Wow! JL Studio did a wonderful job on my makeup for my wedding so I kept them in my regular routine... but for other services! I now get henna on my brows and a lift and tint on my eyelashes. I wouldn’t go anywhere else! It always looks amazing! :)

Samantha and Katie both provided services for my wedding. Samantha was the lead artist, doing my hair and makeup and Katie did hair and makeup for some of the moms and bridesmaids.When I had my trial with Samantha, I came in knowing I wanted to do something outside the box with bright colors. She seemed to enjoy working on something unusual and was happy to spend a little extra time trying out a few variations on the look to make sure we nailed my vision. She also made some great suggestions that improved upon my ideas and really pulled the look together.On the day of the wedding both artists were on time and stayed on track with the timeline throughout the morning. Katie did a great job doing makeup for my mom and mother-in-law to be and doing hair for my bridesmaids. Samantha did hair for my soon to be sister-in-law and my stepmother and she really brought her A-game for my hair and makeup. Both turned out fabulous, even better than in the trial, and both lasted the whole day with no problems. I had airbrushed makeup, which I recommend for the staying power. I had no issues with smudging or transfer or sweat. Additionally both artists were sweet as pie and we really enjoyed the 4 hours we spent with them. I wish they could have stayed for the wedding!

I cannot recommend JL Makeup Studio enough! For my wedding in October we had Samantha doing our hair and Jae for our makeup. Both women are INCREDIBLE!!! They are so talented and honestly just a great time to be around. I was really nervous going into my hair and makeup trial. I never wear makeup and Im extremely picky over my hair, plus these were strangers and I didnt know if we would talk or sit in a weird silence, overall just very nervous. I walked in and they made me feel like we had been friends all of our lives. They are the sweetest women, which is wonderful because they are SO good at what they do. My trial went perfect and they really listened to my feedback and made the very minor changes I asked for. The morning of my wedding was honestly one of my favorite memories of the day. They made a morning that could have been filled with stress and nerves turn into hanging out with friends and getting all glammed up. Overall amazing women who are very talented, you wont go wrong booking with anyone on their team.

As a wedding photographer, I KNOW how big of an impact great hair and makeup has for photos. That is why I recommend JL to all of my clients. Not only do they make my brides look FANTASTIC, they are who I go to anytime I need hair and makeup for my headshots. I wouldnt trust anyone else to make me look my best, I NEVER wear makeup but any time someone from JL does mine I dread taking it off because they make me look so amazing!

We just had our wedding his past weekend. The ladies we got for our hair and makeup were phenomenal. They met us at the venue at 9 for a 4:30pm ceremony start and it was perfect! They really made it to where my girls and I were able to relax and actually enjoy getting our hair and makeup done without feeling rushed. They talked and made it a fun atmosphere. They did airbrush makeup for my girls, the mothers and myself. I also showed pictures of the hair styles I wanted and they provided the exact look! Thank you so much for getting our day started right!!

Beautiful!! I wanted a more natural look for my wedding, and the team nailed it!! The makeup lasted ALL day and stayed amazing! Even though the tear and lots of dancing. Such a fun, easy to work with and GREAT staff. Highly recommend!

I WISH I COULD LEAVE 10 STARS FOR MY REVIEW. My wedding was on 9/28 and our makeup was FLAWLESS.Amanda and Ashley made my bridal party, my mother, and myself feel absolutely stunning. These ladies took time to see what each (10) bridesmaids wanted. The attention to detail and killer eyelashes brought us all to tears. Without a doubt I recommend this studio. They were able to do ALL ethnicities (one of the main factors in hiring them). Amanda and Ashley are not just great makeup artist, but great people, thank you for making my perfect day— beautiful. I was just maid of honor this past Saturday and Briann and Amanda were our makeup artists! They arrived on time, worked very efficiently (we had around 14 people needing their makeup done!!) and finished on time. Their work was STUNNING! We all felt like models and as they were doing our makeup were very sweet and explained anything we asked. They even made comments like “omg, you look amazing!” “I can’t wait until you see this!”. I couldn’t recommend them more!!

Love working with the ladies from JL Makeup Studio, especially JaeLee and Briann! They are uber talented. Just look at my brides who use them - they photograph beautifully!
