Been a customer since Clinton was pres, and never had a bad experience. Never been hit with a surprise charge, and been given good advice about whether a particular repair is worth it given age/value of car. Also good advice on models to look at/avoid when kids hit that age.

They were absolutely wonderful. I was traveling through Pullman, headed back to Montana, when I began having problems with my Jetta. Its definitely not perfect under the hood (which I knew) but I was worried I wouldnt make it home with the suspected hole in the charge pipe. They fit me in about 15 minutes after I called, on a Friday, (as I was hoping to drive another 5 hours that day), provided a temporary fix as best as anyone could, topped of my fluids and were so helpful and kind.

Excellent customer service, and quality people all around. I had heard from multiple friends over the years that ICS was a good place to take your car. I took their advice, and went to ICS with my Toyota Corolla when it was making an odd sound. Long story short, Carl and Marie were great!! I will definitely be using them from here on out.

Ive taken my 2008 Mini Cooper here many times. Carl is friendly and always honest with me about what things need to be done, what things we can wait on, and if theres something that I have to call Mini about because of proprietary computer systems.I find the prices at ICS very reasonable, given how much more Jerrys or Mini would charge for the same service. Ive started sending my friends here as well.

They lied about a service they performed for me. Told me I had oil on a part that wasnt anywhere near the oil case. Charged me $146 to do absolutely nothing.Wont be using them again.

Great honest local shop. When shown what the dealership said was critical fixes on my car for over $1500 - they found the truth, an alignment and radiator hoses and clamps for a total of $240. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

While I have previously posted a review for ICS, my most recent trip there was with a different car. This did nothing to change my experience, as the mechanics there have incredible expertise and timeliness. Their work is efficient, well done, and theres no question that they care very much about each customers situation. I am moving away from Pullman, and am sad that I will no longer have them as my mechanic, but strongly encourage you to take your vehicle there. You will not be disappointed!

Hmmm, I actually did not use them. They could not look at my car and gave me an appointment 3 days out, said it would cost $130. Just to diagnose. Also told me due to COVID, I would need to find my own ride home. I went to OReilly car parts and they handed me the diagnostics contraption, I plugged it in and all 6 cylinders were misfiring. Went over to Heritage Auto / Tires they kept the car, gave me a ride home and charged me for a much needed tune up.. They were awesome.. I was so happy with them that I bought a set of 4 new tires !!! Customer Service is Key

I have been a past customer here and had been happy with the service. I have a 98 Camry with 77k miles on it. Called to see if they would do a transmission fluid change. Their cut off is 20 year old cars. They made me feel dumb for asking. Even mentioned i was a previous customer but still no. So I guess you dont want any of my business which is fine by me.

I was in town with my dog for a vet appointment when my key fob needed a battery ASAP. I didnt want to shut the car down for fear that it may not start back up. Carl went to the store for me and purchased the battery I needed. Truly great and caring service. If I lived in Pullman I would take my cars to his shop!

My car was making a terrible noise. I had it towed to Import Car Service. Carl was able to check it within a couple of hours. My car needed more repair than he wanted to do at his shop. He felt it was a job for the dealership. He was honest enough to tell me to take it back to the dealer for the costly repair and he didn’t charge me for his service that day. I would certainly take my car back to Import Car Service.

Over the years ICS has earned our familys trust time and time again. Its refreshing to have a mechanic who has your best interest in mind. The staff are friendly, honest, and excellent communicators. I highly recommend Imported Car Services.

Talking with Carl is a pain. When I ask him questions, he doesnt let me finish my sentence, his attitude is not friendly, and he does not keep his word. I used to get my previous BMW serviced here a year ago and I have felt the same since. I find it ODD that this is an ASE certified repair shop that DOES NOT take warranty. Very sketchy. I also find it odd that this is an IMPORTED/FOREIGN repair shop, and the owner complains about working on BMWs... This shop only cares about dollar signs and will upcharge you on parts. I will never give them my business anymore! Additionally, most of these reviews are fraudulent so be cautious.

Carl has always provided me great service at a fair price. He does a great job giving the vehicle owner the options without trying to sell unnecessary maintenance. I’ve received much better treatment and honesty at ICS than at the dealer.

These guys got me in same day for a broken bolt in my turbos flange seal. Gave me a great price, did great work, and the customer service was by far the best Ive received in town. 10/10 will go again for any other mishaps!

They (Karl and Maria) know what they are doing. In my case, they always mentioned the cost before doing anything. There advice have been very useful to me over the past 10 months I have been using their service.Moreover, they have been here for pretty long (more than 20 years). Their behavior and customer service is the best I have seen so far.

If there were a 6th star I would give it Marie and Carl. My daughters in college and her car had some issues. I called Marie and she scheduled an appointment immediately. Imported Car Service has been servicing our Toyota RAV4 for years. They have also maintained our multiple Toyota pickups. Carl and his entire crew are friendly, knowledgeable, and FAIR. They genuinely want to keep our business, and want their customers to feel good about the whole process of maintaining and/or repairing imported cars. I have known Carl & Marie for over 20 years, they are good people!

Best auto repair in Pullman - for imports. Karl has always been very fair and his team has done good work. Hes even steered me away from unnecessary work. Dont try to bring your domestics!

Carl and the friendly women who work at the front desk have always been so kind! I am a woman in my mid twenties with little car knowledge but Carl and his associates have always been so nice and honest about what is wrong with my car. I trust them a lot and recommend them to all of my friends on the Palouse!

Very honest family owned shop. My 2002 Subaru Outback threw a rod coming back from Seattle, so I had it towed into their shop. Carl took one look at it, and told me the repairs would be more than the car was worth. Another shop may have charged me hundreds of dollars for the diagnosis, but he didnt charge anything. Instead he told me I might be able to sell it on Craigslist, which I did. Weve also had many of our other vehicles worked on in their shop and found the pricing fair for the quality of work. Finding an honest shop is rare in this day and age, and Pullman is lucky to have ICS.

I recognized a car for sale on Craigslist as being in this shop’s back lot, so I went there to ask about it, assuming the shop was selling it. Karl acted like he didn’t know a thing about it. Seemed weird to me that it’s in his lot and he can’t tell me anything, but okay... it’s not his. I get it.Went out to take a look at the car; a couple minutes later, he came out to bring a different car into the shop. I ask if he’s got a lien on the car for sale. Dude looks at me and slams the garage door in my face. Flat out rude, this guy will never get my business.

I cannot say enough positive things about ICS. We were in a BIND with my daughters car having a special key lock and it was stranded at Les Schwab as they were not able to get it off. The dealership we purchased it form EVENTUALLY did the right thing, but Carl was an absolute god send. He offered to go to Les Schwab (which he did multiple times) to take a look at the car to see if he could get the bolts off (my daughter attends WSU and we are in Bellevue). We did not end up needing his services but his professionalism and courteous nature was certainly an amazing gesture. Will definitely have her go there for future!

These guys will take your car in and, without telling you any sort of pricing, start doing work. Had my car towed to another shop after a $1300 quote to fix a coolant leak including a $77 flat fee for a pressure test (more than double what many other places will charge). While I cant speak to the quality of their work I know they will perform work without consent and then have no problem billing you for their time after the fact. Very disappointing, take your car somewhere else if you dont want a sneak attack on your wallet. Dishonest.

Before driving from Western Washington to Pullman I had the oil changed in my Nissan Murano. The car ran poorly on the drive over and barely ran when I got to Pullman. I took the car to Carl at Imported Car Service to diagnose the problem. He personally drove me to the golf course so I could make my scheduled tee-time. Before I finished the front nine he called me to say he had fixed the problem. Turned out the guy who did the oil change back home had disconnected an air intake tube. Carl was fast, professional, courteous and the charge was very fair. I highly recommend Imported Car Service!!!

My daughters car is in the shop now with a major repair ahead (blown head gasket). But I am reviewing based on my experience so far. There is nothing worse than having your kid away at college and having her car give up. Chrissy from ICS is the best. This is so stressful (and expensive) but Chrissy has made me feel like there is no other place my daughters car should be. Chrissy has given me all of the info, including the compression test results, and informed me what all the job would entail. Could it be done for less? Probably. But could it be done better? Doubtful. Its nice to have already established a great connection with a mechanic local to my daughter...its one less worry on a mothers mind. Thank you Chrissy and ICS. You have my ongoing business.
