Love coming here!Super friendly competent staff every time I come here:)Curbside pick up through the Amazon app has been exceptional experience each time. The staff really picks out the most fresh produce that I don’t even have to double check the items anymore. The items seem even fresher than when I pick them out myself:)
Nice market, smaller than the nearby Paramus store. However, theyve got a great selection of items, nice produce, cheeses, meats, and fish. Friendly and helpful staff
Excellent WFM, spacious and clean. well organized . not over run by amazon shoppers like other locations.
This smaller older whole foods market tucked into downtown Ridgewood has organic produce beautifully displayed, fresh and frozen seafood, a butcher, deli, bakery, cheese dept, hot prepared foods, sushi and salad bar, and a friendly little Allegro coffee bar (an alternative to Starbucks). There is an attached Whole Body shop with supplements, soaps, lotions, organic cotton clothing, and related specialty items. There is an Amazon locker where you can choose to have your Amazon orders delivered (not groceries!), and there are some items each week that are an extra 10% off for Amazon prime members.
Nice people but some times they not familiar with products, especially vegetables and fruits. Some times they give you a wrong answer.
Food is always well stocked. Lots of variety of mostly healthy foods. Helpful staff.
This is where I normally shop for my groceries. I truly do like this place. The people were very nice and during the pandemic all employees were extremely kind. They also did the best that they could to provide with delivery options and pick up options. I usually have a pretty good experience at this whole foods and it is never too crowded. They also have good options for the hot bar and the people behind the counters are also extremely friendly and make jokes with you.
I’ve been a loyal customer of Whole Foods for over 20 years (and Bread & Circus before it was acquired and absorbed). I probably shop at WFM weekly and have been shopping at this particular location for over 10 years. The Ridgewood location is small but relatively well stocked and has the charm of the days before the larger WFM stores. Don’t get me wrong, I do frequently shop at the larger stores like in nearby Paramus, but I find the smaller, intimate setting more pleasant and enjoyable.During the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic, this location also did a great job managing shopper traffic / occupancy and seemed to be on top of sanitizing carts, etc.
A lot of great and healthy food
The WORST experience. I’ve been an avid shopper at Whole Foods for the pat 8 years and never had i experienced a bag thrown at me. Asked the gentlemen to double bag my groceries, and he proceeded to giving me an attitude telling me it’s ‘just bread.’ When i informed him I’d like to bag the rest of the groceries myself, he proceeded to throwing the bag toward me. Rude and uncultured. I suppose Whole Foods is targeting a different demographic. Horrible experience by far.
I was pleasantly surprised to find Whole Foods open yesterday on Thanksgiving. Our family needed to pick up a couple items last minute on the holiday and Whole Foods made all of this possible. The staff at the registers were also very courteous. My only suggestion for this store is I would have liked to have seen the full pizza bar with the wood burning oven found in most other Whole Foods locations.
Extremely small inside. Not a lot of variety or aisles
I go here for the Amber oil they carry! I love this specific store bc the young gentleman that works back in the health and beauty department is ALWAYS so friendly n greets me everytime!
Whole Foods in Wayne NJ is a new store replacing the 0ld A&P. It is nicely laid out and has a great selection. Of course you do expect to pay more for the groceries.
On the morning of March 26, 2021 I went to Whole Foods Market in Ridgewood after going to numerous stores in search of the items I needed to provide my family with a traditional Passover Seder. After being to numerous different grocery stores (including another Whole Food Market) and being highly disappointed in their selection. When I entered Whole Foods in Ridgewood I noticed that there was a display with everything that I needed, being a person of Jewish faith there are certain times of the year where our celebrations are highly specific. Whole Foods in Ridgewood had everything I needed from Kosher Salt, red wine for my brisket, and macaroons in a beautiful display which really showcased the essence of Passover. I would like to commend this store and their merchandizer for understanding the importance of this holiday, and producing a display that included the proper paper on the bottom to ensure the purity of these products... Bravo Whole Foods Ridgewood!
The best grocery store. Im a customer since they opened the Rigewood store.
The store is small and quaint, but dont let that discourage you from stopping in to shop. They have the best quality food products that you would ever want. I travel out of my way to shop there. Not only is the food of the highest quality, but the staff working there are friendly and most helpful. You wont be disappointed.
This is a Whole Foods in Ridgewood NJ. Not much more I can say. Pretty standard Whole Foods. I know that probably most Whole Foods carry the unsweetened jiffy style knock off peanutbutter, but I was at this Whole Foods on a lunch break eating free samples for lunch, when I discovered this particular peanut butter. It’s V good but it’s not an every day peanut butter. Special occasions only. But not too special because as I said before, there is no added sugar in this jiffy knock off. It’s all about the consistency. Sweet peanut butter is for children. This Whole Foods led me to this product, which is widely carried at all Whole Foods but Ridgewood Whole Foods you were my first.
We have been going to this place for curbside pickup almost every other day. Very easy process, organized and staff members are courteous and friendly. Love this place!!!
They have just about everything you need with a couple of exceptions of course. I was looking for some baking items that were low carbs as well as baking sugar substitutes that were healthy. They have some but I didnt find what I needed.
Friendly staff, fresh food, great seafood at reasonable prices. Strict Covid protocols followed.
The place is great
I shop here when I get back home from work. Its good overall just it is overcrowded at times and the line barely moves
I love it here.
Used the curb side pick up option. checkin using mobile app as I was leaving to pick up the order. everything worked out smoothly. there are 2 designated spaces for curbside pick-up. theyre both located in the corner under the whole body sign
Good selection of produce.
Perfect Friday night Covid outing.
Gentleman at the door was very nice as he counted customers.
Very great staff during these tumultuous times!
Love this Whole Fooda, convenient location, always has the fresh produce I am looking for and I am always in and out in no time. Friendly and helpful staff, lines move quick.
Always a great place to dhoo
Great organic product selections they have specialty products for my family gatherings
It was nice to be out. Still a bit weird but good
Online ordering pickup is excellent
Love this place!
This place is no safe bcoz no clear in store. Veg. is not fresh. Many time I went but still no fresh.
Stephanie was the best. She helped me find all the vegan food that I needed . I love this store- very friendly.
Great product
Small store with a good selection. The store was very busy but you still checked out quickly. Purchased a few things including soap by the ounce. That section with a pleasant aroma felt so tranquil.
Small but they have everything!
Probably the best supermarket around. Unfortunately the selection somewhat dwindled after Amazon took over, but the prices went down
I have yet to been able to successfully use the Amazon lockers from scans to drop offs.
I don’t normally write reviews but this was an incident I have to express, with this whole pandemic going on and having to wait in line to get inside whole food, I was disrespected by a short Caucasian male who might have been security as he was directing people inside due to high capacity in the store. I believed I was racially profiled and I am definitely going to take this up with higher management.
I trust WF.
This is a review of their vegan cupcakes, not the store as a whole. I just want to warn everyone that while the cupcakes look appealing and well crafted, the cake is dry and stale about 9/10 of the time. Its really disappointing because they are not cheap: 4 dollars per normal-sized cupcake. Its embarrassing to have bought some for entertaining guest only to find out that the cake is pretty much sawdust in your mouth. I always want to give them another chance but after three times of this, I am pretty much done.TLDR: Dont buy the bakery vegan cupcakes. They are sawdust in quality.
Awesome grocery store and good service. My favorite grocery store in town. As long as you shop the produce, meat and dairy, I find t cheaper for the most part than Stop and Shop and the quality of the produce is head and shoulders above the other places in town.
Yes, very nice and loving store, clean and substantial.
Friendly staffs. Good products.
Was fine got what I wanted
Super small store. Would be nice if they expanded to be the size of the Paramus location, but the body section is my favorite. Over the years, every one has always been so helpful.
This place has a great location for everything you want like food, getting your amazon packages from the amazon locker.
I never give reviews but I felt I had to every time I shop at wholefoods Ridgewood and I need any kind of help in grocery there is this one young lady Becca who pleasant very polite and goes out of her way to help me I have watched her on several occasions and she always greets customers with a kind word and smile wholefoods is extremely lucky to have an employee like this, I have been to plenty of grocery stores in my lifetime and a majority of the employees seem miserable, thank you so much for making my shopping experience pleasurable and thank you Becca for always being a sweet wonderful helper!
Horrible experience. If I can give zero stars I would. Being handicapped I called ahead to make sure they had a scooter available. The person on the phone said yes. So when I arrived not only was the scooter not available it was broken. I wouldve never come here if that was the case. Obviously. The way this was handled was not professional.
The best food markets ever
One of my favorite places to shop. Food is excellent!!! The staff are fantastic theyre friendly, helpful, not only they point you to the right direction but they also walked you to the right aisle even the cashiers are great. I dont have not a single complaint.
Always lovely staff, and well organized and clean.
From now on I limit myself to no more than one purchase a day in this store. This store has a policy to give kids a snack. So my two kids love going there whenever I go to pick something there. Today, I took my son to get some groceries in the morning. Obviously he got his snack. Then we walked by in the afternoon and decided to get some cherries. This time both of my kids where with me. As usual both went to get their snack. Unbelievably a shift manager or whomever the person was decided to give a snack to my daughter but refused to give one to my son who stood right next to his sister. When I asked her for a snack for my son she told me that there is a limit of one snack per day per kid. Apparently she saw my son get one earlier in the day.You must be kidding me. Whole Foods is trying to save a dime. A 2 years old kid already got sour taste from service in this Whole Food. I was dumbfounded. Needless to say I would be limiting my trips to the store going forward.
Woman behind sushi counter was rude.
Love every thing about this store
Its a great place with healthy options. I felt like I was a better person after shopping there. Even the magazines were classy instead of the usual tabloid trash at other food stores. Its a little small and the food does cosy a little more, but it easily makes up for that with quality.
My favorite grocery store in town. As long as you shop the produce, meat and dairy, I find t cheaper for the most part than Stop and Shop and the quality of the produce is head and shoulders above the other places in town. I appreciate that you can buy organic milk by the gallon. Whose idea was it to only sell that in half gallons? They also have a nice whole body and a separate cafe and gelato shop.
I will start with a warning that I got terribly sick after eating at the salad bar on Tuesday - March 22, 2016. I think it was from the salmon but could have been from the salad. With that being said, I absolutely love Whole Foods - the products they offer, the friendly staff and their company mission. I will skip the salad bar (and all others) from now on. I understand that with so many people have contact with the salad bar, things are bound to happen. Even though eating there had been a great experience up until a few days ago, the risk is not worth the reward.
Everyone is helpful and friendly. I like the more personable neighborhood store instead of the larger stores. The whole body for nutrients is fabulous. The store is easy to shop to do a quick run for what I need.
My favorite Whole Foods! The staff here is super friendly, the prepared foods is good, and while the store isnt as big as Paramus, I just find more enjoyment in shopping here. While the prices arent the lowest, theyre not as bad as theyre made out to be. Definitely a good experience
Excellent service by the staff, very clean and organized
Pick up was fast.
Ill start with the bad first:1. The prices... but everyone knows Whole Paycheck is expensive. Even their normal stuff which you can find in Kings sells for a premium here though.2. The parking. This place is always packed... no matter what. People seem to follow you out to your car at times making it incredibly frustrating. The good:They have great food! If they got their parking sorted out, and maybe were a bit more fair on items you can find at other supermarkets Id definitely come here more!
Excellent product and service!
Easy and convenient 👌. Friendly employees as well.
I shop here every once and while. Clean store and friendly staff make for a pleasant experience.
Whole Foods is great in general, nice store!
Great food. Prepared food is very good. The bakery is great, with the chocolate fondant cake being outstanding. Parking can be challenging during busy hours.
Great food, but I wouldnt be surprised if I was being overcharged. Just the other day my cashier asked me to verify the price of some peppers -- she should know that, and that isnt something you should ask the customer of all people. Employees definitely seem like they could use some more training.
Definitely not up to the standards of other whole foods locations. First time here. I am sure its convenient for people near here but they were out of everything I came for. Its tiny and some of the staff is less than pleasant
Too expensive and customer service isnt that great. Otherwise, for the smarter or more specific shopper this place can be a breath of fresh air. You just cant be in a rush and have to be willing to read the labels on everything!
Its good and it has many things that you have in need but not everything you need. very reasonably priced
As with Whole foods, superior quality to i.e Shop Rite or Trader Joes. Convenient parking and well maintained store. One star of for being small.
My favorite place to do groceries shopping! People is really nice, the place always organized and clean. Great selection of organic and healthy products. Love it!
Great shopping center 👍
Your standard whole foods. Not much to say. Has a parking lot. Staff is nice.Be prepared for a bit of a wait if you’re buying fish and need it cleaned.
Nice and clean
Great Mac and cheese!!! Awesome cheese selection... pretty much everything is good there.
Great place to go grocery shopping or to pick up a quick meal. Their buffet section always has great food readily available for you to take on the go.
I love whole foods. The employees are helpful, the priduce is outstanding, and the fish and meats are always fresh. Clean food, great help!
I used to love this Whole Foods, but Amazon ruined it. Food and ingredient quality has gone way down, and the store is full of obnoxious, inconsiderate Prime members. Their prepared foods are now full of artificial ingredients. If you can’t get organic or at least real food at WF, where can you?
Awesome coffees! Great variety, knowledgeable barista - what more could you ask for?
This review is specifically from the perspective of a vegan. I love this location for its service and the fact that its rarely crowded, but the vegan options have been unfortunately dwindling over the past few years. While overall veganism is a growing movement in the US, this location has stopped carrying several vegan products that had always been staples of mine. The baked goods in particular are lacking from previous years. Very unfortunate because I live so close to this location, I shop at Closter and Bergen Town Center most often now.
Amazing food selection. Fresh, organic, and super high quality. Wish theyd consider stocking basics like medicine and detergent.
Coming from BK we had high expectations for this WF. Unfortunately it fell short, didn’t have as many produce or brands and the people who worked there didn’t seem to know where things were. The prepared foods is very bland. We’ve had the brown rice to go several times and it was undercooked. I’ve had to call and complain to the manager that they need to take it off the shelf. We’ve also had their potatoes and it was still raw In the middle. Their rotisserie chicken is over cooked 90% of the time. Not sure if they’re doing any quality control but someone should.
Drove nearly a half hour out of the way to come here and did a whole grocery shopping only to find out their gift card system is apparently down . They did nothing about it and just told me Id have to come back another time and didnt acknowledge at all that I had a half hour drive each way . I called corporate and they were sorry for the inconvenience and appreciated my feedback. 🙄 Thatll really help get my gas money and time back .
Has all the items you would expect to find in a Whole Foods. Like that the Beauty supplies is in a separate area.Plenty of parking. The one minus is the aisles are very narrow. Almost impossible for 2 carts to pass each other.
Love Whole Foods! Expseically this location. I used shop then after work and its right on my way home. Healthy food that kids like too (which is important in my job!)
Not the biggest whole foods so it wont have everything the late ones have but they Ave everything that I need. No wine though which is a total bummer because whole foods has great cheap wine for events where you need a lot of wine. I like getting flowers here.
Great local Whole Foods. Same stuff as the other branches of this national chain, at the same high prices. I particularly like the Whole Body shop thats attached.
Food is fresh, customer service is excellent
Whole Foods is my place for real food.As a visitor to New York, I travelled some 18 miles to find this store only to find that the layout was not the same as the one in Pantation, Florida. I was truly disappointed. The salad bar was scanty and not much of a variety and the option of self-service was not there for the entree. I left after 5 minutes.
Your typical Whole Foods.
