Tanner Miller = Rock star! I’ve read some previous reviews about Tanner and they were all great. I can attest to the fact that he was amazing in person. I reserved a 2021 Ford Ranger Lariat with the Tremor package for my wife in mid August with Tanner. I had another exact build on reserve at another Ford dealership. I told each place the first one to arrive wins. Baxter’s Ranger had a delivery date of one week after the other dealer. Tanner kept me posted on the status several times. He notified me the second it was in transit and again when it arrived and was still on the truck. Baxter’s Ranger arrived first. Tanner got the deal. He made the purchase process stress free. I highly recommend Tanner and Baxter Ford. He will not disappoint.

Lindsay reached out to me after an internet inquiry. With her persuasion, I delayed purchasing a local vehicle and made the drive to Papillion to see what Baxter Ford in Papillion had to offer. Knowing the style and year I wanted, but not thrilled with the color choices they had on hand, they found exactly what I wanted in their stock that had arrived 2 days prior and had not been put out to view yet for the public. It was exactly what I wanted. Lindsay was forthright and helpful through the entire process. She drove my beautiful Snow White to me the next day with new tires on it and walked me through any questions I had with the technology that was new to me. We got some bad news on my daughter’s car three days before sending her off to college and decided to take a look at a newer vehicle. We went into Baxter knowing exactly what we were wanting to purchase! We got the privilege of having a very knowledgeable sales member (JT) help us find the car of our dreams. With the low new car inventory we looked at what was available and did get to test drive. We decided it didn’t have quite all the features that we would love so we went ahead and ordered a car to our liking. We were told 20 weeks and our car arrived in 7. We were so excited! Upon arriving, as an out of town guest from Clay Center Nebraska, I was greeted in a friendly and professional manner in the parking lot and escorted inside. We came in after our car was deemed a total loss from an accident. We had a 2009 ford escape and were curious about seeing newer models. We set up to see a 2020 ford escape.they delivered.Our salesman, Tanner, was at the door ready with the car we asked for. They had one in stock for a very good price. he worked hard to get us under the payment we wanted. he wae never too pushy. The rest of the sales team was wonderful to work with as well.the appointment was last minute for 1pm and we drove off with our new car at 5pm.4 hrs for looking over the choices, doing the test drive and all paperwork complete, keys in hand. I would call that exceptional service.to be clear, they would have had us out faster but we haggled hard. They were a great team.

Saturday we walked in to baxter not knowing if wed find the car we wanted. Brody and Andrew(both sales guys) met us at the door and began the search for exactly what we wanted. After we were a bit unsure about what inventory they had they allowed us to take the truck we were thinking about, trucks are flying out like hot cakes. They totally could have told us no. We pulled up on Monday to return the truck and decide if we wanted it.Before we did anything Brody and Andrew the sales manager said hey we got this truck in and I think you guys should look at it! They definitely did the dang thing! I love my new F150!!!I cannot express how amazing they treated us! We had our 2 year old with us and the entire staff were amazing and helped keep her entertained from buying her cheetos and water to playing on the floor with her! Baxter Ford has provided great service everytime Ive come in. Helpful and friendly staff as well, making sure Im taken care of. I typically go in for an oil change/tire rotation, and the process is smooth. There was a bit of a mess up last time I was there where I ended up being billed for someone elses vehicle. That took a few days to get figured out after not being called back, but in the end was taken care of, especially knowing that those things happen. The only complaint Id have is the struggles Ive had in the past with getting my lug nuts off. They seem to be over torqued to the point that the air compressor nor myself by hand cant get them off. Other than that, they do great work and are a reliable place to go to!

My wife and I were looking at vehicles in kansas and in Iowa and the dealerships were not near as friendly as the people at Baxter Ford. I showed up and the truck that I had seen online wasnt the actual truck I was shown. It had big ugly after market wheels and tires on it that stuck out really far. I was told that sometimes they use stock photos of trucks instead of showing the actual truck. I had to buy factory wheels and tires from the dealer to get it back to stock, like it was pictured. Then they couldnt find the key for the locking lug nuts and when I followed up with them to see if they had heard back from the original owner I never heard back. I had to pay a 3rd party company to remove the lug nuts the forceful way. It could have been handled much better and left a sour taste in my mouth about recommending the dealer to anyone.On top of that it was the usual experience. You talk to a sale associate but they have to go and talk to the manager 10 times along the way. The manager has to come over and pretend to come to a good deal with you. Nothing unusual but in general its a poor model for the customer.Kyle from finance was great, he was the only one that seemed to have his stuff together. Got me a great APR and came down almost $2k on the warranty. Pro tip: just keep denying the warranty they try to sell and they basically give it away.Would I shop here again? Maybe if that was the only place I could get the car I actually wanted. Would I recommend them to my friends and family? Probably not.

Sheldon knows his stuff! He worked to get us the best deal on our new truck. They respect your time and don’t play games. We will be back in a few months when my current lease comes due.

The resolution to my service problems is the reason for a 5 rating. Over the weekend, my 3 month old 2021 Ford Edge lost all power. The battery was dead. After 3 attempts to the dealership and roadside assistance, my problem was resolved on the 4th contact. I went to the dealership on Monday to tell them my story and met with 2 gentlemen who were extremely responsive and assured me that was not the customer service expected from Ford personnel. Their response restored my confidence in them and their service unit. Thank you to Andrew Malouf, new car director, and Mitchell Hanson, finance manager, for their concern, attention and resolution. They went above and beyond my expectation and I appreciate it.

Made an appointment 3 weeks in advance with the service department to get my car looked at. Brought it in when they opened at 7 am on the day of my appointment. Waited all day for them to tell me they couldnt diagnose it, let alone work on it. Then to be told they might not look at it the next day either and they didnt have any cars to loan. Why make appointments when you wont even make a diagnosis? Also my service advisor wasnt professional in any way and made me feel like a jerk for asking any kind of questions. Terrible service.

My car buying experience at Baxter Ford of Papillion was great! The salesman that worked with me, Ed Schlegel, was very nice and easy to talk to. He had the car cleaned and ready for me to test drive right when I got there. He wasnt pushy at all, and he didnt try to haggle me on numbers like some salesmen tend to do. He made the process very easy and very pleasant! The finance guy, Sean, was also great to work with! He was able to get me a better rate than my own bank offered! Overall, I had a wonderful experience and would definitely return to this dealer in the future.
