100% recommend going to Wisconsin Vision. Stephanie made the experience so much fun trying to find the perfect frames for me. As well as Joy making the new patient process very easy, she provided great input on finding frames as well. The staff is all lovely, and great to work with. The Dr. is extremely personable and shows he truly cares.

I have had several lenses replaced in both regular glasses and sunglasses. I call to make sure Joy is working. She is pleasant, very professional and knowledgable. Brought in a pair of non-prescription sunglasses that I had purchased somewhere else with a broken nose piece and she replaced it complementary and also cleaned them. Five stars. Will return. Joy was such a nice lady.

Joy & Bradley were wonderful. I was visiting my grandchildren & lost the screw in my glasses. I tried to fix them with a screw from a repair kit & stripped the screw as well as getting it stuck. Joy tried to fix my glasses however because the screw was stripped & stuck she couldnt. BUT, she took the time to tape up the lose arm & recommended another vision company that had a lab. She felt they would be able to get the old screw out & complete the repair.What wonderful, truly caring people. My children had an appointment on August 12 in Oshkosh. It turns out they both needed their first pair of glasses. Picked frames out for both kids. Was told they couldnt put order in for my daughter yet because she needed a more precise test at a different location to get her prescription right. That appointment was on August 17th. I ended up calling on August 27th wondering if they were done yet because my sons were ready after 2 days. They had no idea what I was talking about and even suggested I called the wrong place. Finally got things somewhat sorted out and they said they never ordered them because I didnt pre pay, which I was never told I needed to go back to Oshkosh and pay before they put an order in. So I paid that day and was told there would be a rush put in.Still no glasses on September 9 and when I call the lady is rude and dismissive. When I told her there was supposed to be a rush put on them due to the error of them not being ordered. She asked me why and was seeming to put the blame on me, saying yes of course we never order them if you didnt pay for them. I was ready to pay for them the same day I paid for my sons! Was never told I needed to pay or contacted regarding this issue.Im really not one to leave bad reviews but she really needs those glasses, and this could have been avoided with better communication.Edit*. They reached out to me and are trying to make things right, I appreciate that, and realize these are hard times for a lot of places of employment and people are most likely being over worked.

Had an excellent experience! It was my 1st time going to pick out glasses and first walking in was slightly overwhelming with so many choices and not knowing where to start but Nora was a huge help! I think she could sense that I was a little overwhelmed so she didnt come on too strong with throwing a million different ideas at me, she let me just start wherever I felt comfortable, encouraged me to start trying different ones on at my leisure. Once I got an idea of what I was looking for, thats when I reached out to her to help find more. Finally after trying on 15 pairs of glasses or more it seems like, I finally found the pair I loved! Then she went into detail about all the different options for lenses and was very informative. I had no clue that there was so much that went into purchasing glasses! I am so thankful she was there to help guide me through this experience. Really cant see enough.

When my husband and I arrived we were ‘greeted’ by someone asking what we were there for- not real pleasant greeting. I was telling my husband how I didn’t like my mask as I was having trouble getting it on and tie it. We also were never told we had to wear a mask, which is fine, but that staff person said we were told when we set up the appt. We were not told and she ‘argued’ we were told. The staff person then said abruptly to me that I could leave and reschedule once the pandemic was over if I didn’t want to wear a mask! She was rude and making comments that NO staff should make to a customer. She then made comments to us about our insurance coverages and said she was just being honest. There is a way to say things to people and being rude is not one of them. She would make comments like ‘how long have we been here.. 30 years? I think we know...’ The Doctor was so sweet and loved working with him. The other staff were nice and enjoyed working with them. Found out at the end this lady was the MANAGER!!! She needs training on public relations!!!!

We have been going to this Wisconsin Vision for about 10 years. Each time we are joyfully greeted and feel as they though they always spend as much time helping as the customer needs. Joy, Sarah, and the doctor are always friendly and eager to help. We highly recommend Wisconsin Vison!

When I went in to pick-up my new glasses, I felt that the attendant was unproffesional and bordered on being rude. She just took my name and handed me my glasses in a soft plastic case. When I asked if she was going to fit them, she told me she wasnt going to fit them if I wasnt wearing a mask. She did not offer me a mask, so I went out to my car and got one. she insisted that I pull the top of my mask up to the top of the bridge of my nose. When I asked her how she was going to fit the new glasses over the mask she replied Thats the way we do it nowadays in a very unprofessional way. I definitely am not going to us Wisconsin Vision again.

Great place and quick on my visit. They made sure to get me the correct contacts to fit my eye since I have odd shaped eyes. They did a fantastic job to get my some contacts until my order came in! Great service!

I have used Wisconsin Vision in Oshkosh for a few years now and have been fully satisfied. Recently I reached out to make an appointment for an issue I was having with my eyes. The manager did an amazing job finding me a quick opening the same day!The doctor was so helpful and prompt when addressing my concerns and recommended a great plan to care for my eyes.Service like this is few and far between these days. Bravo for a job well done! Expectations exceeded!

The girls were awesome helping me select my new glasses. Joy answered all my questions and the glasses came in before the expected time frame. I was very pleased with the service and would recommend the Oshkosh store to others.

I have been a patient at WI Vision for 15+ yrs. & have been very satified with the staff & especially the doctors. However, on 10.2.2020 I needed to get a pair of new frames & Joy was very rude when I said I could not put my mask up over my nose (health issue). She would not let me come into the store even though no-one else was in the store. Because I needed new frames I suffered the consequences & entered the store, nose covered. Joy was not very hospitable & made it very well known that the virus, not the customer was her 1st concern. At one point, my mask slipped off below my nose as I was trying on my frames & I thought Joy was going to call in the Hazmat team! She shamed me in no uncertain terms! And, she mentioned that she would have to disinfect every frame I touched! This is over-kill! Customer service has taken a back seat to the virus & Joys attitude convinced me that everyone coming into the store was a walking virus waiting to infect her (apparently she has asthma). This is no reason to treat your customers like the plague & openly shaming them without any signs of the virus. This coronavirus, like the flu, will always be with us as viruses mutate, like the flu. And, like the flu, it will, unfortunately, claim lives. Viruses do that. Like the flu, take the proper precautions, especially if you have a compromised immune system but dont shame healthy people & make them feel like they are a walking virus ready to infect whoever they come in contact with, like Joy did to me! If Joy has asthma, then a people job is not for her. By wearing a mask, we decrease our oxygen intake with every breath by ~50% while re-inhaling our carbon dioxide (waste products) back into our lungs. And our masks create the ideal environment to grow bacterial cultures when we breathe into them as bacteria need warm, moist environments to grow in. We then breathe this bacteria back into our lungs! Requiring healthy people to wear masks may be politically correct but it is not the healthy response for healthy people. Treat the coronavirus virus with the same mind-set like you would do with the flu. This coronavirus has a 99.99% recovery rate. So stop treating your customers like they have leprosy!P.S. After my experience with Joy, I will take my business elsewhere, where I am treated first, as a customer, and not the plague walking through your doors.

While employees appear nice, they have no idea what they are doing at the front desk. I wasted my time going in for a recent appointment because their managers (old manager & new manager in training, Joy) told me that they had new trial contacts for me with new prescription. I was under the impression that I was getting a whole set for the year w/ a higher prescription. When I went to pick it up, only to find out they were trial contacts, that I needed to schedule an appointment to come back in a week after I’ve tried them because they need to make sure I’m comfortable wearing them. The only problem is, that I already had trial contacts and already did a visit with the doctor, but they insisted! So here I was at the appointment AGAIN and the doctor is confused why I am there. I had no idea either! Long story short, the managers are clueless and the other employee (runs insurance and wears glasses), also had no idea what is going on. The employee blamed it on a computer system glitch and told me to “have a better day.” My Saturday was ruined because I had to see them twice that day (one for my appointment and another to drop off my supposedly “old” prescription contacts). My day would not have been ruined if it were not for the hassle they put me through for their incompetency to communicate at the front desk. I paid over $300 out of pocket for my glasses and contacts, but still received a bill in the mail because an additional co-pay was missed (okay, mistakes happen). However, that was not the only mistake this place made. This was my first time going there and my last. I would never recommend this place to anyone I know.

I was extremely happy with my appointment today at Wisconsin Vision in Oshkosh, on Koeller St. They were so friendly and helpful from the phone call to make the appt to being greeted at the door. The Dr. was very knowledgeable and understanding to my individual needs. The optician, Sarah, was super patient with my time in finding just the right frames. I walked away feeling really good about my visit and excited to pick up my glasses!

The optometrist here is great. I have been a customer of theres for more than 10 years. This year I had a few issues with them. But Joy, there office manager, was great to work with and resolving these issues.

I havent gone to the eye doctor in about 10 years (oops) and I was a little nervous about going back. All the staff at the front desk were really helpful in answering questions and helping when my insurance was being weird. They were all very patient during the process. The doctor was super kind as well! Im usually not one for small talk, but he made me feel really comfortable and like it was no big deal that I hadnt gotten my eyes checked in so long. Once the exam was done, a staff member worked hard to help me find the perfect frames. She was great at walking me through the payment and insurance steps at the end. I had a really positive experience and Im glad I found my new eye place! I look forward to going back next year :)

I had to return my glasses because they did not feel right. Amanda the manager there was so nice; extremely helpful. Amanda bent over backwards to make sure I was a satisfied with my new glasses (Which I am.). Dr. Hubertus, was very nice, very caring about my health other than my eyes. They even adjusted my glasses until I was satisfied. Plus, they do the adjustments for free. I would HIGHLY recommend going there for an eye check up, glasses, sun glasses, and contacts.

Last year I checked this place out because it was covered under my insurance. My goal was to find a pair of glasses that I absolutely loved, which was hard to do considering I didn’t ever like to wear glasses. But the young lady there helped me to find the perfect pair, a pair that I was proud to wear (going out and getting my picture taken). This year I went back to renew my prescription. I got safety glasses, the same glasses for home, and contsct lenses. I never could get contacts in. I had to sell my halloween contacts for that reason. But once again the young lady there helped me out. During the 1 hour class she taught me a better way to open my eyes, told me what I was doing right, how to further improve, and how to remedy common occurrences while wearing contacts. Lo and behold, I was able to get my contacts in, out, and back in again. I’m so excited to be wearing contacts. It is day 2 and I got them in on my own today thanks to one very helpful person. I recommend this place to everyone I know.

Pros: Nice selection of glasses.Concerns: On a very recent visit I had changed my mind on my order I made on a Thursday evening and was told Friday morning I am sorry your order has been processed and you will be charged for a new order. After doing some checking I understood that vision centers often have a return policy and will adjust your order. Lesson learned: know for sure what you want before paying.

I had a rude lady at this oshkosh center. She was so rude about my insurance change and cut me off while I was trying to figure it out and I was so upset with her attitude I left. I went right up to appleton and got my answers. They were smart and know alot about customer service. Im glad I didnt give up. I loved the appleton glass place much better

Been going to Wisconsin Vision for years. These last 2 years have been horrible. First my husband has a botched exam by a new dr and ended up having to go back for another exam due to the contacts being wrong script. Now I have had 2 sets of trials...the first pair just didnt feel right so I called and had a 2nd pair of trials ordered. This 2nd pair couldnt have been the correct script. I called same day that i put the trial pairs in and stated they didnt seem right either. Not one question on how or what was going on...just that dr was out on vacation and they would call me in a week. I ended up calling...no one seemed to know what was going on and the come back was we need you to come in for another eye exam...that I now would have to pay for...ok well not my screw up...arent trials just that? Trials? To make sure they work for you...? Sorry maybe I am wrong about customer service because this whole time I was dealing with headaches due to the contacts. No one seemed to care about that. Oh well...three patients lost on their end. No empathy showed...not even a hey lets get you in sooner. Had that happened I may not be going somewhere else. But I am...apparently they just want your money and dont really care about your actual eyes...

Do not go here for your glasses!I needed to get my glasses sent back 4 different times, each time it failed inspection, and the lenses kept falling out. And every time they had to send it back, they told me it would only be a week, and it ended up being double that. I paid $400 for glasses I couldnt even use for 2 months. And there was no re-imbursement or apology, they made me feel like it was my fault that they messed my frames up each time.I also paid extra for no-scratch lenses, which I cant even see out of after only having them for a year because theyre scratched so badly. And I only used the cleaning products that THEY supplied.Terrible experience
