I had the PB Brownie and it was exactly what I was thinking, though it was very rich I appreciate the quality, reminds me of a good fudge but in form of ice cream. I samples some Mint Chip and it was delicious along with the Birthday Cake!

Im blown away!!! This ice cream was the stuff of dreams! Since recently becoming dairy intolerant, Ive dreamed of actually incredible ice cream not just passable and not just in vanilla or chocolate. This place is the bees knees! Even the normals in my family couldnt believe it was vegan! I cant wait to go back. Its my hands-down favorite vegan ice cream in da burgh.

Holy... this place is amazing!! I think this is the only 100% vegan ice cream parlor I’ve ever been to. So cool to be able to have that nostalgic experience again! The staff are super helpful and friendly (it was hard to make a decision but the guy behind the counter was patient and gave us great recommendations)!The taste of the ice cream.... out of this world. It’s been ten years since I’ve had dairy ice cream but as far as I remember, this is even better. SO CREAMY. And such unique flavors! We couldn’t help but get all four in two different sundaes. Couldn’t decide which flavor was the tastiest!They also sell awesome merch. I can’t wait to come back here. Happy one-year, and long live Sugar Spell!

Planning on going back.Tried it out for the first time today. We just had the ice cream scoops. The ice cream tasted great, and this is from non-vegans as all the food is vegan.The staff was friendly and plenty of street parking was available (it is metered during some hours of the day, a quarter for 30 minutes, as of this review)The ice cream seems expensive, but it is really filling. One scoop felt about about the same as eating 2-3 scoops. I would recommend starting with one scoop for your first time there just to see how full you get as it may vary by person. I could not finish my 2 scoops. They have half-scoop sizes, too.The flavors we tried were all great and they have samples. They apparently have 4 flavors available daily, with other flavors in take-home containers in a freezer. The ice cream texture is about halfway between soft serve and cookie dough. It is smooth, but has some weight and give to it. We liked the texture. Loved the magic sprinkles on top. Ended up taking a matcha white chocolate almond pint home with us.Edit: just tried the matcha white chocolate almond pint. Tastes like matcha Macaroons.

Not overwhelming and ever changing. The best part about this place though is that the owners are the employees and they honestly make you feel like part of a family as soon as you walk in, this is more than an ice cream shop it is love!

This place is great. It seemed like forever for them to open but the wait was worth it. So much easier to get their product. They make the best, small batch vegan cashew based ice cream. This stuff is actually healthy in moderation of course. It has a lower sugar content and is not sickly sweet like many other vegan ice creams. The folks who run it are very friendly and hard working. They deserve your support!

Some of the best Ive cream around! Yes, its vegan and yes, its still some of the best Ive cream around. Also, the staff is awesome and the shop is one of a kind. You can tell a lot of hard work goes into this operation! The ice cream is cashew based, which gives it an interesting flavor slightly different than dairy based ice cream but goes wonderfully with their peanut butter flavor! Its a must try experience for all lovers of ice cream.

The best! Went today and not only was the ice cream delicious but the staff was so very welcoming and sweet!! Came here with my boyfriend for their Wednesday night pop up and it was the best vegan ice cream Ive ever had. Weve been wanting to come here for a while but its a far drive for us. Totally worth the travel. Its so delicious. I highly recommend the mint chocolate chip.

I went to Sugar Spell Scoops yesterday for the first time with my two year old daughter. She has a severe egg allergy and cannot have certain ice cream with certain toppings. That was not the case at Sugar Spell Scoops. She had her first Sundae ever without the fear of her having an allergic reaction. The staff was incredibly nice and the ice cream was delicious. We will definitely be back regularly.
