Had two pairs of glasses that needed new prescription lenses and a print out of my current prescription. I shopped around town and got prices ranging from $160 to $370+ for both pairs together. Went to Eye masters and they wanted to charge me $800. $800?! For one of the frames they were asking $198 per lens. Per lens. The guy at the counter was serious. I ended up taking them somewhere else and paid $160 total for both frames. $800? Dont insult my intelligence.
Took 45 minutes to even get to me when I was only 1 of 3 people in the store at the time. Then my eye exam went fine until my doctor working fell ASLEEEP in the middle of my exam. If you are that tired you should not be going near my eyes! Terrible, I hope this gets addressed. Ill be going to another location from now on.
Horrid customer service. Walked in to get contacts and was ignored, they were talking to friends that came in instead of acknowledging customers. Refused to sell contacts.
It doesnt seem to matter which staff member is working...they are always grumpy and unfriendly. We will no longer be using this location.

Zero customer Service. We went to the Westroads store yesterday, on a Friday afternoon and no one greeted us. We had to wait and wait for our temp to be taken before we could even enter the store. I don’t have a problem with this, it’s just no one was there. The lady that was there looked miserable. She mumbled something about putting whatever we touched on the counter so it could be disinfected. We noticed all the glasses were smudged and we could barely see out of them.Once we found a pair we liked with no help what so ever, we had to ask the same lady if she minded to help us. Again she mumbled something and talked very fast. My daughter had to translate. She was unfriendly and unhelpful. I would not have bought a thing if it wasn’t for my daughter finding a cute pair of glasses.Customer service is literally non existent at this store. Will never go back.
Made shopping for my eyeglasses easy and fun. I had my eye exam and my fitting on Monday. On Friday of that same week I was wearing a new pair of glasses. No hassle! No fuss! Just professional treatment all the way around and a big smile on my face! Oh and by the way I look good to boot🤓
I was definitely impressed! One of the best exams Ive had in a very long time! Dr. Schindler was very thorough and showed me what was going on with my eyes and what to expect moving forward. When selecting frames, Kona was second to none. Showed me many options, and made suggestions based on what I told her I liked. Very knowledgeable, friendly, and accommodating!
I arrived 20 minutes early to my appointment and everyone was very polite and welcoming. After waiting for almost 30 minutes after my appointment was supposed to begin, I was asked if I would want to wait or reschedule because they were unsure how much longer it would take for the doctor to arrive. Once she did arrive I didnt receive an apology, only a thank you for my patience. After waiting 2 weeks for the promise date to arrive, my glasses did not come and am still waiting.
Worst customer experience I ever had. visited the shop on February 23 2020 Sunday noon the lady and the guy in the shop were not helpful and wasted two hours of our time though we had a very good insurance they said you have to pay $200 for one of the frames and when we talked about our insurance coverage the price came down to $51. When we didn’t want anti glare on the glasses the said they couldn’t bundle it out so they were forcing us to pay $98 for anti glare. As it doesn’t make sense we stepped out of the shop.One thing we noticed was that they did not show interest in gaining business.
I stopped by this location to see if they could fix my sunglasses even though I didn’t purchase them from there. The lady in the lab was great and able to fix them in a couple minutes! The entire staff was really nice and helpful! I plan on coming here for my next exam and glasses!
Went in to get contacts and glasses great service. Then I ended up breaking my frames within the first two weeks and wasn’t able to get back in under the 30 day policy to fix the frames. Kristina was kind enough to replace them as if it was still within that time. Kind, quick and reliable couldn’t really ask for more. I’ll be back for my next pair for sure.
Dont bother making an appointment here. I made my sons appointment a YEAR ago for tomorrow, and confirmed via text days ago. I get a phone call today telling me I need to reschedule tomorrows appt for next month because the other person they double booked us with confirmed first. Why did I even bother making this appointment a year ago?! The person who called me wouldnt budge.Terrible customer service, and poor scheduling policy. We will not return.
I had the most amazing experience at this location. I took my grandmother in for new glasses, and the employees went out of their way to help her. The manager Kristina Lozano was very friendly and knowledgeable about the right prescription and needs for my grandmother. I would recommend this store to anyone looking for their vision needs.
I had a great experience at this store. The customer service was awesome and the doctor was great. Thank you to Tess and Zoe for helping me find my glasses and to Andrea for getting them to me so quickly! I love them and will definitely be going back when its time for my next eye exam!
I havent worn glasses in years and have a big head so finding a good pair that looks good is hard. Zoe was extremely helpful and patient with my daughter and I for over an hour and half, bringing me different frames to see if they would work. I recommend going to vision works and asking for Zoe.
I went in today to pick out some frames and Tina took her time to help me pick what shape and color worked best for my face. The customer service was phenomenal and then I was told my glasses would be ready for pick up in an hour! Best experience I’ve ever had getting glasses!
Krista helped me pick out glasses and it was incredibly easy and I was able to find two pairs that I love. She never tired of helping me find those perfect two pair.
Ordered contacts a month ago to be shipped directly to our house & theres no tracking information that only 1 employee can find out & shes not in for 2 more days!! Dont even know what company they were ordered from to contact them directly, & the guy whos working only deals w/selling glasses & they dont share information w/other stores because it would be a HIPAA violation so cant even get a trial pair to get through however long. Glasses have old prescriptions from years ago & eyesight has drastically changed since then & am blind as a bat w/out these contacts that have been paid for in full for a years supply a month ago!! Trying to save up for lasik surgery as it has worked wonders for many people I know who had bad eyesight as well. Would be nice if the employer offered benefits, but we all know how that got ruined, so pay out of pocket for the insurance coverage!!
The staff and management in this store is phenomenal. I was greeted immediately upon entering the store and was able to get a same day eye exam even though it was late in the day. Kristina worked with me to ensure I got the frames and lenses that looked great and worked for me!! I will definitely recommend this store to my friends and family for their eye care needs.

Whitney at the west roads location was amazing with helping me get my glasses repaired after several people had told me they could not be repaired. She stepped in and made sure I was taken care of. I was very grateful she was available.
The Westroads group is amazing! My 8 year old daughter was fitted incorrectly for her very first pair of glasses and they were annoying and painful for her to wear. We came here and they had her fitted in 10 minutes and made her a new pair within 30 minutes. She is very happy and they look great on her! Thank you so much for making this a positive experience for a little girl!
Christina is awesome, her team is nice. I’ve been coming to her store before she became store manager. She’s just a great, friendly and kind person. I’ll stay as long as she stays.
Drove 4 hours to the Westroads Mall location to find out they over booked their appointments and could not make our appointment. Staff was extremely rude. Drove across the street to American Best with out an appointment got in and served in less than 30 minutes. Never will I return to Vision Works.
The office staff for the eye Dr here are very nice and helpful but the eye Dr that did my exam has absolutely no personality at all. He acts like he is just going through the motions and could care less about you. I had to switch Drs because of insurance but I won’t be coming back here.
Excellent and fast service. Had a little mishap where prescription sunglasses didnt turn out to be what I expected, Tess helped me out in quickly choosing a new frame that would work out better and get it fixed for no extra charge. They worked with my insurance and the whole experience was a breeze. Would definitely recommend!
I came to Visionworks with a broken frame emergency. Anna was a rockstar. She took the time to help search for frames and saved the day!!! So nice to interact with someone who is willing to go the extra mile to help others and provide great customer service.

When I got there, they were relatively busy. However, I was directed towards the back and all the staff were nice. The eye doc was incredibly nice as well and he addressed all my needs. Would recommend!

I was visiting from out of town and stopped into the Visionworks at Westroads Mall to ask if they could fix a pair of non-perscription sunglasses. I hadnt purchased them from Visionworks, but the technician took time to search for the needed part, and I walked out with my glasses fixed, no charge. They didnt have to do that. I really appreciated the customer service!
Front desk worker Sabrina is incredibly rude and the optometrist Gary D Finn. doesnt seem like he enjoys his job. They do not want to address your concerns and want to get you in and out as soon as possible even when theyre not busy.I dont know how this place even runs when they treat paying customers like this. Imagine potential and new customers. I called the manager and she didnt seem to care so if youre going for an exam just dont come here at all and pay the extra money to go somewhere else. If you have questions they act annoyed. The amount of reviews just shows you how rude these people are and how they feel much better then you.To top it off I dont feel comfortable with the people working here knowing my information or working on my damn eyes.The oak view mall location has respectful workers and doctors.

This place was disgusting! I went back into the room for my eye exam and it was dirty, run down. There were cans of Rockstar energy drinks on the counter and food under the counter. Honestly if the doc hadnt said my prescription didnt change that much, Im not sure it wouldve been correct. The exam I received didnt seem very thorough. The doctor was talking to me about how much wine she had drank the night before during the exam. Then she suggested I go to my doctor for a prescription for progesterone to help with my dry eyes, skin and hair. I did not realize the eye doctor was also diagnosing my skin and hair which are not in the least bit dry. When the exam was over, the doctor handed my file to one of the front desk employees and said she has tons of money in a flex spending account that needs used and is only getting glasses. So the gal started talking to me as if I was going to buy 2 pair of glasses without asking me any questions and left me on my own to search for new frames even though I could not see without my current frames on. I just paid for my eye exam, got my prescription printed out and left. I then received a text message about an hour after I left stating I had an eye exam scheduled for 1/1/20 at 12:45pm. I did not set up this appointment and have no idea why I received the text message. This was one of the worst experiences Ive ever had getting my eyes checked. I will NEVER set foot in another Visionworks again.
I made my son, husband and myself eye appointments right after our appointments last year. So we’ve had these appointments for a year. I got an email to confirm so I confirmed through email then I got a text to confirm so I confirmed through text. Our appointments were supposed to be this Sunday, I got a voicemail Friday saying they double booked and I needed to reschedule my appointment. Can you tell me why the people that made their appointment a year ago is the ones who have to reschedule? This is very irritating!

This Visionworks has a really wonderful staff of people, however, their glasses selection leaves something to be desired.

I dont have a problem with the exam itself...but if you try to order contacts from ANY WHERE ELSE...they will MONOPOLIZE your prescription. I tried to order additional contacts through 800Contacts, and VW stated what they have on file for my prescription, but they actually SOLD me what Im looking for previously (as in two months ago). Not happy as this has caused a delay that should never have happened.

I got an exam here and really enjoyed the experience! The workers were very friendly and helpful.
Let me just proceed to say that I will never come back to this facility ever again. My encounter was the following: the desk workers were extremely rude. They did not care or even want to help any of the customers. The eye doctor was not friendly at all and would become annoyed if you asked him any questions. To top off this horrible experience, I was told my glasses would be finished in the next two hours. As I arrived two hours later, they were indeed not finished and I was given the response Theyre not ready yet First of all you have my number and could let me know that they were not going to be ready in time. In essence, do not attend this facility or it will be one hell of a time.

The staff here was pretty good with taking care of me. Needless to to say I dont have very good eyes, but they have contacted me frequently on their progress with my glasses/safety glasses/ sunglasses and contacts, not to mention pulling online coupons to save me money.

I did not recomiendo this place the manager Kristina Lozano, I attended to her, show her the ones that interested me and she ignored me taking me to where they were his most expensive products, I insisted on those that I was interested and I returned to show the most expensive, this subject I told him what I was interested in, left me at the counter and went to the laboratory, wait for 15 minutes and when watching a girl on the team asked for help, and I answered, you were with Kris, I will talk to her, and never anyone else come to help me, just ignore me for another 15 minutes. I left the store and got my eyeglasses in usa eyeglasses online. Horrible service. I will never go back to this place. i did not give a star, just i did because has to be done to make a comment.
Just left there after a hour wait to have our insurance approved. Nobody seemed to know what was going on except the optometrist. They were not even busy. Next time I will study the staff to see if they cleaned it up. Very disorganized.

They messed up my lenses, 6 months i have been seeing double vision in which i went back in and told them the day after i got them and they were very sure that i wasnt, they never call when the glasses are in, they do not communicate very well at all. Please dont waste your time!
Worst experience getting glasses EVER. Staff was rude and condescending but even worse were the glasses. Almost 2 weeks and 5 visits later and they dont fit and give me headaches. Going back AGAIN to see what I can get done. Run away!
