passes. Dont spend your hard earned money here!!

I have been fortunate to puchase several NFA items over the last couple of years and used this store as my FFL as they are close to where I live. Time and again they failed to call and let me know in a timely manner when they received my tax stamps. I understand that the ATF approval process is slow but I can easily read the post dates on the envelopes from the ATF and they have ranged from 2 to 4 months prior. Thats unacceptable as people already wait up to a year for the ATF approval. A gun dealer should not be making this process more difficult. What makes it even more irritating is their annoyance if you dare to ask them if the stamp has arrived. They will give you a standard line about how we always make sure to call as soon as we receive a tax stamp and be visibly frustrated that youre making them check. Almost every time they suddenly find it or it magically comes in a couple of days later. Again, the post date doesnt lie so I know theyve had it for months. I would caution anyone about using them for their FFL on an NFA item as your wait time will be unnecessarily long.The only reason Im giving a two and not a one star is because their range is fairly nice. However, I would recommend going down the street to GRITR as they re-opened the range and its just as nice and cheaper.

Candace is a Great instructor! She was very hands on and fully explained the basics to my class. She was very patient and sometimes explained the same procedure to me repeatedly when Id forget! I felt very comfortable and informed from her training and still practice the basics taught to me from her. I learned alot from Candace and truly needed the class she taught and will definitely return for future classes. I definitely tell others about this location and classes they offer! Thanks Candace for being so knowledgeable and eager to assist!

What a great program! I just finished my LTC course at Shoot Point Blank and I had a wonderful experience. The staff were very knowledgable, friendly, and helpful. I could not have asked for anything more.

Really like this range but they reduced their hours temporary over a year ago and ther is no sign, notice, anything on the door. Point for having it online and on the phone system but some of us still look at the building. Its not that hard to hang a sign.

Good basic instruction. Clearly for someone thats never owned a gun before. Shoot point blank has a wide variety of classes. Ill probably be taking them all eventually.

Shoot point blank is a great place to go for some target practice.The range is always clean and well lighted. The staff are always ready to help if you need it, if not they stand back and let you have a good time. The store has an excellent selection of rental guns and products. I go at least once a week and have a great time.

Shoot Point Blank is everything that they claim that arent. Unfriendly, unwelcoming, and downright hostile to people that dont speak their particular flavor of jargon. Learning about firearms has been a far more difficult process than I ever imagined!!!

Went in with a friend looking to buy my first gun. Knew what I wanted in general but not super knowledgeable about what caliber would be best. Mack was very helpful in helping me find a cheapo first revolver that would be fun to shoot and good for self defense. I liked how we werent pressured to buy something we didnt want and we werent dissuaded from our choices. Havent been to the range or classes yet, but intend to.

I enjoy going to this facility for my range practice. The employees are generally friendly & helpful. I have also attended a number of classes - several of the Ladies Sure Shot which all were informative, the class learning how to clean your gun and the concealed carry class. Last year I traded in a gun & got what Im assuming was a fair value for it, then purchased a new gun when it was on sale at last years Black Friday - got a bargain too!

Great place with friendly, knowledgeable staff that genuinely care about your experience. Even if you dont buy anything, theyre more than willing to answer all of your questions. Prices are good, and if youre looking for something specific that they dont have, theyll take your name and number down to call you when it comes in. I dont know of any other gun shop or range that does that. Theyre also Veteran friendly, and their elite membership package offers free FFL transfers and classes every month!

I went to the store looking for a hand gun. The salesman was very patient, showed me numerous guns, answered a lot of questions, and discussed pros and cons of each of the models.He then helped me select a safe for storing my new purchase, as well as the cleaning supplies.Overall a positive experience from the time I walked into the store until I left.

My husband and I took a basic handgun class from Candace. She was SO great! The course was a refresher for my husband but new for me. Candace took her time explaining each step and answering any questions we had. We paid the extra $10 and made our lesson private. After the class she took us into the range and we shot our selected hand guns. The experience was incredible. We will definitely be back again!!

This is a great shop and range! The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The range is very clean, well maintained and safe. The safety officers are very helpful with any gun issues you might have while on the range and keep the area clean and free of casings and trash.

I have been a returning customer. Ive bought 2 firearms within the last year at this location. I Was turned down from Buying one Box of ammo, Because I was not a member or purchasing a firearm.Keep in mind I was there because I just purchased one and had to fix paper work. I came in on my own time to do this and they wouldnt even sell me one Box. Thats bs

Gun prices are competitive and ammo (although sometimes hard to find) is available if you are going to use the range. Staff is knowledgeable and friendly. There are usually plenty of lanes available on the range.

I Purchased a firearm from Shoot Point Blank in North Richland Hills, Texas a few weeks ago and shot it for the first time yesterday. The pistol was plagued with stove pipe and jamming issues. I called Shoot Point Blank and asked them what I needed to do. The man on the phone said the gun was still under warranty and to bring it to them for evaluation. The very next morning I took the pistol to the store and spoke to the manager. She told me they did not have a licensed gunsmith and that I would need to take it to a gunsmith myself or send it back to Smith and Wesson. I understand things can mechanically go wrong with a firearm and if they had just told up me front I need to send it back to the manufacture for repair I would have understood, however, they made me waist my time to bring it in, never looked at the pistol, and told my my two previously mentioned options in a disinterested manner. It’s unbelievable a store this size does not even have a gunsmith. Make your money during the sale and be done with the customer. Save yourself the grief and purchase from a reputable store.

I have always had professional service when I would visit, especially at the North Richland Hills location. Staff is always friendly and the facility is always clean. I took a Build Your Own A-R class and really enjoyed it. The gun is an added bonus too.

Absolutely love going to this range. The staff are friendly and very helpful. James and another range officer gave some pointers on how to sight my red dot at the Arlington location. It is always a nice environment.

Shoot Point Blank is a great place to shoot. There is plenty of room in the actual range area, and the store is amazing from the standpoint of its selection of firearms for sale. Although not required, memberships are the best option for enjoying the range affordably.

Never owned nor shot a firearm in my life. This place trained me and it’s where I shot for the very first time. Got my LTC thru them too. They have a great selection of firearms for sale and very friendly knowledgeable associates. Got myself a second handgun. Prices were very fair. I’ve been to other ranges but I always come back because I feel very comfortable here. I highly recommend this place to others especially those who are new to firearms.

I thought that perhaps a change in location would provide a better experience but once again I was horribly wrong. I also erroneously believed that people working in any given service industry would have some underlying interest in the products and services provided by their employer. The employees further have no interest in being good employees no matter what their level of interest may be in the industry. Same experience as we had at the Arlington location, ignored by the customer service people, preferential treatment given to others, and in general treated like intruders. The bad attitudes and poor service is pervasive and probably comes from the managers and supervisors. Jamie Yake needs to go back to running a clothing store, she may not be any better at it but she couldnt be any worse than she is at managing a range. Her lack of knowledge as well as her tolerance of poor customer service are both appalling.

SPB is the best gun range I have ever been to! The employees are very helpful and each facility is just as good as the next. They have a variety of classes that you can take that are informative and will take your firearm knowledge to the next level. Anytime I recommend a range SPB is always first!

LTC Class instructor John are very nice take time to answer any question student may have, I would highly reccomenned for anybody want to take a gun carry license. The store are very clean staff are very friendly.

So i called about a holster that holds a specific laser light combo, the Fudd who answered assured me they had it and would put it back for me. So I drive an hour to get here, wait for someone to actually help me, even after a member cut in line in front of me, for them to tell me they dont carry it. Not to mention the guy who answered didnt know what kydex is and another sales rep tried telling me kydex was a brand. Ive bought my 43x from here and use the range often. Ill definitely be taking my business else where, somewhere that doesnt hire fudds.

If your an experienced shooter, all you truly need to know is that they charge $5 for a waiver. From what I understand the instructors are excellent, but if you know what your doing and you just want to go send some rounds, go somewhere that isnt charging you to file your paperwork.

Nice and clean range. My only complaint is that the transfer fee is way overpriced and there is an employee there (won’t mention names) that has a ‘not caring’ attitude. It’s not a one time deal it’s been multiple times.

I love SPB. Their employees are very helpful. At first, as a person newly interested in firearms, it was intimidating to walk into a store of this kind, and the employees stay VERY busy, all of the time. If you are patient, you will appreciate the attention you receive when they get to you. They are all very knowledgeable and happy to share their wisdom. My wife and I took our LTC class at SPB and the instructor was great. Last thing....as you are very aware, ammo is difficult to come by, but if you become a member, they reserve ammo for members. I recommend SPB 100%.

Michael Logan And Steve are the best! They’re super friendly well mannered and informed, would’ve given 5 however pending my background check there was a young woman (possibly manager) working there that was giving me a bad look possibly because of my tattoos. She was incredibly skilled with firearms & passionate about her profession and other Related tasks but her attitude/vibe towards customers & her fellow co-workers was not very customer oriented whatsoever. Will return

Just picked up my new Ruger at the NRH store. The entire staff was a treat to work with. So much more competent than the big sporting goods stores.

Nice setup but I stopped going there, too long a wait in line even with membership. One of the last times I was there the RO felt it necessary to give me a beginner orientation on range safety, this with firearms discharging on both sides of us. I told the guy I was a member and retired infantry Officer, it didnt faze him, he kept on with the spiel.

They never pick their phone and they cry when you shoot too fast. Which opposite of how they train you to shoot in the army. So i guess they are not full auto friendly.

Chad spent time to explain the gun I was looking at and the pros and cons of the different brands. He will take the time to make sure you are comfortable with your purchase. I will purchase more guns from this store. Give them a chance to serve your firearm needs. Fair price and everyone is there to help. Clean safe place.

They have ALOT of nice to have guns that I would like to have in my collection but im from Louisiana & Im told that they dont do transfers to other FFLs for out of state residents, it would be AWESOME to have one somewhere in Louisiana (Id more than likely be there 3+ times a month) but other than that the people in the store are quite friendly and helpful, I ALWAYS stop by when Im in Texas

The guy that started out helping me and that finished my transaction was excellent! However there was this older lady with blond hair that is not all that approachable. Once I picked out my smaller gun with Michael I walked over and got her assistance with a semi-automatic. She seemed a little irritated with questions. Once we picked out the gun I let her know Michael had another gun that I was purchasing as well. She jus handed him the gun she had and walked off. I asked what’s wrong with her. It was really rude and unprofessional. That was my first experience at the store and I had heard only good things to bad my experience wasn’t the same! I spent over 1100 in the store as a customer I didn’t feel appreciated by her. Michael however was great! He had good conversation he made a lot of recommendations. I really enjoyed working with him and would come back to the store as long as he’s there!

As a woman you get treated with respect and dignity here. I found that basic treatment missing at other places where I was left to think I did not belong. I took a class and enjoyed every bit of it and learned even more.

Good store with genuine prices and overall competent staff.However, I stood in line for some time to pay for a simple purchase. They did not bring up any additional personnel to man the cash registers. I finally gave up and left without purchasing the items.

Great range. Very clean. 25 yrd lanes . Timed lanes so there is no waiting. Only draw back is no holder work allowed.

Not a bad place at all. Very nice and helpful workers who know what they are talking about. Its a get place for veterans, especially on Veterans Day because we get a good discount. The business is always clean and very bright. The shooting lanes are perfect for all your shooting needs. And if you want to trade in a gun or buy one they always have very competitive pricing. Overall a great place to shoot, Im always going. I promise you wont be disappointed.

Poor customer service. Went in to rent a lane and was told there would be a 25 minute wait, no biggie. I signed in on the waiting list and received a text saying I was in the queue. I waited for an hour and I still did not receive a notice saying a lane was ready for me or any employee explaining the extended wait time me. Waste of my time and will not be back.

Very knowledgeable staff, I am a first timer and didnt know a thing about shooting and Patsy was most helpful! I got to try several hand guns and found one I liked very much and got to shoot 5 rounds with that gun and then knew it was the one for me. I went back today to practice some more and once again Patsy was fantastic! Sean and James were also very helpful. I highly recommend this place to anyone wanting a great shooting experience!
