I came here on a Monday afternoon. This coffee shop is right on a corner next to Memorial Park, which is beautiful and has lots of benches to sit, read, drink coffee, and people watch. The coffee shop is small, the lighting dim, the decor is artistic and rustic. Seems like they got rid of indoor seating since the pandemic, which is fine as it prompted me to sit in the park. The staff was friendly and prompt, and the large pumpkin spice latte was delicious. The bathroom is spacious and clean, and has a diaper changing table. Pretty cool holographic poster, picture here.Metered parking is 1.65 an hour and the latte was 5.75.Would definitely come here again.
Baristas are nice, coffee is alright... cost almost as much as a venti from Starbucks (down the street) which is crazy to me. They have different types and plenty of variety to choose from. The place has an old look to it which was nice cafe vibe. I happen to sit outside which was nice as well. Cute little park next to cafè.
Best coffee. Goofy, (the 2nd time I was here, the barista was dancing and chatting about a video game-happy barista -> tasty coffee!) super chill, and down to earth baristas, I’m an east coast transplant to CALI, so I am always excited to try new coffee shops when I’m back here, but also really look for good customer service. You make a connection, chat about whatnot, and you’ve got a customer for life :)Ridgewood coffee company was recommended by a random stranger at the pastry shop down the street, so we tried it, and during my three week holiday here, I’ve had 14 cups of coffee or lattes (I know, because they have this punch card, where you can accrue free drinks! Oh, my kids also love their red velvet cake pops (the Oreo is okay...they aren’t baked onsite, I think, as they say Keremo cakes on the sticks, but hopefully locally baked) they are rich, and the perfect mix of cake and frosting. My super picky, tree nut and peanut allergy having kids can devour the cake pops :)There’s a 5 person limit in-store currently, so be ready to wait outside with mask on, but it’s worth it! And there are a few tables on either side of the storefront (it’s a corner location/lot) with two chairs per table, socially distanced :) it’s right in downtown ridgewood, and across the street from the park and steps from the NJ transit but to NYC. It feels like you walked into a Brooklyn cafe or an SF/East Bay coffee shop. It would be nice to see it filled with people working and enjoying coffee indoors, post covid. Oh, and there’s a bathroom to the left of the counter...
An excellent coffee place. Come here almost every Saturday we’re in the neighborhood. Particularly like that the espresso drinks are the right size (I.e. small).Service is always good.
Great coffee! The coffee not only tastes good, but is aesthetically pleasing, as is the cafe itself!
Amazing coffee. Love the care they take in all their roasts, especially the experimental ones! Between the skilled and knowledgeable baristas and the beautiful La Marzocco machine, I cant thing of a better place to get coffee from in the North Jersey area.
Love this place so much.
Enjoyed an espresso from this spot. I have also been a few other times in the past. It’s a small quaint spot with a good vibe. Window seating or you can sit down. It’s usually been pretty busy when I have gone so people definitely know it’s a good spot for sure.Quality beans here and they have several types of a brew!If you’re in the area. I would go here for sure.
This is our fourth time revisiting Goose Feathers. We have always enjoyed the atmosphere and selection available to patrons. Our first visit was in the spring of2020 to arrange our daughters destination September wedding and try out places to eat. Our most recent visit was January of 2018. Goose Feathers staff is friendly, quick an professional. The breakfast & lunch selections are plentiful. One of our favorites is the salmon BLT, which cost about $9. The breakfast were plentiful and the shrimp & grits quite good. The location is great, near so many shops and excellent walking tours.
Got here around 2:30. Ordered black coffee. Really weak cup of coffee. Will not go back
Great selection of coffee, and much more welcoming than St... well, you know, that other coffee place 😉 Friendly, fast service. Conveniently located a block from the Ridgewood train station, literally steps from the bus station, and adjacent to Van Neste Square park, where you can enjoy your purchase on a park bench in the warmer weather. Prices arent bad considering its in Ridgewood. RECOMMENDED 😎
As a coffee-file, I found Ridgewood Coffee Co to be excellent. Its a good cup of Joe.
I had shrimp and grits-wow, so creamy and tasty, I didn’t have to add any salt. Hubby had breakfast burrito with salsa on top. He said a little went a long way and scrapped the salsa off the second half. But we would both go again. Nice place
They serve the best coffee In Bergen County! Since my partner and I are really picky about espresso and mostly make our own coffee at home on weekdays. We have tried coffee in many different places in other towns, but most of them are either burned or tasteless. That’s why we only come to Ridgewood Coffee on weekends to start a day with a cup of wonderful coffee is our ritual ;-)
Still requires mask for entry with no exceptions. Will never return.
Love the vibe. Have been coming here for a decade. I wish you guys offered different roasts of beans. Not a big fan of light/blonde/organic roast. It tends to have a strange taste. I do only come here for the vibe not their coffee unfortunately. It would be great if they offered European style dark roasts that don’t have strange aftertaste.
Best coffee ever
Great coffee shop and nice service. Always a positive experience.
Best Latte I’ve had in a long time. Talented barista, charming.
My first time stopping in just to grab a coffee and OMG! The MOST delicious latte!! ☺
Unfortunately I had high expectations for this place, but was let down by the quality of their coffee. Would not recommend! ☕️🚫
Always perfect coffee ☕
Over priced and does not allow indoor consumption.
The baristas change very often and hence the taste of the coffee, your experience can vary from best cup of coffee to worst cup of flat milk with froth. Extremely inconsistent taste, good to take a sip of your coffee before leaving the cafe.
Very rich blend of coffee. Great service that pays attention to every detail when making your coffee. A lot better then Starbucks for the same price.
Awesome coffee and the best almond croissant any where. Ok maybe not every where, the boy and the bear in Redondo Beach California takes the prize for the almond croissant 😂😂😂 seriously
Sometimes better than others.Coffee is always good. Barristers vary. One guy rejected tips of coins smaller than a quarter (I was giving about 10 dimes for a small coffee?!). Quirky, hip atmosphere. I like this place. If it wasnt for the one experience, Id get be it 5 stars.
Friendly service. Love the dark taste
Small, intimate coffee shop selling excellent coffees, teas and other beverages, both hot and cold. Scones, muffins and other cakes are available, also. We had the New Orleans iced coffee which hit the spot on a warm day of shopping. An oatmeal raisin scone was great, also. Nice stop.
One of the best coffee houses I have been to. On the same level as what you would find in a hip, gentrified post industrial neighborhood in Brooklyn or San Fransisco. Coffee varieties are constantly updated. single origin, blends, espresso, and loose leaf teas are plentiful. Cool staff, good music. Try the cold brew.
Really comfortable atmosphere. The coffee is delicious and bartenders and baristas know what they are talking about and also make a mean coffee. I absolutely enjoyed my time here because it was my first time learning about what a community sketch pad is. A collection of random strangers expressing their emotions on pen and paper. The creativity and artistic ability of these drawings astounds me. Check it out, express your creativity while sipping some refreshing coffee.
I love this place. I come here to get work done and the coffee is amazing. the people are really friendly too. I’d give it a 5 but today there were so many flies :( Hope they fix this problem soon, as I really don’t want to look for another coffee shop to go to in the area.
Very nice and cute little coffee shop. Definitely a good alternative to your local Starbucks.Good spot to bring and do your work if needed be.Best choice of coffee (to me): Large Turtle 5$
Nice spot.Great ambience.Good music.Vibes are great.Service can be better.Tasty.
Not your run of the mill Starbucks, but a nice little place. It looks like they have the Lamborghini of espresso machines. I had an iced decaf Americano. The espresso seemed to be carefully prepared and the flavor was sweet and medium-bodied. I dont know about their food, but no complaints about their coffee.
High quality coffee and comfortable atmosphere. Would definitely recommend.
Great local coffee joint. Tons of brewed coffee drinks, really good cold brew. Definitely a one up on Starbucks.
It’s been about two years since my wife and I are coming here. Local coffee shop, which sell coffee that actually test good, a real coffee, not a coffee drink that major Star ...... sells. Staff- local young adults, very professional and pleasant.
Best Chai Latte around!! Have been to many coffee places and can’t duplicate. Sitting having a Chai right this moment in Cold Spring New York coffee shop and very disappointed.
My favorite coffee shop! Thanks Terry and the RCC crew for introducing me to great coffee.
Great cold brew slow drip coffee from Peru.
Great selection of coffee that has been brewed and prepared different ways. I was very pleased. They also have great hours and some space to relax and have conversations.
The coffee here is very good! Try the New Orleans style iced coffee and you won’t be disappointed! Very refreshing and very tasty.
Delicious, everytime
I love this place they have fresh coffee some fresh fruit muffins pastries teas and Monday nights they have open mic
Great staff and great coffee. I really like this place to relax and get some work done. I’ve been here a bunch and really enjoy it. I highly suggest stopping in.
This place is the best. Great coffee, good vibes, & enjoyable to either work or meet a friend at. Graham cracker coffee w almond milk is a fave.
Great coffee and they do it well.
Nice place but they give paper cup even when you sit. for stay mugs would be better. At least would show the difference than chain coffe shops. That is nice corner
Best coffee you can buy. I drive 20 minutes out of my way to get a flat white. here. They use Intelligentsia with nothing but the freshest roast date. Do yourself a favor and grab a bag of this coffee too.
Delicious coffee and one of the best Thai iced tea in town. Macaroons are hit or miss sometimes you can tell theyve been there too long as they have that fridge taste to them.
The best coffee shop in the area. Everything Ive had here has been fantastic. Try the Guinness latte!
Super friendly staff, eager to please. Delicious and wide variety of latte and other coffee drinks. Dog friendly outdoor. Great place to sit and watch the street. Feels like Seattle. Try the turtle and almond joy lattees.
I like theyre vietnamese iced coffee and pair with one of their croissants and thats a perfect start to your morning.
The best quality coffee around! Great single origin brews.
Nice coffee shop on the corner of Ridgewood Avenue near public transportation .They have small baked goods and herbal teas.
Best espresso
Awesome little coffee shop with great choices of bulk tea. I had one of their Smoothie Health antioxidant drinks delicious a must-try.
Its not huge on the inside, but it has some nice coffee and tea flavors/creations to try out. The staff is nice and its a good experience, overall. Id recommend.
Handmade coffee beverages and a huge selection of tea. I love these one-off shops more than the huge chains. But, The baristas are hit and miss when it comes to their friendliness and they tend to play some strange music towards the end of the day. All in all, a nice place to get some work done or have a coffee date.
Great coffee. Highly recommend.
Cute coffee shop brewing Intelligentsia coffee with a laid back vibe. The Vietnamese iced coffee is great! The decor could be a little spruced up.
Great coffee and service
Always great coffee and friendly, helpful service.
Good coffee. The place is tight and it is not comfortable when lining up to make an order.
Amazing local atmosphere uniquie products.
The coffee is great, but some employees are friendlier than others
Awesome barista and a delicious iced matcha. Located on an adorable corner. Absolutely love their scientific looking percolating system. Freaking cool place dudes.
I dont know when this place changed owners, but I have a hard time walking past this place without getting a coffee these days. The Vietnamese and New Orleans coffees are especially nice if youre feeling decadent.
Good coffee drinks. Cute, small spot. No real food options.
Best coffee shop and snacks items....
Totally in love with this little and classical coffee shop.
Awesome Barista. Location is convenient. Great place to stop while shopping.
2stars because Ive both enjoyed and walked out of this place. Most recently walked out. Without buying. People behind the counter were indifferent and uninformed about what they were selling. A drink I asked about was not described accurately or completely and the Iced coffee looked like iced tea. They didnt seem to care. My $4 has to be able to buy more.
This is my on the go shop and what I love with this shop is their iced coffee was so good and some other flavor was good as well. The place was clean and friendly staff.
Great atmosphere, the type of place that will start your mornings off right
Great coffee and good place. Better than starbucks or any other coffee shops. The staff is friendly and nice.
This coffee is the best in Ridgewood. Forget that over-priced burnt garbage from... well, you know.
One of my favorite places to go. Quality coffee and friendly service. Have tried many things here and havent been disappointed with any of them.
The environment is really nice and relaxed, but i personally didnt think the coffee was that amazing. I really like coffee and i wasnt wowed by the coffee here.
Come here all the time. Nice place to read or do some work. Sometimes the music is just too loud
Nice atmosphere but I dont about the coffee taste
Pretty great shop, but coffee didn’t live up to the standards put on independent coffee shops. Was good, but not great
Love that they have organic milk.
These guys know their espressos. Best espresso within a 30 min drive.
The best local coffee spot period! The staff is top notch and the menu is fantastic.
Great coffee and tea, cool vibe, live music. Kinda small which can make it loud and easily crowded.
Excellent coffee. Very fast and great service. 👍 👍 👍
If you don’t enjoy your time here it’s because you chose not to. The people are what you need in a town lacking of human character. Also they have coffee. That’s a plus
Good coffee of course but the barista really seemed to be knowledgeable and friendly. This is the type of place you go to to skip the chain store assembly line coffee that most people have gotten used to.
Great Great Great Coffee. Horrible, Horrible, Horrible Music. Its loud and overbearing. Now dont get me wrong I love all kinds of music but seriously playing heavy rock at very high volume in a nice and quaint coffee shop is just ridiculous. It would be ok even if they just turned the same music down, but its so loud. Eitherway get the coffee and leave, unless you want to yell at your coffee date. Or simply just use sign language to communicate you might get further.
I love it here. Great vibe and high quality coffee.
