This was my first visit to Overlake EyeCare. I have had an excellent ophthalmologist in Kirkland who gave up her private practice so. I was concerned about finding someone else to meet my needs. I had an appointment with Dr Rebecca Lindsey, who turned out to have studied under my former ophthalmologist. A pleasant and reassuring surprise. I was extremely impressed with Dr Lindseys thoroughness, her listening skills, and diagnostic abilities. She really explained whey she decided what she did.

Great staff, everyone is friendly and efficient! OEC has a physician for all of your eye care needs! Not to mention great optical frame selection as well as sunglasses from brands like Maui Jim, Gucci, and Tom Ford.

Made me wait 30 minutes after checking in at 8 am before starting my check-up. Left me waiting 30 minutes in the exam room to get the doctor since the Nurses did the entire exam. If you have 120 minutes to spare, this is the perfect place for you.

I have been a patient here for over 15 years through my time in NW. I had a more urgent need today and they saw me immediately and my eye is healing. This is the level of service that you want for not only regular care but when something dies come up. They are also a full service one stop shop for care, contact, glasses. Highly recommend!

Took my 5 year twins for an eye checkup. They were very quick to check up each kids in parallel and reduce our 3 hr appointment to 1.5 hrs. They are following all sanity procedures during Covid. They were awesome in taking the baselines and doing the initial check up and then the doctor came in for 15 minutes for final review. We are blessed to have the clinic so close to home. Keep up the good work!

Not happy with contact exams. The Dr. left me in the office and walked out for more than 20 mins. She spent so little time with me after came back! They didnt have the pair (with precise prescription) for me to try. After the exams she said she would reach out to me in 1 or 2 weeks to decide what prescription to go to. She specifically said she would reach out to me, I dont need to call her! Of course she didnt reach out to me after more than 2 weeks! When I called the office the front desk told me normally you call us!

Super professional atmosphere and patient treatment from the beginning and through the end of my first Overlake Eye Care. It’s an almost long distance travel experience for us but it’s top-notch one stop eye care.

The assistant was clear and helpful in carrying out the test. After that I’ve to wait 30 minutes before Dr Lindsay appeared. And no one came to me to let me know why there’s such a long waiting time. I’ve to come out of the room to find out if I had been forgotten. Not happy about it.

Good place to check your eyes. Faculties are all nice. Dr Boporai have a treatment of my dry eyes last year and my eyes are much better !

This office is always very professional and easy to visit for regular appointments. What stands out is the emergency visit I just made with Dr. Coday. After watching my Golden State Warriors fall to the Lakers last night I started to notice dark spots in my eye. Realizing something might be wrong I called the office. By this time it was late and after hours. Dr. Coday was incredibly accommodating. She is brilliant and very skilled. She explained things comprehensively performed and exam and I was on my way. Highly recommended.

Finding an eye Doctor one can trust to cut your eyeball open can be a daunting task. After being informed (by another Doctor) my vision was being impaired by a cataract, I called a Doctor friend; who referred me to Dr. Mary Coday (she had removed his cataract). My first impression of both Overlake Eyecare, PS and Dr Coday were as good as I could have hoped! The staff at the front desk were efficient and well in charge of their front desk world! After being checked in...almost immediately Judy came out and greeted me, inviting me to begin diagnosis.Dr Mary Coday soon arrived and got straight to business. She is a straight forward, top of her game, no BS, Doctor!I researched her credentials, and I feel fortunate to be in her care.This will be a bit of a journey.Im glad Dr Mary Coday will be be there with me!

Overlake Eyecare is a very good place for professional eye care . The doctors are highly trained and the technicians are very friendly and answered all my questions I had. The waiting time was so quick, and I did feel however, the exam was a bit rushed . I guess that may be because all my tests came out normal. I do recommend Overlake Eyecare for anyone needing good honest doctors for their eye exams.

I have been wearing glasses since sixth grade and Dr. Sandhu is the best. ophthalmologist. I have ever seen. I have problem eyes (detached retina surgery from a boxing incident, astigmatism, etc. etc.) so I cant exactly walk into LensCrafters and get new glasses. I moved from California and needed a new doctor and I really hit the jackpot. She has great energy and is not just willing to give me the extra attention but is enthused to help me, um, not go blind. I am going to stay with her forever. The assistants are so personable and helpful, too.

I went to Overlake Eye because of an eye injury. I’m so glad I found them. Everyone is so nice and Dr. Boparai is an excellent physician. I’m well on my way to recovery. They made sure I understood the process and I really appreciate that.

I was referred to this office for specialists after an eye appointment elsewhere. It was 29th of December and I hoped they could fit me in before the end of the year when our health insurance deductible reset. Turns out they had an appointment for me AND my husband the very next day! I couldn’t believe it.Their office was very clean, masks required and hand sanitizers on every counter, table or surface. They sanitized every pen, chin guard, and forehead guard during my visit. I wasn’t seated more than 2 minutes in the waiting room before they brought me back for my appointment. The nurses and doctor were very nice and efficient. Explained things in a way I could understand and made me feel comfortable in how my results were interpreted. Definitely recommend this office and plan to return for my follow ups!

Had a great experience. Dr. CoDay was wonderful and gentle. I was quite scared till she explained my condition in full. The staff was pleasant. The office was very careful with covid. Oh, I even liked their handheld pressure checker. Much less nerve wrecking than the chin type.

Overlake EyeCare, PS has been my one-and-only-eye-doc place for 30+ years. Wow, I cannot believe that is the # of years starting with Drs. Bosland and Barry, an eye infection, mono contacts, Dr. Bopari, reading glasses, Dr. Coday, cataract surgery, and today another perfect annual check-up! This is exactly what I look for in a care provider: one who is with me on-going. Who knows my eyes or whatevermy medical situation, past and present. And, I would be remiss to leave out how helpful and friendly the office staff and assistants are. This is as wonderful a practice today as 30 years ago...probably better.

Love this place, Dr. Sandhu is the nicest optometrist Ive ever met and very thorough in her examination! I always look forward to seeing her! Taylor Hahn is the optician who made my glasses and she was not only SUPER friendly but also managed to make the perfect pair of glasses for me. I have a high prescription but she managed to make it work AND added in high index, blue light filter, and anti-fatigue, all in one pair of lenses with no problems. She also found me the perfect frame. :) Will definitely be going here for my yearly checkup & if Im feeling like getting another pair of glasses!

I got my frames and lenses done by Taylor Hahn at Overlake EyeCare. Taylor was DA most amazing customer service person. She worked diligently with me in picking the best option for my frames and was very supportive in helping me not only in discounts but also thinking about most optimized time to buy them for the best deal. Same happened with the lenses. she put me in the best progressive lenses Ive ever had. And once again game me a screaming deal. If you go to Overlake, please ask for Taylor, she is awesome!!!!!!

As per Covid guidelines, the clinic was very well maintained, with everyone social distancing, and sanitizer all around the room. We not only appreciate the doctor but the whole staff who were very friendly and helpful, and we enjoyed our visit.

I am 70 years old and this was my first eye exam, ever! I learned a lot from the friendly and professional staff. Very nice office environment and great attention to detail regarding COVID-19.

Worst experience. It’s not the doctor who checks the sign. It’s the nurse who checked my sight. I felt the results she gave was abnormal. When I asked the doctor to cross check again she did and the results were completely different. Worst part was the doctor checked my sight when my eyes were dilated. Now I am not even sure if the results which the doctor gave were also right. I am Costco/target are far better than this place.

DONT DO DRY EYE TREATMENT!!! Dry eye treatment is a waste of time and money. Not worth $650. A $50 heating mask bring you same result.

We had a fantastic experience for our young son with Dr. Lindsay and the care team here about a month and a half ago. We initially visited a different nearby pediatric optometrist that almost traumatized our son. Dr. Lindsay and the staff here was energized and thoughtful, and I am still grateful for the care and capabilities here. The facility is also updated and clean.Dr. Lindsay gave us a thoughtful unrushed second opinion. She explained why she disagreed with parts of the initial diagnosis we received at the nearby pediatric optometrist, and she even referred us to a pediatric ophthalmologist specialist she knew personally and could vouch for, and helped us get an appointment.

Today was an exceptional day. Went to the room for previsit screening and then saw the Doctor in record time. Best experience in my 18 years as a patient.

I am always pleased when I go to my eye doctor. The receptionist is friendly, helpful and timely. I don’t have to wait long at all to get in to start my appointment. I’m not crazy about the tests I have to have but they are always done quickly and professionally. The Dr explains the tests very well and his conclusions.

Doctor Rebecca Lindsay was great. She listen to the challenge I had been having with my previous color vision exam, and It’s implications with my job. She was thoughtful and encouraging, and overall extremely professional and pleasant. Everyone at the clinic was helpful. I’ll plan on visiting again.

Dr Boparai is the best. Gentle kind personable and his medicine is excellent!! I have to go 1 hour to get to him but won’t go anywhere else. My whole family switched to see him. The staff is always nice as well.

I have been seeing Dr. Boparai for chronic Dry Eye Syndrome over the last several months and have been happy with his knowledge and the treatments he has given me so far. I still have issues with my eyes, but he is trying hard to find the best treatment for me. They are somewhat better, but he has other treatments that we can try in the future if need be. He makes me feel very comfortable and his staff are all friendly as well. I would highly recommend him.

Eyeve been coming to Overlake Eyecare for years. I love having all my records there. I love how Dr. Boparai shows me my eye health spanning over a decade. The friendly staff make sure every visit goes smoothly.

Everyone at this place is super nice and knowledgeable. The only thing i would have to complain on is the wait :( i made an appointment at 3:00 pm and wasn’t seen until 4:40. But other than that everything was good!!

Super grateful for OEC. Ive been going for a while now, not realizing Ive never left a review for them. Dr. Boparai. I am so happy that he has been caring for my eye issues. As a 30 year old youd never really expect to have so many health issues randomly popping up, but with the right people caring for you that stress and pressure really is lifted off the shoulders.

My family has been coming to Overlake eye care for more than 7 years but this year has been the worst in terms of experience.Two weeks back one of my family members had an annual eye exam and it took 1 hour 25 minutes to complete the appointment. He was taken inside at the scheduled time but then kept waiting for different things while inside. Today was even worse. It took me 2 hours 20 minutes to complete my annual eye exam appointment. I was called in 45 minutes after my scheduled time. The assistant spent around 15-20 minutes to check my vision etc. Then he dilated my pupils and asked me to wait in the lobby so that he could start with another patient in the meantime. I was called back in about 20-25 minutes after that for photos of my eyes. Again I waited for the doctor for another 20-25 minutes in the room. When I finally came out my appointment had lasted 2 hours 20 minutes!I have no complaints against the doctor and the assistant – they did the best they could do with the waiting room full of patients and were courteous. But you seriously need to reconsider how many patients you schedule. Otherwise in an effort to increase your revenue you will end up losing loyal patients and earn negative word-of-mouth. If it recurs next year, I will definitely be looking to switch.

I was asked to take extra tests. I asked the Doctor (Dr. Sandhu) whether there would be additional expenses on this. I was told there wouldnt be any. Fast forward to 2 months, I get billed for these expenses. The letter also arrives two days before the deadline.TL;DR: Dont go here. They try to lie to you to get you to take additional tests.

A fine facility! Dr. Mary Coday is exceptional, thorough & complete in her care. The employees Mallory and Tung are, again, exceptional and really care about what theyre doing! The optical department is, well, exceptional as well and Merry Jo is a joy! The parking arrangement is somewhat tight for the disabled, and sometimes weve had to wait nearly an hour. Overall, however, wed never go anywhere else! One other wonderful employee of this clinic is the telephone person, Natasha. So helpful, all of them.

The people here are always kind and helpful. I bring a 97 yr old gentleman in and he always comments on the way the office runs so smoothly. Always on time.Dr Coday returned his sight to him so he is especially fond of her.

The most wonderful, competent, caring, and friendly staff you will find in this area!I was told by my optometrist that my optic nerve is swollen which may be indicative of a brain tumor. I was referred to Swedish Neuro-Opthalmology and waited MONTHS for them just to contact me to schedule an appointment. My optometrist sent them a referral TWICE, I called them weekly, and even went down to their office (in which they told me they would call me... which was a joke!) all to try to get seen. Yet they never even bothered to call me, even with the severity of my problem.Hopeless, afraid, and frustrated, I went to see a general doctor and she instead referred me to Overlake EyeCare. She contacted them, explained my situation, and they were able to squeeze me in the very next day!Doctor Boparai was amazing with an excellent bedside manner! He explained everything to me and patiently answered all my questions. He put all my fears to rest, promising to handle all my opthalmogist care as well as connect me with a neurologist so, together, they can give me all the care I need.Not to be forgotten, the front desk receptionist (Cindy) as well as the lab tech (who I unfortunately did not get his name) were both extremely friendly, patient, and accommodating. Lots of front door parking and a beautifully stocked waiting room.All in all my experience exceeded any expectations I had! Would definitely recommend.

This practice gone down, especially with their incompetent billing department. I was a pt of Dr. Coday and thought she was wonderful at the beginning. However, beginning a few years back, I began noticing problems in her interaction with me as a patient. I have discontinued going here because of the lack of a caring environment.
