Yesterday My wife and I came in for a simple 20 minute procedure that turned into an hour long debate with the manager or lead salesman whoever he was that guy was too snappy and made me want to switch companies. I will give 3 stars because the staff seemed to really want to help. Also no one was wearing a mask. Not okay.
Today was a mess. Absolutely the worst AT&T I’ve been to in NJ. Even employees hate it. I’ve been in 3 times for the same issue. Good reviews are fake. Written by employees. They joked about it right in front of us. Once Manager called himself a god for overselling on poor elderly woman I left immediately but being as though this is in my town I had no choice but to go back. Big mistake. They don’t have any accessories or iPhones everything just has to be ordered. No one knows where anything is. And the only people with welcoming spirits and good costumer service are new and learning. Bring JR back.
I came in on a Friday. Manager was unprofessional and didn’t care about me as a costumer. He barked and cursed at an employee like he was a slave and told me I’m “not that smart”. I have been with att for 8+ years and have never dealt with a worse salesman. I came in again today and an employee told me he doesn’t believe in vaccines. He didn’t have his mask on properly and kept sneezing. Felt very unsafe.

I came in on a Saturday morning because I needed a new phone. The manager, Gage, was extremely helpful, friendly and efficient. He made sure I was out of the store with everything I needed in the least amount of time possible
Overall I had a great experience here so I’m thankful for that. However, I did end up unknowingly spending $65 on accessories although it was really unnecessary (and could have cost me less than $5 on Amazon). So I guess that’s my bad for not asking more questions - so just a heads up to others to not make the same mistake I made.
Worst customer service ever. No one moves. The main guy who works clearly hates his job and ensures the customers are paying for it.
After having a horrible customer service experience at the AT&T store in Watchung last Sunday and being told that there was nothing else that could be done to resolve my problem of not being able to transfer data from my old phone to my new phone, I decided to visit the store in Westfield to see if I might have better luck there. Thankfully, I was helped by a knowledgeable young woman named Breeyanah who was able to solve the problem in about 5 minutes. Thanks Breeyanah for your help; it was much appreciated!

Melissa helped me transfer my Verizon phone number onto my new AT&T line and she was incredibly helpful and patient! Verizon was giving us a difficult time with the transfer but we worked it out and she answered all of my husband’s questions

Awful customer service.. they move like molasses and tell you something will take 20 mins instead of actual time of over an hr! I will travel anywhere out of my way than to go back to this store! STAY AWAY

Chris was exceptional. He was very thoughtful in helping me with the purchase of my new phone. Previously, I purchased my phone online and it wasn’t showing up in the platform. He tried his best to work with me and even went out of his way to make sure I was happy with my new purchase. Thank you so much, Chris!!!!
The store manager is awesome and was so helpful with setting up our account, addressing billing questions and concerns, and rectifying an equipment matter. She literally spent hours making sure all of our matters were resolved to our satisfaction. Thank you for the excellent customer service!
Worst Customer Experience Ever! Tried to Avail Trade In Promotion on Iphone XS by trading in with Iphone 7 for $10/month. after 7 months of chasing was given an excuse I was not on unlimited plan and did not qualify, so gave my iphone 7 to them for free and paying for the stores mistake. Had to chase them on phone for months and was asked to come to store only to hear we will review and call you(and I was trying to avoid physical store visit due to COVID and expressed the concern and was told it cannot be done over phone or online. After switching to T-Mobil the same issue happened, I was asked to come to store to return the device and would have to pay balance based on current phone value. Again same problem, I asked to do a payout and was told I would receive final statement. I dont know if there is any Consumer Protection Agency which can help, this is utter violation and abuse of consumer trust and rights.

Customer service is SO important! I wish I could give you 5 stars, you truly exceeded my expectations when I was passing through town and my phone wasn’t working! I had no way of getting home or even around town, thank you so much!!
So we had a problem with our account after trying to sign up for the First Net services and we were on the phone numerous times with AT&T. If it weren’t for this store, our issue never would have been resolved. The problem was indeed AT& T’s fault and of course we got the run-around every time we called customer service, so we are incredibly grateful for the wonderful help we received from the staff at this store. It took several trips and phone calls to resolve our problem, but Samantha B and Tyra H and the other staff members worked so hard to resolve it. I have dealt with companies like this before and many employees don’t want to be bothered helping if the problem can’t be fixed easily or takes a lot of follow-up. Samantha continued working to solve our problem outside of her normal work hours and EVEN AFTER she had been moved to another location. She was so amazing and kept in touch with us personally for months until the issue was finally taken care of. If more companies had people as dedicated as she is, the world would be a much better place! She did what was right even though it was a lot of extra trouble, and we cannot thank her enough. All of the staff at this store was attentive and concerned. We were never blown off or ignored and it is just so unusual to receive such excellent service (in our experience) from so many people. I hope Sam’s higher-ups recognize her integrity and reward her for it. We highly recommend the service at this store and whichever location Sam and Tyra might be working at now!
I needed to add a phone line with anotherphone and bundle with a plan that would fit my needs and it was taken care of immediately. Everyone there was very helpful and knowledgeable. It was a pleasure doing business with them.
My wife went to get a new iPhone, upgraded from her old 5S, which was successfully completed. The agent (Sophia) was patient and helpful in getting all the old files (contacts, apps, photos) transferred to the new phone, and wiping the old one so we can sell it privately for more than its trade in value. No pressure to buy insurance or other up-sells.
Love you guys!! Miguel and the new management team took care of me! Definitely turned the place around from a year ago! Samantha and Jose were so kind!

I tried to go here a few times over the years I dont know what it is, either I never explain myself correctly or the people working here are unable to understand me. I cannot figure out which one it is so I dont go back. Funny because at other AT&T stores I never have a problem, so I just dont get it.
Just went in with my family, talked to a sales rep and after we had to pay an overdue bill (for which there was already a check in the mail), listened to the rep talk about promotions which we weren’t interested in it qualified for, and after that the very last thing he did was check the stock for the phone that I wanted.It wasn’t in stock, I came through the door, gave every rep I told to the name, size, and model of the phone that I wanted. After we double paid our bill to try and get this new phone the very last thing they did was actually check that it was there. What!?!?!? Sure, I should’ve been more persistent to ask about the stock, sure, but you’d think a rep selling a finite amount of phones would have an idea when something wasn’t in stock. Asking that rep to call another ATT was weird, he suggested we go to the Apple store and pick one up “it’s what my coworkers did” he said.Not going back, and definitely making sure they know what’s in stock before handing over a dime next time.

I received great customer service from Peter. He knows what to do for my case, and did it well without fuss or bother. One issue with AT&T that always make me eyes-rolled is that the local stores are forever feuding with the national call center, and both sides are always blaming each other for any customer issue. I understand this is because each store is independently owned .... but that is hardly the customers problem. If the stores and the national call center cannot even work together without contradicting and pushing blame to each other, can either one survive? Occasional staff like Peter know to work around those conflicts so that customers are not affected, so I am leaving this review as a thank-you and appreciation to him.
Told me they couldnt transfer data from older phone. Best Buy did it in 5 minutes and didnt even charge me. Wait was astronomical. Attitudes were poor too.

The worst att store I have ever entered. I was fraudulently lied to about free phones and when my bill was received the charges were on the bill. Customer service at my request contacted the store to address the situation. Samantha Baker the store manager is deceitful and has no customer service ability. She doesnt want to be bothered with anything. I was told I was getting a credit and call from district manager but kept getting the run around. I Called customer service to find out the truth of my bill and receive credits (given immediately) that were promised. If lying and deceit for a commission is for you than enter the store. Dont get an S9 and expect to receive a promotion for a free phone with new activation on a line of service. Calling customer service might not be the most helpful at times but atleast there honest about promotions / credits because there not getting a kick back for selling you something....Suggestion Stay away!
What a terrible experice this was. The employee were extremely unprofessional and unwelcoming. I was there because i needed to pick up a new phone from an order i placed online .At first they didnt want to help me transfering my existing phone number then the sales person went to the back and the manager told sales person to just place a different order and run my credit again !!! I told the sales person i didn t feel confortable doing it again but he trid to do it anyway behind my back. I notices this because he came back trying to get another photo of my ID. Please be aware of store manager and employee they do anything just to get a sale.

Chris and Elaine were the most helpful of any time Ive been there. I left with a wireless charger and a smart watch and a great deal on phone accessories for my mother, as well as their time and patience while I had issues to sort out.

I told them I didnt want insurance for my devices and they put it on anyway. They also set my new account up as a business account even though it was obviously personal. I believe they did these things to get a bigger commission. I had to call customer service to straight out what they did. I dont trust the sales staff in this location.

Always enjoyed coming to this location. Called today to make sure that the store is open, with construction in the parking lot next to the store, before making a trip to the store. Got an extremely rude response from a very unfriendly woman who answered the phone - will not be making the trip to this location!
Incredible how trashy and unprofessional this store is. Save yourself the time avoid overweight sales person... and their Ghetto Female Manager with zero sense for customer service....kept me on hold for 20 minutes while I watched her outside the window sit around and do nothing but goof off with the employees.... then finally answers the phone to ask what I want again after 20 minutes when all she needed to is go in the back room and check for inventory... when I asked her why so careless gave my an attitude and said I’m was busy!!! plus the store smells like raw cheese and dirt everywhere... Verizon was my next stop where I purchased my next phone!!!
This AT&T store is the worse. DO NOT GO TO JAY R especially. This store is incompetent. Almost stayed there for 2 hours and They properly didn’t cancel an order which is now showing TWO ACCOUNT under AT&T because they were too busy going to the back to see if there was a situation going on with the account. The account that was cancelled is showing a bill but no phones activated. If you have to go to any AT&T go to Chatham or anywherelse.

Went to get a nano sim. The guy doing assisting customers told me a few minutes. But after the customer, there was one more waiting. After 20 minutes a lady came by and added me to the waiting list. Then she went and helped some other customer before me. Finally after 40 minutes of waiting we were helped out. Our assistance took less than 5 minutes. No wonder kiosks are taking over. Surely I would have preferred a kiosk for this interaction.
The staff is not professional.I got two IPhone on a bogo promotion .I received both phones and activated them the same day .They put two different date in the system and AT&T charge me every month for both.They said that the phones were activated in two different date so I was not qualified for the promotion.They said that they opened a case but never solve the problem.They are very wicked
