Dr.Chen is super professional and patient. Stephanie and all the technicians there are very friendly and helpful. It is not easy for me to find a good frame that fits well, but Stephanie was able to provide several great options and adjust the frame to fit perfectly.

My children and I have been going to see Dr. Chen for years now. She is so personal and my children enjoy speaking with her and giving her updates on what they have been doing. She is extremely knowledgeable and explains things in a way that even my children can understand. She and her staff are absolutely amazing and are always helpful and have a great attitude. Great experience! This office is not your average optometrist office. Service was fast, but thorough and everyone was very accommodating. Everyone was in the correct ppe, helpful, and made my visit extra comfortable. Dr. Rosalyn Ahua is amazing and top notch in the profession!

I definitely hesitated to go to this office for my eye exam. But my insurance covered just about everything so I decided to try it. It was a wonderful experience from the moment I arrived until I left. My eye doctor was Top Notch and the staff who helped me pick out my glasses were actually fun to work with. They had a wide range of frames to choose from and their prices were very reasonable.

Everyone is very friendly and accommodating. They have excellent options of eyewear. Dr. Rosalyn was very thorough and explained many aspects about my eyes and care for them.

I love Dr Ahua she was my physician at my eye doctor and I followed her here. Pat is the best at the front desk she got me in at a last minute appt and she help find some glasses I really like! If I could give them 10 stars I would Great customer service all around!!!!

Very professional from start to finish! Dr. Chen gave a thorough visual examination and gave recommendations for possible eye impairments (glaucoma/cataracts). My job involves working on computer 8-12 hours per day. Dr Chen suggested eyeglasses specifically for computer reading and writing; best advice ever given! The computer glasses made my work life easier!! Very personable and friendly staff. Great selection of eyewear. Highly recommend!

This is one Drs appt I never mind going to. Always a great visit. The staff is always friendly and helpful and patient, as it takes me forever to choose frames. The office is spotless and they took great care in sanitizing everything. The patients were kept at a minimum and socially distanced. I want so much to not give a bad review. I came for an eye exam and contact lens fitting. The exam add doctor was perfect. However the fitting did not go well. I left with a contact lens folded up in the corner of my eye. A day and half later and pain in my eye we found it !UPDATE TO REVIEWThe office manager Pat called me and really took the time to evaluate what happened and worked through how to improve the process.

This was my first visit and I was pleasantly surprised. From the initial scheduling through the thorough exam, everyone I interacted with was professional and cordial.

My daughter had an abrasion on her eye and I called to see if we could get her in for an emergency appointment sometime that day and they told me I could bring her in immediately for care. From the lady who scheduled the appointment to the receptionist and the doctor, everyone was extremely friendly and their office has just gained a new family as patients. I loved how caring, personable, and genuine they were. We weren’t rushed at all. Great place to go and I’ll be scheduling our routine visits there for now on.

BEWARE. So disappointed. They put revenue in front of their patients. I had my initial consultation, purchased a pair of glassed (no issues) and asked for contact lenses for sporting activities. They charged me for sizing and samples. Received the samples and they did not work due to stigmatisms in each eye. They told me that sometimes they do and sometimes they (contact lenses) dont work with this. I took it on the chin and the wallet... BUT here where the BEWARE comes from. I asked for sports glasses, similar to Oakleys. Shaded and contoured. They had NO problem ordering these and taking my dollars for them. They EVEN had the nerve after I left to office to call and authorize another $100 for the contoured lenses. Glasses came in and they did not work, they gave me prism vision. The person fitting me for them said that these should have never been prescribed as they wont work with my stigmatisms. The took the glassed to the back room and flattened them (taking the contour out). They worked. They ordered me new flat glasses and refused to give me the $100 premium they charged me the glasses that should have never been prescribed. I gave them 3 opportunities to correct the issue and they did nothing. FIND SOMEWHERE ELSE TO GO!!!

The doc was very nice and inviting and very honest! And finally, during this pandemic, they were super cautious and very sanitary which made me feel safe during my visit. I have been very hesitant to visit Dr’s offices during the era of Covid unless it is absolutely necessary. I had put off my eye appointment because I was nervous to be in an enclosed space and having someone closer than the six feet distancing requirement. I have to tell you that my experience was amazing. The procedures in place at Vision Loft made me feel safe to be there because they were very thorough in their Covid safety precautions. I have been a customer for 13 years and each experience including this one has been a positive one.

Words can’t express the pleasure I had doing an eye exam and picking out new frames. The Doctor explained everything to me while going thru my exam. I recently took my seven-year-old in for his first eye appointment just to get a baseline to make sure his eyes are OK since I have poor vision.Everything went well and I especially loved Dr. Pratt! She is very good with children and she put my son at ease right away. She was enthusiastic about explaining everything to him very clearly and also showed him pictures of his eyes which he thought were really cool :-)The only tiny complaint I have is that the soaps that they use for you to wash your hands are Bath and Body Works. Those soaps are full of synthetic chemical irritants in the form of fragrances. I bring my own pump hand soap in my purse so it wasn’t a big deal for us. However, if you were to stick your fingers in your eyes to apply contacts after washing your hands with those soaps it may be irritating for some.

Love Vision Loft and all the people, i have visited since they opened the Concord location. Great service and in stock items to choose from, and prices are more reasonable than most places

The Doctor was great!!

I had an eye emergency over this weekend and called the office. Unfortunately the doctors were out of town and could not see me but the coordinator there, Pat called me immediately and made several phone calls to find me immediate care. I cant thank her enough for her help this weekend. It isnt often that you call an office and find someone willing to spend hours during their weekend to help a stranger but she truly took such care and I am very thankful. I will stay with this office for sure knowing the lengths they go to to take care of their patients

Dr. Emily Pratt is a wonderfully caring doctor who gave me her full attention and the time for me to ask questions and state my concerns.

Excellent experience in covid times. They will not let you in without mask. They clean all items and have signs indicating what has been cleaned that are moved only when serving next customer. Dr. Chen was very professional and did the most thorough exam I remember in years. Their optical shop has a very large and stylish selection. If your vision insurance covers this place cant imagine a better experience and think they have excellent standards for staying safe in context of covid.

The Vision Loft in Concord is a great place for eye exams and glasses/contacts. The doctors here are very knowledgeable and they keep up with their patients medical background to help with any potential vision issues. Cant recommend enough.

I recently stopped by to have my frames replaced. They had fallen apart on me some months ago, and in order to salvage them so that I would be able to do my job, I super glued them (I know I know...not the smartest idea). I was lucky that they managed to stay functional up until this week...they started to fall apart on me again and at that point I knew I couldn’t put off getting new frames any longer. When I walked in I was greeted by Tina, who works at the front desk. Lindsay then came over to look at my super glue job, which she was impressed by lol! She informed me however that my frames would no longer be under warranty due to me tampering with them. Which was totally understandable. She said, “let me see what I can do”. As I stood there waiting, Tina continued to talk to me, and she offered some great advice on lenses I had asked her about. I was also able to book my next appointment with her, and she went the extra mile by putting notes in my appointment about the lenses I wanted. Lindsay soon came back with the exact frames I had before, except in a different color! I was so excited, and they were only $60! Lindsay really worked her magic! My experience with Vision Loft is always so pleasant, and this time was no exception! Tina and Lindsay made it so easy for me to get what I needed. They were so helpful and so friendly, I truly felt like I was getting the 5-star treatment! I’m actually looking forward to my next visit in April!

I am changing my review from 5 stars to 2. Pat Huffman, Manager, still gets 5 stars but I now give 2 stars based on my experience with Dr. Bonnie Chen. I was prescribed the new, really thin contact lenses and had a lot of problems taking them in and out. I saw Dr. Chen on August 1 after three weeks of an extremely irritated eye, which I thought was a stye. She looked at my eye from a distance and just said I had an inflamed tear duct, not a stye. She did not actually LOOK at my eye or under the lids to try to see if there was anything that might have been the cause. I had been wearing my glasses, and on August 13, it seemed the inflammation had gone down enough for me to start wearing contacts again, and I did. However, although my eye was better, it was still inflamed and irritated. It was sometimes red, felt scratched or cut, and it always felt like I had something in my eye. I tried often to flush my eye by pouring eye drops into it, which was sometimes painful because it felt like my eye was cut. Ive been sometimes wearing contacts and sometimes just wearing my glasses.When I got home this past Friday night, I took my contacts out as soon as I got home because my eye had been really hurting all week, and I couldnt get this something in eye feeling out of my mind. I literally had been thinking maybe the tissue of my eye was coming off. On Saturday morning when I got up, I went right to my bathroom mirror, opened my eye as wide as I could, lifted my top lid, pulled down my bottom lid and looked IN my eye! I saw a liquid-like bump and touched it to see what it was…it was A HALF CONTACT LENS WITH A JAGGED EDGE STUCK IN MY EYE!!! Dr. Chen couldnt have done anything about the first 3 weeks, but she couldve saved me the pain and irritation for the past 5 weeks had she actually EXAMINED MY EYE!! My eye started hurting July 7/8, which was when I was using the disposable, throwaway contact lenses. Obviously, when I took one out to throw it away, I didnt know I had left half of it in my eye. A simple examination by Dr. Chen would have ascertained that VERY IMPORTANT information!As soon as I took out the torn contact lens, my eye felt normal again! Hopefully, there is no other damage besides the two months of irritation and pain I experienced. I dont know if Dr. Chen just saw no reason to do an in-depth examination for me or if that is her normal practice. If people are having medical issues with their eyes, she needs to do thorough exams or just refer people to someone else who will! Pat is great, but I will not return.I am someone who likes people to go above and beyond and who look out for the best interests of their customers/clients even if it is of not benefit to them. I found both of those at the Vision Loft. My optometrist was Dr. .Juan Canizales,. He did a great job, and I really appreciated that he pressed me about not sleeping in my contacts and really stressed that I needed to stop doing that for the health of my eyes. Other doctors have told me that, but he made it clear that it was in my best interest to stop--and I have.I also want to commend and thank Office Manager Pat Huffman. Pat spent time going over with me my contact lens options and which are best for not just comfort and likability but for the health of my eyes. Today she did the above and beyond and looked out for my best interest--whether or not I purchase glasses from them. I purchased the daily (disposable) contacts from the Vision Loft, but I asked Pat to send me the eyeglass prescription today so I could shop around for the best price. Pat sent me the prescription and said that my insurance benefit had not yet been applied. She then shared that I would fare much better financially if I used my insurance for my glasses (I have to get the thinner lenses, which are very expensive). She actually broke down the costs of everything in her e-mail--THAT IS ABOVE AND BEYOND AND LOOKING OUT FOR THE CUSTOMER even if not to their benefit as I said I was shopping around for the glasses.

Both optometrists are great! Service is excellent. Works with my insurance easily. Pre-check in site needs work, that’s probably the website company though.

My daughter and I had tried 4 different eye doctors and 4 different very uncomfortable pairs of glasses before we met Dr Pratt. She was able to get the best prescription for both of us. We wouldnt go to any other eye doctor. Not even at the same office. She is very thorough and patient. She makes sure the prescription makes your vision comfortable as well clear. Additionally, the opticians are very friendly and patient.

Entrapment tactics to cheat you, they were nice while charging per hour helping my son put his contacts in. I thought how nice they set with him for about 2 hrs. I did not know they were charging until we checked out. They only gave 2 sample contact packs and then made us come back to sit with them again for contact fitting before releasing his prescription. Once you go in they grab you by the wallet not explaining any charges until you leave and you won’t get your prescription until you pay it and they’ve already billed you insurance.
