Suzanne was incredibly helpful. She understood my face shape and how to fit my glasses accordingly. Carrie on the other hand was cold and ridged. If it werent for Suzanne that would not have been a good experience.

Very professional and friendly place took their time. Did not rush through my exam. Will definitely be back.

I took my son for glasses over a month ago. I was told 10 days for them to be in. After 2 weeks I called and was told that they sent the lenses were sent without being cut for the frames that it would be a little longer. I waited another ten days and was told UPS lost the box. Waited again to be told that the frames were broken at the lab. Waited another week and still do not have the glasses. Something doesn’t make sense if the lenses were sent uncut for the frames and then now frames were broken at the lab. It doesn’t make sense how originally the lenses were sent uncut. I also don’t understand how this wasn’t made a priority if they were sent uncut and then lost by UPS. I feel the office is failing to worry about it and doesn’t care and is full of it about what is going on.

We have been seeing Dr Jozwiak since moving to Valpo four years ago. Our appointments are scheduled easily, everyone is so helpful! My daughter gets very anxious when seeing a doctor but she’s always right at ease with this office and always leaves happy!

Dr Jozwiak and her staff are professional and friendly. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for an optometrist in the area!

Before switching to Dr. Jozwiak I was never able to work on the computer with my contacts. I wear multi-focals and have a bad stigmatism. But she prescribed the perfect lenses. Its so nice to be able to wear contacts and work. She was very caring, made me feel comfortable, and answered all my questions. Most importantly I now have contacts and glasses that I can see both near and far with. Very happy with her and her entire staff!

I have been trying for a week to make an appointment with Dr. Jozwiak and no one there will answer the phone. I work next to her office so I know that her office is open, and yet, no one answers the phone. What a shame, I heard good things, but now, I am not so sure and I will take my business else where.

When we first moved to Valparaiso, I could not find an O. D. that met my families needs, my son has been seeing specialist since he was 3, my mother who no one wanted to deal with because of her Oxygen, my husband with whom, Could be unpleasant at times do to an Ischemic stroke. We found Dr. Jozwick, who truly has the patience of a saint and her family Susan and Sharon Who have been with her since the beginning. Truly the best in town. Thank you!

We took our boys to the eye doctor at the end of January, at which time they ordered glasses for both of them. Its now been about six weeks and our boys have still not received their glasses. We have tried to call the office to see what is going on and no one ever answers! We will not be going back!!

Love the doc. She is amazing. One of her staff members ran my contact prescription without asking, which really screwed me because I got 1/2 less contacts than I would have with a script at Sams. But I said something, and that has never happened again. (Think it was a new kid who just wanted to do everything right, so if you want a prescription, ask doc up front. She marks it in your chart, and youll never have the same problem). Heather cares about clients, and it shows. Shes smart, funny, and amazing. Sent four others her way. Great doctor.

I moved out here in 2006 and had to switch Optometrist my son who has seen an optometrist since he was the age of 2 is partially blind in one eye.My mother at the time was on oxygen and was very slowly. And then in 2011 my husband had a stroke, moved very slowly and sometimes got loud. As you can see my family is a very needy one. Dr. Jowziack’s father Dr Blackmen originally seen my family and I. They both have the patience of a saint. Truly truly found a good doctors here. And needless to say there Staff Sue and Sharon are priceless assets to the business....

When doctor Blackman left I was very concerned. I remember when Dr. B introduced me to Dr. J. I knew with out him telling me what was happing. Was pretty upset because, well, lets just say I grew a bond with DrB and the staff there and besides my RIGHT EYE is...... special ( you know who this is lol). I can honestly say this is the best place to be. So good, iv paid out of pocket a couple times to come here and thanks to c.v 19. I probably will yet again. Love you guys in the office. These ppl are like my family 👪. They care fantastic.

I had a great experience with Heather. In fact, it was the best experience Ive had with any doctor. Heather was extremely thorough and made sure to accommodate me in any way possible. I left with no questions and was pleased with their service. Hope to stay in the area so that I can continue seeing her.

Dr. Jozwiak, as well as all the entire staff, are so great with my boys! Ive never had an unpleasant experience in the years weve been going! Never long wait times either!

Dr. Jozwiak is the best eye doctor around. She takes her time with her patients and truly cares. I drive a distance to see her, and plan to continue. She is also great with kids and her office staff is wonderful as well. 5 stars all the way!

Ive worn eye glasses all of my adult life and have gone to many different optometrist over the years, (just not happy with any of them) then the move to Valparaiso 8 years ago and I was introduced to Dr Heather Jozwiak and her fantastic team. Needless to say I have ended my search for a great optometrist. I would highly recommend them! ******6 stars !

Great comprehensive service. Dr J was very down to earth, straight forward and seems to genuinely enjoy her profession. The staff is pleasant, courteous and more than helpful.

Truly the best service Ive ever had with any eye doctor! The staff here was extremely friendly and helpful with everything from super-fast appointment scheduling to the final fitting of my glasses. Dr. J was very pleasant and took the time to explain what was going on with my eyes while at the same time never trying to promote additional products or unnecessary services. The selection of quality glasses frames to choose from was very large, and the prices were extremely affordable. My glasses were quoted as being ready in about 10 days, and in reality took less than a week to receive. In short, my entire experience has been PERFECT, and I would VERY HIGHLY recommend Dr. Jozwiak without hesitation for your eye care needs. Im happy I did!

Horrible experience! The blonde that did the first series of tests was terribly bothered that she had to do some work, if your that unhappy quit! Totally disrespectful, then twice went to pick up glasses after being told they were in and guess what .... they weren’t! The doc was great but her staff is awful,

I had my eye appointment and that part went fine. I waited to order my glasses until I had the cash, because I did not have vision insurance. I ordered the glasses on Feb 10th, and paid for them in full. I was told that they would be 5-10 business days before they were in. At 8 days (2/22) I called to check on the order. They were not in and I was told that there was a manufacturers backorder on my prescription and they would not be in for another week. I called back the following Wednesday (3/1). I was then told they would not be in until the following Monday or Tuesday. I called back on Tuesday (3/7) I was told that they were not in and that she was sure that they would be in tomorrow. I told her that I ordered them on 2/10 and asked what they were going to do for me. She said that she would have to check with the doctor. At that time, I told her that I wanted my money back and my prescription. She said that she would have to check with my insurance and talk tomorrow. I told her that I paid cash and she said we would talk tomorrow. I told her that I would be in for my refund tomorrow. On Wednesday (3/8) I received a call from them saying that the glasses are done but they missed the UPS truck. Their office is closed tomorrow, so they would be in on Friday to which I could have a 20% refund. I told her that I would be in later and wanted a full refund. She said she would pass the info to the doctor. When I arrived at the doctors office, I was told that vthe only options were 20% refund and the glasses or the amount minus the lens cost. They would not give the lens cost too, because they were made. I chose the refund minus lens cost because I just wanted to be done with this. She left the room and came back with my prescription. She then proceeded to tell me that I could not get the refund until Friday because the doctor did not bring her checkbook and they are closed tomorrow. I took my prescription and walked outside before I yelled at her. I broke down in my car because of how upset I am about this. I will update this on Friday after I go back. The customer service here is terrible.Update: Friday 3/10 I arrived at the office and had to wait since the doctor was not in yet, but was told that she had the check. When she arrived, she glanced in my direction and kept walking. The secretary brought out my check and I checked the amount and left. The customer service when there is backorders needs to get much better.
