This is one of the best Cafes in New Jersey. I love the Breakfast Bars, Gluten-free/Vegan Chocolate Chip cookies, and Gluten-free Pecan Bar. Remarkable!Great Dirty Chai with Homemade Cashew Milk....
Cozy, comfortable feeling as soon as you walk in to this coffee shop. Freshly baked treats - exceptional coffee at a very convenient location before launching off to explore town. Neatly tucked away across the street from the train station. My favorite place to grab a cup of joe Ask for the love bites for a quick pick me up....
This place is truly amazing. The staff is kind and friendly. Also, masks are not required. The coffee is outstanding, and the food is terrific as well. I will definitely be going here, rather than Starbucks.
Best local coffee around! Cappacino is strong, great drip brew, chill vibe.
Owner was super friendly, the coffee was great, and the breakfast bar is a must try!
One of my favorite spots in the area. Great atmosphere for students or those working remotely. As well as a sweet stop to meet up with a friend. The service is always quick and quality. Reasonable prices and delicious baked goods. They are open for take out orders and seemed to be taking all precautions necessary.
You will find real baristas here.
The Blueberry Lemon Crumble muffin might have been the best muffin I’ve ever had in my life. It was perfect. Moist, crumbly and so flavorful.
Cool place, friendly and professional staff. Cappuccino was okay, I wish it wasnt served in paper cup. It was a long wait too with only 1 person working. Slightly overpriced.
Hand made ice cream, scones, breakfast bars and cookies! The coffee is excellent and the cookies are very excellent, also! Perfect Sunday morning nosh!
Coffee, a cookie, and a chance to think. So not Starbucks!
Friendly service, good coffee, and solid savory scones.
Decent place if youre looking for something better than DD, arguably Starbucks (and thats from someone thats not a fan). But Id definitely expect better coffee from a small roaster. Was under extracted (watery). Pretty disappointing. Place seemed cool though.
I cant really tell the difference between coffee tastes.. Coffee tastes like coffee to me.BUT, here, wow, I actually could tell the difference in the higher quality and taste.I really liked it and recommend it a thousand times.
For some reason this location tend to make a lot more mistakes than the chestnut ridge store. You cant beat the coffee though. I always keep their beans in my kitchen. Its really a blessing to have such a superb roaster locally. Between their beans and the beans from my blue bottle subscription, I get to pick the perfect match for my day.
Amazing service and outstanding drinks. The coffees are delicious and so is the matcha latte. I love the cozy environment. It is the perfect place to work.
Very cute and super cozy. Delicious coffee. Spacious. Really nice workers. Will definitely come back here to do project work. Highly suggest their latte!
This is a coffee place with a friendly atmosphere. It seems like it would make a good place to grab a cup of coffee (fancy or regular) while writing a few paragraphs for the next great American novel in one of the corners. When I went here, I relaxed by one of the window seats and watched the traffic go by on a rainy day. Good for the blood pressure (well, as long as youre not overdoing it with the caffeine)! Since I usually stick to the main drag when Im in Ridgewood, I havent discovered this place until last year. Id say its worth going out of your way for, at least once!
The lady behind the counter was extremely nice and helpful. However another lady walked up to me and said you have to have something to sit and i said yes I already had something I just finished it and put it away, but she said I have to have something in front of me to stay. I just thought that was pretty messed up since I already bought something and I dont want to come back.
Quality coffee from around the world with a hip, relaxed, vibe. It’s a great place to do some computer work, read a book, or enjoy an afternoon.*I highly recommend trying the organic ice cream made with all natural sweeteners (no high fructose corn syrup)
Best matcha Ive had! If youre looking for a cute coffee shop with great quality coffee, delicious treats (they offer gluten free and vegan options), homemade ice cream (also vegan options, soft serve and hard ice cream), and really nice owners, this is the spot! 5/5, recommend!!
Lets start off with the fact that Im actually taking time out to write a review..which I never do no matter how much I like a place, haha. But, this is a special case. Plain and simple..awesome espresso and coffee. And amazing scones. So awesome that it made me want to write a review and tell everyone. The owner was such a sweetheart and I love supporting small, local businesses especially when it comes to coffee. The place has a nice vibe and cozy decor. Will definitely be making this a must whenever Im in the area :)
Great service, relaxing atmosphere and great coffee. Best mocha Ive have in a while
Delicious coffee, and great atmosphere. They had live music in there on a Saturday afternoon, which was perfect for the mood and not too loud so as to not be able to read or have a conversation.
Terrible service due to the owner/manager.An older man who I assumed to be the manager of the facility was extremely rude to my boyfriend and I who were trying to study and do work. When we arrived, most of the seating was already occupied so we moved two smaller tables together. We had brought iced teas from a previous location along the avenue, but bought over $25 worth of extras from this facility. We were sitting, eating and doing work for about 2 hours and the older gentleman approached us and told us we had to separate the tables. He began to scold us because the tables were antiques. I was taken back by how rude he was therefore I didn’t say anything and let him move the tables back to their original positions. I apologized because I was unaware. I continued to do my work and was in the middle of writing something when he came back over a minute later and without saying a word he moved my table even further away from my boyfriend’s. I was completely taken back for the second time, but did not want to say anything again because I was just trying to study.Another 25 minutes goes by and he notices our iced teas. He comes back over and tells us, “You need to throw those out now. You can not have outside beverages here.” At this point I have had it with the poor and rude management. I begin to tell him that he should not be so rude to customers and that he could have asked these things nicely. He continued to argue me from across the café. I would have gladly moved the tables back and thrown out my other drinks if he had just approached us kindly.I was absolutely shocked at how he speaks to customers and will not be returning. There are many similar reviews like mine all over the Internet!
Employees defiantly not wearing masks despite signage suggesting that patrons are required to wear them. Unpleasant and unaware of the answer to basic questions like roasting date.
Great coffee, independently owned and operated by a really nice couple and their bulldog Delila. Its nice to sit by the working fireplace in the winter, or out on sidewalk in the summer. A much better option for freshly roasted coffee (try roast their own) than the corporate store down the street.
Best coffee and delicious pastries. Wonderful staff. Love the owners and the atmosphere.
Charming coffee shop with working fireplace and other cozy features that make this departure from cookie cutter competitors worth the extra cost.
Lovely place, great chill hipster vibes, with tasty coffee and pastries. With only one person making the drinks, it was a little slow though. Not a place if you’re in a rush for a quick coffee, but definitely a good study location or casual date spot. Everything is also a bit pricey.
SO RUDE!!! A party of four wanted to have coffee and a bite during a glorious spring Sunday and the owner refused to put out a table and chairs. Meanwhile, the cafe was EMPTY. What kind of cafe is this?גבר-יש לך בעיה? איזו מין קפה יש לך?!!
The place is very beautiful, minimalist with great tea, coffee choices. Whenever I want to write or read I go to the Ridgewood one. Try their gluten free things.
The best coffee in town - excellent service
Bought a latte 2x from this facility. Don’t get me wrong it was good. However, the second time I went in I forgot to mention I wanted a pump of liquid sugar. I simply went back and asked the owner, I think, & the barista if he could add it and the woman embarrassed me in front of other customers saying “ I’m losing here, you know, you should’ve mentioned it sooner” I apologized that I forgot, went to my car- got her a dollar and never stepped foot in there again.
Great coffee spot, do grab a brew when in the area.
Great cafe ... Urban vibe. Feels like I am back in NYC! Love that the owners have American bulldogs.
Came in to do some work, ordered a latte and pulled out my bagel. Manger comes over and says I cant eat the bagel in the cafe because the boss is watching over the cameras... Good idea to lose current and future business over a bagel...
Nice place to chill out and chat with a coffee... wish the parking was a bit easier.
Espresso was really good, decaf was watery. Very expensive. Small little muffin was $2.00. seriously. Owner seems nice and a really nice decor. Just very expensive
Really authentic coffee with an authentic bulldog to support the name. They have some books for studying, reading, or socializing. The hours are not conducive to evening coffee, but it’s ideal for a chill morning.
What a gift - as good as it gets. Order an espresso and discover how amazing this drink can be. Skip the water, the flavor lasts and lasts. Macchiato, Cappuccino, latte also perfect. Enjoy!
Great owner, great employees, incredible atmosphere. The decor transports you. Delilah, the eponymous bulldog is a sweetie.
Excellent coffee and simple sweet treats . When you are lucky, you may get to meet the bulldog they named the place after .
The staff the Ambiance the coffee and the fireplace. Everything about this place is perfect cant wait to go back and Im looking forward to checking out there other location in Chestnut
Big space. Friendly atmosphere. Great coffee and treats. Wish a broader menu. Great place to work or meet someone for coffee.
Excellent coffee drinks and tasty scones and pastries. Convenient location to NJ transit, and fast service makes this a solid cafe.
Wonderful wake me up in the morning chocalate chai with Vanilla and some amazing top of the line Quinoa cookies I go 15 miles away just to get the coffee and the owner and workers are pleasant and worth meeting. Also its a very clean spot where you can also have great meetings at and sit outside if you choose
Great place with indoor fireplace and good coffee. can spend hours here doing your work
The coffee is incredible! Great selection of gluten free and vegan baked goods.
The barista was rude to me. On a separate occasion the manager was exceptionally disrespectful to my family. They followed my friend onto the sidewalk to loudly berate her for attempting to pay with a credit card.
This place was pretty cool. Just an average coffee shop, but the staff members were extremely friendly and didnt make me reach the ten dollar minimum for a purchase.
Food is a little on the pricey side, but the coffee is fantastic. Been coming here for years, Bulldog is one of my favorites!
Nice variety of coffees served in a historic building. A pleasant change from the typical coffee shop.
Has more space to sit than the competing small business coffee shop in ridgewood.
This is a wonderful place to chill. Lovelymusic. Love the cappuccino & the scone.
Lovely food options and customer service
Good coffee. Okay price
Great neighborhood place. People are friendly, excellent coffee and baked goods.
Really great cappuccino, love the atmosphere, the open fire is awesome!
Best coffee I have ever had in a beautiful warm surrounding.
Typical Ridgewood ‘tude- arrogant, flippant, rude. Not worth parking. DD is a few steps away and the service is superior.
Awesome coffee shop in the heart of downtown Ridgewood. Delicious baked treats and even better coffee drinks.
There is a competitive market in Ridgewood for great coffee. In my opinion, this place is the winner. Great ambiance, too.
Their sweet matcha latte knows no peer, also excellent space to work on your laptop.
Pleasant cafe with some really nice treats. The interior is designed with numerous old pictures, tables, counters etc.
Great vibe and decor. The coffee is very good along with pastries that are made on site.
Nice decor, decent coffee, but not a good vibe...For vibe Ridgewood Coffee...High barista turnover here, lots of dont signage...
Great coffee and pastries! If you appreciate great Yemen coffee, this one is place to go!
Knowledgeable and friendly baristas make a good espresso but its more about the atmosphere. Its bright and eclectic, they provide free Wi-Fi and large tables make it easy to work. Plus you have to meet their lazy friendly bulldog Dahlilah!
Great coffee and awesome vibes. Also the dogs are great!
Amazing coffee. Great matcha lattes and beautiful indoor seating.
Best coffee in Bergen County. Try olive oil muffins, you wont regret it.
Wonderful ambiance and coffee. It can get too crowded at times.
The espresso is brewed to perfection every time I go.
A beautiful small coffee shop that is putting out some great coffee at a reasonable price.
Love their lattes. Great atmosphere and plenty of seating.
Amazing coffee and relax friendly service and staff
Decent coffee. Very disappointed customer service
Many delicious vegan and gluten free options
Great coffee but a little pricey. Great atmosphere.
I dont drink coffee. Their hot chocolate is good, and everyone I know loves the coffee.
Best coffee and service around! Baristas are super friendly and the coffee is world class.
The place we have been waiting for! Fabulous.
Best coffee in Bergen county and best organic pastries
Excellent coffee, delicious Cappuccino and awesome environment.
This place keeps on popping up as a notification and asking me about reviews.. Ive never even been here nor do I plan on going. This is annoying..
The best espresso in town hands down.
Great coffee, and a pleasant alternative to the industrial coffee shops. Shop local, coffee local!
Nice choice for coffee to share with the coffee connoisseur in your life.
Love this place. Been going there for a long time.
