I had the most incredible custom facial with Elena! I was in panic-mode because I was breaking out just before my sisters wedding. Elena kindly talked me through the custom options that I had, and took great care in her approach to treating my acne with a mix of exfoliation, extraction, a calming mask and other targeted treatments. I have been going for a monthly facial with Amanda for almost two years now. The experience is always fabulous. She tries different products and informs me of the benefits based on what my skin needs at the time of the visit but she never pressures me to purchase specific products. I purchased a very expensive face cleansing product from this company. Somehow, I was charged twice. When I called them to find out why they said I signed up for an automatic re-order. I do not remember doing this. I think their site is very sneaky with automatic reorders. Also, I called to inquire about returning it and they said it’s good up to 365 days for a return. When I tried to return it recently they said I was informed incorrectly and only had 30 days to return it. Therefore I got two conflicting stories. Don’t order from this company! They are not helpful and will charge you without your consent. This is not how to run a business. Best wishes to them in the future!

I went to Dr. Joel Schlessingers office for a mole check up. Prior to entering they charged a $150.00 office visit. I was fine with that. I went back and was examined. The thing I specifically went to get looked at turned out to be an insect bite that was stated to be benign. They told me they could remove it for me if I wanted to, but it was not necessary. I inquired on what the cost would be to have it removed, as I think any normal adult would do, especially being as it was elective They came back and told me it could cost $707.00 less any discounts I may get as an agreement between Blue Cross Blueshield and the Docs office. I told them I would pass on having the mark removed. The gal seemed annoyed I was choosing not to do the procedure. She walked me back to the front counter. They told me it was going to be $20.00 more because I was considered a new patient because the last time I went to their office was in 2016. So basically they charged me $20.00 because they were mad that I didnt have the procedure done? Why wouldnt they have charged me the $170.00 from the beginning. Needless to say, I will not be returning. There are plenty of dermatologists in the Omaha area. I say find one more transparent.

If you want to look beautiful, go to these people! Your experience is all about who provides your services. I came here as a present to myself for my 50th birthday. I got a silk peel facial by Alex, and then Tressa did my makeup later that afternoon. Alex was professional, respectful, gentle, and clearly one of the best at what she does. And Tressa chose the perfect makeup for me and applied it beautifully. By the time they both finished, I looked like I was ready for an episode of The Real Housewives of Omaha! I have had my makeup done for special occasions for weddings, and other events, and I can promise you that I have never looked that fabulous before in my life!! I am a happy new customer, and will be coming here to both of these wonderful ladies for my services.

I was told I’d receive a call from a manager and never did. Also the return policy they have in place is a joke if you plan on ever buying any type of beauty device. If a product says it takes 8 weeks to work then a good company would stand with their products. I was the perfect candidate to use this product and did so as directed. The product didn’t work for me but because they only allow 30 days I was out of luck...How should anyone know how they feel about a device that takes longer to show if it’s working then the return policy? So I’m out of $400 dollars and couldn’t feel more scammed.*** also they watch the reviews of products on their page so I recommend not trusting those.

If you value free speech to express your opinions online without reprisal from a business, boycott this unethical business! I previously wrote a negative review about potential concerns I had about this companys handling of negative product reviews after noticing they had not posted a negative product review I wrote and their product reviews appeared to be inflated/skewed toward a higher number of positive reviews when compared to identical products on competitor websites. The companys responded to my review by sending a condescending email censoring me for sharing my negative opinion publicly. They conveyed that they process negative reviews in a different manner than positive reviews. A red flag in my opinion! They then closed my account and took the $67 of rewards I had legitimately earned as a loyal customer who spent over $1200 up until my negative review. This business penalizes customers for writing negative reviews. People who value freedom of speech and the right to express your opinion without fear of reprisal should not patronize this business. In my opinion, this business engages in practices that undermine a free marketplace of unbiased, uncensored reviews. They need to brush up on Public Relations and how to deal with negative reviews in an ethical, productive, and non-punitive manner.

Nice people, but they didnt explain charges on the front end. Went in because my hands were dry and cracking, they drew blood to check for my liver functions so they could give me medication. 2 months, no results and then I got stuck with a $265 bill 3 months later because my Insurance will not pay for a hospital visit when they sent my blood work to the hospital. Very frustrated and disappointed with this place that they did not go over charges. Would not recommend going here if you have United Healthcare as you will be stuck with a bill 3 months after your initial visit.

This is the most slimy company Ive ever dealt with. Hands down. Judging by other horrendous reviews on here, I am not alone. Sounds like they have local patrons in Omaha that are likewise disgusted with them and their subpar business ethics. They sell products on their website that dont fit description and then refuse to offer refunds or exchanges--even for products that are factory sealed and could so easily be returned or exchanged. Dr. Schlessinger, the President and CEO of LovelySkin is one of the cruelest, meanest and rudest individuals I have ever encountered in my whole life. He constantly berates other employees in front of customers or patients - he doesnt care. Also, he and his management strongly urge employees to write fake reviews on Glassdoor and other review sites boasting about how amazing the company is but anyone with a brain can see how fake those 5-star reviews are.2. Have Dr. Joel Schlessinger, board-certified dermatologist, step down as CEO and President. He went to medical school, not business school. He has no idea on how to run a company properly and absolutely clueless on how to treat employees with any kind of decency. Sure, he is good at dermatology and helping patients. I will admit, hes good at that. But in the end, it doesnt even matter if he is a good dermatologist when he is a ruthless, evil human being.

They should tell the customer this before placing an order.Not only was I charged for a product I never received, I was also made to feel like it was my fault and was accused of having the product but overlooking the product in the packaging?!? I think I would know if I had the product!!! On 9/1/2017, I ordered the Nu­Derm FX Kit and an additional bottle of Nu­Derm Clear FX. On the evening of 9/8/2017, I received the box with only the Nu­Derm FX kit. I contacted customer service on the following day and let them know that I only received the kit and did not receive the extra bottle of Nu­Derm Clear FX. I was told that they couldnt help me until Monday when a manager would review the order. I was asked to send in photos of the packaging and recheck the box and packaging to make sure nothing was overlooked. I sent the photos as requested and rechecked the packaging and did not see the missing bottle. The following Monday, on 9/11/2017, I received an email fromArica, stating that their records show the product was shipped and asked me to resend the photos of the packaging materials and to look through the packaging again. They stated if I was still not able to locate it, wed be happy to send you a replacement. I replied that I had already sent the photos, I did not have it, and asked to just be refunded for the product or to have the product sent or I would cancel the payment with the credit card company. The same day, I received an email showing a video of someone packing a box and a UPS link showing the weight of the box and they told me they would not offer a replacement or refund for my item.Im not sure what happened or when it happened, all I know is that this was my first time ordering from them and my last. I placed an order online and was charged for something I did not receive. Other companies would send a replacement, and investigate with the shippingcompany. They certainly would NOT make their customers feel like it is the customers responsibility to investigate the matter and quickly assume that the customer must have overlooked the product in the packaging/box. I have never ordered something online and had this much hassle resolving the issue. They should clearly state to the customer before making a purchase, that if the purchase does not arrive complete, the customer has to eat the charge.

If I can give this website a zero review, I would! I ordered an expensive skin product from lovely skin, the Eau Thermal Avene Retrinal 0.05, which I am very familiar with and have bought from my dermatologist many times. I opened the box after the 30 day return policy, because I was in the process of finishing another nighttime skin product first. After I opened the box last night in an attempt to use this, I realized that the pump did not work at all. I must have pumped it 100 times to no avail, and asked my husband to try it too. This morning, he opened the canister to look inside, and we noticed that there was no tube connected to the pump. Anyway, I called lovely skin to tell them I wanted to exchange the product for a different bottle of Avene Retrinal. This should be no big deal, as I was sent a defective bottle that did not work. The customer service representative, Sabrina, told me that the pump should work if I try pumping it 20-30 times. After I explained to her that I sat there pumping this thing at least 100 times last night, and that I have never had this trouble with the pump before, Sabrina blamed ME for breaking the bottle. Her explanation was that my husband and I broke the bottle, which is an airless pump, and that they could not exchange the product because we broke it by trying to figure out what was wrong with it. It came broken!! What a racket. This philosophy of this store is clearly that the customer is ALWAYS WRONG ... STAY AWAY!!Update: It was only after I wrote this review that Lovely Skin begrudgingly offered to exchange the bottle, at my own shipping cost. To avoid the expense of this, and after googling the issue, I was able to fix the problem on my own. Still not going to shop with them!
