Capital Vision is great! I had gone there years ago & then had to switch because of my location. Now that Im working back in Concord I was able to go back. They have enlarged their office & its beautiful. The staff is friendly & Dr Baylus explains everything so well. I would recommend to anyone needing a great place for vision care!!

After 58 years of dealing with various eye care centers this is the best by far! Relaxed, efficient, no waiting an hour after your scheduled time to get in, great optometrist who makes you feel like a peer (even though I have a Doctorate and he doesnt know it) and overall friendliness, care, informative and precisely letting you know what was, and is, going to be done. Will be going back until I no longer need any eye services!

I have been a customer at Capital Vision Center for almost a decade, and continue to remain impressed by ALL of the staff. This year I have will continue to battle cancer, and they were great about being flexible with schedule. They were professional yet fun, and explained everything before it was going to happen. When it came time to select my new glasses, Stacey was amazing! Once I shared a few goals for my new glasses she selected a few for me to try on and was honest yet kind and funny sharing thoughts. I had a chance to browse and try on anything I liked, yet ultimately I cam back to the glasses we originally selected together. Thank you Capitol Vision Center Team! :)

The office is Covid observant to safety. The staff that I have been seen by are all so very kind, listen & explain any process taking place. The Dr is extremely kind, asks questions of any concerns I have and explains every process as to why and how. Shows me the diagrams of the photos the staff has previously taken and explains what they represent. Their service is highly recommended.

The staff and optometrists are extremely professional and attentive. I did not wait and was seen, tested, and saw the optical department in less than an hour going from one area to another. My new prescription will be ready in ten business days or less, so you cannot beat that and they take many insurance plans.

Dr Weber was very professional and took his time to explain everything to me. Let me start by saying that I hate shopping for glasses. I have a petite but round face and Im very pale. So, most colors, shapes and sizes dont go well with my face. It has been four years since my last exam and glasses shopping experience and it wasnt a good experience the last time at another place.This was my first, but not my last time going to Capital Vision Center. The BEST customer service experience I have EVER had (and I work in customer service so I can be pretty judgemental.) Janel, Stacy and Megan were all amazing individuals.Janel was kind and welcoming from beginning to end. Stacy knows what shes talking about! She gave me her professional and personal opinions. She was honest with me and spent a lot of time helping me find the right glasses for my weird face. Megan has so much personality and an amazing laugh!The exam was easy and informative. He spent a lot of time walking me through what he was looking at in my boring, healthy eyes. He made me feel comfortable and made me laugh.The whole team was really amazing. The kind of people you want to immediately make your friends. I left feeling good about my entire experience. At one point we were all sharing our dog pics. These are the kind of people you want to go to, especially if you have a weird face. 😉 I have never been treated better.And for those of you worried about Covid, they all wear masks. All glasses that are touched or tried on are sanitized before going back out. Great selection of frames. They spray the chairs youve been in, wipe down the equipment, etc.

In July, I went to Capital Vision Center for my annual eye exam. I met with Dr. Baylus and had the staff conduct the typical screenings. Much to my surprise, they identified a serious eye condition and referred me to a specialist. Without this diagnosis, my eyes could have been permanently damaged. After being treated, I returned to CVC to have my eyes re-checked and pick out prescription glasses. I was fortunate to be greeted by one of the opticians, Stacy. She has such a great personality and an easy-going demeanor, she made me feel at home. Choosing frames is not an easy task for me. I am always looking for feedback from the opticians and Stacy was candid and direct. I LOVED THAT! Eyeglasses are an investment (Hint: be prepared for that) and you want to get them right. The decision is always your own; however, when you are vacillating over frames, it is helpful to get another opinion.I am very grateful for their diagnosis and Im quite satisfied with the professionalism of the entire staff!

Dr. Tyler Webber is just as phenomenal as his father. The Manager, Erica, in the show room has more than a knack for finding glasses to fit your face perfectly. Even with a mask covering on, she nailed the frames she picked out for me. First ones I tried on to. Took less than 5 min to find frames!

I recently had my first appointment at Capital Vision Center with Dr. Tyler Weber. Everyone I interacted with was extremely friendly, and Dr. Weber was very knowledgeable; I had many questions about my ocular health and my potential benefits from lasik eye correction surgery. I will definitely be coming back!

Very disappointed with service. At first they were very helpful but failed to explain the type of glasses they were putting me into and since I had never had this type before I did not know what to expect. If they had properly counseled me I would never have ordered the lenses they recommended. There were so many issues with the glasses that they would not work for me at all. Come to find out they were the most expensive type and not much was covered by my insurance. When I picked them up I expressed an issue right away and they said try it out for a few weeks and if there were still issues to bring them back. I did but come to find out they could alter them to a reader only but I would not get back any money from my original purchase. When I indicated that I did not want them at all then they indicated that I would only get a 50% refund as a restocking fee which meant I either paid over $550 for readers or $275 for nothing. Poor service and I will never use this company again.

Today, I arrived early to my first appointment as a new patient of Dr. Webber’s. I was greeted with the regular Covid measures, a temperature reading of the forehead and forced to sanitize my hands by Janelle. She then asked if I filled out the new patient paperwork and I let her know the woman who confirmed my appointment told me to come early tofill it out. She then asked if I had my medicalInsurance card. I was confused and asked her if she meant my vision insurance, and I had given that information to the woman on the phone who confirmed my appointment. I explained she took my social security number and my date of birth to pull myvision insurance information over the phone for the appointment. Janelle said no that she needed my medical insurance card. I asked her why she would need that information if they already have my vision insurance. She said it was “required” I proceeded with giving over my medical card. Then after I filled out my new patient paperwork, Janelle took me into a room with a big fancy machine that I have only ever seen at a macular and retina specialist office. This big fancy machine takes pictures of the back of your eyes. Janelle explained that this is why she needed my medical insurance card because vision insurance doesn’t cover these expensive pictures only medical insurance does and therefore I would be paying an out of pocket cost for these pictures. I said well I don’t want to do that. I just want a regular yearly eye appointment for contacts and glasses. I explained to her that I am upset, that I was never told this over the phone, and that I was getting ready to leave because I was so stressed out about it. She said she will go ask Dr. Webber if I “had” to use the machine. She came back and said that I cannot be forced to do it however, if I didn’t pay the out of pocket cost and use my medical insurance for the pictures that I would have to get my eyes dialed. I was really annoyed at this point, and I told her that’s not happening that I drove myself there and I was leaving. I grabbed my jacket and left. I have been wearing glasses and getting my eyes checked since I was 6 years old. I’m 32 years old now and I have never had this terrible of an experience at an optometrist office. I’ve actually have never walked out of any service office in my entire life, but I guess there’s a first for everything. I will not be going back to this office it’s clear they are looking to run your insurance to make as much as they can from their patients. They bought a big fancy machine and since vision insurance will not cover this they will be sure to get it from your medical insurance and make you pay out of pocket for something that’s not even necessary for a yearly exam. This was all before ever even meeting or seeing Dr. Webber. No one has called to apologize or ask what had happened or why I had left. It seems a little suspicious to me. I wouldn’t give them your business.

I needed an eye appointment and got right in and the staff are super nice. The optometrists on staff are very knowledgeable and communicate well. I had to do several fittings to find the right contacts (first time for me!) but they were patient and took the time needed (over a couple visits) to get something that worked for me. I am pleased to use their services and recommend you give them a try!

A few minutes later Erica called me back and told me she had reached out to the rep and they were going to drop them off at the office for me!!!! Many many kudos to Erica for going above and beyond!
