Jake is awesome! Purchased an Acura from him for a great deal. It ended up needing a few things done to it and he made sure to get it all up and running how it should. He kept me updated throughout the time he was working on it. Hes very knowledgeable and professional. Honestly havent had a better expereince anywhere else throughout the few cars Ive purchased. My dad who passed away was always the person I would go to for car troubles & what not becasue he had his own shop, bought and fixed cars then sold them, etc. I hadnt ran into anyone who reminded me so much of my dad personality wise & just the fact that Jake was honest and more plus does a lot of what my dad did his whole life was a different experience for me. This dealer deceived me about the availability of a car, and wasted my time and money for a carfax on a car he never intended to sell me.I first saw the car listed for sale few weeks ago on Facebook marketplace. and saved it to research it.Last Sunday, Jan 5, I asked the seller if the car was available and he messaged me he had a sale pending, and much much later, marked the listing as “pending.”Today, Jan 12, he marked the listing as available on Facebook marketplace, and I again began to converse with him multiple times about meeting to potentially buy the car... he said we could meet and even sent me the VIN number so I could verify the car history. He then he tells me that the car is still pending and that he really had to sell to someone else. He should never have marked the car as available. That is a deceptive practice! If he was on the hook for selling to someone else, he should never have indicated he had it to sell again and cost me money.I have no desire to do business with someone that is willing to string someone along and cost them money. For all I know he notified the other potential buyer that someone else was ready to buy it, to try to motivate them.
