I walked into the store and asked if they could adjust my sunglasses. The women was amazing! She took the time to make my sunglasses fit perfectly! I asked what I owed and she said I didn’t owe anything. Great customer service! I’m buying my next pair of glasses from them!

I just picked up two pairs of glasses from Stanton Optical on Dodge Street. I have never been able to see as clearly as i have with these glasses. Dr Kennedy is their optometrist . My husband had been raving about her since he got new glasses from Stanton. She was patient and took her time. It was a great visit.They have a wide range of frames at all price points and the people who helped my pick out my new frames were great.When I walked out of the store, my vision was amazing. I felt like Dorothy in Oz when she walked out and saw the world in color. I can not recommend Stanton and De. Kennedy enough - go visit for yourself. First time going here and I will never go anywhere else!!! My wife and I brought in our 2 youngest kids for their first time, 9-10 years old. Well, after a million questions, every pair of glasses on display tried on and spread out everywhere, 7 pairs of glasses and 2 boxes of special contacts later… they were still smiling and made our kids excited about their new accessories. I left with money still in our pockets because they made it as affordable as possible and helped us understand our choices. Plus we went back the next day and got 2 more pairs. The ladies that helped us… you rock!!!! With all jokes aside, thank you truly, cause I know I was the worst 🤭
Carol offered the most amazing customer service I’ve ever had had an eye place. Other places I’ve been to have been very short, not helpful, and borderline rude. Carol though was extremely helpful and answered all of my questions and had great insight on what glasses suited me best. I will definitely be returning!
I had to get a new set of glasses because the one i had before was poorly made from somewhere else. It took about 3 weeks, but the quality was great and most importantly, the customer service was superb. I think the manager’s name was Carol and she knew how to take care of her customers. Definitely a return customer.
This was my first time going to Stanton Optical and it wont be my last .From the moment I walked in I knew it was going to be a good experience.I was greeted by a very friendly receptionist who made me feel comfortable right away.Then another woman showed me to the exam room to get started.She too had a great personality and was so friendly. Ive never been treated so good at an eye appointment😊I will be visiting them next time I need glasses for sure.I went to the one on 76th Dodge would recommend them to family and friends.

Walked in a couple of days ago to get my glasses adjusted and decided to check into contact lenses while I was there and got the exam done without an appointment and even got contacts the same day. Alicia was the one who went through the process with me and she was very helpful.

This place draws you in saying you’ll be fully covered only to tell you they don’t accept your insurance which I’m pretty sure is illegal. I called to make sure they would take my insurance in advance of my appointment and they said oh yeah we definitely take that, so I took off work to come in for an appointment only for them to as soon as they saw my insurance they knew they didn’t take that one. They told me nope. And even before I gave them my insurance money hey we’re about to just do the eye exam anyways, until I asked them to make sure they took it. If I had gotten the eye exam and they didn’t take my insurance I would’ve been stuck paying them. Just simply for lying to me and trying to get me to come in and do their eye exam without insurance there was no way I was going to give them any money after that experience.
Utter chaos. Complete zoo. No one knows whats going on. Received instructions from four different employees to do four different things. Come over here, go over there, wait, no come over here, wait no, go over there. High pressure sales tactics. CONSTANTLY going for the upsell. Very loud environment.
I hate wearing glasses. I knew i had to get them. Went in and Carol Ann was amazing. she helped me be me. I Found glasses after like 10 pairs and she helped me narrow it down. I dont like them. But because of her i love them. Thank you so much for seeing who I am as a person and helping me to be positive about myself.
Thats my go to place for my eye prescription..the staff there will make sure your eyes are right! Plenty of options for your glasses or contact lenses needs.. insurance is accepted... Go get those eyes checked!! For u...for your family...for your health..
I brought William a mess and he fixed everything. I had an incorrect Rx in frames I purchased online with an updated Rx in hand from another provider that wouldnt fill my frames. He answered all of my questions, updated the measurements and filled the frames for a very reasonable price. He also took the time to teach me how to use them (progressives) when I picked them up. Thanks William!

I was very disappointed in this place...the first time me and a friend when there we was there with an appointment and they took are of 4other people before us....I was ready to leave but I was only there hang out while my friend took care of his business. Today I came and they really disappointed me because I called to make the appointment and I also was clear about what insurance card I had and they told me yeah I would be fine and so I set up the appointment so when we get there by the way it was two appointment for two of my childern..after already deal with dodge st one lane for over 25mins then I get there then they tell me that they can not bill my insurance co...ok so im like explaining to the lady that I told them what insurance I had and they told me it was good and they take it...keep in mind also it was on a non school day so my children wouldnt have to miss school...my children was sad about it and I also was upset...I know today was not the day that they found out that they can not bill this co...and im not sure if they just told me that because they didnt want to see my children because again last time we was there they help everyone before us as if we was not there...I really feel so type away about how they do things they definitely could have told me that they couldnt bill the co. Over the phone so I could of found another place to take them...waste of time gas and mental state of mind...I will not recommend this place to any one I know....I just told the lady to have a nice day and walked away from her.. as my children followed me...are car ride home was in complete silence I will never step a foot in there again but something tells me thats what they wanted anyway....

I dont know where to begin. The amount of care I received from Alyssa is just amazing. I was already nervous about going in due to being transgender. Not only was I treated respectfully, along with being greeted by name and as my preferred gender, Alyssa helped me pick out glasses that made a world of difference for me. Unfortunately, I had to cancel my order due to my fiances health issues. Alyssa was beyond professional and helped me through everything. She went above and beyond by even checking in a few weeks later just to see how everyone was doing. No sales pitch, just a simple, Im just calling to see how youre holding up, and how everyone is doing. You never get that kind of care from anyone anymore. I told everyone in my house that I refuse to let any of them go anywhere else but Stanton Optical.Alyssa - I cannot thank you enough, or tell how much your care and kindness has meant to me, and my family. This place is disgusting!I went in to look at frames and they were all over the place, it looked like a hot mess. The frames were extremely dirty and the place smelled terrible.The glasses aren’t organized by price or anything and it was overwhelming to look at them since I had a prove point in mind.
Ordered and paid for 2 pairs of glasses in April, still dealing with the correct prescriptions and here it is August 7th, 2021. Made 8 trips there. 9th trip, will request a refund!
Price is good but thats it. Doctor wasnt even there he did my exam from home on a tv screen...he barely spoke english and children were yelling in the background...and he got my prescription wrong so my new glasses are useless. Im not sure why he couldnt be there because the nurses are. Also the place is a dump.

I have been here twice in my life. 2015 & yesterday (2021).Each time I went I left with such a positive experience.Friendly staff, every single one of them&& the guy who worked there was trying to give me a discount on top of the buy one get one free. I didn’t even know he could do that 🤣 ended up saving near $500.They were also super quick for how many people they had in the store on a Tuesday night. ( around 6:10pm )I will definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to get their eye needs met.

Great service for me. No appointment needed for eye exam but it helps. A little hard to get in touch with on the phone sometimes but extremely great service in person. The manage Carol Ann is wonderful and really helped pick out 3 great pairs of glasses. Glasses fit great, look great and prescription is right on! Definitely recommend!

When trying on glasses another employee brought another customer right in front of where I was looking. Had to sit down and wait for them to finish because of social distancing. When I got an email letting me know to pick up my order only one pair was there. I waited for 20 minutes just to pick up. The second pair came much later. Had a much better experience at Wal mart.

I remember visiting this location when it first arrived in Omaha, the bright orange signage attracted me, but the prices and customer service is what made me a paying sastified customer!As hard as it is to find and retain great retail workers, I pray that Carol Ann, Alyssa, Sarah and others are being well compensated, because dealing with the public on the daily is not for every personality!

I have been going here for years and now I bring my son here. The optometrist is phenomenal and the staff is always so amazing. They always greet you with a good attitude and are always helpful if there is a problem they do what ever they can to fix it. Like I said I’ve been going there for years and will continue to do so for years on.

I would leave zero stars if I could. The experience in the store was fine. I paid out of pocket for new glasses. I was told they would be available in two weeks. I began to check on them periodically after that time frame, and was continually told they would be ready on a date that was farther and farther out. After 6 weeks of still no glasses, I began requesting a refund. Three weeks of refund requests later, and I still have no glasses and no refund. Three times now Ive been told a regional manager will call me to process a refund, and it has yet to happen. The customer service is absolutely terrible. Avoid at all costs.7/28/20 update: Carol from the Omaha store contacted me and sent a refund. She was pleasant, understood my frustration, and did everything she could to right the situation. She mentioned she recently took over the store, hopefully my previous experience wont be happening to anyone else under her management.
Hi my name is Phyllis, I had an issue a few times with my contact lenses, they were too thin and hard to get out my eyes. I met with Carol the manager from Omaha Nebraska. I went in today February the 12th. She is very apologetic. She took time to understand what kind of contact lenses I want it, and I need. I need thick contact lenses because theyre too hard to get out my eyes. I took all the old contact lenses back that I bought from them that could not use. She reordered my contact lenses they havent came back yet. But shes promises me, please contact for be easy to get out, a nice color. So Im just waiting for one more week timer for my contacts to arrive. Because I told her I was having knee surgery and I cant keep coming back and forth. So hopefully this could be a very satisfying experience when I get my contacts back. I was angry the first visit. But they made it right should we order my contact lenses that did not charge me for the order. Which I appreciate because I spent $300 the first time. So next week Ill be back on Google to follow up and let you guys know how did my experience go. Thank you I just want some comfortable contact lenses that fit. I dont mind paying three to four hundred dollars if I have to. I just want to be comfortable and happy.

Been going here since first moving out. Excellent customer service. Amazing value if youre looking for an exam and simple glasses only. Even when theyre hopping on a weekend, the team members stay positive and helpful. Shout out to Bill and Carol-Ann! They made the billing process easy to understand and will do everything they can to score you the best deal.
With this place you get what you pay for. Staff seems so overworked and sales feels pushy to sell frames. I did not like the doctor being virtual. They did it so fast and I felt the prescription off. When I went for a second time I had the same rushed experience. I translated for a Spanish speaking client out of courtesy and the sales representative was dismissive to the clients complaint on color frame and wrong prescription. Apart from not having a bilingual employee it was clear they do not know how to take care of customer service. This place feels impersonal and dismissive to client complaint.

Good staff when you talk to them in person. If you need something from them you need to go in physically because they will not talk to you otherwise. If you plan on moving or want to reduce physical trips, I do not recommend. Their phone tree alone is about 20 minutes long because they force you to listen to prerecorded ads before it even dials the office.
First with the negative: I was told they accept medicaid over the phone when I called before I went in. They said they did. After a bit of a drive and it being out of the way, I arrived. I was told there was a co-pay of $75 for Medicaid patients. I had to pay $75 because I really needed my prescription. I would not have gone in if I knew this.Positive: Friendly staff. I have gone to different businesses in the past year and this is the friendliest business staff I have encountered all year.
Stanton Optical is just terrible and I DO NOT recommend anyone use them!!!! They are very unorganized and dont appear to have a clue what they are doing!!!!! First time I used them around 2 years ago I ordered contacts, wasnt notified when contacts came in and my contacts were sent back!!!! So last February I thought Id give them a second chance but service and competence hadnt changed whatsoever!!!! The contacts I bought through them second time around were of inferior quality so I wanted to order different type/company with 1 month left on my prescription but was told Id have to get a different/new exam!!!! No way I was going to be involved with them for another year or ever again!!!

What is the point of making appt, when you still have to wait for an hour?
My wife went there to get glasses and was told they would be there in 2 weeks, but their 2 weeks is actually about 6 weeks with not getting anything for the wait. Wife went there for the 2 pair of eyeglasses and free eye exam for $59.95 but had to pay $150 before tinting. Pressured into buying contacts since they couldnt get the glasses there fast enough. Worse customer I have ever heard of. Theyre are lucky you cant do negative star ratings.
Staff was nice but was admit I try there contacts. I have had contacts since I was 13. I know what bands work for me and dont work on me. I went the whole weekend not being able to see and in pain. My eyes burned and itched so bad my eyes swelled up. Its been over 3 weeks and still havent gotten my glasses. You call about them and are on hold for over 40 min. Worse eye place ever. I will never go back. Also not a reasonable priced placed. NEVER GOING BACK!
This place is filthy!! I went during COVID where everything should be getting regularly disinfected. The shelves were covered in dust and grime, the glasses were gross. I didnt even want to put them on my face they were so dirty. If they are that dirty during COVID, I cant even imagine how bad they would be usually! The staff was fine, friendly enough. But so, so dirty.

Well for starters whoever made my appointment answered none of my questions. My appointment was scheduled for 350 I arrived 345. A guy from the front desk asked me what i was there for i said i was there for an appointment, he left for about 3 minutes came back and again asked me why i was there. Then I was told I had to wait for the only tablet in the building to get checked in while I was sitting there I watched a few people passed it around. It was not sanitized once. I sat right by the door the exams were being done in. Again I saw no sanitizing. After waiting for a child around 14 to check her siblings in because the mom had checked herself in first. Some lady from the front desk impatiently approached the child and started filling it out for her. Then just handed it back to her for her to finish the other 2 kids check ins. Anyways over half an hour of still not being able to check in I walked out. Worst eye doctor Ive ever been in.
I had a decent eye appointment. I ended up prepaying in full for glasses and a year supply of contacts a few days sfter my appointment. The store didnt have my contact prescription available there so they had to order them in, which I was never upset about. I was told Id receive a phone call notifying me my order was ready to pick up..after waiting twice as long as the given expected timeframe, I called to get an expeced ETA. I was then told 7that my order had been ready to be picked up for a week. When I asked why I didnt get a phone call, the woman told me the automated notification calls hadnt been working...Its upsetting the company knew those calls werent being made, so why wouldnt you manually call your customers to let them know their order was ready?? God forbid someone there actually provided some customer service...So, I finally picked up my order and when I get home I notice its missing 1 box of a 6 month supply of contacts. Which really, I wasnt even mad about at the time. I figured there was plenty of time to get it taken care of since I had the other 6 month supply. When I called, I was told theyd order it right away and it shouldnt take more than 2 weeks... Since then, Ive called countless times for updates. I stopped into the store on several occasions..the store manager could tell I was getting frustrated and he personally promised it was going to be taken care of and Id get the rest of my order quickly...this was in OCTOBER 2019.Ive made several calls to corporate, they told me to send in an email with the subject line Order Complaint explaining the situation and Id get a prompt solution. Ive sent that email a good 20-30 times and still no response. This issue has been ongoing for nearly an entire year. And still NOT ONE RESPONSE. I had pre-paid in full my entire order, this is nothing but theft at this point.

Even as i mentioned they didnt make my glasses too. Called to customer service three times, they just answer the call then they dont respond. worst place.

I needed glasses and Stanton at 7615 Dodge in Omaha was an easy location to get to since I am not familiar with the area. When I walked in I was greeted in such a friendly manner. They made me feel as though they had known me forever. Very knowledgeable and absolutely FANTASTIC customer service! I am definitely recommending Stanton Optical!!
Didn’t even get to see the doctor, then they wrote my prescription wrong, and now won’t pick up the phone have to go back in to get a new prescription. They do not take pride in doing a job well done.

Purchased 4 frames (daughter and self) very stylish and affordable. Absolutely love the option to use insurance or self pay. The staff is knowledgable, friendly and very willing to help. The new technology is different than Im accustomed too as the doctor is in a remote location operating the eye machine. He too was nice and accommodating. I definitely would recommend Stanton for your next eye exam.
I went to get an eye exam for contacts. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable and really seemed to care about me as a customer. Angie was very kind and kept it fun during the exams. I’ve never had contacts and had trouble putting them in and taking them out. Corryne gladly offered to do it for me numerous times and showed me how to do it myself. She made sure I was comfortable with the contacts and didn’t rush me to make a decision. Miranda helped me during the billing portion and made it a pleasurable experience. She even helped me get a discount. The customer service at Stanton Optical was phenomenal and I will be back for sure!
DO NOT USE THIS PLACE! Wish I could give 0 stars. Absolutely 0 professionalism and will mess your order up 100x times. They have lost my favorite glasses I brought in before and mixed them up with someone elses. They took over a month to deliver my contacts. Then when I had ordered a year, the associate had no idea what she was doing and was convinced that only getting me 1 pack with only 6 lenses was enough FOR A YEAR. I had already come in multiple times. When the manager tried to correct her not only did she defend why she did it but also basically began to curse HER MANAGER out in front of me and walk off. Manager told me they could give me a little discount and that was it. I could get more of a discount with their member program than what she was willing to do. Said she would call me back, never did. This place is horrific. Please spend the extra and GO ELSEWHERE.Also, if you attempt to call in for any reason you cant contact the store. And you will be on hold for over an hour waiting for a customer service hotline to help you. If youre a new customer they answer right away, but the minute they get your money, youre thrown into over an hour long wait to speak to anyone.DO. NOT. GO.
I visited their omaha store september 9th 2020. It is now december 4th.. still no glasses. Their customer service quality is lowest of the low as they dont know anything about anything pertaining to glasses or their wherabouts. Also, good luck getting a refund. Its in the courts now and looking grim. Forget def leppard, these guys SUCK!!
Had a 10:25am appointment. When I got there a few people were waiting already. Only 2 people were working and more people are walking in the door. 11:02, I still havent yet signed in, nor acknowledge since they were so busy. Finally at 11:13am I was told by the guy that was in the front to just go in the back. Waited another 15 mins before the lady gave me a tablet to fill out the questionnaire. Then she warned everyone that was there waiting that she is still learning. Really? After all these wait and the person giving eye exam is still learning? So I tried to be optimistic and decided to wait a little bit more. After spending 2 hrs of waiting, I decided to just leave because my time is wasted. Horrible experience and will never go back.

Called to make an appointment to get my daughters glasses repaired and order new frames etc. The man on the phone looked up the prescriptions said it was still good for 2 years and made and appontment. We showed up waited our turn. Daniel (sales manager) helped us. Seemed more like he was in a bad mood when he asked us how he could help. There was a lady complaining about her glasses before us so i figured that was why. I explained we had an appointment to get her frame fixed. He was like with an eye exam i told him just the frame. He took us to the back where it was packed so we stopped at the entry and he said we needed to go back there which i explained it was packed and i dont feel comfortable. He breathed hard and brought the tablet out to us which he didnt need to give an attitude that we didnt want to enter the back with no social distancing and operating from a tablet. After that he seemed irritated and short with me. My daughter was even uncomfortable. Long story short we wont be back. He said our prescription was expired and he couldnt help us. Different info than provided on the phone by them. We accepted what he said and went about our day but thought i should leave a review as they were a waste of our day and energy. If you want a bad experience then go there.

In November of 2018 I ordered two pairs of glasses and no line bifocals from Stanton It is now going on August of 2019 I have been there 10 times they still havent gotten it right and now I have one pair of glasses the lenses will not stay in and the other pair glasses has two different temple arms on it one from mans one from womens its your decision if you care to go there and blow your money myself I think its the biggest mistake I ever made in my life Im spending more time working for them getting my glasses fixed then I do on my full-time job this is definitely the worst decision I ever made in my life I dont plan on repeating it and I hope I save somebody a little grief by warning them first Dont go to Stanton its a waste of your time and your money now Ive got to go to small claims court to get my cash back!
If I could put a negative in front of that star I would.I went in to have new nose pieces put in my glasses. The lady was friendly, but she accidentally broke my glasses across the nose bridge. I picked out a new frame & its been 6 days ago now. No glasses, no return phone call from the store manager after calling 3 times. Now they are telling me that my glasses wont be ready till next Monday, leaving me with no glasses except sunglasses. The customer service is absolutely atrocious & they could care less how about you as a customer.ONCE SHE BROKE MY GLASSES THAT ORDER SHOULD HAVE BEEN EXPEDITED TO SATISFY A CUSTOMER. THATS HOW BUSINESS WORKS!MY FAMILY AND I WILL NOT BE GOING BACK AS REPEAT CUSTOMERS.

On 6/17/20 I called Stanton Optical for my boyfriend who had broken his glasses earlier in the morning. When calling, I talked with Roberto who informed me that Stanton was the right place for us to come because my boyfriend would be able to walk out with a 2 week supply of contacts, however glasses would take 10-14 days. I scheduled an appointment for 11:30 am and he went to that. Appointment took no more than 30 minutes via telehealth, no actual optometrist in the building. From 12pm-1:30pm, he sat waiting in the waiting room for the “Dr” to sign the prescription. He was then told to leave and he would be called once the order was signed. Around 3pm we called to find out what was going on. We talked to Luis, who said that the “Dr” was very busy and not even in building so he would have to wait for another day. We explained what Roberto said and also what the store had said, Luis would only repeat himself. We asked to speak to a manager and were told that Luis would have to fill out a form, but we would get a call back within 24 hours to discuss our concerns. It’s been over 24 hours, and we’ve heard nothing. A little after 3 pm, he received a call that the order had been signed and he should come back to pick the prescription and his contacts up.Once again, he sat in the waiting area from 3pm-5:30. He was then told that the order hadn’t been signed nor were there contacts for him. The store manager, Carol let him know that if she was able to get the order signed, she would personally deliver them to him that evening.At 6:16 pm, he received a text from Carol that she would be at our home within the hour. Carol arrived at our home last night at 7:51.We have to say that the staff in the store was absolutely amazing, however the staff on the phone (which appears to not be in Omaha) as well as the absolutely ridiculous process was insane. We would never return to Stanton Optical or recommend Stanton to anyone.
I couldnt be happier with the service and the affordability with an excellent warranty. Plus I was able to make an appointment 45 min after I called. I got right into the eye exam, picked out reasonable priced frames. I thought that was it until I was reminded that it was but one get one! Wow what a great deal! Thank Stanton Optical
So being from Omaha I’ve never heard of this place but I took my daughter there and when I say excellent service from the time we walked in they even had great music playing I was dancing the whole time we were there. The manager Jamal was very helpful with picking out the best deal that best fit us. I would recommend them to anyone who needs glasses with great service 5 stars without a doubt!!!!
Stanton did not have an actual optometrist to check my eyes.Instead, no drops and a remote screen optometrist to control the machine. The sound system was horrible. Plus, the contact lens and glasses prescription were very inaccurate. I do not recommend Stanton for anyone. 2 years ago, things were better at Stanton when a real live optometrist was on duty.
I have been wearing glasses for 25 years. The coating on the outside of the glasses is wearing away .nice. never had that happen before .
William was off the charts helpful. Professional. And friendly. He repaired our glasses quickly and free of charge. I recommend this place to anyone!
