Well for first impressions this place is absolutely amazing Frappuccino blew me and my wife away, I got two different ones and I’ll tell you there’s no Starbucks, in an amazing good way! it’s better than any coffee place you’ve ever been to. The food is pretty good too I highly recommend coming here if you can though try and get a spot to sit down and eat

I highly recommend this cute little family run restaurant! Delicious coffee, empanadas and breakfast! The service is friendly and fast. They don’t rush you like some other restaurants. It’s not a big place but extremely inviting and warm. If you want delicious Colombian food- don’t hesitate!

Such an amazing and comforting place. Starting with the interior, the cafe itself is absolutely beautiful. The vibes and just smelling the fresh coffee upon walking in create a warming welcome. The coffee tastes like no other, you can really notice the difference in the taste as they grind their own coffee! The syrup, the texture, the bold flavors and sweet to bitter ratio is perfect. It also reminds me of some of the best moments of my trip to New Jersey. Would definitely recommend. Miss it!!

We had heard so much about Rey Sol and were looking forward to a fabulous weekend brunch, however, our experience was lackluster on numerous accounts. It took forever for a server to come and take our order, followed by a hour long wait for our food to arrive. Second, not all the food arrived at the same time, and my husbands food arrived 20 minutes after I was served. The preparation of food was not consistent, and there was a burning smell and smoke coming out of the kitchen. The service was focused on specific customers, instead of valuing all their patrons. They also gave paper straws, which is great for the environment, but was inconsistent with the plastic fork and knife package that was tossed on our table. The ambience was great, but it did not compensate for the poor service.

Wow! The decor and ambience of this place is amazing! My iced latte was fantastic and I love how they use coffee ice cubes so your drink doesn’t get watered down - perfect for slow drinkers like me.Will definitely be back again in the future. Very happy to have a cafe like this so close to home.

I’ve been here twice before and it was delicious!! The first time I went I waited a half hour for my coffee. Second time, I waited 20 minutes. I went today to get the same coffee I always have gotten and it was extremely bitter. Same with my two friends coffee. I had to go home and add stuff to it. And we got two pastries that tasted stale and had very strange goop in them, and could not even eat them… 😞extremely disappointed…..will not be going back.

Amazing service. I had their salmo best and it tastes as good as it looks. My friend h as d the waffles and he loved them. Great service, great experience and freshly roasted coffee from Colombia. You cant ask for more. I will definitely come back!!!

That they are some of the most passionate and quality and clean focused peeps I have truly ever met…. The food, service, attention to the smallest detail…. Is AWESOME…. As much as people think I love people…. I really don’t… one thing…. This spot can get super duper dense with people…. One quick shout and remark…. QUALITY AND LOVE TAKES TIME!!! Pls be patient…. My regular go to is their regular coffee and an occasional morsel to eat…. (Their pan de bono is drop dead simply amaze balls)…. I have most likely spent more time at Rey Sol coffee than some little people are alive…. I go there almost religiously and truly adore everyone there…. I came here for the first time today and ordered an oat milk vanilla latte which was absolutely delicious! I also ordered an almond croissant and it was one of the best almond croissants I’ve tasted! The place itself is really cute and the staff seems very friendly as well. I will definitely be coming back again!

Satisfied on all accounts. This place is all about the details. You can tell they put thought into everything that goes into the restaurants. All plates and drinks were stunning and delicious. We had the Arepas Rellenas and the Alto Rey which were a threat. Will be coming back often!

Rey Sol Coffee is my new home I am completely in love. The atmosphere of the cafe is wonderful with the decorations and the coffee beans in the corner. The food is absolutely delicious and the coffee is one of the best lattes i’ve ever had. The staff is also very friendly and nice. I got the ricotta and berries toast which was amazing with delicious jam on top and the bread tasted freshly baked and an iced almond milk latte which both looked and tasted amazing.

For starters, the atmosphere here is so nice and the baristas are very sweet! I’m so happy that there are so many gluten-free options. The sweet wafflebono, salads, and toasts taste absolutely amazing.However, as a coffee enthusiast, I have to say that the coffee is just not good.The cold brew is UNDRINKABLE. I usually order black and cold brew should taste smooth even without added sugar or milk, but the cold brew here tastes sour - not to be confused with bitter (I love unsweetened/bitter). Rather, the cold brew has a sour aftertaste that almost makes me think it is stale. I have ordered cold brew 3x just to give it the benefit of the doubt, but all 3 times resulted in dumping $5 into the sink (even after adding oat milk/coconut milk to try to improve the taste). I once ordered an iced matcha latte and this, too, was undrinkable. It was extremely grainy, which means that they used way too much matcha to water in their ratio.I might give them another try down the line, but for now, as far as coffee is concerned, I’ll stick to my own coffees and other coffee shops in Ridgewood.

Love their colombian coffee, expresso, & cappuccino which goes well with their colombian pastries! Have to have my pan de bono (cheese bread) on the go! Nice compliment to all the Colombian cafe options in Hackensack.

I am shocked that we have this gem so close to home! The avocado toast with the poached egg is unreal and hands down the best I have ever had. The bakery puts out fresh bread everyday so even the egg and cheese sandwiches are over the top good. The decor and ambiance is very nice too. Congrats to the team there!

My friends found this café on Tiktok and invited us out for breakfast a few days ago. Today I brought my family for breakfast because I enjoyed it so much. Its a really pretty spot and all the food and drinks are hand crafted with love and care. Eating here is an experience and likely something youll want to have over and over again. The avocado toast is SOO good, as are the arepas, pan de bono, eggs Benedict and the French toast. Bring your phones/cameras and get ready to take pictures!

I ordered an iced drink and they even froze individual beans in the ice cubes. Talk about quality.Looking forward to supporting Rey Sol as my go to spot in the village.

Great place at so many levels. Sometimes people follow their dream and reality for some. Lot of hard work, sadly some have had that dream, they try and usually 90% go under taking their life long dream with them. When people see sign closed or out of business, unfortunately when I see posters etc I think about how much they wanted to make it work.

Everything is absolutely delicious here. It is my new go-to for coffee and breakfast items. Love their iced campesino- I order online for pickup almost everyday. Ricotta & berry toast is also my favorite choice for breakfast. Empanada de cambray is 10/10! Everything is so fresh at Rey Sol & they really care about their customers!

Rey Sol is a refreshing take on small town coffee shops. Its very inviting with their tropical industrial vide welcomed with friendly customer service. They show great passion for theyre products and a deep heritage of coffee roasting. The coffee is incredible and decently priced along with their great deserts. Their coffee is shipped from Columbia and roasted in house. Ill let them tell their story when you visit.

My new go to for colombian coffee! I loved the vibe and decorations. The staff is so friendly and knowledgeable about their coffee (which they sell to make at home!). The coffee and pastries were delicious!

It is so cute and the people are so nice. They made sure to check that I wanted it hot. They have unsweetened matcha and other great options as well. They’re allowed to have 3 people seated at any given time during COVID so you can go and relax with your cup with some sense of normalcy.

They tell you it’s an hour wait and then after an hour they add another 45 min. In the end we ended up waiting 2.5 hours and we still didn’t get a table so we decided to leave because the management just kept extending the time. If you value your time, don’t go here!

Super cute place with a trendy farm to cup approach. Popped in to grab some artisanal coffee. Ordered the iced campesino. DELICIOUS. Then saw they had just added torta negra to their menu. Tried a sample and had to buy 3 slices 🤤. Being a colombian myself, I know when Ive found quality coffee. Must try!

I had a really disappointing experience at Ray Sols today. The wait time was absolutely ridiculous for 2 dulce de leche lattes and my sister and I had to wait outside in the cold for half an hour. We were offered no explanation as to why it was taking to long and after 30 minutes I finally went inside to ask what the holdup was. I have no problem waiting for my coffee but when it takes 30 minutes for 2 very simple drinks and other people who had ordered before me are still waiting outside for theirs as well then I dont find that acceptable. The coffee itself is mediocre and for $10 I expect it to come out much faster. The service definitely ruined my experience here and if you plan to come here then expect to wait a while.

People had to repeat their orders to 3-5 different people and there were still mess ups!Everybody there just saw the place on tik tok and social media but we were all disappointed!People drove about 30-75 min just to visit this place, so disappointed!
