Ken Stanton is a great company to work with. They go above and beyond to help get you the right instrument. In my case I was looking at a particular Fender guitar that is not common in most music shops. When the guitar went out of stock, I was placed on a waiting list by an employee. Eric W. helped me out. He followed up with me when it eventually came back in stock months later and gave me first dibs. KSM and Eric W. have been outstanding with their communication and customer service. These guys are a class act. I look forward to doing business with you all again.

In Georgia visiting my sisters and gifting a guitar to my niece for her birthday. Of course, I forgot the extras like strings, a capo, and a metronome. They had everything I needed and several brands and prices ranges for each item. I was very impressed with the entire store and staff. I do not know if they work on commission, but they all deserve a piece of the sale. Ken Stanton music is great. They had a great selection of guitars from top brands. Their Taylor selection was abundant, and good for me since that is what I ended up buying. This is a great place to get your musical instruments. They have a wide range of instruments available. I got my Yamaha DGX 670 Keyboard from here. I met with Mr. Paul Standefer, who was extremely helpful in explaining all the features of this keyboard. This keyboard had just arrived and he spent good enough time exploring all the features and going over each one of them in detail with me. I could have bought the same thing online, but I was impressed with the level of service and attention provided my Mr. Paul, something that I did not experience in other music stores. The moment I stepped out of the store, I knew that I had to buy my next keyboard from this place. So within a week, I came back and bought this keyboard along with all needed accessories. Mr. Paul was very helpful in setting up a great bundled deal that worked for me.I would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to buy a new instrument and needs some guidance and a thorough overview of the available options.

Highly recommend Ken Stanton Music. Recently dealt with Eric W. to pre-order an unreleased guitar. The manufacturer had multiple delays and Eric was super communicative and helpful throughout the process. The guitar is still not available from the big box stores, but I was able to pick mine up from KSM yesterday, one of the many benefits of dealing with a local shop. A few weeks ago, I had placed an order online for a beautiful tanglewood cutaway acoustic electric guitar. The order process was pretty easy and the order arrived about 5 days after placing it. Well I was informed that they weren’t happy with the one that was gonna ship due to sharp fretting. They sent me a second one and when that arrived to my dismay it still had some sharp frets. I decided to try and deal with it but after about 15 mins of playing it had given me an abrasion on my finger. I contacted them that Saturday morning to inform them that this was just not gonna be the guitar for me. They were so understanding and willing to accept the guitar back for an in store credit and find me something that would be more satisfactory for me. Well they went above and beyond to not only fit me into an acoustic electric but also gave me a few options of brands and also based on a friends recommendations. They showed me guitars in the price range I wanted to be at and found a beautiful Breedlove. The return process was smooth and they even hooked me up with an instant rebate from the manufacturer and discounted a gig bag a few bucks for me to protect the new baby. Y’all!!! I cannot recommend this store enough times!!!The staff was knowledgeable, friendly, courteous and so understanding. Before you go to a big chain store, I urge you 1,000 times to go check these guys out first. I doubt you’ll be disappointed!!!

Rather than pressuring you into a purchase theyll help you match what you want to a good value.They carry pro audio, band and orchestra, keyboards, and all the instruments to rock out.The space is wheelchair accessible and during non covid times theyve lessons in the store.They are taking covid precautions with masks and barriers.

Came in for the first time with a couple of my friends to try some amplifiers, brought my own guitar.There was a gentleman whose desk is on the right near the electric guitar shelves that would not stop staring at us as we looked at the guitars. I asked him if I could have a power supply and he asked me what I was doing and why before pretty rudely explaining that the amp I was looking at didnt work and that I needed to go to the amp room. After we waited a few minutes to use it because it was already occupied, he would not stop staring at us from his desk (which is right outside). I asked him for a power supply a second time because he didnt get me one the first time and he got visibly upset and started ranting about how the amps are plugged in and I dont need a power supply, until I told him it was for my pedal. He then told me I needed to take my case up front because they dont want people stealing (I didnt know this because it was my first time being there and nobody said anything to me about it when I came in). Ive been to many music stores, but this one definitely made me feel the most uncomfortable, we didnt even feel like playing anymore so we just left. Very nice guitar selection, but terrible customer service.

Ken Stanton Music is the finest music store in Georgia. The electric guitar selection is pristine and lit well enough that the tops and finishes really shine. The acoustic room near the entrance has a great assortment of entry level to exotic, from the usual Martins and Taylors to the slightly more obscure stuff like PRS SE acoustics and Takamine. Something I particularly like about Ken Stanton over the local competitors is the professional staff and their handling of in-store clinics. A few years ago, I caught Andy Timmons doing a clinic and the production went off without a hitch. Id be up here once a week if I lived nearby.

Recently started teaching myself guitar, after over 30 years owning one and never learning. My guitar needed new strings and they explained how to install them. Didnt try to sell me anything else, although Im sure they wouldve been more than happy to. Recently went into a Guitar Center and got horrible service; false advertising issue. I will return to Ken Stanton Music whenever necessary.

Overall staff has been friendly and accommodating but I felt mislead about the rental process. I rented my daughter a 3/4 violin three years ago. I had to upgrade it to a 4/4 in her third year.The associate didn’t tell me that the contract started fresh and I was on the hook for another three years worth of payments. I just kept being charged. I was finally able to return it due to covid. I mentioned the situation to the sales associate and all I got was I’m so sorry to hear that. It shouldn’t have happened that way. No offer to refund some monthly payments, etc. technically the violin should have been mine after paying for it for three years. Live and learn. So just be careful and make sure you read all of the fine print. Make them explain each step and that you understand it. Don’t have the wool pulled over yours eyes.

My favorite store to go to for guitar things but i guess they don’t actually need new employees like their sign says ... submitted multiple applications and called/visited to ask about it numerous times and they always say they’ll check up on it and it goes no further. it would be nice if they would at least let me know that they’re not interested instead of me calling visiting and sending more applications for no reason.

Their customer service is very kind and quick! They fixed a little problem with my purchase in professional manner with responsible attitude. I will use their online shop in the future.

I love this place, I always feel right at home when I come here. The selection is great, the store is really well - kept up, and the staff is terrific, knowledgeable, and easy to get along with. Since I first started coming here in 2016, they’ve always made me feel welcome, and the fact that you have these familiar faces to come back to is one huge factor that keeps me coming back here instead of Guitar Center. Ken Stanton also does great guitar setups, and they always keep their guitars well - maintained, which is a detail a lot of stores miss. The reason I keep coming here instead of anywhere else is because this place has top notch attention - to - detail, a great variety of instruments, and staff that is simultaneously attentive, informative, and friendly. When Gary worked here, he was very friendly and helpful, and Patrick so far has been friendly and helpful as well. I’ve so far purchased three guitars here, as well as every pack of strings and guitar picks, had every single one of my guitar setups done here, and as long as this is the Ken Stanton I come back to, that’s not going to change.

3 year old is taking piano lessons at this location. Teacher is Ms. Lin and she is great! She does as good a job as anyone would be able to do with a 3 year old. Everyone here is friendly and the store is clean. I purchased a trumpet from Ken Stanton in the 90s and was satisfied with my purchase then. Seems like nothing has changed with the quality of service that they provide to the community.

I’ve been there several times with my children who were not exactly sure what they wanted. They went above and beyond to help narrow down what type of guitar was appropriate for their needs, and more importantly, my budget. They also gave me advice about my existing instruments and their condition.

I had shopped at two different guitar centers who sold the same product. Ken Stanton was not only cheaper by 300 dollars but the the drum manager who sold me the set was extremely helpful over the phone and also remembered me when I showed up. The Roland 25kv installation went very smooth and the drums kits sound fantastic. I drove two hours from Alabama because of how helpful and knowledgeable the sales person was. Great experience!,

Friendly staff, excellent variety of electric and acoustic guitars. I was in there for acoustics, and all the instruments had good strings which is not the norm at most places. I felt that the guitars on hand were very good representations of each brand - there wasn’t a bad guitar in the shop. Highly recommended.

I love these guys. Ive been a musician my entire life, since I was 5. Im in my 60s now. Between this store and the Woodstock location, Ive purchased 2 amps and 3 guitars in the past 10 years. Why buy on the internet when you can buy from Ken Stanton at the same price or lower? The great service is just icing on the cake. Great store. All of the employees have a passion for music. Been saving up for a guitar for a long time. The staff was patient with me while I narrowed down my choice over multiple trips. When I finally made my decision, the guitar tech told me to wait a couple of days for the next sale. I saved enough to buy a sweet case. Ken Stanton has another lifetime customer.

The only music store I shop at. The guitars are all set up and the staff even polish them after you play them and when they hand them to you, most are already in tune. Imagine that, a staff that takes pride in what they sell. Just like a real music store is supposed to be. The staff isnt pushy at all and try and help instead of acting like they are a rock star and doing you a favor. I wont mention the store where the staff does that, but its initials are GC. I was told by one staff member that Ken Stanton picks the guitars personally from the various vendors. Seems to be true as they are a cut above the usual at the big box stores. Prices are fair and they will negotiate a bit. Highly recommended.

So my Bb Trumpet had stuck tuning slides and something clogging airflow. I found out my brother had tried to use a cheaply made cable brush to try to clean the inside. The brush broke off. The total repair bill was $105. It was so worth it. They removed the brush. But they did more! They super cleaned every area of my trumpet, they fixed a dent, they fixed the dentet bell, they got my tuning slides unstuck, and regreased it, and they made it a little shiny again. They were so considerate for my trumpet, and wanted it near perfect. I recommend Ken Stanton for any repair job for any brass or woodwind instrument. Also, the staff were very helpful and polite, and even gave me much helpful advice to maintain a trumpet very well. Ken Stanton is the best!

Went in to buy a new guitar, being relatively inexperienced, the salesman there let me look at several guitars and I ended up deciding on a wonderful used Epiphone SG. Since I couldnt play very well, the salesman played a couple guitars for me and showed me a few amps. These guys are very friendly and will help you pick out something youll be happy with, with no pressure.

I moved to this area in 1995. A drummer by trade, guitarist at heart. I was looking for a store that had that Down Home feel. Yes, we have the Guitar Center and frankly, the very first time I went in, due to my age at the time I guess, (39), I was treated liek a second class citizen, if you didnt have long hair, dress like Steven Tyler, the noses went so high, its a wonder they didnt get frostbite. I left with the same attitude as I was given, cocky and arrogant and I havent gone back EVER. I asked around and was told about Ken Stanton. Let me tell you few things, number one, they are as down to earth as can be. Their prices are competitive, but what I found is that they really reward loyalty, I get discounts from them these days that are probably deeper than any of their Special sales events, and I get invited to many of the special events. Several years ago I had a brush with identity theft on the eve of a live gig when I was expecting a delivery of a mixing board and a set of drum mics, cables, etc. They didnt get shipped as a result and I was left hanging. I was getting a superb deal then suddenly, I am getting nothing and this live show is when? -TOMORROW ! I take my list of items I had purchased from a San Diego Vendor where I had a long standing and deeply discounted account to Ken Stanton. Bill and Paul bent over backwards to help me out in a jam. They had everything I needed, actually gave me a better deal then I was from my old friends in Cali - the gig went off the next day without a hitch. Now, I had already been coming there several years at that point, but that night, minutes before they closed, they came through in a huge way. I wont go anywhere else. Every person there is genuinely a pro at what they do, from Pro-Audio, Drums and Percussion, to Guitars, I trust them, I buy from them on a regular basis, they are always eager to serve and I dont buy their top-of-the-line stuff, I cant afford a $5000.00 guitar, or a $10,000.00 set of drums, they have that stuff there, but even though I buy the middle-of-the-road gear, they treat me like I was buying the high-end gear, and for that, I reward them back by being a loyal customer. You dont get that down home genuine courtesy very much these days anywhere - but at Ken Stanton, its SOP. What can I say, I love all of these guys, they are awesome human beings and they treat everyone I see going in there with the same respect whether they are buying a $400.00 guitar, or a $20,000. PA System.

They had posted an incorrect used guitar model for sale at the wrong price and at the wrong location, then said it had sold the day before from their other store but they did not remove it from their web site. I drove 1/2 hr one way to purchase it because it was active on their web site.

I have been to this store, and the one in Alpharetta as well, several times over the last year. Customer service and appreciation stands out as excellent in both of these stores. Their stock is phenomenal, their staff is extremely professional and knowledgeable, and their prices beat all of the music catalogs on the internet as well as the chain stores. That is why I just bought 2 new guitars there, within a month. One of them needed a very slight adjustment, and the luthier at the Marietta store did a very quick and excellent job. He is obviously very skilled. Earlier in my life, when I lived in New York, Id been to the big NYC guitar stores, and they cant hold a candle to the service that I got at Ken Stantons. Neither can the guitar shops in Nashville. If you want great service and great prices on your musical instruments, especially guitars, this is the place to go.
