Dr. Schaffer is absolutely amazing ! So friendly and patient ! And the staff is so nice. One of them sat there with me for a good 15 minutes helping me pick out frames, and was so patient ! This is definitely my new permanent place to come for eye care !!! 10 out 10 recommend!! 😃

The staff is very friendly and helpful. Dr. Schaffer is always very thorough and provides clear explanation of findings.

They ordered the wrong lense on my first pair of glasses because they wrote my prescription down wrong. Then they bent the frames replacing the lense with the correct lens. THEN I request my prescription to purchase glasses somewhere else and they send over the wrong prescription over again! Not to mentioned lied about being wrong and blamed it on my new doctors office. Would give 0 out of 5 stars is possible.

I highly recommend Schaffer Family Eye Care, I called them new years eve in the morning with a problem and they had me come right in and examined me. Staff is very professional and the owner (Shannon Schaffer) couldnt have been nicer, informative and clearly knew what he was doing. Again I highly recommend this place!!!!

I enjoyed my appointments and the wide selection of glasses. The staff is very understanding when it comes to small children that come with you and the facility has a play area just for them! Everyone was very courteous and knowledgeable. I am very happy with my experiences.

After over 20 years in the Air Force our family has seen more optometrists than I can remember. The doctors and staff at this clinic are our favorite so far and we are glad to have chosen Schaffer Family Eye Care as our permanent optometrist after retiring. Highly recommend.

Everyone in the office was awesome! I had a accident at the end of their day. They had me in to see the doctor in less then five minutes of arriving. The Doctor got the object out and taken care of so fast and was supper nice and easy to talk to.

Upscale office with friendly staff. Easy to make appointments online. I really appreciate that they have an Optos eye scanner so they dont have to dilate your eyes and they have a digital photo to compare changes from year to year. They also have a location in South Omaha.

I purchased new glasses and sunglasses from Dr. Schaffer in August, and moved after getting the sunglasses. They assured me that they would ship the glasses and they did, I had them the next week. After wearing them for a couple of weeks, I noticed that my vision was still blurry and I live in Maine now! I contacted the office, and they pulled my old RX from another company, had me mail both pairs back to them, made the needed adjustments and mailed them back to me. THEY ARE PERFECT! And I love them! I had seen Dr. Schaffer a few years back, but when my Insurance changed and I moved across town, I tried a national chain. Worst experience ever. I went back to Dr. Schaffer and was reminded of what an excellent eye doc he is! You sit in his chair and its only a few flips of the him asking option 1 or option 2 and hes nailed your prescription. The ladies in the office, I showed them the current style of glasses, and she had 4 within a few minutes for me to choose from. Excellent experience!!

Dr. Schaffer is hands down the best eye doctor in town!! He really takes his time to evaluate you and explain everything hes doing/checking during the process. Eye exams can be uncomfortable, but he has taken extensive measures to exclude all of the old comforts of dilation, etc. You can tell he his super experienced and continues to invest in new methods.

My son and I just got done with our appointment here. I would recommend this office to any person who needs an eye exam! We felt very comfortable and appreciated!! Great staff. No long wait and a genuine care for their patients!!

I dont normally write reviews, but this place is amazing. Dr. Shaffer correctly diagnosed an infection that two prior doctors missed. I kept having problems and thankfully found my way to Dr. Schaffer. He immediately recognized that I had a severe eye infection when two other doctors told me it was just a corneal abrasion and sent me on my way.Not only did he catch what they missed, but within an hour I had a new pair of glasses (because I couldnt wear contacts for a while) that I love. I followed up with his office several times to make sure everything was OK and the combination of meds he gave me worked.The whole staff was great. It couldnt have been a better experience. I feel really lucky that I went to him and not another doctor.
