I have been a customer for 5+ years and the one time that I didn’t count my cash back money—I was shorted $20. “Here you go” is all the “customer service” employee said as she handed me the money, after verifying that I was right. Is that all that happens after shorting a Customer TWENTY hard-earned dollars?? Wow.

A C store. Usually dirty, littered parking areas. Cart boys just can not be cart boys, I am sure their job description goes beyond that? If doing more than collecting carts and staying off their cell phones is part of their tasks then monitor them more closely or pay them less. Really. Come on Giant Food!

Horrible produce. The veggies and fruits always go bad right away. Overnight my strawberries from this Giant will always mold. I pay good money at Giant. I went to ALDIs and got $.98 strawberries that didn’t mold and tasted fresher. Do better Giant

I usually have a good experience at this Giant. Its about the only one I actually like shopping. So I was surprised with todays encounter. I arrived to the store, got a cart, and began filling it as usual. All was well until I went to the self check out. I began by scanning my reward card, and noticed the cashier from the main register standing at the last available self checkout kiosk (I was checking out at the center one). I start scanning items, and realize she is ONLY watching me when there are about 3 or 4 other people also using self checkout. I chose not to confront her to avoid causing a scene in the store. I did however, fill out the survey and call the on duty manager Connie. I understand part of the job is loss prevention, but there is absolutely NO acceptable reason to observe only one out of several customers. In this social climate, its important to avoid situations where it appears employees are profiling their customers, especially when they are ones who give no merit to such attention, and provide a paid receipt EVERY shopping trip. Ill be sure corporate is made aware of this occurrence.

It a pretty good giant! I like to go early. Not many cashiers but I have always had good service and fresh food! Love the deli and bakery but wish the bagels and donuts made it out fresh in the morning instead of later -after 11am!

After being a past employee with Giant at another location I must say that this is the only location I will shop at. The customer service is awesome everytime I have been in there everyone has a smile on their face and are very welcoming. Most employees there have built great customer relationships with both myself, my mom and my daughter. The only complaint I have is with one of the customer service store managers and her interactions when my daughter reached out to her about a job and her attention towards my daughter was like she was bothering her and was very short with my daughter. That I found very unacceptable coming from a store manager but overall this is by far the only location I will continue to shop at. Thank you for an excellent experience

I love Giant!Just moved here to Hamilton a month ago and at first was going to Safeway, but never really liked the store, aisles too small and not a good selection of produce, and also tried ShopRite, no decent produce at all.Giants prices are way much better with the bonus card!I will now make this Giant my store!!

The online ordering and pickup system here is the best in the area. Good selection, missing some of the boutique coffees that I would prefer. The parking lot is ok, not great. Under construction right now in March 2021 so watch out for that.

Usually a good store. One time I did pick up some lunch meat from here that I discovered was rotten when I brought it home 30 minutes later 🤢. The young cashiers are often talking on the phone when checking people out which Im sure the manager wouldnt want but overall this store is what I expect from a Giant.

I truly appreciate everything about this Giant; well stocked, clean, fresh produce...Everything EXCEPT Sandra. I really have no idea why anyone would deal with her attitude, and ill-tempered demeanor when there are self-check aisles, and typically at least one other cashier.It’s really a shame, because everyone else generally has a positive, helpful attitude.

Great place to shop. Only one issue. Went in for ingredients to make a crabpot and couldnt find corn on the cob. Fresh or frozen. I vouldnt believe it. Maybe corn is a seasonal item for this market. Idk

Disappointed!! Website states that masks are required however two customers were shopping without a mask! The staff worker at the counter told me it was optional... I left the store immediately and went to ShopRite where they care for the safety of customers and staff. Masks and social distancing required and enforced.

Peace & Blessings! F1RST and foremost, were still living in a Pandemic(COVID-19/Coronavirus). However, the numbers have gone down across this Nation(USA) but we must continue to practice SAFETY, patience, and self-control NOT only because of the Pandemic but in LIFESTYLE. Okay now, back to why I gave this place 5☆ starting with mask wearing signs were posted, staff had on mask at ALL times, Staff were friendly and patient, store was clean and neat, shelves appeared to be fully stocked, great deals/discounts, and I was able to find everything I needed.

Giant is my favorite grocery store in Baltimore and this is a great location. Big, clean, new and wonderful!

As usual the store was clean, & for as late as I was there, well stocked. The xtra bonus @ the Parkville store is that Vicki, Judy, were there w/ a hello, & a lil chitchat & Barb checked me out. It was just about time for the store to switch over 2 those damned self checkouts. I like the employees, vs a machine. The staff there is friendly & helpful.

Orderly, with customers complying to wear a mask. There was one employee stocking vegetables whose mask was below his nose. Perhaps, due to COVID-19, there were fewer items and fewer labels on the shelves, but lots of toilet paper (unfamiliar branding). Otherwise, it was a typical shopping experience.

I would like to mention a concern about certain customer service/cashier who all the time that i got in the line she will say im gonna close or im closed.She worked Saturday 01/16/2021 around 5pm at the cashier number 9, Plus really guys on Saturday/Sunday running yhe whole store with just 3 cahsier ??? Really???Where is the manager??? How you guys can work on Saturday with just 3 cashier and one of them that she wanna just go home and not giving any respect to customer.If there is a below star Ill give it to you guys.Very rude and not professional

Will never return to this Giant. I was at the deli department and my number was up. I told the black male worker what I wanted and he then served the lady in line after me before serving me. I questioned him and he told me to get my 1/2 pound of chipped ham would take him 10 minutes and her order was faster. I was the only white person involved.

Store staff is definitely not supportive one of the most dysfunctional back of the houses Ive seen when asked a giant Associates to assist with emptying the water pallet for new items as he should have already you told me he was working on regular water and literally stocked up his U-Boat that was only within 20 feet from me as I start my own you boat and went to the same isle.They make unacceptable excuses as if we are not there assisting them in doing even more than what our job entails meanwhile they do nothing and disappear smoke cigarettes and hang out in the lobby area and purchase drinks and sit down and take undocumented brakes on the dime of giants I hope the store gets it together.

The prepared parm chicken was hard and dry.. I gave some of it to my dog who had a hard time eating it. Also, the container was lose and the chicken fell into the bag when I got home!!!!!

I wonder if Giant will start carrying Daiyas products like the different cheeses and cream cheese spread. My favorite store that close to my house.

Mainly overpriced selection compared to other grocers Ive found - but thats for name-brand items. Diverse selection of brands although stock at this particular Giant location is compromised compared to other larger locations.Some sale priced items still catch my eye from time-to-time at Giant.

I dont live in the region anymore, but when back visiting I always shop there. Wonderful selection of foods with great, friendly service. I stock up on certain products & bring them back with me during my travels to my home state.

The manager Kim carr is very rude she was yelling at a cashier in the middle of the store and when I was done shopping I went to the cashiers line that was getting screamed at and she was very polite and nice and she did her job right and everything so she shouldn’t of been treated like that

It is much smaller than the other Giant l shop in Towson but in this case that is a good thing. It doesnt have quite as big a selection as other Giant Foods Ive been to but it has that homey comfortable feel to it like small grocery stores I remember from my childhood. Not a huge selection but everything is easy to find and the staff is always helpful. I wish they would upgrade the lighting in the parking lot but that may be the shopping centers responsibility.

Didnt hate it its okay though I usually go to the giant on york rd. This store didnt have the rotisserie chicken salad I usually buy that was disappointing so I will have to go back to York road. However the cashier was really friendly and of course the store was really clean, will probably be going again. 😊

Didnt have the regular sized marshmallows, only the really small ones for hot chocolate. You were think in this the day and age of automated systems this would be stocked.

Its a grocery store thats why it got four stars instead of 5 I love giant their prices are great and if they dont carry something they will order it for you you can also place online deliveries and have it brought directly to your door they keep saying stop that other stores dont knowing just me will be buying them like fat free mayonnaise or specific brands of hummus nobody else buys them but I do so they keep them in stock since I requested them. And this giant is very friendly I like all the cashiers here

Expensive compared to other grocery store chains. The people are moderately friendly, and there is a good selection. It is in a relatively nice and safe part of town.

Typically more expensive than other stores. However it is generally very clean and well kept. Staff is a bit slow moving, but generally friendly.

Its a smaller store, so they dont always carry the same items as other locations. The staff is friendly, especially management. You can always catch one of the managers working on the sales floor. Love the in store samples. The deli is always busy. They could use more help there.

The service here is good when they are staffed otherwise it horrible 9am Saturday morning 1 cashier. Two people standing at the self checkout. why? They need more than one cashiers even throughthro the day. I put down my non-Perishable items, got in vehicle and I went to wise supermarket they always have plenty of cashiers years along with great customer service. Dont waist your time standing in line go to Wise.

Had to go to 2 Giants in my area to find fresh Thomas bagels today... Still settled. Giant is good with fresh stocked items.

I can usually count on this Giant to have the items that are listed in the sales paper. There have only been a few times I needed a rain check but they gave it freely. If I cant go to the farmers market, this is 1 of 3 stores (in my area) I like to pick up produce. Staff is usually pleasant. Store is clean and organized.

Today the produce was not great. They need to step up and do better with packaged salads. Also there was only like 2 registers open and the lines were very long.

The Meat department Doesnt do cuts of meat, the store is disorganized and dirty, always only one cashier and half the self checkouts down, produce is always scrawny and bruised, staff is rude.Stay away

There are four Safeways and Giants closer to my house (one of which is directly across the street from me), but I drive 20 minutes to shop at this particular Giant. Switching stores has been a tremendous game changer and a huge relief to my mental health (only half sarcastic about that)! The last few years I have grown to absolutely hate going to the grocery store. That’s all changed now. The customers are nicer and actually considerate, the store is clean (surprisingly rare), appears to be very well-managed, and every single time I’ve gone there the cashier has been very nice and friendly and left me with a smile. Especially Cynthia. At the other stores, about 50% of the time the cashier wouldn’t even acknowledge my existence. At the end of the transaction, I would break the silence and say, “thanks, you too!”, with a big smile to see if they even noticed their own silence and crabbiness. It’s a whole different story at this giant, and I just wanted to take a little time to say something about it and say thanks to whoever is responsible.

The store is a great neighborhood grocery store. Its not open 24 hours but it does stay open pretty late. The shelves are always fully stocked. I rarely see boxes of food waiting to be unpacked in the aisles. Checkout lines are usually staffed with cashiers. The self checkouts rarely malfunction. All in all, a dependable grocery.

I just spent 15 minutes walking around the store trying to find an employee that could help me find what I need. I finallyleft my cart and walked out. I understand the stores busy but theres no excuse for no customer service.
