I came here to get my sons eyes checked for emergency testing. He started seeing dots and light flashes. When we came, I was told I would be denied services if I didnt wear a mask. Right when I came in the door, it wasnt, hello. We ask that you wear a mask, it was rudely, do you have a mask? Sick and disgusting people have lost their kindness, humanity and compassion, for a cloth on your face that doesnt prevent covid. I am reporting this incident to the office manager, and furthermore, reporting this incident to liberty counsel. Enough is enough of discrimination.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I called and waited on hold for 20 minutes only to have the phone answered by an extremely rude lady. She hung up on me!!! Terrible service .

Ridiculous, had an appointment for my daughter, took 45 minutes to be called back for a 5 minute test and then waited another 15 to see doctor then waited in exam room for another 10 for a 5 minute doctor visit. Over an 1.5 hour for a 5 minute prescription. Unacceptable...

Doctor exam was great, the optical department in Valparaiso was extremely rude and difficult to deal with. I just wanted to pick up my glasses that were a week late. They said I needed an appointment due to COVID and CDC law (whatever that means). I informed them those are guidelines, not laws. I offered to pay over the phone and have someone hand my glasses out the door to me. They refused to work with me. Very liberal policies, I will take my conservative money and do business elsewhere.

I made an appointment 2 months in advance, I get there & they tell me I have no appointment & its my fault because I didnt receive a text ! No apology, nothing, very rude staff . My daughter had appointment they let her sit in waiting room an hour before they remember she was there . Then week latter when they call that her glasses are ready they say oh by the way now you need an appointment to pick glasses up ! Why didnt they just make the appointment while she was trying them on, they know its going to be a week to get them in ! There so stupid . Im moving to new doctor .

Let me start off by saying Dr Ireland is great and did what he could to fix the issues with my glasses and the start of the problems was with the crown point office. The first exam I had was with a lady in Crown Point. I am assuming she was a nurse practitioner or something as she was not the doctor. According to her exam my eyes went from a -4 to a -6.5 and -6.75 I believe. A major change that should have thrown some red flags to the doctor(not sure of his name). I waited a couple of weeks thinking my eyes would adjust. They did not so I went into the Valpo office. Dr Ireland saw me this time and redid my exam. My eyes were actually -5 something for both eyes. Still a significant change but not as bad as said. Dr Ireland orders my new prescription. Great!!! Only these take a while to ship out and back. With a mistake like this and a change in the eyes this significant you would think they would do their part to speed up the order process. Maybe overnight the glasses?! Nope! Now I have waited an additional 2-3 weeks. Finally they get them in. Only found out when I called them. Did not receive a call quickly when they came in. Now I am ready to get them after after waiting over a month with the wrong prescription and not being able to see. They schedule me 2 days out and make no effort to get me in sooner even after all this. Yes covid procedures are in place but I have never in my life taken more than 5 minutes to try them on at pickup so even staying 5 minutes extra at the end of the day or squeezing me in somewhere. Heck bring them out to my car and I can tell you how they are! But nope no effort outside of their normal to fix their major mistake! If Dr Ireland is someplace else I would visit him again but I will never go back to this place again and advise anyone asking to not either!

Every single visit I have waited over an hour past my appointment time before even being called back to see the nurse. Then after seeing the nurse for a couple minutes, Im stuck in the back waiting room for another prolonged amount of time. No exam should require you to take the entire day off work. Poorly managed appointment schedule and always overbooking. Ridiculous.

I’ve always had great service here. The staff is great and doctors. The woman Laura who works in the Optical Shop is always very rude and this isn’t the first time. She needs to learn some customer service manners because being rude gets you nowhere and loses customers.

I came in recently as a new patient with a long established history of eye disease and recent corneal surgery performed somewhere else. They have been great! Dr. Tsagris has been so patient and kind. I have been able to get in fairly quickly on an emergency basis more than once. I have never had too long of a wait. Everyone has been kind and so helpful.

Everyone here shows they care and theyre always willing to go the extra mile to make sure that youre satisfied. My son gets his glasses here and theyre great with kids. They take the time to thoughtfully explain our vision benefits and make sure that we get the right frame and fit for us. The doctors are great. Very hospitable, friendly and knowledgeable. I couldnt recommend them more adamantly.

1. They over book and you the patient pay for it. Both your money and time like you have nothing better to do. 2. The nurse i dealt with today had an attitude as if she owned the place. Ill never return. Dont make me feel as if its a privilege to be at your clinic. I PAY YOU guys. Understand that. Go somewhere else people.

Office staff in Valparaiso is the worse ever. They lie to you, won’t take your insurance info, tell you you have to pay for the exam after they tell you on the phone they take your insurance. I heard the receptionist talking to the office manager saying she didn’t feel like dealing with my insurance issue. I drive over 35 miles to get there with insurance info in hand. Rude and liars. Don’t ever go there.

My son has been a patient of Dr. Anusha Vasamsetti for about 4 years now- ever since he was roughly 1.5 years old. She has a pleasantly calming demeanor which helps make this experience not as scary for little kids while also being very informative and promptly answering any questions parents have.

My appointment was for 2:30. I was not called back until 3:10. I went in back and had some examination by the tech not the doctor, that lasted maybe 3 min. Then I went into another waiting room and waited another 20 minutes. I then was seen by the Doctor for 15 minutes, he then numbed my eyes dilated them. Then I was sent back to the waiting room for 30 min. The doctor finally saw me for another 15 minutes gave me my prescription then sent me on my way. I went to the front and they said your free to go we will send you a card in another year. They never mentioned me picking out glasses or offered that service. I was ticked and calmly told them not to bother I will not be back I had been there 2 hours. The front desk said that was normal; I explained I have never had to wait like that and I will never again. A 33 minute exam at maximum yet I was there 2 hours, and not even offered to pick out new glasses. poor way to run a business completely inefficient.

Best exam I ever had and it was done by Dr. Ireland. Glasses he prescribed took some time to get in but well worth the wait as they were right on never thought my vision could be that clear as it is now. Many thanks to everyone working at Ltf

Took my son to Dr. Jack. The entire experience was horrible. During the eye exam my son struggled to read the letters. Dr . Jack would tell him what the letters were and said, close enough. He missed at least 10 letters during the exam. When his trial contac lenses came in, we went back for a re check. My son told him he couldnt see out of his left eye. The Dr said that was no big deal, he needed to get used to them. Again my son struggled to read the letters during the exam. Dr. Jack again told him the letters he missed and said no big deal. After the exam we went to try on his glasses. The lady helping us took the glasses to the back, came back to us saying she had over heated the glasses, the lenses were ruined, she had to re order. The next day I took him to another eye Dr, and was shocked to find out that Dr. Jack had prescribed lenses that were not what he needed. He was WAY off!! Including the measurements of his eyes! Im beyond frustrated and thankful I decided to use another Dr. I will NEVER go back, and urge anyone thinking about seeing him to reconsider. My son is only 15, I cant imagine the damage that could have been done to his eyes had I trusted him.

NOT KID FRIENDLY!!! We were referred here because this is the only pediatric ophthalmologist around .My 6 month old daughter had an appointment at 10:20 . I had to bring my 3 year old. We waited in the lobby for 40 minutes . By that time they called us back my 3 year old already had enough .The technician called us back. She took us to a room. She insisted that we sit in the car next to the computer. So I take my daughter out of her car seat and go sit over there. Meanwhile my 3 year old wouldnt stop messing with the light switch. The room was dim and he keep turning it up. So i had to get up a million times to stop him all while the technician has a nasty look. I get him settled down ..the freaking technician asked me two questions ..that was it. She didnt need the lights dim and i surely could have just asked me the questions with out us sitting in the chair right next computer. Then we had to go sit in another waiting room for another 20 minutes then was sent to the actual exam room. Set in the exam room for 30 more mminutes. All while my three year old is getting impatient and wanting to get into everything. We saw the doctor for a whole 15 minutes total. This was the worse experience i have ever had at a eye doctor .Absolutely no reason for a 2 hour long appointment to be seen for 15 minutes. Unless you have to go here I would look for another place.

This review is for the Eye Glass Clinic area; namely Pat; I purchased two pair of glasses from her; she is so very professional; knowledgeable in her field and extremely kind and friendly; I felt so very comfortable with her; so very helpful as well; I think they should treat her to lunch because if more people had a skill and professionalism; the world would be a better place. It’s sad this is the state of healthcare. The doctors are good but the nurse/admin staff deflates any feelings of bliss. The admin’s are unfriendly, unintelligent and could care less. The doctors should fire all of them and start over. Waited over 30 min in the first lobby, just to be seen by a “nurse” who rushed through the process and forgot to dilate my eyes, only to be pushed through to the second lobby to wait for another 30 min and finally to the exam room to wait again. Appointment was at 2pm but didn’t see the doctor until 340pm. They also have someone on staff who has a terrible body odor which should not be allowed in a healthcare environment (my nose just can’t take it). Thank goodness I found another eye clinic who actually treats patients better.

I called LTF eye clinic to specifically schedule with a pediatric ophthalmologist for my terrified 5 year old son. I was scheduled with Dr. Tsagris, a general optometrist. As it is not her fault, I was requesting someone with more patience with a scared 5 year old boy. Even though this provider could not fully do the exam, she proceeded and then billed out for a comprehensive exam.(so it is really a comprehensive exam?) I was billed $175 for this exam then $150 for an exam with Dr. Vasamsetti, their pediatric Ophthalmologist. So for one comprehensive exam it cost me $325! Not to mention the money I am out from missing work two times because someone didnt schedule me with the correct provider the first time AND money paid to a babysitter for my younger son. Who by the way, was going to be a patient and DEFINITELY will not be! You office manager declined to take off or reduce charges for an exam that was not comprehensive-shady business practices and sloppy scheduling.

I went to ITF for a floater in my eye, 2 days after getting an exam at Wall mart. They gave me another eye exam for what reason I dont know, and changed my prescription with a floater in my left eye. I got my new glasses and I cant see out of my left eye. Its worse than before and now I have paid 3 deductibles for 3 visits and they have done the same thing 3 times and nothing has changed. Find a better place to go for your glasses eye check-ups.

Unfortunately I choose to have LASIK done here and my life has never been the same. I noticed right away that something had gone terribly wrong. 6 years later I have had to have a cornea transplant surgery (by another Doctor) ... And Im still recovering. Be smarter than I was!

Over an hour and a half wait for an eye exam!! I even showed up early like they want you to so I could fill out their new patient forms!!! Never again will I be coming here!! They get paid hourly, which makes sense to them to keep you longer. Horrible experience.

5 hrs from the time we get there until we leave for eye check up. The wait alone makes you want to shoot your brain outUpdate: horribly rude office staffs. If I didnt have to take my father there I would never ever set foot in that place again. Hopefully my dad will change his mind on a new doctor somewhere else

Horrible. Ive never waited so long for an eye examine plus contact fitting. 2 hours plus. And thats not waiting out in the waiting area. You are shuffled around room to room just waiting as the doctors go between patients. Ill never come here again.

Inconsiderate about others time they waste I think that my time is just as valuable as the doctors and staffs time when I walk in I should be treated as so not be shuffled around into a room and have to wait an hour and a half
